Warhammer: Angron Training Manual
Chapter 451 The Lost
Chapter 451 The Lost
……
On a certain planet.
The spherical red beast crawls in the desert, finds a tumbleweed and eats it with its sharp fangs.
At this time, two green light beams appeared out of thin air on the sand on the right. After the green light beams turned into mottled spots of light, the beast turned its head and saw two tall humans appear in its field of vision.
"Skog?" Perturabo grasped the plump beast and held it before his eyes for a closer look.
The Primarch exerted a slight force with his hand, and the flesh and blood of the beast named Squig splattered.
After a little thought, Perturabo was sure that this desert planet belonged to the greenskins' sphere of influence and was definitely controlled by a group of greenskins. He and Angron were sent here by Gusa's fart spirit using teleportation technology.
"Why doesn't Qin Xia just distort the teleportation energy of that fart spirit and teleport us back to the transport plane?"
Perturabo turned and walked towards his brother.
"He definitely doesn't want you anymore!"
"Now we are surrounded and we don't even know where we are. We don't even know if we can survive."
"..."
As the Lord of Iron continued to complain, Angron shuddered and fell to the desert.
Perturabo quickly shut up and went forward to investigate.
Just now, when Angron tried to cut the teleporter of the green-skinned Custodians, he was slashed back, and hot blood was flowing out of the horrific wound.
But this wound was not fatal to the Primarch, and Perturabo saw flesh and blood growing in his brother's abdomen.
But Angron was injured not only by the knife, but also by the energy shock generated by the explosion of the teleporter.
"brother……"
Angron fell to the ground, holding out his hand.
"Hang in there, bro."
Perturabo grasped the hand his brother offered him and surveyed his surroundings for a place where he could find shelter.
Angron shook off Perturabo's hand, reached to his waist and pulled out a square box, then opened the lid, took out a potion and thrust it hard into the wound.
The potion was rapidly repairing the Primarch's wounds.
The blood stopped flowing, the wound healed itself and formed a scab, and eventually even the scab fell off, leaving the skin that had been torn apart by the greenskin guards even more delicate than when Angron had just climbed out of the amniotic fluid tank.
"Nuceria technology." Perturabo offered his shoulder to help his brother up.
But Angron fell again.
"I was shocked."
"It feels like... it feels like there's a deafening WAAAGH sound in my ears."
Perturabo lifted his brother's eyelids to check, then leaned close to his ear to listen.
He could actually hear the WAAAGH sound, but to Perturabo it sounded as thin as a thread.
The Lord of Steel habitually wondered what the principle was, but after realizing the absurd nature of the greenskin technology, he felt that his thinking was meaningless.
Angron could not leave.
Perturabo looked around, looking for something to help his brother get around, and complained, "Why doesn't Qin Xia..."
"That's WAAAGH energy! My father was lucky enough not to teleport us directly to the greenskins' lair!" Angron interrupted and complained angrily, "If you hadn't pointed your gun at Gusa, we could have waited for my adoptive father to send us out of Goron together!"
"Why did you want to cause trouble? I don't understand. That's what you do sometimes. You make trouble out of nothing and end up in jail."
Perhaps due to the dizziness caused by the WAAAGH energy explosion, Angron now seemed very irritable and uncomfortable.
The speech doesn't sound good either.
"When we first met, you insisted on looking for trouble. As a result, you got yourself into trouble and forced me to knock you to the ground and humiliate you."
“It’s the same this time.”
"You were even greener than the greenskins at that time. You took advantage of the opportunity to kill that oversized greenskin, and then pointed your gun at Gusa who had no intention of killing us. You act like a conscienceless conspirator!"
"..."
Perturabo suddenly rushed forward and tried to kick Angron, but failed in the end. He gathered the cables behind his head in annoyance and continued to search for something useful in silence.
At this moment, a roar suddenly sounded.
Perturabo looked in the direction of the sound and saw a green convoy heading towards him.
The greenskins were shouting in the wrecked vehicle, and it was obvious that they had a clear goal.
As it was unclear how the other side discovered him, Perturabo had no choice but to stand in front of his brothers and prepare for battle.
Three tanks with black smoke coming out of their tails approached without slowing down.
Perturabo stood directly in the path of a chariot, and as the chariot was about to collide with him, he rushed forward with his shoulder.
"WAAAAGH!" The green guy in the car screamed, as if he felt excited.
The moment the chariot collided with the original body, the body of the chariot suddenly stopped and shattered, with parts flying everywhere.
The other two chariots stopped immediately upon seeing this, and the green men on the chariots looked at Perturabo with blank eyes.
The Lord of Steel raised his arms, and weapons were embedded on his black power armor. The moment he fired, a torrential rain of shrapnel flew out, penetrating the tank's armor plate and shooting all the greenskins into pieces that splashed out of the lathe.
"It seems that the technological level of the greenskins on this planet is not very good." Perturabo turned around and carried his brother on his back, found a chariot in good condition, and then tied his brother to the hood of the rear of the chariot with an iron chain.
After tugging hard at the raised part of Angron's armor to make sure it was fixed well, Perturabo sat in the chariot's cab, tore the cab open with his hands to make more space, and then modified the chariot's driving device himself to ensure that it fit the size of his hands.
“I urge you not to do that,” Angron said from behind the car.
"Shut up." Perturabo snorted.
The engine started and the car exploded.
