He was talking to Yan Hao on the phone when there was a knock on the door.

The door was ajar. He looked back and saw Tan Xi standing outside the door.

"I know." Tan Xi carried the dishes to the kitchen, rolled up his sleeves and started cooking.

She turned off the fire and left the kitchen. Ji Shaoheng was no longer in the living room. The doorbell was still ringing, so she went to open the door.

Fang Sitong called out in a clear voice: "Auntie Tan."

"Come in, come in." Tan Xi stepped aside and let them enter the room. Ji Shaoheng just came down from upstairs. Fang Sitong called out "Dad" and then asked, "Where's Mommy?"

Ji Shaoheng smiled at her: "Mommy is resting upstairs."

"Then I'll go upstairs to find her." Fang Sitong broke free from Yan Hao's hand and wanted to go upstairs.

Ji Shaoheng walked down the last step: "Mommy is resting, don't disturb her."

Fang Sitong said "Oh" meekly: "Then I'll wait for her to wake up."

Tan Xi brought her some fruit and went into the kitchen to continue cooking.

Ji Shaoheng walked up to Fang Sitong, squatted down and held her shoulders, and said in a gentle voice: "Mommy is in a bad mood, you must make Mommy happy later, do you hear me?"

Fang Sitong blinked: "Why is Mommy unhappy?"

"Work stuff."

Fang Sitong said with a smile: "With me here, Mommy will definitely be happy, because I am her pistachio."

Ji Shaoheng smiled and touched her head.

Yan Hao next to him had a look of surprise on his face. A few hours ago, Ji Shaoheng called him and asked him to investigate Fang Yaqing's plagiarism incident. He wondered when the second young master started to care about Fang Yaqing's affairs.

Yan Hao was even more surprised when he heard Ji Shaoheng instructing Fang Sitong to make Fang Yaqing happy.

If it were in the past, the Second Young Master would never care about Fang Yaqing's affairs.

But now, his attitude towards Fang Yaqing seems to be different from before.

Ji Shaoheng turned on the TV for Fang Sitong, tuned to the children's program, put down the remote control and glanced at Yan Hao.

Yan Hao understood and followed him, and the two went to the balcony.
