Chapter 23

"Hey, what's going on? Is this guy a fool?" A wealthy businessman shook his head, his face full of disdain and confusion. His eyes revealed a kind of contempt, as if he was watching a joke.

"Don't doubt it, he must be stupid. He dared to cut our food donation. What else could he be but stupid?" Another wealthy businessman echoed, with a sneer on his face. They sat in the lobby of Qiankun Restaurant, waiting for Li Qingge to arrive, but in their hearts they had already regarded her as an insignificant waste.

"We were all ready to fight him, but he made the decision on his own." A businessman shook his head, his face full of reluctance. They had originally planned to use this opportunity to put pressure on the court and gain more benefits. However, the appearance of Li Qingge disrupted their plan.

"Tsk tsk! You are the number one loser in the world!" A wealthy businessman sneered, his voice full of sarcasm and contempt. He picked up the wine glass and took a sip, as if celebrating Li Qingge's stupidity.

There was constant laughter in the hall, and everyone regarded Li Qingge as a fighter among the useless. They talked about it and laughed at Li Qingge's stupidity and ignorance. However, they didn't know that this seemingly useless guy was about to do something earth-shattering.

Outside the restaurant, there was a lot of noise. Hearing that the Cheng family and the wealthy businessmen had gathered here to discuss how to raise money for disaster relief, crowds of onlookers came in. They looked at this gorgeous restaurant curiously and discussed what was going on inside.

"There is a serious flood in Jiangnan, and the people are having a hard time. They are negotiating with the wealthy businessmen to ask for some money and food for disaster relief." An old man stroked his beard and said solemnly. His eyes revealed a kind of worry and concern, and he was obviously very concerned about the disaster in Jiangnan.

"I see! Such a big deal cannot be settled in a short time." A young man nodded, his eyes flashing with excitement and curiosity. He was obviously full of expectations and curiosity about this negotiation.

"Maybe the wealthy businessmen treat this as a battlefield, bargaining for three days and three nights." A middle-aged man shook his head, his eyes revealing a kind of helplessness and emotion. He obviously has a deep understanding of the cunning and greed of the wealthy businessmen.

"I'd like to see how he gets food out of those shrewd wealthy businessmen." A young woman chuckled, her eyes flashing with anticipation and curiosity. She was obviously full of curiosity and expectation about Li Qingge's ability.

The onlookers were extremely excited. Although they could not see what was going on inside, they had already imagined several big battles in their minds. They imagined how Li Qingge would fight wits and courage with the wealthy businessmen and how he would cleverly get them to donate food. However, they did not know that the result of this negotiation would be beyond their expectations.

Not long after, the door opened and Li Qingge walked out slowly with her hands behind her back. Her steps were calm and elegant, as if she was taking a stroll. Her eyes revealed a kind of confidence and calmness, as if she had already mastered the overall situation.

"What's going on? Didn't the negotiation take a long time? How come it was over so quickly?" A bystander asked in surprise. His eyes were full of confusion and puzzlement, and he was obviously surprised by Li Qingge's speed.

"Who can tell me what's going on here?" Another bystander shook his head, looking confused. He was obviously confused and puzzled by the outcome of the negotiation.

Li Qingge walked to the end of the street calmly and disappeared in the blink of an eye. The crowd was immediately in an uproar, talking about it. They speculated about Li Qingge's identity and background, and why she was able to end the negotiations so quickly.

"What's going on? Are the negotiations over?" A wealthy businessman came out and said smugly. His eyes revealed a kind of contempt and complacency, as if he had already won.

"His father was a military commander. He probably used force to subdue the wealthy merchants and made them afraid to bargain." A bystander speculated. His eyes flashed with respect and admiration, and he was obviously aware of the reputation of Li Qingge's father.

"Yes, yes, that's for sure!" another onlooker chimed in. They all nodded in praise, expressing their recognition and appreciation for Li Qingge's abilities.

However, at this moment, the door opened again, and the wealthy businessmen came out one by one with smug faces, as if they had made a great profit. Their faces were filled with smug smiles, as if they had won a victory.

