Chapter 499: Death of the Emperor
"Save Abaddon!"

The Luna Wolves rushed forward, lifted Abaddon and ran backwards.

They made their way through the snow and wind and returned to the landing point in the blink of an eye.

The pharmacist, who was already prepared, immediately treated Abaddon.

Qin Xia naturally agreed and opened the portal.

Loken put on his helmet and stepped into the portal.

It seems like two different worlds inside and outside the snow.

On one side was the command deck of the Colossus command vehicle, where only the muffled sounds of equipment could be heard, while on the other side was the chaotic interior of the palace.

Space Marines wearing armor of different colors fought side by side, clearing out the most dangerous invisible assassins in the palace.

The portal was located near Lorgar, and when Loken saw the Word Bearers Primarch, Lorgar motioned to Loken to follow him.

Leading many Space Marines, Lorgar fought his way to the emperor's location.

The emperor was lying on the medical bed and had regained consciousness and the ability to speak.

The other Space Marines shot the remaining enemies present, while Lorgar raised his hand and blasted the Emperor with psychic lightning.

Locke witnessed it all.

In the future, the story that would always be told countless times at Torgaddon's urging was born at this moment - "I saw Lorgar kill the Emperor."

Qin Xia also witnessed all this through his psychic vision.

With the arrival of the assembled Space Marine Legions, Qin Xia no longer needed to do anything.

He turned to look at Cyjanus. "I believe the Primarchs and Legions that will follow Angron in the Great Crusade have already gathered in Nuceria."

Cyjanus could tell that the Lord of the White Knights wanted to set off back to the World Eaters: "Thank you again for everything you have done for us."

"I'll be careful." Sejanus saluted.

Qin Xia smiled and nodded.
