Warhammer: Angron Training Manual

Chapter 329: The Primarch's Past

Chapter 329: The Primarch's Past

A yellowish liquid flows in a special glass tube containing anesthetic.

Curze looked at the liquid and recalled what Fulgrim had said about Angron's past...

Angron was knocked unconscious by an anesthetic, then kidnapped by mortals and made a slave. He was sent to the arena to meet Qin Xia, who was also knocked unconscious by an anesthetic and made a slave. This was how Angron met his adoptive father.

Curze could still remember his conversation with Fulgrim.

"Maybe the anesthetic on that planet is indeed magical, but if it were me, I would have a hundred ways to counter it. Even if I can't counter it, I can still escape at a very fast speed before the anesthetic spreads in the air."

Koz said so.

Fulgrim replied: "Perhaps. But I cannot say for sure. After all, I have not experienced the anesthesia."

Recalling this, Koz deliberately moved his hand on Qin Xia's neck.

Qin Xia immediately crushed the glass tube, and the liquid anesthetic splashed out, vaporized and diffused in the air.

Angron immediately sat down on the ground.

Qin Xia also sat on the ground.

Koz rushed dozens of meters at an extremely fast speed in the blink of an eye and headed straight for the library door.

Qin Xia, sitting cross-legged in meditation, was ready to use his spiritual power to resist the effects of the anesthetic. He concentrated with all his might, focusing on using his spiritual power to fight the numbness that was gradually engulfing his body.

After fighting for less than a minute, Qin Xia's head drooped, and he fell asleep with a snoring sound.

Angron then fell asleep as well.

Koz looked back at the two of them, a sneer appeared on his face, he turned his head and looked towards the library door to speed up.

He thought that he would hang Qin Xia and Angron up, and then prove that he was stronger than both of them, and that the two of them really had nothing that could deal with him.

While thinking about what to do next, Koz ran a few steps and then fell to the ground naturally and smoothly. He slid two meters on the ground and lost consciousness before his head hit the door.

Time passes minute by minute.

The only sounds in the library were Qin Xia and Angron's snoring.

The two sitting on the ground were fast asleep.

A person was lying on the ground, sleeping peacefully.

This situation lasted for about two hours, after which Angron suddenly woke up, quickly stood up from the ground, first observed Koz and saw that he still showed no signs of waking up, then immediately walked to his adoptive father.

Angron shook Qin Xia vigorously, and the latter gradually woke up.

"Where's Koz?" Qin Xia looked around and finally found Koz with his head against the gate not far away. "Don't mention it, this guy can run quite fast."

Angron walked up to Curze.

Koz's eyes were open at this time, but this obviously did not mean that he woke up faster than others, because his eyes were blurry and hazy, like a person who was in a deep sleep.

Koz regained a little consciousness at this time, and this little consciousness allowed him to instinctively drive one eye to look around.

His eyes trembled and moved slightly, locking onto Angron.

Then he looked at Qin Xia standing beside him.

Koz watched unconsciously.

"Bro thinks he is the king of Naima."

Koz heard Qin Xia say this, and heard Angron laughing because of this.

He now had no way of analyzing all the information in front of him. Only when he woke up completely would he be able to recall what he saw and heard at this moment in bits and pieces.

Angron reached out a hand and grabbed Curze's left leg, dragging him away from the library's door and into the huge chandelier in the center of the library.

The warm light of the stars shone on Coze, and the foot-deep water-like light cast by the chandelier "flooded" him.

Coz was like lying in water, water made of light.

Angron crouched down, reached out his hand, and placed it on Curze's head.

He can sense the inner thoughts of others without making contact, but if he senses while making contact, he can sense more deeply.

Koz closed his only moving eye, and his whole body sank infinitely in consciousness, sinking into darkness.

……

open one's eyes.

Curze found himself in the shadows, on top of a building in the slums, looking down at everything below.

After climbing out of the amniotic fluid tank, Curze learned through observation and interrogation that this was a world called Nostramo.

Nostramo is known as the Star of Eternal Night.

On the surface of a planet with an unfriendly environment, humans built several cities and lived in them.

Ninety-nine percent of the people here have never seen the sun since the day they were born, and they don’t know what the sun is. The locals use the cold astronomical term "star" to refer to the largest celestial body in the galaxy.

Because the stars never brought light to Nostramo, the Nostramo people did not praise the stars in their own system as people in worlds that could enjoy sunlight did.

As for the Nostraman, Curze had also observed it.

The Nostramo had pale skin and dull eyes.

The people here seem to want to vent the depression and sorrow brought to them by the living environment on their fellow humans, and they commit all kinds of sensational evil deeds.

No one can control the Nostramo people, because even the rulers who can control them are huge gangs that started out as evil and developed through unscrupulous enslavement and bullying of their own kind.

But from now on, someone will keep the Nostramo in check.

And the one that Koz is watching is the one who needs to be disciplined.

A young man holding a dagger blocked a girl of the same age as himself, and kept approaching and threatening her.

When a robbery and murder was about to happen, Koz jumped up from the sky, pierced the young man's chest with both hands, and took out his heart.

"Why do you do this?" Koz looked at his own actions and wondered.

"For justice," Curze answered himself, "for order."

Driven by his innate simple sense of justice, Koz leaped down and ripped out the criminal's heart.

He just couldn't bear to see evil people doing evil and getting away with it.

The villains on Nostramo are like fish in the sea. Big fish eat small fish, big villains eat small villains, and small villains eat those who are evil but not completely evil. Those at the bottom of society and the lowest end of the food chain are not those without wealth, but those who are not evil.

Curze crushed his heart, looked at the trembling girl in front of him, turned away silently, and disappeared in the blink of an eye. In this way, Curze observed and killed in a city in Nostramo, and punished every evil he saw driven by his innate sense of justice.