"We met such a fool. We were prepared to give him less, but he cut it in half." A wealthy businessman said with a smile. His eyes revealed a kind of contempt and complacency, as if he had regarded Li Qingge as an insignificant waste.

"I've never seen anyone so stupid," another wealthy businessman chimed in. Their laughter was full of mockery and contempt, as if they had already won.

However, the onlookers were stunned, staring at each other, and were so surprised that they could not speak. They originally thought that Li Qingge was a negotiating expert who could solve the problem quickly. However, now it seems that she is a fighter among wastes.

"Oh! I was wrong. I thought he could create a miracle. It only took half an incense stick of time to get rich merchants to donate grain. It's a joke!" A bystander shook his head and sighed. His eyes were full of disappointment and helplessness, and he was obviously disappointed with Li Qingge's performance.

"The emperor is really a fool. Why would he give such an important task to a useless person? The people of Jiangnan are so unlucky." Another onlooker echoed. Their tone was full of dissatisfaction and complaints, and they were obviously dissatisfied with the court's decision.

In Chang'an, curses were heard everywhere, and even the imperial court was shaken. When the officials heard the news, they were shocked: How could they achieve such little results in half an incense stick of time? Isn't this a crime of deceiving the emperor? How could they escape? They discussed Li Qingge's performance and the decision of the imperial court, and were shocked and puzzled by the result of the negotiation.

What about Li Qingge at this time? She had already arrived at her own thousand-acre farmland, looking at the rolling wheat waves and the crops growing well, and said with a smile: "It's almost time! In two days, we can harvest, and the predicament in Jiangnan will be solved." Her eyes revealed a kind of confidence and calmness, as if she had already mastered the overall situation.

As for those wealthy businessmen? Li Qingge just sneered and didn't take them seriously at all. She went back to Cheng's house, lay down on the bed and went to sleep. Things were done, she had to conserve her energy. In her dream, she was playing chess with Zhou Gong. Her mood was peaceful and tranquil, as if she had transcended the worldly disturbances and noise. She knew that she was about to create a miracle that would shock and amaze everyone.

The next morning, the sun shone through the clouds like a thread, gently falling on the magnificent palace of the imperial palace. The golden light and the glazed tiles complemented each other, making it look particularly solemn and mysterious. Every brick and tile of the palace seemed to be telling the vicissitudes of history and the majesty of imperial power.

"Your Majesty, we have found out that Lord Cheng has only received half of the grain. This amount is far too little and cannot solve the urgent problem of the flood in the south of the Yangtze River at all!" A minister knelt on the ground with an anxious look on his face, his hands clenched into fists, as if trying to grasp the last glimmer of hope.

"Your Majesty, you have to look into this matter carefully. Lord Cheng may have been negligent in his duty. We have to replace him with a capable person to take charge of this matter." Another minister followed closely, with a hint of urgency and pleading in his voice.

"Yes! If this continues, the people in Jiangnan will probably be disheartened." Another minister added, his eyes filled with worry and uneasiness.

A group of ministers knelt on the ground, their faces full of anxiety and grief, completely unable to control their emotions. Although Cheng Wu was Cheng Yaojin's son, in the face of national affairs, personal face had to be put aside. They knew that the flood in the south of the Yangtze River could not be delayed, and every moment of delay could mean more lives were lost.

When Li Shimin heard this, he couldn't help but frown, but soon narrowed his eyes and smiled. His mind was like a mirror, and he knew everything very well. He knew Li Qingge's ability and wisdom, and believed that she would never fail in her duty like this.

"Why do you think Cheng Qing only received half of the grain? He has thousands of acres of fertile land at home and plenty of grain. Why does he need to beg those wealthy businessmen? He is just going through the motions and doesn't take those businessmen seriously at all. In that case, what do I have to worry about?" Li Shimin's voice was calm and confident.

"Mr. Cheng must have his own plans in mind. Now is not the time to draw a conclusion. Please be patient." He continued to comfort the ministers, his tone revealing an unquestionable majesty.

