Chapter 22 Crisis
"Where is my son?"

Watching her son turn into a fox-like monster, Yun Laosan's wife forgot all about being afraid; all she wanted to know was where her son had gone.

That was her only child, her lifeblood. She would fight anyone who tried to harm him!
Unwilling to consider the possible outcome, she screamed at the monster with all her might, "Where's my son? What have you done to my son?"

Grey Fox curled his lip in disdain, too lazy to say a word, and raised his leg to stomp the woman to death.

Suddenly, a force struck, and before Gray Fox could even lower his raised leg, his body was instantly kicked away, slamming into a car five meters away with a thud. The car screeched and screech, prompting the neighbors on both sides to run out of their homes.

Meng Qi was slightly out of breath. She had used all her strength in that kick, and her leg was trembling slightly when she pulled it back.

However, even though the gray fox was kicked away and its entire body was embedded in Honda's rear, it was still clear that it was unharmed.

Not only was he alright, he became even more excited, his eyes shining as he looked at Meng Qi.

Wow, you're quite strong! No wonder you're a born immortal!

This little rascal is definitely going to eat me today.

"What happened? What's wrong? What happened to the Yun family?"

"I don't know, why is the car still making that noise?"

"Go and see?"

“I’m not going, I’m afraid of their dog.”

"I'm not going either."

The neighbors on both sides were talking about it with great curiosity. But fortunately, Big Yellow had a bad reputation, so no one went over to find out what was going on.

Meng Ziyang, who had already run far away, saw Meng Qi turn back. He stopped, looked back, gritted his teeth, and continued running.

This thing is powerful today; my aunt is no match for it. He needs to call my uncle over quickly.

He wasn't quite sure how skilled Lin Qingquan was, but these past few days he had been teaching them swordsmanship, and this morning when the little demon ambushed his aunt, he had reacted quickly and stood in front of her.

Putting everything else aside, he is certainly qualified as the biological father of my aunt.

So calling her over would definitely be helpful to her aunt.

"Son-in-law, son-in-law"

Before he even got there, Meng Ziyang shouted at the top of his lungs toward Ninth Grandfather's courtyard.

Lin Qingquan, who had just taken out the array book and was explaining it to Meng Shulan, suddenly stood up from his chair upon hearing the shout and was outside the courtyard in a flash.

"Ziyang."

"A fox. A very powerful fox, cough cough."

Because she ran too fast, Meng Ziyang hadn't even caught her breath before pointing to the intermittent opening in the east, which caused her to get a stitch and cough violently.

Lin Qingquan didn't have time to pay attention to him. He moved dozens of meters in one go. By the time Meng Ziyang reacted, his uncle was already gone.

Obediently
Your husband is so amazing!
But then he thought of the fox and his expression changed again. No, he had to help his master carry the sword.

Those things can turn into people and even talk. Who knows if the old man with only one arm can beat them?

Just in case, it's best to bring your weapons.

Thinking of this, Meng Ziyang turned around and continued running towards Ninth Grandfather's courtyard.

"Ziyang."

"Grandma, you and Ninth Master should stay home and not go anywhere."

Meng Ziyang ran to his great-aunt's bedroom, grabbed his great-uncle's sword, and ran out. Meng Shulan tried to catch him and ask what happened, but the brat was too fast, and she couldn't stop him. So Meng Shulan just ran after Meng Ziyang.

"Oh dear, grandma, don't cause trouble! Let's go home!"

Meng Ziyang didn't have time to stop; he ran while shouting behind him.

But how could Meng Shulan possibly go home? The more he acted like this, the more it meant something had happened to Xiao Qi. Otherwise, Lin Qingquan wouldn't have left so quickly.

Meng Jiu, who had followed quickly out, stopped at the main gate, frowned, and glanced eastward.

He didn't go. Although he was worried about Xiao Qi, he knew his granddaughter's abilities. If he couldn't even beat her, then he would only become a burden to her.

With Lin Qingquan there, he believed she would be alright.

Fortunately, Meng Jiu didn't go. Although Grey Fox disdained to target ordinary people, it couldn't withstand the aftershocks that followed when it got serious.

After all, she was a fox demon who had only cultivated for eight hundred years. Even without using magic, just by clashing fists with Meng Qi, by the time Lin Qingquan arrived, the Yu family's house and walls had already collapsed into ruins.

The wife of Yun Laosan, whom Mengqi wanted to save, was also buried under the collapsed kitchen behind her and disappeared without a trace.

The neighbors who had come out to watch the commotion all lay down and fell silent.
"Xiao Qi."

Seeing his daughter's pale face and blood at the corner of her mouth, Lin Qingquan rushed over with a bloodshot face.

The gray fox glanced at him and curled its lip in disdain. He was slightly better than an ordinary person, but far less delicious than this little brat.

Too lazy to waste any more time, its claws, now several times larger, accurately grabbed Lin Qingquan's neck. Just as it was about to twist his head off and stuff it into its mouth, the little cub suddenly pounced on it fiercely. The pig-slaughtering knife she was holding had transformed into a large black iron scalpel.

Because the broadsword was much longer and heavier than the butcher's knife, it was not a good match for the little girl's figure. Therefore, she took it out of her storage ring after rushing over and struggled to slash at the fox demon with both hands.

The gray fox didn't care and calmly stretched out its other claw to grab the blade.

Even with the sharpness of her butcher knife, it couldn't cut through its skin, and a new one wouldn't cut either.

However, to its surprise, when its claws touched the blade of the black iron broadsword, there was a sizzling sound, and its claws split apart.

The claw was split in two, and the blade was embedded in its arm.

In other words, Xiao Qi wasn't strong enough; if she had, Gray Fox would have lost that arm.

A look of surprise flashed in the gray fox's eyes. It withdrew its arm, released Lin Qingquan, and took two steps back.

"Interesting. Little girl, I'll take this knife."

The gray fox could easily see how much effort the little girl, who was only a few years old, was putting into holding the knife. It didn't care that her claws were split, and after standing still for only a second, it pounced on Meng Qi with a ferocious grin.

"Xiao Qi."

"Little Aunt."

Meng Shulan and Meng Ziyang, who had just run over, hadn't even had time to stand properly when they saw a huge gray fox baring its teeth and claws and pouncing on Xiao Qi. The two of them couldn't help but exclaim in surprise at the same time.

Lin Qingquan, who was closer, got up without thinking and pounced on the gray fox. He forgot about the suffocating feeling he had just experienced when the fox grabbed him. Nothing else mattered; what mattered was that his daughter had to live.

But Lin Qingquan was not as fast as Grey Fox. Before he could even get close, Grey Fox kicked him away without even blinking.

In despair, the gray, furry paw reached for the daughter's head, but just as it was about to touch Xiao Qi, a bright light suddenly shot out from her forehead!
At that moment, the world seemed to stand still.

The gray fox remained pouncing towards Xiao Qi in mid-air, but Xiao Qi was enveloped by a soft light, followed by a voice from above her head: "How dare a little fox demon act so presumptuously here? Shatter!"

Good afternoon!
