Chapter 330

In the scene at Fengdu Ghost Street, the Bodhisattva used chains as a medium to support the officials and chief Yin gods, allowing them to fully display their power.

Back then, it was the Bodhisattva who was willing to risk everything to break through the gates of hell; the current environment does not provide for that.

Therefore, even if the three of them, Tiger Lord and his companions, have received some boosts compared to before, they are still limited by the conditions of the spirit mediums themselves. In fact, this traditional method of spirit mediumship is inherently inefficient and wasteful.

Lin Shuyou's body has been modified by the child, and with the child residing in his body, his power conversion rate has been maximized. Not to mention that both he and the child have received new improvements recently, and the "Ghost General" identity has acted as a glue.

It is no exaggeration to say that the combination of Lin Shuyou and Tong Zi has already broken through the ceiling of the official general lineage in terms of both absolute power and absolute efficiency.

It's perfectly normal for him to crush the three minor temple masters with a single move.

At least, the White Crane Boy thought it was normal.

But this time, Tongzi could clearly feel the unusual excitement coming from Ayou.

Returning home in glory is like wearing fine clothes in the dark; for Ayou, demonstrating his true strength in front of his grandfather, master, and fellow disciples is a form of affirmation of his worth.

At this moment, the youthful spirit and the boyish arrogance blended perfectly, with the White Crane True Lord's imposing aura enveloping him as he slightly raised his chin.

Within Xiao Yuan's team, he's often teased and patted on the head by his older brothers, but outside...

His vertical pupils swept over him.
Who dares to disrespect?

Ma Kuosheng immediately got up after the initial shock. His chest and face were covered in blood and gore, but the rage in his eyes remained fierce.

"Traitor, how dare you be so arrogant!"

Gao Yuanyi and Ding Jucheng also staggered to their feet. They had just taken a solid blow to the chest with a golden mace, and their chests were now visibly dented, but their expressions and attitudes showed no concern for it.

"Boy, how long do you think you can stay carefree?"

“When the officials and generals are reorganized, the first ones to be punished are traitors like you.”

At this moment, True Monarch White Crane experienced the same feeling as Lin Fu'an had before.

While the remaining Yin spirits were barely clinging to life, these three were even more lively and energetic than before, clearly indicating that they had long since pledged allegiance to that group and received their support and benefits.

But now, the three of them have the nerve to call themselves rebels.

The White Crane Boy didn't consider himself a rebel. In modern terms, he simply switched jobs, and the Bodhisattva was still around when he did.

And if we really want to be serious, the transformation from the head of the official general to the true ruler was due to Sun Baishen's guidance and approval.

Back then, between Pudu Zhenjun and Sun Boshen, the Bodhisattva personally chose Sun Boshen and recognized him as her human being.

Although everyone knows what's going on in their hearts, legally speaking, He, the White Crane True Lord, is the rightful one!
Furthermore, when he was one of them, the white crane didn't feel anything was wrong. Now that he's separated and standing opposite them, he feels more and more like he's looking at an idiot.
Could it be,

Did that boy have the same feeling when he first saw me?

When people suddenly recall embarrassing things from the past, they will awkwardly pick at their toes; God does the same.

This caused the anger in Baihe's heart to rise up even more unconsciously.

The three temple masters stood in a triangular formation, each holding a weapon and displaying their fighting stance.

This was a common sight when generals led troops into battle in the past, and it was also a common formation during temple fair parades.

The White Crane True Lord slowly twisted his neck and rotated his wrists, his pair of golden maces reflecting a dazzling luster under the candlelight.

Behind him, Lin Fu'an looked at his grandson and silently breathed a sigh of relief.

As Chen Shoumen was being carried, his clenched fists gradually loosened.

They had known for a long time that Ayou was a genius of the Guanjiangshou lineage, but they never expected that the day Ayou would stand on his own would come so soon.

In my heart, there is both pride in my child growing up and a sense of loss at having become useless.

They knew very well that even if they weren't injured, and even if all the Yin Gods were unharmed, Ah You didn't need the two old folks to come forward and help in the current situation.

The disciples of the Lin Family Temple around him looked at Lin Shuyou with admiration and longing. With the style of the chief officers and the nature of youth, it can be said that most of the young chief officers were hot-blooded and passionate.

Just as Lin Shuyou himself sometimes indulges in daydreams, he is now living a life that even the young people around him wouldn't dare to dream of.

"Buzz!" "Buzz!" "Buzz!"

Three incense sticks were lit above the heads of Ma Kuosheng and the other two, and then they collectively performed three steps of praise, their figures flashing alternately in the courtyard.

The White Crane True Lord let out a cry and leaped down.

You want to gang up on me?
Then I...

Come in by yourself!
Four figures were engaged in a rapid battle in the large courtyard.

However, facts have once again proven that in the face of absolute power, everything else pales in comparison.

Despite being the one being besieged, True Lord White Crane managed to create the impression that he was attacking three people all by himself.

Ma Kuosheng: "Don't hold back, or you won't be able to suppress Him. His spirit mediums are different from us!"

