I'm only one year old, what the hell is the counterattack system?

Chapter 463 The Mirror of Wisdom for Pure Karma!

Chapter 463 The Mirror of Wisdom for Pure Karma!

The sounds of battle erupted instantly.

On the four lotus platforms of the sixth rank, led by Arhats such as Chen Yuan and Mai Jintai, one after another Buddha's messengers rushed forward to clear away the Asuras who came one after another.

The messengers under the ancient eagle bodhisattva, such as Pindola and Rahu, displayed even greater divine power.

The pagoda in Bintoro's hand was thrown out and smashed straight into the group of Asuras. It instantly swelled thousands of times larger, reaching the sky and standing tall.

The Buddha sculptures carved layer upon layer on it opened their eyes, brandished their vajras, jumped down from the pagoda, and charged towards the Asuras.

Two or three people ganged up on and killed a Shura.

Even if their bodies are shattered by the Asura, they can reassemble themselves under the power of the pagoda.

The fighting was fierce, and blood was spilled freely.

Rahu then used his supernatural powers to transform into a ferocious beast a thousand feet tall and stomped down with one foot.

Instantly, three Asuras were trampled to pieces, their bodies shattering and blood splattering everywhere.

Chen Yuan swung his heavy sword and slashed three times in succession.

Strands of dark blue blade intent, as cold as ice, slashed down, creating three thousand-mile-long stretches of ice.

Freeze all the Asuras along the way to prevent them from joining forces to resist the divine power and will.

Zhou Guanwu, Tu Xingseng, and Yi Mu were equally unwilling to be outdone, each unleashing their supernatural powers to charge forward.

Seeing this, the Ancient Eagle Bodhisattva no longer hesitated, formed hand seals, and solemnly roared:

"The golden lotus blooms!"

The nine-tiered lotus platform beneath him burst forth with golden light, piercing straight through the blood-red clouds in the sky.

next moment.

The blood-red clouds that had been pierced were instantly pierced by beams of golden light, and the merits and vows of Buddhism poured down like mountains and seas.

Golden lotuses scattered from the radiance, hovering in the sky, revealing tiny figures sitting cross-legged among them as they bloomed.

They were all small in stature, about the size of a palm, with no hair on their heads, delicate features, and wearing small golden and red robes.

As soon as they emerged from the lotus petals, they all opened their eyes, took out wooden fish from their robes, and began to strike them silently.

When, when, when...

In an instant, the entire Vajra Realm was filled with the sound of wooden fish being struck.

"Namo Amitabha."

"Namo Amitabha."

"Namo Amitabha……"

In a childish voice, the Ancient Eagle Bodhisattva's hands moved in different hand seals, his eyes gleaming with golden light, as he unleashed another supernatural power.

"Life is fleeting and ephemeral, but the golden lotus endures forever, drawing forth calamities from all ages, and bringing down the suffering of Amitabha..."

Under the influence of the incantation, the chanting and striking of the wooden fish by the little figures sitting on golden lotuses became even louder.

Then, nine rays of light shot out from the nine-petaled golden lotuses, connecting with the nearby golden lotuses and enveloping the entire Vajra Realm like a giant net.

"Supernatural Powers - Appearances of All Buddhas and Gods!"

As soon as Gu Ying finished speaking, the golden lotuses burst forth with dazzling Buddhist merit and vow power.

Not only did it slay a group of Asuras, it also replenished the merit and vow power consumed by Chen Yuan and the others.

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva on the other side is equally impressive.

After those Asuras died, he chanted scriptures and used his supernatural powers to condense their souls and transform them into golden ghosts—like heavenly soldiers—to wage war once more.

Just then, the young monk Rakshasa in the Vajra Temple revealed a wicked smile and said:
"Two Bodhisattvas, four Arhats, and more than ten messengers. Sun Xushi really thinks highly of this old monk."

"However, the fact that you all came to the Vajra Realm just for this old monk shows that the Buddha on Mount Sumeru is not that powerful."

"It's enough to kill you!"

"haha, really?"

No sooner had he finished speaking than the young monk appeared, stepping through the air.

With each step he took, a ring of crimson divine intent emanated from his body.

