She nodded: "Yeah."

Ji Jinchuan took two steps forward, took Ji Nuo from her arms, walked to the baby room next door, came to the door, and then tilted his head to look at her.

Shen Youran understood, walked quickly forward, turned the door, pushed it open and moved aside. Ji Jinchuan walked in holding Ji Nuo, put him on the bed, then pulled the small quilt over him and kissed Ji Nuo on the cheek.

Ji Jinchuan turned around and saw her smile, which she had not yet retracted. Her dark eyes were calm and clear.

The two of them left the baby room one after the other, and Ji Jinchuan closed the door.

Shen Youran crossed her arms and hung them in front of her chest. She said softly, "I've heard about what happened last night from Aunt Wu. Thank you."

Aunt Sun came up and called them to eat, breaking their silence.

The two went downstairs to eat.

After a quiet meal, Shen Youran stood up to leave the restaurant. Ji Jinchuan suddenly said, "I will go to the old house less often in the future."

She looked back at him, with a hint of confusion in her eyes.

"This way you won't see her again, and you don't have to worry about anything. This will make you trust me even more." Ji Jinchuan looked at her, his dark eyes were always deep and calm. He said word by word: "If this is not enough, you can come to work in the company. I will be within your sight every day, and I will take you with me whether I am entertaining or traveling on business."
