Shen Youran woke up at dawn. There was no one around her. She reached out and touched the bed, but there was no warmth at all.

Shen Youran turned around and went upstairs to the study to find him. He was not there. She came out of the study just as Ji Jinchuan came out of the guest room. When they heard the door closing, they looked at each other.

There were no clothes of his in the guest room, so he was still wearing a bathrobe with a slightly open collar that revealed his sexy collarbone, and on his feet were the same pair of cotton slippers as hers.

Shen Youran approached him. She knew what the answer would be, but she couldn't help but ask, "You slept in the guest room last night?"

Ji Jinchuan said "hmm" with a gentle expression and went into the master bedroom next door. She stood at the door of the bedroom and saw him standing in front of the closet, unbuttoning his bathrobe, taking out a shirt and trousers from inside and putting them on.

She stood silently at the door, watching him tie his tie and put on his watch, his movements were neither hurried nor slow, but skillful and elegant.

After fastening his cuffs, Ji Jinchuan turned around and looked at her: "I'll apply medicine for you."

She almost subconsciously refused: "No, I will ask Aunt Wu to help me apply the medicine."

Ji Jinchuan looked at her deeply, with a hint of coldness in his indifferent eyes.

Shen Youran did not follow him downstairs. She returned to the room, picked up the coat he wore yesterday on the sofa, and threw it into the clothes basket. Then she lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling in a daze.

Aunt Wu put breakfast on the table. Seeing that Shen Youran didn't come down, she glanced towards the second floor.

Ji Jinchuan noticed her action and said calmly, "She doesn't have to go to work, let her sleep a little longer. If she hasn't come down by nine o'clock, go up and call her." He paused and continued, "Breakfast is very important, make sure she eats it."

After breakfast, Ji Jinchuan was ready to go out. Aunt Wu handed him his coat. He took it and put it on. While adjusting his clothes, he said, "Remember to apply medicine to her."

Aunt Wu escorted her to the living room and said, "Okay, Master."

Hearing the sound of a car in the courtyard, Shen Youran walked to the window in her slippers and saw Ji Jinchuan's car leaving the villa.

She stood in front of the window for a long time, until her legs were numb. Then she turned around, walked to the closet, took out her clothes, put them on, left the room and went downstairs.

Auntie Wu was mopping the floor. When she saw her coming down, she called out "Young Madam", then went into the kitchen, washed her hands, brought out breakfast and placed it on the dining table.

After breakfast, Shen Youran was about to go out, and Aunt Wu said, "Madam, you haven't applied the medicine yet."
