Nine divine arrows fell from the sky, and each one hit the target.But seeing nine fierce lions, they turned into nine piles of stubborn stones in an instant, lying or standing, and they were lined up on the riverside in turn.Among them, the head of the fierce lion was shot off by a god's arrow and hung in the river. The blood stained the rocks, so it was called "Chiya".Because its severed head looks like a hanging bell, and its beating is like a drum, it is also known as "Empty Ling'an".After the divine arrow shot off the lion's head, it fell into the center of the river and became Arrow Island.In order to commemorate the merits of Guanyin Bodhisattva, later generations built this temple. Although it was named "Kongling Temple", the local people called it "Guanyin Rock".