"Let's not mention this matter anymore, so as not to add pressure to Cheng Qing. Let's adjourn the court." Li Shimin smiled and waved his hand, turned and entered the inner palace, leaving all the civil and military officials in the court looking at each other in disbelief.

"Your Majesty didn't blame him?" a minister murmured to himself, his eyes full of confusion.

"How strange! If it were someone else, he would have been severely punished. Why is Your Majesty so lenient with him?" Another minister also shook his head, expressing his confusion.

"Your Majesty is not a fool. He must have a deep meaning behind this." An old minister said after pondering for a moment, with wisdom flashing in his eyes.

The ministers were shocked. They all knew that Li Shimin was a wise monarch who would never tolerate such dereliction of duty. But he had no intention of punishing Li Qingge and even prohibited others from investigating. They couldn't understand why and were filled with doubts and puzzlement.

"Could this kid be your Majesty's illegitimate child?" Suspicion was everywhere, and the ministers shook their heads and sighed, feeling worried for the people of Jiangnan. They knew the severity of the flood and understood that any delay could lead to irreparable losses.

In the blink of an eye, three days passed. Rumors were flying around Chang'an, saying that Li Qingge was incompetent. The ministers gathered together and vowed to get to the bottom of this matter, even if it would anger the emperor. They knew their responsibilities and missions, and understood that the safety of the people in Jiangnan was more important than anything else.

However, at this time, Li Qingge had quietly arrived at the palace. She was wearing a simple blue shirt and a simple long sword at her waist, which made her look heroic and feminine. Her eyes revealed a kind of firmness and confidence, as if she had made full preparations.

She called several carriages and stopped them beside her thousand acres of fertile land. Then she asked the drivers to take a break and went into the fields. Standing on a high place and looking around, she saw a golden field. The harvest scene made her overjoyed, and her heart was filled with joy and expectation.

"I was not disappointed. The harvest this year is so good!" she murmured to herself, with excitement flashing in her eyes.

"It's a pity that there aren't enough carriages. Let's collect some first." She shook her head, feeling a little regretful. But she knew that this was enough because her plan didn't require all the food.

After saying that, she took a deep breath and took out a mythical beast named "Heavenly Palace Old Bull" from the system's storage compartment. As soon as she threw her hand, the old bull turned into a black dragon, roaring in the air. The sound was deafening, as if it could penetrate the clouds.

"What's that sound?" The guards in the palace looked up at the sky, their eyes full of confusion and fear.

"It's like thunder but no rain." A guard muttered to himself, trying to find a reasonable explanation.

"It's strange! It sounds like a beast roaring. Is Lord Cheng okay?" Another guard also shook his head, expressing confusion.

"It would be our wish if that loser were in danger. In this way, the people of Jiangnan might be able to live in greater peace." Some guards who were dissatisfied with Li Qingge sneered. They did not care about her safety, but only about their own interests and status.

However, Li Qingge ignored their sarcasm. She concentrated on controlling the old cow of Tiangong. As soon as she thought about it, the old cow began to harvest. It soared into the air and swooped down. As its huge mouth opened and closed, the wheat ears on the thousand acres of fertile land were uprooted and sucked into its mouth.

"Tiangong Old Bull, this harvesting artifact is really amazing!" Li Qingge was stunned and full of admiration. The old bull devoured the wheat ears as fast as a hurricane. Its stomach was not bloated at all, which showed that its capacity was unimaginable.

"This technology is amazing! I will definitely not be disappointed." A gleam of light flashed in her eyes, and she had a new idea, "I wonder if it can thresh the grain automatically? If it can, it will be more convenient."

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but raise her lips and reveal a confident smile. She knew that her plan had taken the first step towards success. Next, she only needed to wait for the right time to solve the flood problem in Jiangnan in one fell swoop. And those who had laughed at her and questioned her would also see her true strength and wisdom.