With each step he took, his body swelled up a size, and as his muscles and bones writhed, two heads grew from his neck and two arms grew from each of his shoulders.

By the time he reached Gu Ying and Di Zang, he had transformed into a gigantic Asura with three heads and six arms.

Although Rakshasa's face is not as blue-faced and fanged as the other Asuras, his aura is still evil and bloodthirsty.

To be precise, he was a more evil and bloodthirsty being than those ordinary Asuras.

Not only that.

As he arrived on the battlefield, the crimson aura lingering on the corpses of the Asuras who had been slain all rushed toward him.

When it landed on him, it formed eyes—blood-red, icy eyes.

"Buddhist sect, Mount Ling, today I will ensure that you never return!"

"So that Sun Xushi will know that he will be haunted by evil thoughts after slaughtering my Vajra Temple and Vajra Realm!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a crazed smile appeared on the young monk Rakshasa's face.

A terrifying aura suddenly surged from his body, transforming into a blood-red wind that swept in all directions.

In the dim light, a huge monster with three heads and six arms could be seen emerging behind him.

It stood tall and imposing, radiating boundless ferocity and malice.

Its power was so great that it directly caused Luo Hou, Zhou Guanwu, and the others to stagger and fall.

Only Arhats like Chen Yuan and Mai Jintai, who possess lotus thrones, have the ability to resist.

"Be careful, he has mastered a new Dao principle!"

As Gu Ying and Jizang offered their warnings, they saw a completely different scene in their eyes—

Among the thousands of laws of heaven and earth, there is a newly born rudimentary law that stretches from the head of the three-headed, six-armed monster to the horizon.

It vaguely connects to the "bridge between heaven and earth" that stretches across the clouds.

From a distance, the three-headed, six-armed Asura looked like a marionette hanging from the "Bridge of Heaven and Earth".

"The power of karmic fire... no wonder he was able to defy the power of merit and vows..."

As he spoke, the Ancient Eagle Bodhisattva glanced at Ksitigarbha and whispered, "Ksitigarbha! Use that spiritual treasure! The Mirror of Pure Karma and Wisdom!"

Ksitigarbha hesitated for a moment before taking out a simple and ancient-looking mirror from his bosom.

The mirror, about a foot long, was encased in a bronze frame. The mirror surface was shiny and new, and the frame was engraved with twisted and complex patterns, which looked like a pair of eyes or the capital character "堃".

Then, Ksitigarbha raised the bronze mirror and shone it on the Rakshasa.

"The Mirror of Pure Karma and Wisdom in Stillness?!"

Rakshasa's eyes changed slightly; he had seen this acquired spiritual treasure in the scriptures of the Vajra Temple.

According to the book, the Silent Illumination Pure Karma Wisdom Mirror was cast from the pure, cold copper at the bottom of the Eight Merits Pool of Mount Ling, and it naturally possesses the effects of purification and calming the mind.

In the ancient times of Mount Ling, an ancient Buddha used the Mirror of Silent Illumination and Pure Karma to specifically purify the karmic entanglements in the minds of Buddhist disciples.

No matter how profound a monk's cultivation is, or how well-hidden his inner demons and karmic forces are, once reflected in that mirror, they have nowhere to hide.

Rakshasa never expected that the people of "Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss" would be able to refine an acquired spiritual treasure so soon after receiving the inheritance of the ancient sacred mountain.

The Mirror of Silent Illumination and Pure Karma Wisdom is still the best at restraining his karmic fire and karma!

Realizing this, Rakshasa stomped her foot and soared into the sky, attempting to evade the power of the Mirror of Pure Wisdom.

But how could Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva let him escape? With a flick of his hand, the figure of the Rakshasa appeared in the Mirror of Pure Wisdom.

The next moment, I saw the Mirror of Pure Karma and Wisdom.

At first, it was still the appearance of a three-headed, six-armed Asura, but after a breath, the figure in the mirror changed.

Beneath her blood-red skin were streaks of intertwined black and red karma, spreading across the Rakshasa's entire body like flames.

On his chest was a core formed from karmic fire, as large as a sphere, which was constantly shrinking and expanding.

