Warhammer: Angron Training Manual
Chapter 342 Golden Human
Chapter 342 Golden Human
……
A transport ship jumped out of the subspace and entered the real universe.
Brown stood on the hangar deck, looking at the quadrant from behind the energy membrane that isolated the harsh environment of the void, and gave a few instructions.
"If you see Angron, tell him that I have used the ancient potion found in the Forge Engine to transform those men back into human form."
"That potion can't turn them back to what they were before being transformed by the aliens, but it can fuse any existing human gene sample with the potion to turn them into a certain type of existing human."
"I used a genetic sample from Nuwei alone."
The Quadrant listened in silence.
Brown paused, and continued, "I actually wanted to turn them into Nucerias, but they were transformed by the aliens to be too ugly and have many genetic defects, causing them to forget the true appearance of their ancestors generation after generation. They imagined what their ancestors looked like based on the appearance of the Emperor who appeared in their dreams."
"So, at their strong request, I used the genes of Nuwei alone."
"That's all. You go to the starport, and I'll go to the engine forging."
After saying that, Brown slowly walked out of the energy membrane and stood on the edge of the hangar deck, bathing in the dazzling light released by the red star of Nukeria.
Quadrant nodded silently and headed to the link point of the transport ship that was sailing towards the starport.
Brown jumped up outside the hangar deck. He did not feel any discomfort when entering the void as he did not take any transport vehicle.
The synthetic human named Stone Man was originally designed to replace humans to enter the most dangerous places, explore, and work, so the void environment alone cannot cause any discomfort to the Stone Man.
Then Brown drifted in the void, looking at the casting engine far in the distance in front of him, and then raised his hand wearing the ancient relic ring.
The ancient relic that once belonged to the High Knight once blasted open the wall of the city of Desia. Now, it was used by Brown to release shock waves, propelling himself to accelerate in the void.
Only after getting close to the casting engine did Brown cling to the hull, just like the first time he came to this huge ship, and then seep into the giant ship like water seeping into sand.
The infiltration location chosen by Brown was exactly where Qin Xia was.
As the stone man solidified from the floor, Qin Xia was observing the other collections left by Codico.
But he was just watching for fun, because there were many things that Qin Xia didn't recognize at all, and didn't know their value, let alone the collection principles used.
It was not until Brown came and with the help of this ancient expert that Qin Xia finally saw hope of understanding the relics of Caudricourt.
"Is anyone still alive?" Brown said what Qin Xia mentioned in the communication he sent him, and started searching in the collection room, and then saw the little people in the bottles locked in the collection cabinet.
The stone man immediately walked forward and looked at several individuals from his creator group.
"I communicated with one of them using ideographic characters." Qin Xia came to Brown's side and looked at the little people in the bottle who were looking at them in confusion. "I guess my mother tongue has evolved too many times over thousands of years. I only recognize a few of the words he wrote on his clothes with blood. I can barely piece together a sentence."
Then Qin Xia repeated the two sentences said by the little man in the bottle.
One sentence was to ask Qin Xia to help find the switch.
The other sentence was to tell Qin Xia to be careful of Kodiko who had been killed, and not to let this madman catch him.
"The Federation doesn't even have a common language. I guess the ideograms he uses are not the language evolved from your native language, but a dialect." Brown said as he squatted down and reached out his hand to touch the display case a few times, as if looking for something.
"Can you break this display case?" Qin Xia's hands glowed, "and then release these people. I've wanted to do this for a long time, but I'm worried about causing bad consequences."
"Fortunately, I didn't do that." Brown studied the display case. "This is a miniature world, equivalent to a reality that has been stolen and compressed. If it is shattered by external forces, it may release energy no less than a supernova explosion. By then, the entire Nukeria galaxy may be in danger."
"Using the energy equivalent to a supernova explosion to compress a world and use it as a display case?" Qin Xia looked helpless. "Were the ancient people crazy or ignorant?"
Brown shook his head slightly. "Even in the pre-space age of the human race, there were some technologies that were extremely dangerous if they got out of control, but they became safe after adding various safety conditions and technologies... I don't know what means I can use to break the display case."
Qin Xia was relieved.
Brown groped around for a while, then lay down and felt around on the platform under the display case.
The control interface popped up.
"Fortunately, this display case is not insurance-grade, otherwise these people would never get out." Brown entered some numbers on the control interface. "Federal law stipulates that non-insurance-grade micro-reality display cases must have a universal password. This was originally a federal high-ranking official's plan to make his son's insurance-grade display case company a lot of money... but now it's convenient for us."
After a crisp sound, the display case naturally rose up, and a transparent thing on it that looked like glass but was definitely not glass slowly unfolded.
When the display cabinet that isolated the external space was unfolded, Qin Xia saw that the display cabinet was naturally extended and enlarged many times, as if it had changed from a waist-high pillar to a cylindrical display stand. Even the space of the collection room was naturally extended, so that the extended display cabinet still maintained the same floor space ratio in the room as before.
The bottle has been enlarged many times in proportion, and like the person inside it, it no longer looks like a miniature toy.