Miracle Wheat: Li Qingge's Mysterious Harvest

"Oh, now I understand. The old cow in the Heavenly Palace is really a super powerful harvesting artifact. If you use it well, you can harvest a full cart of grain in a blink of an eye." Li Qingge stood by the vast wheat field of her family, looking at the golden field, her eyes flashing with excitement. She was wearing a light blue dress, the hem of her skirt swaying gently in the wind, like a fairy walking on water.

"Since you are so powerful, what am I afraid of? Of course I have to use all my strength." She had a confident smile on her face, and her eyes were shining with determination. She waved her hand lightly, and the legendary old cow in the heavenly palace flew up from the wheat field, turned into a stream of light, and headed straight for the carriage.

Hey, how strange! When the war horses saw the old cow approaching, they didn't react at all, as if they didn't see it. They just stood there quietly, snorting, occasionally wagging their tails, as if they didn't care about anything in this world.

What's going on? Li Qingge was stunned for a moment, then suddenly realized. It turned out that no one except herself could see the old cow in the Heavenly Palace. No wonder the old cow flew in the sky like a dragon, but the guards didn't notice it at all. She was secretly delighted in her heart, this secret was her treasure.

Then, something even more magical happened! The old cow in the heavenly palace swelled its belly and slowly spit out wheat, just like a modern harvester. In the blink of an eye, the carriage was filled to the brim. The golden wheat grains shone with an attractive luster in the sun, as if each grain contained the vitality of life.

Soon, all the food was put into the car. The old cow was still hovering in the air, and it seemed that it had not had enough. It seemed to be proud of its magical ability. Li Qingge looked at this scene and felt inexplicably moved. She knew that this old cow was her right-hand man.

What was the reason? Li Qingge understood after a little thought. The harvest was so good this time that it must be more than a thousand pounds and a car couldn't fit it all. She smiled and shook her head, but her heart was filled with satisfaction and pride. She knew that her hard work had finally paid off.

"Okay, let's go back first, I'll get a few more cars." Li Qingge smiled and waved his hand. Lao Niu seemed to understand and turned into a wisp of smoke and hid in the system. The speed of the action was dazzling.

Then, Li Qingge walked leisurely to the guards. The guards were hiding in the shade of the trees, all of them looked unhappy and grumbled. They were wearing armor and holding spears. They should be majestic warriors, but now they looked like a group of women complaining about the unfairness of life.

"I didn't expect that His Majesty would ask us to come here to collect some imaginary food. Where can we get the food in this remote place?" a guard said indignantly.

"Mr. Cheng was probably deceived by a wealthy businessman. He tricked us into coming here, but in the end we got nothing." Another guard chimed in. Their tone was full of dissatisfaction and complaints, as if the world owed them something.

"It's a waste of time. What bad luck." After saying that, several people even spat on the ground with disdain on their faces. Their behavior was just like a group of ordinary people venting their dissatisfaction.

"Master Cheng?" Suddenly someone saw Li Qingge coming and stood up in a hurry. The other guards also stood up quickly, although they were still unconvinced. They looked at Li Qingge with disdain and doubt, as if to say: "What ability does this kid have? It's just because his father is a military commander that His Majesty favors him."

Li Qingge looked at them and couldn't help laughing in her heart. She knew what they were thinking, but she didn't care. Because she knew that she had the strength to prove everything.

"Go get some more food, bring a few more carts, and double the quantity." Li Qingge instructed with a smile. Her tone was full of confidence and calmness, as if everything was under her control.

"It's still the same as before. Park the car where I said, and you can go back and rest." She continued. Her voice was soft and firm, making people irresistible.

"Master Cheng, are you kidding? There's not even a trace of a wealthy businessman in this damn place, where does the food come from?" A guard couldn't help laughing, but he was cursing in his heart. His eyes were full of doubt and ridicule, as if to say: "This kid is talking nonsense, where does the food come from?"

Li Qingge looked at them and could not help but feel angry. But she did not flare up. She just frowned and said coldly, "Stop talking nonsense and go!" Her voice revealed an unquestionable majesty that was irresistible.

