Note 1898: Chai Yixin (1943~1943), nicknamed Reyu, courtesy name Zegao, was born in Jianxing Town, Nanbu County, a patriotic anti-Japanese general who died during the Anti-Japanese War in Changde.Chai Yixin was born in a peasant family.He studied in Hechuan Middle School in his early years, and later went to Guangdong to study in Whampoa Military Academy (Phase Five, Artillery Division).When he was at the Whampoa Military Academy, he became friendly with Li Mingke, a member of the Communist Party, and then joined the Chinese Communist Party.After graduating from the military academy, Chai was assigned to work in the Ninth Army of the National Revolutionary Army. He served successively as company, battalion, and regimental commander. In 74, he was promoted to major general chief of staff of the 57th division of the 169th army and head of the 1943th regiment. In November 11, he died in the Battle of Changde, and the National Government posthumously awarded Chai Yixin the rank of lieutenant general.