Brown stretched out his index finger and drew a circle on the bottle, then opened a hole in the bottle.
People who looked exactly like Codiko walked out and spoke in a manner that Qin Xia couldn't understand and in words that he couldn't hear. Seeing how excited they were, they must be expressing their gratitude.
"Their appearance has only been forcibly Codexed, but their genes are still normal." Brown took out the remaining gene therapy drug from his pocket. "They are luckier than those who live under the enslavement of aliens who are good at biotechnology." Qin Xia stood with his hands behind his back, silently watching Brown inject the drug into the five people one by one.
Then those five people gradually returned to normal and became normal human beings.
Totally normal human beings.
They are not as sturdy and dark as the people of Nuceria, nor are they like the people of Numata, whose looks and figures are like carefully designed works of art and whose skin is as white as jade.
It is exactly the same as the normal appearance of humans in Qin Xia’s memory—that is, the appearance of humans before the space age.
As for their genes...
Qin Xia's eyes flashed with spiritual energy as he observed the genes of these five people from a microscopic level.
Great difference.
Their genetic fragments are completely inconsistent with those of modern humans and people in the pre-space age, which means that their only appearance is similar to that of people in the pre-space age when humans had not yet left the earth, and this difference is deliberately preserved.
Even the genes of these five people are inconsistent with each other, there are huge differences.
The differences are great enough to cause reproductive isolation, thus declaring that all five of them are not the same species.
But they are still the same species, because Qin Xia saw that one of their gene fragments was like the embodiment of the concept of "human race", which played a role of forced anchoring, so that there would be no reproductive isolation between the five of them and modern humans.
Qin Xia estimated that perhaps humans in the golden age would use laws to stipulate that biotechnology must be endowed with a genetic fragment that anchors the concept of "human race", thereby avoiding reproductive isolation among humans, completely dividing them, and fundamentally believing that they do not belong to the same species.
But extensive genetic modification also brings benefits.
These golden humans have different physiological structures at the visceral level. Their metabolic rates are variable, and each organ seems to have self-awareness and can actively regulate itself without relying on the brain.
Their physiological state is always maintained at the best and most stable state. At the same time, after these people use genetic drugs to repair their appearance, their internal organs change in a very short time, allowing them to re-adapt to a body that looks completely different from before.
After seeing everything about the golden human's physical condition, the white spiritual energy in Qin Xia's eyes dissipated.
After returning to normal, the five people spoke as before, but what they said could be automatically converted into the language Qin Xia was most familiar with, and they communicated without any language barriers.
"That madman Kodiko locked up the Union Marines on the colonial ship and tortured them to death. We, the higher-ranking people, were made into his collections and became as ugly as he was."
"We don't even know why he did this. What's the benefit of offending the Federation... But to be honest, none of us are surprised, because that lunatic can't even solve the deformity problem that can be solved with a needle. What's in his deformed big head is something that normal people like us will never be able to figure out."
"..."
Qin Xia heard these five people complaining about Kodiko. He didn't want to talk about a dead person, so he took the initiative to interrupt and talk about other things: "Are you federal personnel? Officers? Bureaucrats?"
"Archaeologist," the blonde said, pointing at herself.
"Ship engineer." The man who wrote ideographic words in blood to communicate with Qin Xia pointed at himself.
"Tourists." The remaining three people said in unison, "We saw that freak Caudico at the Baileys Corona Starport, took a second look, and then we woke up in the bottle."
Qin Xia looked at the man who claimed to be an engineer and said, "You are the one who maintains the colony ship, right? You used to work for Caudico? You maintain the ship with his weird clones called Engineer Caudico?"
"No, I'm the only one who maintains the ship. Coadick spent a lot of money to dig me out from the Federal Navy." The engineer spread his hands and said.
"You maintain such a large ship by yourself?" Qin Xia squinted at the engineer, "I don't see any stone men or iron men on the ship..."
The engineer was a little confused and blinked his eyes, seeming to have no idea why Qin Xia would question this matter.
"He's enough to maintain the colony ship." Brown whispered, "In those days, it didn't take too many people to maintain a ship, after all, there were professional equipment."
"Oh." Qin Xia nodded slowly, and then wanted to ask something else.
But these few people who had just escaped from the sea of suffering obviously did not want to chat with the unknown transformed man and his stone servant in front of them.
"Can you send us to a planet under the jurisdiction of the Federation?" The engineer stepped forward and bowed. "Then we will repay your kindness with everything we have... Or we can find a planet nearby with a civilized world that has a bank that accepts deposits and withdrawals of universal currency, and then we will repay you first..."
The three tourists and the archaeologist all nodded vigorously and agreed.
The female archaeologist also said that her father was the governor of a planet and was willing to come here with anything Qin Xia wanted.
It was even stated that Qin Xia should be a transformation worker in a world ruled by a certain company. If Qin Xia was willing, he could directly pay off his labor debt and then give him a large sum of money.
Qin Xia listened silently to the words of the five golden humans, then looked at Brown: "Activate psychologist mode... and have a good talk with them."
Brown nodded silently.
Qin Xia turned and walked out of the collection room and waited in the corridor outside.