"Yes!" Although the guards were confused, they still did not dare to disobey the order. They looked at each other, sighed and left. Along the way, they kept muttering, as if to say: "This kid said there is food, if there is really, it would be a strange thing."

However, when they returned to the original place and looked around, they were all stunned. Their eyes were as big as copper bells, and they were breathless. They saw that the carriage was full of golden wheat, with the fragrance of new wheat. The fragrance was refreshing. What was going on? The guards were full of confusion and shock. They looked at each other, as if saying: "If someone transported so much food, how big a team would it take? How could it be filled so quickly?"

"Brother, this is too weird. Did the rich businessman come from another road? There are no tracks on the ground." A guard said in a trembling voice. His voice was full of fear and confusion, as if he had encountered something incredible.

"Could this guy really be a deity?" another guard muttered to himself. His eyes were filled with awe and worship, as if he had really met a deity.

When the word "immortal" was mentioned, the guards were so frightened that their legs went limp and they almost knelt down before Li Qingge. They were filled with shock and awe, as if they had really witnessed a miracle.

However, despite their admiration, they still hurried to drive to Chang'an City. They knew that this miraculous harvest would cause a sensation in the entire Chang'an City. And Li Qingge would also become the focus of everyone's attention.

The people on the street were also stunned when they saw this scene. They stopped to watch and were amazed. They had never seen such a spectacular sight, nor had they ever thought that there would be such a magical harvest. They were full of admiration and worship for Li Qingge, as if she was really a fairy who could create miracles.

This morning, the sun shone through the sparse clouds and sprinkled on the busy streets, covering this ancient city with a golden coat. Ordinary people walked out of their homes with curiosity and expectation on their faces. They heard that a wealthy businessman was going to deliver grain here, and they all wanted to see with their own eyes how much grain there was and whether it could alleviate the urgent need for floods in the south of the Yangtze River.

On the streets, people were talking about this, and discontent was spreading among the crowd. "I just saw the convoy heading towards the wilderness. Is this a joke? Where can we get food in the wilderness?" an old man in coarse clothes asked in confusion.

"Maybe the handover place is in the wilderness, but Li Qingge is a weird guy. He didn't hand over in a proper place, but chose a wasteland. There must be something fishy." A young man next to him echoed, his eyes revealing some dissatisfaction and suspicion.

"Could it be that he wants to enrich himself? If that's the case, it's no wonder that God doesn't tolerate him." A woman interrupted, her tone filled with indignation and helplessness.

"Haha, he's a waste to begin with, no wonder he did such a wicked thing." A street vendor sneered, his face full of disdain and ridicule for Li Qingge.

In a blink of an eye, all kinds of speculations were flying around, and everyone felt that there was something wrong. Li Qingge, this young official, has always been controversial. She is a woman, but she has to make her way in the officialdom, a man's world, so she is naturally bound to be discussed and questioned.

At this moment, the sound of hurried horse hooves came from afar, breaking the tranquility of the early morning. A convoy was coming from behind, raising dust and the sound of horse hooves like thunder, attracting everyone's attention.

Qian Fengtian and his group arrived with a convoy, looking at each other in surprise. They were originally here to deliver grain, but after waiting for a long time without any news, they came to see for themselves. But Li Qingge was not here, leaving only confusion and puzzlement.

"Why are the rich businessman's carriage here?" Qian Toyota asked with a frown, his eyes revealing some confusion and uneasiness.

"Didn't we agree to meet in the wilderness? Why did we end up here?" a wealthy businessman echoed, his face also full of confusion and bewilderment.

"Didn't he receive the news?" another wealthy businessman guessed, with a hint of anxiety and worry in his tone.

"This matter is really strange and confusing." Qian Toyota shook his head, and he also had doubts in his heart.

Everyone was confused and couldn't figure it out. What was this woman Li Qingge up to?

Suddenly, the sound of horse hooves rang out again, and everyone looked towards the wilderness at the same time, their eyes wide open, unable to recover for a long time. They saw a caravan coming quickly, and the driver looked excited, as if he had seen something incredible.

