Chapter 240: Obedient Girls Are Good

Wu Ma came out when she heard the car shut down. Seeing that the two of them were talking, she did not come forward to interrupt them. The two of them walked to the entrance, and Wu Ma took out two pairs of slippers and placed them at their feet: "Master, do you want to eat now?"

She pushed open the door of the study and walked in. Ji Jinchuan was standing in front of the window with one hand in his trouser pocket and a cigarette between the two fingers of his right hand. Outside the window was the hazy night.

Hearing her footsteps, Ji Jinchuan turned around and cast a cold gaze on her.

She was wearing a light yellow dress with a slim Korean jacket on the outside. The dress had a doll collar. Her seaweed-like curly hair was tied to one side and hung in front of her chest, which made her look more youthful and pretty. Seeing that she had been silent, Ji Jinchuan seemed a little impatient, and a stern look flashed across his dull eyes: "If there is nothing else, you can leave."

Shen Youran stared at him, a faint smile on her lips, and her nonchalant tone carried a bit of sharp sarcasm: "Didn't you ask me to come?"

His tone was slow and light, but Shen Youran heard an element of command in it. She hesitated for a moment, but still spoke.

Ji Jinchuan stretched out his long arms and held her in his arms. Shen Youran was startled by his sudden action. Her nose hit his hard chest, causing her to feel numb with pain. She almost cried.

Ji Jinchuan saw mist in her eyes and her brows were knitted together. He raised his hand and gently rubbed her slightly red nose. His tense expression relaxed: "Only obedient girls are good."

His low and gentle tone was magnetic and charming, as if he was coaxing an ignorant little girl.

The smell of mint tobacco on his body went up her nose and into her lungs, blending with her breath and becoming one with it.

There were his cold fingers on the tip of her nose, his movements were gentle as if he was afraid to hurt her, and his low and gentle voice made her deeply addicted.

She really couldn't see through this man. He was speaking coldly to her one moment, but the next moment he remained calm as if nothing had happened.

Her eyes moved up from the man's buttons, swept across his well-defined jaw, and then fell blankly on his cold face.