At the moment of the explosion, Perturabo had already jumped out of the car, and then I looked at my brother...
Angron, who was tied to the hood, was lifted into the air along with the charred hood below him. After spinning several times in the air, he crashed into a sand dune several dozen meters away.
Perturabo ran over quickly.
Angron rolled along with the hood on the dune slope and saw a cliff at the end of the dune slope and quicksand below the cliff.
Fortunately, Perturabo arrived just in time when the chain was about to fall into the cliff, reached out and grabbed the chain on the dirt slope, then looked at his brother with an apologetic look. Angron's face turned pale.
……
"I also took a special look at the chariot's engines and found that although they were broken, they were in good working condition."
"It won't explode anyway."
Perturabo walked across the desert.
An iron chain bound Angron to Perturabo's back.
"Feel sorry."
After a few sophistry, Perturabo suddenly fell silent, and then apologized bluntly.
Angron remained silent.
Perturabo always felt uneasy about his brother's silence. He knew that Angron had a mind-reading ability that was still growing, while he himself could not even observe other people's expressions.
This leads to anxiety.
Fortunately, Angron quickly spoke up: "There is nothing to apologize for, but you do need to apologize, but not for this."
"What is that about?" Perturabo asked as he carried his brother up a sand dune.
"You know." Angron sensed his brother's heart.
Perturabo slowed down.
After hesitating for a long time, he finally spoke.
"We went to Olympia together, and then I took my sister with me, and then I left without saying goodbye... because I felt that if I stayed with you for too long, I would get rusty... just like a piece of steel corroded and rusted."
"I thought so when I first met you."
"After that, my sister always told me that I'm not a piece of steel at all. Why should a human being worry about rusting?"
Speaking of this, Perturabo was a little depressed.
“It took me a long time to think about it.”
"Thinking about whether I want to become a piece of steel or a human being."
"Eventually I realized that if I wanted to become a real piece of steel, I would need to kill everyone who cared about me and who I cared about, and I couldn't do that, so I had to choose the second path."
Hearing this, Angron began to think.
Perturabo reveals that he has made such a choice, and according to his adoptive father, Perturabo would have made the same choice under normal circumstances. He would have strangled his sister, slaughtered Olympia, and finally fallen into complete chaos.
So when Perturabo left without saying goodbye, Angron was very worried that he would make another cruel decision and then go down a path of no return.
But now it seems that although Perturabo did make a choice, his choice was not a cold and dark one.
"I have long been corrupted by you," Perturabo said suddenly.
“No, brother.” Angron shook his head slightly. “If you were truly a good material for steel, you would not be corroded.”
Perturabo immediately looked displeased, but said nothing.
It was not until a moment later that he nodded quietly, acknowledging that what his brother said was true.
Just like when he spent a long time thinking about the problem and finally made a decision, admitting that he could never become steel, the only option was to accept and reconcile.
After another moment of silence, Perturabo shook his head helplessly: "I'm sorry."
“You should say sorry.” Angron loosened the chain around his waist to make himself more comfortable, then turned around and asked his brother who was carrying him on his back, “Will you dare to be so stubborn again in the future?”
"No." Perturabo wanted to use anger to get away with it, but then he thought, he had already said this...
"Then you will not use cruel methods to manage your offspring."
"No... Now I try to be tolerant when facing Dantioch, but sometimes I feel sorry for them. After all, I always said that I was strong inside and out, but in the end I was the least strong one."
"Perturabo, repent."
"You're almost done..."
Perturabo gradually stopped.
The Primarch's deep gaze spanned several kilometers and saw that at the end of the flat desert ahead was a greenskin tribe.
A large number of greenskins are fighting in the tribe.
When the Primarch's gaze fell on them, a beast dressed as a wizard among the greenskins suddenly pointed in the direction of the Primarch.
"We are going to fight." Perturabo turned around and looked at his brother on his back.
"Find a place to put me down. I can't hold you back." Angron pointed to the leeward slope not far away.
"No, brother." Perturabo lowered his body and looked at the greenskins that were sweeping over him. "I will never abandon you to some unknown place and let you fend for yourself."
Angron tapped Perturabo’s helmet. “I don’t want to be your shield. Find a safe place to put me.”
Perturabo then turned around and walked to the leeward side of the slope, dug a hole, prepared to put his brothers in the hole and then bury them. He only needed to fight around the hole to prevent the greenskins from digging his brothers out of the ground.
The Primarch will not be suffocated to death... Angron has not yet recovered and cannot fight. This method is what Perturabo believes is the safest solution.
But when Perturabo was about to do this, the outline of a warship suddenly appeared in the sky.
Then a row of flashes appeared beside the two Primarchs.
It was a row of Space Marines who had used teleportation technology to reach the surface of the planet.
These space warriors are dressed in grey armor and look quite majestic.
Angron subconsciously sensed every person he saw, and in his perception, the leading Space Marine was as warm as sunlight.
Just like Onomamos.
"Your Highnesses." The leading Space Marine immediately stepped forward and saluted. "Our ships are heading to the Ullanor front, the Goron region that has been breached. Not long ago, an astropath sent us your location coordinates, so we are here to pick you up."
"What are we waiting for?" Perturabo walked over with Angron on his back. "Hurry and teleport us back to the battleship!"
"Yes." The leading Space Marine saluted again.
Everyone was teleported out of the surface.