When they got closer, they saw that the truck was full of food. Everyone was stunned. "Is this food?" an old man asked in a trembling voice, his eyes revealing a bit of disbelief and shock.

"Why are there so many!" a young man exclaimed, his face full of surprise and joy.

"What is going on?" a woman asked doubtfully, with a hint of confusion and puzzlement in her tone.

"No one has delivered grain, so why is this cart full?" sneered a street vendor, but his smile revealed a bit of embarrassment and confusion.

"Who can explain this?" Qian Toyota asked loudly, with a hint of anxiety and dissatisfaction in his voice. As a wealthy businessman and leader in the area, he naturally could not tolerate such an inexplicable thing happening.

There was an uproar at the scene, and everyone couldn't believe their eyes. Qian Fengtian and the wealthy businessmen had clearly been waiting here with food, but they didn't expect so much food to appear. Where did this food come from? Who sent it?
Qian Toyota and the others were also stunned, unable to believe what they saw. Some of them even rubbed their eyes hard to make sure that the car was full of food. Their faces were full of surprise and confusion, as if they had seen something incredible.

"Everyone, Lord Cheng has something to say. Thank you for your generosity." At this time, a guard came over, smiled and clasped his fists to thank Qian Fengtian and the others, with a grateful expression on his face. Then he took the food and left, leaving Qian Fengtian and the wealthy businessmen with a bewildered look on their faces.

The common people suddenly realized that the food had really been delivered in the wilderness. Qian Fengtian and his men might have felt that it was not enough, so they added some more. Everyone was relieved and nodded in approval, their eyes full of comfort and joy. They finally saw hope and the possibility of alleviating the flood in Jiangnan.

However, Qian Toyota and the others were stunned, suspecting that they had heard wrongly. Li Qingge thanked everyone? But no one had handed in grain! They wanted to make some excuses, but they felt it was too embarrassing. Not having enough grain was embarrassing enough, and making further excuses would be like saying that the grain had nothing to do with them, which would definitely anger the people.

So Qian Fengtian could only smile and nod, saying nothing. But his attitude was already very clear: these grains were donated by him. The wealthy businessmen nearby all took a deep breath and frowned. They finally understood the truth: Qian Fengtian asked everyone not to donate, but he secretly donated so much grain! Isn't this pushing everyone down the path of injustice? It's too much!

Everyone rolled their eyes and looked at Qian Fengtian with dissatisfaction. They felt that this wealthy businessman was too cunning to use such means to gain fame and rewards. And the woman Li Qingge made them feel mysterious and incredible. What method did she use to make so much food appear in the wilderness?
Not long after, more guards drove more convoys to the wilderness. Apparently, there was more food to be collected. The people were so grateful that their eyes were filled with tears. They knelt down and kowtowed to express their gratitude. "The rich businessmen are really kind and righteous. They donated food to help the disaster relief. Who says the rich are unkind?" an old man said with emotion.

"We should worship them as living Buddhas!" echoed a young man, his face full of admiration and gratitude for the wealthy businessmen.

"The people of Jiangnan will always remember their kindness!" said a woman, her voice choking with emotion. However, they did not know that the food was not donated by the wealthy businessmen, but was earned by Li Qingge with her wisdom and hard work.

"Hiss!" Qian Toyota's facial muscles twitched, and he became even more confused. How could there be more food? These were not donated by him! He felt as if he was drawn into a huge whirlpool and couldn't extricate himself.

The wealthy businessmen nearby rolled their eyes. They felt that they were fooled by Qian Toyota and became his victims in his quest for fame and awards. "I see, Qian Toyota was afraid that we would steal his limelight, so he deliberately asked us to make up for the donation, and then secretly donated so much himself," said a wealthy businessman indignantly.

"By doing this, we will appear extremely stingy, while he will appear as a good man with a righteous character. He will definitely be rewarded by the emperor." Another wealthy businessman sneered, his tone full of sarcasm and dissatisfaction towards Qian Toyota.