As he observed, he gradually became disappointed with human nature and became more and more extreme.

If a thief is seen by Koz, he will be executed cleanly.

However, Koz didn't know his name. No one gave him a name. He named himself Midnight Haunter according to local culture and his own ideas.

This kind of life lasted for a while.

One day, Koz saw the girl he had once saved being raped by evil people again. He immediately appeared and killed all the evil people in the room in two seconds.

The ghost stretched out his hand towards the girl in front of him.

The girl fell to the ground.

Then a group of people rushed into the room and fired at Koz, and then were torn in half one by one by Koz in a flash.

Only then did Koz realize that he came here not to rescue the girl he had rescued before, but to step into a trap... From the girl's terrified and guilty eyes, he realized that he had been sold by this man to a gang that wanted to kill him.

The abuse she suffered was just a means of making the show look real.

"beg……"

Koz pulled out her spine just as the girl uttered the first word of her plea for mercy.

The Night Haunter left the room and slinked into the darkness, continuing his killing spree.

Some time passed.

It has been a long time since he left the amniotic fluid chamber, and Koz has been tormented by his innate ability for a long time, which is prophecy.

He could see into the extremely long future in the midst of near-epileptic pain, and most of the future he saw was dark, heavy and painful.

Curze began to try to avoid the painful future he had predicted, and tried many times, but to no avail.

While being driven by his innate sense of justice to punish evil, Curze gradually realized his way to change Nostramo - killing and terror.

By gradually punishing the wicked, we can arouse their fear. The wicked will not change their nature, but will regulate their behavior under the pressure of fear.

Kill all the minions of a criminal organization, then kill the management, until all the members of a criminal organization are wiped out.

When this kind of thing happened more and more, fear spread across Nostramo. Everyone knew the name of the Midnight Haunter, and everyone was afraid of his methods.

The number of evil deeds began to decrease.

Until one day, when Curze was carrying out his routine slaughter of criminals, he saw a young criminal. The criminal did not try to attack the Night Haunter, but gave up resistance out of fear.

At this time, Coates saw two futures.

The first is that he lets the criminal go, the criminal is reformed, and then he and Curze work together to punish crime on the planet.

The second is that the criminal picks up a weapon and injures the demigod when he is not paying attention, then escapes. Later, because of this experience, he is regarded as a super ruthless person, and is praised and worshipped by other criminals. He then hurts thousands of people before being found by the Night Haunter and killed.

Koz simply obliterates the criminal.

What followed was a long period of killing and intimidation.

The methods are becoming more and more brutal.

The fear-mongering is becoming more widespread.

The crime rate is getting lower and lower.

Until one day the Emperor came.

Curze saw the future of the Emperor and his brothers and screamed in agony until the Emperor used his psionic powers to ease his pain.

Curze relived his past, and felt himself rising from the abyss of consciousness. He finally opened his eyes and saw Angron touching him.

"You are about to be driven crazy by the prophecy." Angron frowned, sensing Coze's biggest problem.

Curze's powerful predictive ability brought him a tragic future that he could not accept.

The worst thing is that Koz tried to change the future, but failed. He became more and more certain that the future he saw would definitely come true.

"You are driven by your innate sense of justice to punish crimes, but the people you meet are not good people. You are disappointed with humanity, but you are driven by your innate sense of justice to punish crimes."

"You also don't know how to get along well with others. Fulgrim led you into battle. The Emperor wanted you to learn from him, but you learned nothing."

"Anyway, if you want to seek help, you shouldn't hide on my adoptive father's warship and spy on him. You should stand up and ask for help openly."

Angron sensed and pointed out Curze's problem.

"You also killed the saboteurs on Pompeii 1," Qin Xia said. "Anyway, you helped, but you should have come to me after helping and told me what you did. That way you would be thanked and be treated as a guest of honor in the Nuceria galaxy, instead of falling to the ground like you are now."

Koz's eyes moved between Qin Xia and Angron without saying a word.

"It was Fulgrim who asked you to come to me. He said I could solve your problem, but you didn't believe it." Angron saw the reason why Curze came here from another memory of Curze. "You didn't believe it, but you didn't refuse to come. You were driven by something that you couldn't explain and came here unwillingly."

"It's like you're driven by a sense of justice and can't turn a blind eye to the crimes at Nostramo."

"Your innate sense of justice, the pain brought by the prophecy... these two things are like the strings behind a puppet, controlling you."

Curze listened to what Angron said, thinking about how he should refute it.

But my head is still a little numb and my thinking is not as sharp as before.

After thinking for a while, Koz said coldly: "I am not driven or controlled by anything... I am tortured by them."

“That’s about right.” Angron nodded. “So you came to Nuceria against your will. You didn’t want to come, you didn’t trust me, but you came anyway. Do you know why?”

Koz shook his head.

Angron was right. Curze himself knew that he came here for no reason and did not believe that Angron could solve his problem as Fulgrim said.

Those problems had tormented him for a long time... Angron should not, and was not qualified to, solve them through another innate ability.

“Your subconscious is asking me for help, so you came here,” Angron said. “Your nature, your subconscious, or another less cruel personality, wants to ask me for help.”

"Things that are lurking inside of you that are still keeping you going and not pushing you to end your life, things that you don't even know you have, are crying out for help."

“Yearning to be rescued.”

"That's why you came to me with the 11th Legion and helped me solve the trouble on Pompeii I. And when we met, you pretended to attack my adoptive father. This was a poor way for your gloomy personality to hide your inner request for help."

None of what Angron said seemed true to Curze.

But in the eyes of Qin Xia who was watching, who between Curze and Angron understood the heart of the Primarch named Curze better? The answer was obviously the latter.