In the dim light, one could still see an old figure within that heart, a mixture of red and black.

It was clearly a Rakshasa, or rather, the original form of the old monk from Vajra Temple. "Seeing karma, revealing one's true nature—it really is that old bald thief from Vajra Temple."

Upon hearing this, the Ancient Eagle Bodhisattva nodded slightly, then formed a hand seal, his eyes, hidden beneath the golden mask, turned icy cold as he stared at the figure in the sky and shouted:

"Master Fayun!"

"You are doomed today. Surrender now and come back to Mount Ling with us. Perhaps the Bodhisattva Mani Kasyapa will spare your life!"

Rakshasa glanced back, feeling the old monk's tremors within his body, and roared, "Don't even think about it!"

He knew that under the illumination of the Mirror of Pure Karma, the karmic forces within him were fluctuating and had already revealed his true nature.

Since that's the case, he simply stopped hesitating, suspended in mid-air, and waved his six arms in succession, grabbing the golden lotus flowers around him.

The small monk within was burned by karma.

In the blink of an eye, all the merits and vows were burned away by his karmic fire and transformed into his karma, making his aura even stronger.

"How brave!"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva snorted coldly, lightly patted the Mirror of Pure Karma Wisdom with his palm, and rebuked:

"Wisdom shines upon the crown of the head, subduing anger!"

“Master Fayun, as a great Buddhist monk, you could have attained Buddhahood on Vulture Peak, but your mind has been clouded by anger. Why don’t you turn back to the right path?”

He certainly didn't really want to persuade the Rakshasa to turn back; he was just trying to provoke the Rakshasa with words, to shake his mind, so that the power of the Mirror of Pure Wisdom could bewitch the Rakshasa's mind.

Rakshasa, upon hearing this, naturally understood his intentions and remained unmoved.

After he devoured all the golden lotuses around him, his power reached its peak.

The power of karma is so great that it surpasses that of the Bodhisattvas Ksitigarbha and Gu Ying, making it difficult for Buddha's messengers, such as Rahu, who are not protected by lotus thrones, to withstand it.

"That old man is truly terrifying!"

"The Red Lotus Karmic Fire is extremely evil, and it is beyond our ability to withstand with our merits and vows, unless we possess the Lotus Platform of Mount Sumeru!"

As Luo Hou, Zhou Guanwu, and the others spoke, their gazes involuntarily fell on Chen Yuan and the other Arhats, their eyes inevitably showing some greed.

The more they understood the lineage of Lingshan, the more they realized the importance of attaining a certain level of enlightenment, and their greed grew uncontrollably.

Chen Yuan noticed their gazes, but at the moment, his mind was focused on controlling the lotus platform and resisting the Rakshasa's power.

With the Bodhisattvas Ksitigarbha and Gu Ying also present, he didn't believe these Buddha messengers would dare to make a move here.

Just then, Gu Ying coldly ordered, "Everyone, step back a little."

“The monk Fayun was a powerful being in the Heavenly Immortal Realm. He had already reached the tenth level of supernatural powers in Buddhism. Now that he has fallen into the Asura Realm, his supernatural powers are even stronger than before.”

"This is far beyond your capabilities."

Upon hearing this, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva stepped forward and echoed, "You all go and clear out the other Asura afflictions in the Vajra Realm first. Leave this to me and Gu Ying."

Upon hearing this, Chen Yuan glanced at the other Arhats and then headed towards the outer circle.

Zhou Guanwu, Yimu, and Tu Xingseng exchanged a glance and followed him onto the lotus platform, leaving together.

The other Arhats did the same, each choosing a direction to slay the Asuras.

Only the messengers under the nine-rank lotus thrones, such as Rahu, remained in place to protect the two Bodhisattvas, Gu Ying and Ksitigarbha.

Seeing this, the Rakshasa in the sky did not stop them, but his three pairs of eyes intentionally or unintentionally fell on Chen Yuan.

How could it be the aura of the Six Paths of Reincarnation Sutra?
Given General Sun Xushi's greed, how could he possibly pass on this scripture to others?

Or……

Before Luocha could even look, he saw Gu Ying draw a golden longsword and charge towards him.