"How cunning!" A wealthy businessman shook his head, his face full of contempt and dissatisfaction towards Qian Toyota.

"I've never seen such a shameless person!" Another wealthy businessman echoed, his tone carrying a bit of anger and helplessness. They felt that they had been cheated and wanted to kick Qian Toyota a few times.

"Everyone...you're welcome. This is what we should do." Qian Toyota forced a smile, his old face flushed with shame. He started to wonder again: Where did all this food come from? Even if he emptied the granary at home, there would be no such amount. How did Li Qingge do it?
……

The convoy continued to roll forward, with dust flying and the sound of horses' hooves. Li Qingge stood there with her hands behind her back, looking at the thousand acres of fertile land that had been harvested, with a gratified smile on her face. Her eyes revealed a bit of satisfaction and pride, as if she saw the results of her hard work and the hope of the people in the south of the Yangtze River.

"I didn't expect that these thousand acres of fertile land could have such a good harvest. It really is beyond my expectation." She said softly, with a hint of emotion and joy in her tone.

"The harvest from this piece of land is enough to provide disaster relief. There is so much food that there is no need to count it. It is several times more than in previous years." She continued, with a confident and satisfied smile on her face. She knew that her efforts were not in vain, and the people of Jiangnan finally had hope.

"The system really didn't lie to me." She nodded and sighed slightly. Then she turned her head and saw the convoy rushing towards her in the distance. Her eyes revealed a bit of expectation and determination, as if she saw the hope and light of victory in the future.

However, she frowned again, shook her head and sighed, "What a pity, the convoy is still a little short. We need more food." She knew that although there was enough food for disaster relief, there were still more people who needed help and care. She would continue to work hard to bring more hope and warmth to the people of Jiangnan.

Miracle Food: Li Qingge's Mysterious Gift

After a rough estimate, in order to fill up the grain, the carriage would have to run back and forth several times, at least three or five times. Li Qingge stood on the ridge of the field, looking at the golden wheat field, thinking in her heart. She was wearing a light blue dress, the hem of her skirt swaying gently in the wind, like a fairy walking on water. Her eyes sparkled with wisdom, as if she could see through all the mysteries of the world.

This wheat field is located in the desolate suburbs, surrounded by muddy roads, and there is no way to send more cars. I can only let these cars run a few more times, Li Qingge thought. She sighed and looked into the distance. She saw the sky was as blue as a wash, and a few white clouds floated leisurely, adding a bit of vitality to this desolate land.

Not long after, the carriages loaded with food drove towards the city gate. The wheels creaked on the muddy road, as if playing a melody for this magical journey. On the carriages, the guards held their spears tightly with serious expressions, knowing that this mission was extraordinary.

As soon as they arrived at the city gate, the common people were in an uproar, and were amazed. They gathered around the carriage, pointing and talking about it.

"Master Cheng asked us to pass on his message, thank you, Boss Qian, for your kindness!" The guards in the car bowed and said to Qian Toyota respectfully. Their voices were loud and powerful, full of respect for Qian Toyota.

Qian Toyota smiled bitterly, feeling confused. He clearly didn't donate so much food, so how could he be considered a good man? And he said he donated it himself? He scratched his head and looked at the guards blankly, as if he was watching an incomprehensible drama.

"What on earth is going on? Is there someone playing tricks?" Qian Fengtian muttered to himself. He looked at the grain on the carriage, and saw that it was bright yellow and golden, exuding an alluring aroma. The grain seemed to have magic, attracting his eyes and making him unable to look away.

The common people didn't care about all this. They all praised: "Boss Qian is such a good man! He would probably spend all his money to help us disaster victims!" Their voices were full of gratitude and admiration, as if Qian Toyota was their savior.

"He is simply a living Buddha! Let's bow to him again!" As they said this, the common people knelt down and kowtowed, tears of gratitude streaming down their faces. Their foreheads knocked against the cold ground, making a thumping sound, as if they were expressing their deepest respect to Qian Toyota.

