Warhammer: Angron Training Manual

Chapter 298 Humiliation and Patience

Chapter 298 Humiliation and Patience

"Legion Commander."

Kahn rested his index finger on the button of his chainsaw axe, and his other hand tightly grasped a miniature melta produced on Nu.

The voice of the assault company commander came privately into Kiel's ears through the communication channel.

The situation at this time was beyond everyone's expectations and the atmosphere was very tense. Kiel had no time to chat and had no countermeasures to pass on to Kahn for the time being.

Kiel rolled his eyes and looked towards the Forging General named Kelbor Har.

Those war machines... the Mechanicus should call them combat soldiers.

Kiel couldn't tell the specific models, but he seemed to remember that there was a fighter soldier called Domita.

This type of fighter is as powerful as the Dreadnought.

Kiel didn't recognize the remaining types of fighter soldiers guarding Hal at all. He had never seen such things even when he fought side by side with the Mechanicus.

But since he was there to protect Kelbo, it would not be difficult for him and the people Kahn brought with him to kill them all quickly.

Kiel observed it for a moment, but he was determined not to give in.

"Can the Casting General send people to assassinate the adoptive father of the Lord of the Twelve Legions?" Kil asked.

"We have never intended to assassinate anyone. Don't make a big deal out of this." The sage said, "We are just conducting an investigation on Nu Star, investigating the lost technology. We have archive records left before the investigation began. You can't accuse us at will."

"No, you are assassinating him." Kiel said, "I also have the video footage left by the Primitive Leader. Your living modified biological weapons attacked him."

"Hehe." A disdainful snort came from Kelbo's voice-generating device.

The sage continued to talk to Kiel: "My reasoning device tells me that you are just crazy because of poverty. You want to blackmail some ships, so you have exaggerated this matter to the point of seizing our ships. But if you crazy poor guys can beg for money instead of robbing, we can give you a few ships."

"We would rather execute you," Kiel responded immediately.

After the Sage and Kiel had a conversation in which each of them had their own reasons, Kiel didn't want to continue the meaningless argument, so he looked at Kelbo.

"Why is the Casting General here?" asked Kiel.

The most surprising thing about the whole incident was the appearance of Forging General Kelbor.

Originally there were two plans. One was to allow the Mechanicus to leave after replenishing supplies, and the other was to detain the Mechanicus' ships.

It doesn't matter if the fleet is from Mars or another Forge World, if there's a reason, take it.

What they are sure of is that they will have no way to deal with this bunch of minions after they are found with a reason to be robbed, and the Empire and the Mechanicus will not come into conflict because of a group of minions.

But the embarrassing thing is that the Casting General is in the fleet.

Kiel thought about it... If they knew from the beginning that this was the Forge Admiral's fleet, he didn't know how the Primarch and the Guide would make the decision. Anyway, he had no idea between the two options of taking action or not.

As for what to do next.

Kiel decided to find a way to prove that the Mechanicum was deliberately plotting assassination... The XII Legion could not bow down and surrender to any force. As the Primarch's guide, the Lord of the White Knights, had said, if the XII Legion, which held a large number of ancient technological relics, surrendered at this time, then Nuceria would become a "public toilet" of the Mechanicum in the future.

They can come and go as they please, do whatever they want, and their bottom line is constantly challenged and they are constantly provoked - in order to avoid this future, they will not hesitate to escalate the conflict.

"This is an assassination." Kiel emphasized again, then pointed the grenade launcher at the sage and wanted to pull the trigger.

When Kahn and his men behind him saw the Legion Commander's actions, they also took action and rushed towards the people nearby.

"Wait a moment."

A voice sounded, causing all the World Eaters to stop moving.

On the other side of the command deck, Qin Xia and the fully armed Angron walked out of the wind and snow.

Kiel reminded the Primarch in his heart that bloodshed could break out at any time and it was very dangerous, but Angron felt that Kiel should not be left alone to handle this matter.

"Forge General?" Angron looked at Kelbor who was surrounded by the mecha soldiers. "Why are you here?"

The Sage immediately replied: "The new Forge General has temporarily left Mars to visit the Forge Worlds and confirm that those Forge Worlds are still loyal to the alliance between the Imperium and the Mechanicum."

Angron frowned and looked at Qin Xia.

Qin Xia felt a little helpless when he first walked out, and now he was thinking, without exchanging glances with Angron.

"If you really want to know the details, you might as well ask your father." The sage said, "This trip was ordered by the Emperor."

When the Sage said the words "Emperor's command", Kelber sneered, "Hmph."

Angron had only wanted to use questions to provoke them to think more, to read their emotions and inner thoughts, so he could now perceive more details.

Kelbo is indeed the new Mars Forging General, and this trip is indeed to visit many forging worlds, hoping to make those forging worlds actively or passively recognize the status of Kelbo and Mars.

The sage before him was from the Martian Mechanicus faction that believed the Emperor was the Messiah of Om.

But Kelber is not like that. Kelber believes that the Emperor is just a liar... He thinks so in his heart, and the Sage and most people on Mars know that Kelber thinks so in his heart.

But this guy was still elected as the Forge General, and the Empire and the Emperor undoubtedly watched him become the Forge General.

If this situation had happened in the past, Angron would definitely think that the Emperor had a problem with his brain for allowing a Martian who opposed him to become the leader of the Mechanicus's Martian headquarters. Even if the Mechanicus was not subordinate to the Empire, as an ally, couldn't the Emperor find a way to mediate or trip them up?
The Emperor may not have time, but can Malcador act on his behalf?
But now Angron felt that it was not the Emperor who had a problem with his brain... Of course, the Emperor was indeed a little abnormal, but the Emperor might be the driving force behind Kelbor becoming the Forge General.