"Today, your Vajra Realm will surely be destroyed!"

"Death!"

As Rakshasa looked over, his six arms instantly materialized into six blood-red weapons.

Swords, maces, halberds, shields, and fans were wielded and hurled wildly at the ancient eagle.

However, just as his supernatural power spread, he felt his mind and spirit momentarily lose control.

He immediately realized something was wrong, but at that moment, Gu Ying had already charged in front of him with a golden longsword, and he could only watch helplessly as the sword pierced his chest.

Without further thought, Rakshasa gritted her teeth and continued to wield her weapon, repelling the ancient eagle before flashing towards the ground to attack.

The wound on his chest healed completely in the blink of an eye.

Gu Ying, of course, would not let him go, and pursued him relentlessly with his long sword in hand.

"Ksitigarbha!"

Without Gu Ying's prompting, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva once again used the Mirror of Pure Karma and Wisdom. He had previously used this acquired spiritual treasure to make Rakshasa lose his composure, which led to Gu Ying piercing his body with a sword.

Ksitigarbha miscalculated.

The Mirror of Pure Wisdom and Light of Tranquility is powerful, but its effectiveness is limited if the Rakshasas are on guard.

Especially now that Rakshasa has devoured the surrounding golden lotuses and the karma of the dead Asuras, even if he is pierced through the heart by Gu Ying's sword, he can recover by using the power of karma.

Therefore, when the Rakshasa attacked, he was completely unaffected by the Mirror of Pure Wisdom and directly slashed down with his sword.

The karma instantly transformed into streaks of black and red flames, which fell like bolts of lightning onto the head of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

"Even with the Mirror of Pure Karma and Wisdom of Tranquility, what good is the acquired Lingbao (Spiritual Treasure)?"

"My current state is all due to the Buddhas of Mount Ling. We are burdened by karma, and aren't you all the same?!"

With a roar, the crimson lotus flames instantly enveloped the area around Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

Although it wasn't scorching hot, it caused the merit and vows on the lotus platform beneath him to hiss and bubble up with holes.

"not good!"

Without giving it much thought, Ksitigarbha immediately ordered the lotus platform to withdraw from the range of the karmic fire.

The fire of karma can be extinguished by the power of merit and vows.

Meanwhile, the three messengers beside him each used their supernatural powers to help him dispel the karmic fire.

“Gu Ying, be careful. Karmic fire can destroy our merits and vows, which will reduce our cultivation level.”

Ksitigarbha reminded me of this, and I couldn't help but feel a little heartache.

Although he and his messengers obtained a considerable amount of merit and vow power from the Spirit Mountain Secret Realm, the fact that he had lost decades of cultivation in a single blow still pained him.

Upon hearing his words, Gu Ying did not stop moving. He brandished his longsword and engaged in a fierce battle with Rakshasa.

At the same time, he did not forget to use his charm and allure.

But at this moment, Rakshasa's mind was stable and unaffected, and he became more and more courageous in battle.

Six weapons clashed and danced, battling alongside the ancient eagle, causing the Vajra Realm to tremble uncontrollably.

Blood-red rivers fell from the sky.

The battle on this side was massive, and the same was true for Chen Yuan and his group on the other side.

Having learned how to deal with the Asuras before, the four of them were not afraid of being surrounded and attacked by the Asuras when they joined forces.

As they walked and stopped, Chen Yuanfang realized that they had already reached the location of the Vajra Temple.

Just as he was about to go around it, he suddenly felt a stirring in his mind, as if something was guiding him.

Following the guidance of his mind, Chen Yuan looked around and his gaze fell on a certain spot in the Vajra Temple.

"There……"

Upon closer examination, he suddenly realized that the reason that thing attracted him was because of the "Six Paths of Reincarnation Sutra" that he himself cultivated.

"The Sutra of the Six Paths of Reincarnation..."

Chen Yuan paused for a moment, then immediately flew towards the location of the Vajra Temple.

Zhou Guanwu and the others beside him followed suit, as did the Asuras.

They arrived in a grand procession at the Vajra Temple.

Yi Mu scanned the area and exclaimed, "This place... is filled with such heavy karma!"
