Chapter 435 Shipment to Puerto Rico
Chapter 435 Shipment to Puerto Rico
"The final transaction time is 1:00 PM EST, Vieques, Puerto Rico, Runway 3."
"Okay," Jeon Yo-hwan gave him a thumbs-up, "Shall we go?"
"The president sent us a pilot," said Jeon Yo-hwan, Kang In-gu and a group of people walking on this simple airport, "He is the ace of the Surinamese Air Force."
Jiang Renjiu complimented, "After your words of admonishment, he finally took action."
Jeon Yo-hwan smiled, and Kang In-gu walked to the plane's boarding stairs, turned around and said goodbye, "I will complete the transaction successfully and return with a large bundle of money."
After saying that, he nodded and was about to step forward, but was stopped by Jeon Yo-hwan, "Mr. Jiang, stay here with me."
"Hmm?" Jiang Renjiu turned his back to them and couldn't control his expression for a moment, "Why?"
When Kang In-gu turned around, he also saw the expression of 'Byeon Ki-tae' behind Jeon Yo-hwan.
"I have something else to discuss with you in detail. It would be better if Deacon Li could go to Puerto Rico." Jeon Yo-hwan pointed at Lee Sang-jun.
"Yes, Reverend."
"Pastor Jeon, you know this is not in line with business etiquette," Jiang Renjiu sighed, "I should deliver the things over, this is the traditional Korean style."
Jeon Yo-hwan narrowed his eyes and nodded, "That makes sense. Should I go with you?"
Jiang Renjiu realized that he was too impatient. He shook his head and said, "It's so tiring. Then let's go together?"
Jeon Yo-hwan ignored the conversation and said, "I'll be back soon anyway, why did you insist on making this trip? Why don't you stay and drink soju with me?"
Jiang Renjiu hesitated for a moment and tried hard to find a reason in his mind, but he couldn't find a good one.
"But I'm not sure if President Gu will agree."
"Does everything require his consent?" Jeon Yo-hwan looked at him.
Jiang Renjiu nodded. He looked at the expressionless Jeon Yohwan and waved his hand helplessly, "Okay, I'll give him a call."
Looking at his back as he walked to a distance to make a phone call, Jeon Yo-hwan looked suspicious.
After making the call, Cui Changhao frowned. He had already arrived at the Vieques Airport in Puerto Rico. "Master Jiang, you have to come here no matter what. Take a civil aviation flight immediately. How can a key party to the contract not come?"
"Anyway, I probably won't be able to get through today. You guys finish the transaction first, and I'll see what happens." Jiang Renjiu kicked the pebbles on the ground.
"That won't do. Should I talk to Pastor Quan alone?"
"It's not easy now," Jiang Renjiu looked back, "The pastor and the deacon discussed this separately."
"Okay, then I'll call you when the deal is over," Cui Changhao reminded, "Did you hear me?"
"Okay, you've worked hard."
After watching the plane take off, Kang In-gu stuffed his suitcase back into the trunk of the car, and got into a car with Jeon Yo-hwan to return to the manor.
'Byeon Ki-tae' was driving with music playing in the car.
Jeon Yo-hwan looked at the silent Kang In-gu and asked, "Mr. Kang, do you feel sorry that you can't go?"
"No," Jiang Renjiu pursed his lips, "I'm just a little disappointed. They also prepared a pool party."
Jeon Yo-hwan chuckled, "Mr. Kang, the issue right now isn't the pool party."
He stopped talking to Kang In-gu and looked at Byeon Ki-tae who was driving. "Missionary, what are you doing? Now comes the climax."
Bian Jitai quickly responded by turning up the music in the car.
Jeon Yo-hwan sang along with the music in the car and was in a very good mood, while the other two were a little absent-minded.
After hanging up the phone, Choi Chang-ho reluctantly smiled at the bearded man in front of him and came to the NIS staff who were setting up the scene. "Kang In-gu can't come. Jeon Yo-hwan won't let him come."
"Won't Jeon Yao-hwan notice anything?" Wang Shi-hyun asked.
"If he noticed something, he wouldn't let the plane go," Choi Chang-ho said, his hands on his hips. "He's probably just being cautious. Lee Sang-jun will come over to replace Kang In-gu."
"What if there's no cocaine on the plane?" another NIA official said, "What if he deceived Kang In-gu and put fake cocaine on the plane to test our reaction?"
Cui Changhao thought about it and shook his head. "Rather than thinking about these things, we must first ensure Jiang Renjiu's safety."
