Chapter 42 Wild Dog
On the third floor, four Yanbian men were holding their bowls and slurping noodles. After they agreed, Li You untied them. Four unarmed killers posed no threat to him.

Moreover, he believed in the credibility of the four men. They were the kind of people who would get the job done even if they died after receiving the money.

"Longda," Li You ordered, "Go find them a dormitory and let them live there first."

Long Da looked at the four people suspiciously, but still responded to Li You's words, "No problem, President."

When Long Da was busy, Li You sat beside him and said, "You are all old Yanbian people. How many of you know those smugglers?"

Wang Wu patted his chest and wiped the oil off his hands. "Then the boss has asked the right person. We know too many of them. Which snakehead do you want to ask?"

"There's a guy named Mian," Li You lit up a cigarette, "Do you know him?"

"Mian?" Wang Wu thought for a moment, then turned to look at Lao Mao, "Do you have any impression?"

Lao Mao licked the bowl clean, then raised his head and said, "Yes, it's Mian Zhenghe, the dog seller."

"Oh!" Lao Liu shouted, "I remember now, the boss wants to hear about him?"

Li You leaned back and crossed his legs. "Tell me about Mian Zhenghe."

"Ah - this guy is a ruthless person," Lao Liu said, gesturing with his hands. "I heard that he was imprisoned in Yanbian for more than ten years. After he was released a few years ago, he started to mix with the underworld again. On the surface, he opened a mahjong parlor, but behind the scenes he was doing the work of smuggling people."

Lao Mao added, "He asked us to kill someone before, but we didn't accept."

"Yes," Lao Liu spitted, "Then I went on to say that I heard that this guy raised a large group of dogs in the backyard of the mahjong hall, so people on the street called him the dog seller Mian Zhenghe."

Looking at the expectant eyes around him, Lao Liu spread his hands and said, "That's all I know. Don't look at me."

"Shit." Wang Wu slapped him on the back of the head. "Where's Lao Mao? Do you know anything else?"

Lao Mao thought for a while, "There's not much else to know. I only know that he was imprisoned because he maimed many people. His method of smuggling was also very special. He charged more money than others but guaranteed to send them to South Korea."

"And he's a good fighter," the youngest skinny guy added. "I heard from my uncle that this guy wasn't called a dog seller, but a mad dog. He didn't care about his life when he fought. He was very ruthless to himself, so no one wanted to deal with him."

Li You had an idea in his mind. The current Mian Zhenghe was not the Mian Zhenghe who would control all the smuggling business many years later, but his ambition was already visible. He opened and closed the lid of his lighter. "Where does Mian Zhenghe usually send people? Is it Busan?"

He wanted to ascertain Mian Zhenghe's current progress. Although he knew the plot of "The Yellow Sea", that was a story several years later. Mian Zhenghe would come to Korea in person several years later, and perhaps he would be able to benefit from it. But now he was far away in Yanbian, and he was still a small shrimp, so it was not appropriate for him to interfere in the affairs over there.

"I don't know. No one knows his smuggling route. Anyway, his route is indeed very reliable." Lao Mao praised him, "It is said that it is so."

Seeing Long Da coming out of the elevator, Li You stood up and said, "You guys should settle down with Long Da first. You can go to the nearby nightclubs and dance halls to have fun. Just don't cause any trouble. I won't charge you any money."

"Boss, take care!" Wang Wu smiled. "Call us if you have any problems. We guarantee that we will handle them cleanly!"

Li You walked downstairs while answering the call. Park Junmo's voice soon came over, "Li You?"

"It's me, Junmo." Li You sat in the driver's seat and closed the door. "What's wrong?"

“Have you heard about the Wild Dog Company in Seocho-gu, Gangnam, Gangnam recently?”

"Stray dogs?" Li You didn't care at first. "Is it a small group?"

"No," Park Junmo said in a serious voice, "It was Cho Chang-sik who called me. Isn't he demoted to the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office now?" "Yes," Li You sat in the car, waiting for Park Junmo to explain the reason, "Does the mob have anything to do with him?"

"That's not someone he hired casually. It seems to be a force supported by outsiders in Seoul." The volume on the other end of the phone became lower, as if someone was passing by. "He said that a minister prosecutor under his command who is in the same faction as the current president seems to be colluding with them. He wants you to help investigate."

Li You narrowed his eyes. "These Western Eight guys only choose to support forces in the two districts of Jiangnan? What does he want me to investigate?"

"He is now the senior prosecutor of the entire Southern Prosecutor's Office, two levels higher than the Minister of Prosecutor. Do you still need me to investigate him?"

"You want to find something to hold against me?"

"I don't understand this," Park Junmo sighed, "but it should be that he wants you to go to the prosecutor's office and talk to him in detail."

"Prosecutor's Office?" Li You laughed out loud. "Damn it. Did Zhao Changzhi leave his brain in the Supreme Prosecutor's Office? You want me, a person from Jiangnan Industrial, to go to the Prosecutor's Office?"

"He might be trying to use you to test the Minister Prosecutor," Park Junmo reminded him, "I rejected him on the phone, but I guess he might come to you himself. You should pay more attention to him and don't get tricked."

Li You breathed a sigh of relief, "I understand, Junmo brother."

After hanging up the phone, Xu Zhonglie knocked on the window outside the car. Li You opened the window, "Xu Ge?"

"Someone is causing trouble. They are from Seocho next door." Xu Zhonglie said concisely, "I have tied them up in the gym. I am waiting for you to deal with them."

Li You raised his eyebrows, "Stray dog?"

Although he was a little surprised why Li You knew about a security company that had just emerged in the next district, Xu Zhonglie did not ask too much. He switched seats with Li You and drove him to the boxing gym.

Gangnam in Seoul is actually the name of two areas. One is Gangnam District in Seoul, and the other is Seocho District in Seoul. Seocho District was separated from the former Gangnam District.

Gangnam Industry's current power is not great, it only occupies the entire Gangnam District. There are a large number of Europeans and Americans living in the neighboring Seocho District, so even if Gangnam Industry has established a firm foothold in Gangnam District, it has not extended its influence there. But obviously someone is now eyeing Seocho District and also Gangnam District.

In the boxing gym, two men who were beaten black and blue were kneeling on the ground rubbing their hands, as if rubbing hands was the most common way of begging for mercy that Li You had ever seen.

"Bastards!" An employee with blood on the corner of his mouth swung an iron rod and hit them.

"What the hell, are you coming to Jiangnan District to cause trouble?"

The door of the boxing gym opened, and they watched Li You and Xu Zhonglie come in, and stood aside obediently.

Li You looked at the two guys and turned to ask the employee next to him, "Are they from Seocho District?"

"Yes, but they have always been tactful and would not come to Jiangnan District."

“The accents of these two people don’t sound like they are from Seoul.”

"Where are you from?" Li You looked at the two people who lowered their heads and kept silent. "You don't want to tell me?"

"Give it to me." Li You took the iron rod from the employee and lifted up one of their heads. "Are you sure you don't want to tell me?"

The two who dared not reveal their origins still kept their mouths tightly shut.
