Chapter 860 I Want You to Die of Illness
There was a clang.

Ye Jiao closed the door and locked it, then walked up to Yun Ci and asked, "How do you want me to help you?"

Yun Ci put the book aside, looked up at Ye Jiao, and said slowly: "First, help me knock Mu Chenbi unconscious, second, help me get a computer, as for the third point, I will tell you next time you come over."

Ye Jiao showed a puzzled look: "That's all?"

Yun Ci nodded: "Well, these are enough."

"Okay, you wait."

Ye Jiao turned and left the room.

This brief conversation ended.

Mu Chenbi's fever went down, then came back again, over and over again, until the third day, when his condition finally stabilized.

Early in the morning, Ye Jiao walked into Mu Chenbi's room and happened to see his subordinates holding documents and reporting to Mu Chenbi.

Mu Chenbi put on his coat, sat on the bed, covered his lips and coughed twice, his voice hoarse: "Well, let's do it this way."

The subordinate left the room with the documents. Ye Jiao walked over and put the medicine and water aside. Seeing that Mu Chenbi was coughing badly, she felt a little uneasy and said, "Why don't we ask a doctor to see you?"

Mu Chenbi shook his head, suddenly raised his eyes to look at Ye Jiao, and asked: "Did you go to see her?"

Ye Jiao's heart skipped a beat and she began to feel guilty. She knew that her lie would not escape Mu Chenbi's eyes, so she simply admitted it.

"Yes, I scolded her."

Mu Chenbi looked at Ye Jiao and didn't seem to intend to blame her. He should have guessed that she would say that. He just asked, "What is she doing?"

Ye Jiao replied unhappily: "What can she do? Eat, sleep, read, bask in the sun, and draw on paper when she's bored."

"She..." Mu Chenbi hesitated for a while, but couldn't help asking: "She didn't ask me?"

Ye Jiao shook her head.

The answer should have been expected by him. Ye Jiao agreed to Yun Ci's deal, but there was no movement for several days. Yun Ci was not anxious and continued to live his normal life every day.

A week later, I met Mu Chenbi.

Ever since he had fallen seriously ill, he had become even thinner, his face was sickly pale, and he would cough from time to time.

He walked to the bed, thought for a moment, and decided to sit down a little further away from Yun Ci, as if he was afraid of infecting her with the cold. His eyes, filled with affection, stared straight at Yun Ci.

Yun Ci was annoyed by being stared at, so he glanced at him and said coldly: "Are you here to ask me for accountability? No need to ask, I'm just torturing you."

Mu Chenbi chuckled: "I haven't said anything yet."

Yun Ci looked away and still ignored him.

Mu Chenbi smiled and asked again: "Aci, long time no see, did you miss me?"

Yun Ci replied coldly: "I actually want you to die of illness."

Mu Chenbi was still smiling, as if he had gotten used to Yun Ci's sharp tongue.

The room was silent for a few seconds, and Yun Ci said impatiently: "Why don't you leave? I want to go to bed."

"Okay." Mu Chenbi stood up and walked to Yun Ci. After a pause, he stretched out a hand and gently stroked Yun Ci's head, saying softly, "See you tomorrow."

After saying that, he turned around and walked out of the room.

Yun Ci looked at Mu Chenbi's departing back and said coldly, "See you never again."

Mu Chenbi came out of Yun Ci's room and went straight to the study. He sat down at the desk, with documents piled up like a mountain at hand.

He had just opened the file when there was a knock on the door.