He thought about it for a long time and finally decided to ask Kinmen for help.
Cui Changhao poured himself a glass of water first. He was exhausted from making phone calls one after another. "Minister An," Cui Changhao called An Sangjiu, "We may need to add an additional task."
"Please tell me," An Shangjiu sat in the office and said calmly, "What's the difficult matter?"
"I have shared intelligence with you before," Choi Chang-ho said, "You were originally scheduled to be responsible for the southeast side of Jeon Yo-hwan's manor, but one of our civilian informants failed to come out. You will carry out the rescue when action is needed."
An Sang-gu had a smile on his face, "It's no problem, Team Leader Cui, don't worry."
An hour later, the pilot on the plane started calling.
"Boarding number 113-25, I am the Red Shield, a Salvation Army transport plane, requesting entry into Puerto Rican airspace."
The plane soon entered Puerto Rico.
The tower shared the information with the DEA and the CIA.
"The tower has cleared us to land, and we are expected to arrive in 15 minutes."
The bearded man took off his headphones, looked at Cui Changhao, and nodded.
In the Suriname Manor, 'Byeon Ki-tae' was grilling meat, and Jiang Renjiu stood in front of him with a heavy expression on his face.
"Why did Jeon Yo-hwan let me stay? Did he notice something?"
"I feel like he's holding you hostage, but I don't know his real intentions," Byeon Gi-tae said. "I'll try to create the right opportunity, and when I give you the signal, you'll flee to the U.S. Embassy."
"That's not what I'm talking about," Jiang Renjiu lowered his voice, "If Jeon Yo-hwan finds out, this operation will fail again."
"We'll take care of this. Take care of your own life first."
"I'm worried that the battle I risked my life for will fail. What if Jeon Yo-hwan finds out and runs away?" Jeon Yo-hwan has seen photos of Kang In-gu's family and is afraid of retaliation. "What if he escapes to the jungle and you can't find him?"
Byeon Gi-tae flipped the grilled meat over the charcoal fire. "I won't let that happen."
"How can I trust you? If the Intelligence Agency's operation went well, I wouldn't be staying here."
"What?" Byeon Ki-tae had gotten to know Kang In-gu's nagging personality over this period of time, so he smiled helplessly.
"I'll tamper with his car so he can't escape," Jiang Renjiu rolled up his shirt sleeves, "you go divert his attention and buy me some time."
"."Byeon Jitae looked at him in surprise, "Can you handle it?"
"Please." Jiang Renjiu was a little speechless. "I have worked in a car repair shop for ten years. How could I not be able to do it?"
Just as Byeon Ki-tae was about to speak, he saw Jeon Yo-hwan approaching from behind and immediately frowned.
"What are you whispering about? I saw you guys from behind, and it seemed like you were whispering intimately. Are you getting closer?" Jeon Yo-hwan was very curious.
"What do you mean by close?" Jiang Renjiu thought quickly, "This kid is very anxious and keeps turning the barbecue. I said a few words to him, but he kept mumbling."
"What do you know?" 'Bian Jitai' was still flipping, "I roasted it according to the pastor's instructions, and this bastard kept talking."
Jiang Renjiu laughed and pointed at his movements, "The pastor asked you to roast pork like this?"
Jeon Yo-hwan took a look at Byeon Ki-tae's movements and found that he was indeed the one who taught him.
"My parents died when I was nine, and my first job was delivering pork in Majang-dong," he waved his hand. "I know much more about how to cook meat than Mr. Jiang."
Jiang Renjiu didn't expect that this would make sense. He adjusted his glasses helplessly and said, "That being said, if we roast pork like this, won't the gravy flow away?"
Byeon Gi-tae shook his head and spoke to Kang In-gu in an annoyed tone, "Stop spitting and go get the sausages, Johnsonville brand."
He wanted to create the opportunity that Jiang Renjiu just mentioned.
Jiang Renjiu understood, he nodded, "Yes, sir."
When he arrived at the parking lot, he saw a key box installed on the pillar. The keys for all the vehicles in the manor were hung here.
He picked up a key, got into the car one by one, opened the cover under the steering wheel, and cut the key ignition wires with scissors.
He was even nearly discovered by Jeon Yo-hwan's personal bodyguard Glass, but fortunately he was quick-witted and pretended to make a phone call to escape.
"Why are you so slow? It's just sausages, the meat is already cooked." Jeon Yo-hwan watched Kang In-gu walking over with two bags of sausages.