The reason is also very simple.

The Forge General is not the Martian Emperor Malcador of Mars. He is an opinion leader who represents a force and a group. Kelber is the representative of the majority. If he comes to power, he can unite the majority of people and many Forge Worlds, which is better than the previous Mechanicum's almost bulk retail.

Even if it is only temporary solidarity, even if it is only solidarity that is harmful to the future.

"Primarch?" the Sage reminded Angron softly. Angron thought for a while, and the people on the command deck thought he had nothing to say.

“So…” Angron paced back and forth, holding the Widowmaker, “Just because the Forge General showed up, like a sandworm in the red sand of Nuceria… I have to ignore your assassination attempt on my adoptive father and happily send you out of Nuceria with a smile on my face…”

The sage wanted to continue the debate.

Angron stopped and signaled the sage to shut up. "I know what you want to say. You are not carrying out an assassination, but I don't think so."

After saying that, the Primarch looked at Qin Xia.

Qin Xia took a step forward with his spear held upside down and shouted, "The mechas you sent down with psychics will go directly to Nu, Nu, or even my warship. If I don't have the least bit of vigilance against you technological flies, I will be killed by the hot melt fired by your mechas."

Qin Xia snapped his fingers.

Several visions emerged within the command deck.

A man with half of his body blown off, a fallen mecha, and traces of battle.

"Do you admit that this is true?" Qin Xia asked.

The wise man remains silent because this is the truth.

The mechas were not all on Nu Star at once, and Qin Xia did not kill them all in one place. Instead, he used psychic teleportation to constantly change places to kill and take away the bodies of the mechas.

"Does the Mechanicus have control over the mechas?" Qin Xia asked again.

The sage nodded.

"So when your mechas chose to fire thermal weapons at me after being discovered, was my life threatened at that moment?" Qin Xia asked again.

The wise man remained silent.

After a few seconds of silence, the sage Kelber spoke slowly, "But the fact is that you were not hurt. We know where your armor came from. Not to mention the melta, even the macro cannons might not be able to break it... That's why we didn't cancel the mecha's self-defense capability."

Qin Xia took a look at the sailor who had half of his body blown off in the illusion he created, and pointed his gun at the sage: "Are the sailors on the White Knight human?!"

"But you have biotechnology that can cure him," said the sage.

Qin Xia thought that this was indeed true, but his momentum did not diminish in the slightest, and he continued to fight against the sage in front of him.

Also being targeted by the guns were the different types of mechas and Kelbo.

The Mechanicus personnel present also raised their weapons.

Until the silent Kelber slowly spoke: "So what kind of result do you and the Primarch want to achieve in this incident?"

Angron did not answer immediately, sensing Kelbor's inner thoughts.

This Mechanicus fleet and what it did was itself a test to see whether the latest developed infiltration mechas could successfully complete the mission on Nu Star.

Kelbo was there to deal with what would happen after the failure.

Because he believed that if he, the Forging General, was present, the conflict could be settled, at least a situation would be avoided where an entire fleet was massacred by the butchers of the 12th Legion. If anyone were to send people to Nu Star in the future, who would dare to come except a few crazy people or normal people?

"I will detain and interrogate each of you. If you refuse, I will kill you all." Angron stood beside Qin Xia and pointed the chainsaw axe in his right hand at Kelbor, "Including you, the Forging General."

"This is impossible! This is a great shame!" The sage suddenly lifted up his red robe, revealing an energy weapon integrated into his chest. "I will cover the evacuation of the Casting General, and then what awaits you is war!"

"Shut up!" Angron suddenly yelled at the sage.

Qin Xia directly used his spiritual power to cut off the connection line of the sage's voice generator.

Both of them knew that the purpose of this sage's existence was to express the negative remarks on behalf of Kelbor that the Forging General was unable to express.

For example, it is difficult for the Forge Admiral to say that our fleet is outside the Nuceria sector, waiting to attack you, but he wants to say it, so the Sage will say it for him. Then such words cannot be made a big deal, because it was only said by a Sage. Afterwards, Kelbor can just promote the Sage in name only and demote him in reality as a punishment.

When things have developed to this point, the wise man is no longer qualified to speak.

"You...what are you, Kelbor Har? The Forge General?"

"Do you think the Fabricator-General is the Emperor of Mars? Do you think that even if I kill you, the Mechanicus, because of the civil war between you and the Empire? I'm afraid there are many people who just want to watch you die so that the Mechanicus can completely get rid of the Empire!"

Angron continued to pace, observing the flaws of the mechas.

"I'll give you ten seconds to accept my investigation and arrest, or we'll start a war here and I'll chop off your head and send it outside the Nukeria sector!"

The Primarch's pressure had undoubtedly worked.

The Mechanicus personnel looked at each other.

Kelber walked out from among the mecha soldiers, stretched out his hand, and said to the people on both sides: "Look at how the Primarch who represents the Empire treats us. As I said before... let us endure the humiliation, my fellow believers."

Kiel stepped forward and put handcuffs on Kelber.

Then something happened that most people present couldn't understand.

Those Mechanicus who were, in Angron's opinion, extremely loyal to Kelbor, began to take pictures, while the Magus, who had always spoken for Kelbor but was actually more loyal to the Emperor, began to prevent his colleagues from taking pictures.

One of the monks took the photos and gave one of them to Kahn.

Kahn picked up the photo and took a look at it. He could even imagine how the photo would be reported after it was circulated.