Look at those wealthy businessmen in Jiangnan. They are so stingy that they are unwilling to donate a penny. Compared with Qian Fengtian, they are completely different. They are so jealous and hate him. They stare at Qian Fengtian with wide eyes, as if they are looking at a monster.

"Why does he get all the good things? We are the bad guys?" a wealthy businessman said indignantly. His voice was full of jealousy and dissatisfaction, as if the whole world was unfair to him.

"These shameless people have ruined our reputation!" another rich businessman cursed. His face was ashen, as if water could drip out of it. He clenched his fists, and his knuckles made a crackling sound, as if he was venting his inner anger.

"How about we donate some too?" a wealthy businessman asked tentatively. His voice was full of hesitation and uncertainty, as if he was seeking other people's opinions.

"Dream on! They are already in power, if we donate, wouldn't it be humiliating ourselves?" another rich businessman yelled. His voice was full of disdain and ridicule, as if he was looking at an idiot.

The wealthy businessmen cursed and left angrily. Their figures gradually disappeared in the crowd, leaving only waves of angry curses echoing in the air.

Just then, another carriage arrived. Qian Fengtian was so frightened that he almost fainted. He stepped back repeatedly, holding his chest, his face as pale as paper. He stared at the food on the carriage with wide eyes, as if he was looking at a terrifying monster. His heartbeat accelerated, his breathing became rapid, and he seemed like he would faint at any moment.

"Who is behind this? How could they donate so much food? There isn't that much food in stock in Chang'an!" Qian Toyota muttered to himself. His doubts grew, as if he was shrouded in a fog.

The common people didn't care about all this. They continued to praise Qian Toyota: "Boss Qian is so kind-hearted and compassionate! He sacrifices himself for others! He is truly a role model for the world!" Their voices were full of admiration and gratitude, as if Qian Toyota was their god.

"May you be safe again!" As they said this, the common people knelt down and kowtowed again. The scene was so touching, as if the whole world was moved by Qian Toyota's good deeds.

Qian Toyota's face was as pale as a piece of paper and he was almost on the verge of collapse: "It was really not donated by me! Please understand!" His voice was full of helplessness and despair, as if he was telling the whole world about his grievances.

The wealthy businessmen sneered: "Why hide it? Since you have already won the hearts of the people, why bother about what others say?" Their voices were full of sarcasm and dissatisfaction, as if they were watching a clown.

"From now on, let's go our separate ways! Let's live our own lives!" After saying this, the wealthy businessmen broke off their friendship. They turned and left, leaving Qian Fengtian standing alone. His face became even paler, and his body was trembling slightly. He felt that his world was collapsing, as if everything was about to be lost.

"Listen to me!" Qian Fengtian shouted anxiously. But the carriage came again, and the guards came to thank him again. Their voices were loud and powerful, full of respect and gratitude. But Qian Fengtian felt dizzy, as if he was hit by an invisible force.

Finally, Qian Fengtian couldn't bear it anymore, vomited blood and fell to the ground and fainted. Tears were still hanging in the corners of his eyes, and the doubts in his heart could never be solved. He lay on the cold ground, his body trembling slightly, like a helpless child.

Seeing this, the common people rushed forward to rescue him: "Mr. Qian is overworked! Send him to the hospital quickly!" Their voices were full of anxiety and concern, as if Qian Toyota was their relative.

"He sacrificed himself to save us! He is truly a saint!" an ordinary citizen said with emotion. His voice was full of admiration and gratitude, as if Qian Toyota was his lifesaver.

By the evening, all the grain had been transported. Li Qingge calculated that they had made six round trips in total, and the amount of grain transported was astonishing, enough to solve the urgent needs of Jiangnan. She stood at the city gate, looking at the carriages going away, her heart filled with satisfaction and pride. She knew that her efforts had finally paid off.

"System, give me the reward! Stop dawdling!" Li Qingge shouted eagerly. Her voice was full of anticipation and excitement, as if a child was waiting for her own gift. Her eyes sparkled, as if she had already seen the upcoming reward.