Gao Yuanyi and Ding Jucheng looked serious; they... really hadn't held back.

But it's really impossible to say such things directly, as it would only embolden others.

An opening appeared, and the three men simultaneously hurled their weapons at Baihe Zhenjun. Zhenjun blocked the attack with a single mace in one hand, and the two forces were evenly matched!

Immediately afterwards, the True Lord's smile became even more unrestrained, and as his aura surged even further, he swept his mace across with his other hand!
Ma Kuosheng and the other two were all knocked away, some smashing into pillars, others into steps.

Even though their bodies were clearly twisted and deformed, they still managed to stand up quickly.

"I'll teach you a lesson the day after tomorrow!"

"Wait until our officers and generals have reorganized!"

"Let you be arrogant for a little longer!"

Despite being defeated, they ignored the spirit medium's serious injuries and worsened his condition, all just to stand up and say something nice.

This is very much in line with the style of the Yin Gods of the past.

Ma Kuosheng and the other two pursued the interests of the temple, yet they could not change their lowly status in the eyes of the underworld gods.

White Crane True Monarch gritted his teeth and asked in a cold voice:
Did I agree to let you leave?

Ma Kuosheng: "Heh, do I need your permission?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the three incense sticks went out, and Tiger God left the spirit medium's body.

The totem between the eyebrows of the White Crane True Lord rotated and transformed into the mark of the Ghost General.

White Crane Ghost General stretched out his hand upwards, made a grasping motion, then grabbed downwards, and said in a deep voice:
"Officials in the underworld, living people stay away!"

A yellow light was captured from the sky.

The White Crane Ghost General raised his head and opened his mouth.

The yellow light was like a glass of fine wine being poured into its mouth.

No chewing is required; it automatically enters the throat, and the original Yin spirit essence is quickly transformed into ghost energy for digestion.

"call……"

With a comfortable groan, the White Crane Ghost General pointed a golden mace at the remaining two, flicked it, and indicated that it was their turn.

The Fengdu system is specifically designed to subdue all spirits and spirits in the world.

The identity of a Ghost General grants him authority over the underworld, essentially allowing him to represent the underworld in apprehending ghosts and monsters from the human realm.

No one understands what they were like in the past better than Baihe herself.

Without the Bodhisattva elevating their status, aren't these so-called Yin Gods just a group of powerful ghost kings?
have to,
This job is exactly what I'm good at!
Gao Yuanyi asked incredulously, "You swallowed Tiger Lord's part of his essence?"

Ding Jucheng: "How dare you do this?"

Of course, they cannot all descend; even if they wanted to, the spirit medium's body couldn't withstand it.

Even this part of the source, once devoured, will cause irreversible damage. How much merit would it take to repair it!

The White Crane Ghost General gave a sinister smile:
"A bunch of idiots! I personally beat you to a pulp back in Ghost Street, and you're still bringing this up with me now!"

What is this little bit of origin?
If I catch your true forms, I'll devour them all!
Hurry up!
Your time is almost up.

Gao Yuanyi and Ding Jucheng exchanged a glance. Their time was running out. Tiger Lord had just demonstrated what it meant to be separated from the body, so even if they knew they couldn't win, they had to keep fighting.

The two shouted and charged at the White Crane Ghost General again.

In the next round of combat, the two suddenly felt that the white crane opposite them had become weaker. In an instant, their confidence soared, and they realized that the opponent must also have some kind of constraint.

Bai He also noticed this: the Ghost General's identity was suitable for using magic, but not for close-quarters combat.

Fortunately, Baihe and Ayou had practiced this identity switching beforehand, and now they can do it very smoothly.

The totem mark between his brows turned again, the ghost general vanished, and the true lord returned.

"Bang!" "Bang!"

Gao Yuanyi and Ding Jucheng were quickly knocked away.

Baihe Zhenjun held back, pressing forward and first slapping Gao Yuanyi away with his mace, then pulling him down with another. On the other side, Ding Jucheng got up and tried to rush towards the gate to escape, but Baihe Zhenjun threw his golden mace, smashing him down heavily.

The spirit medium's body was no longer usable, and two beams of Yin spirit light flew out.

The ghostly aura emanating from Baihe Zhenjun resurfaced, and he once again switched to the identity of the Ghost General:
"Do you think this place is where you can come and go as you please?"

The two beams of light were trapped in mid-air, struggling desperately but to no avail.

"Since you're here, stay... to have some drinks with!"

With a downward pull of his arms and an open mouth, two beams of light fell into the throat of the White Crane Ghost General in batches.

He stuck out his tongue and licked around his lips, looking like he wanted more.

This sense of comfort and satisfaction, which comes from the depths of one's soul, was intoxicating not only to the boy but also to Ayou, even more so than the wine they drank by the river that time.

"Hiccup..."

He let out a hiccup, his eyes glazed over, and looked around as if he had finally realized where he was. The Ghost General's mark disappeared, and he reverted to his True Lord form, not forgetting to chant one last line:
"Evil spirits, only kill, never save!"

"Boom!"

The golden mace rested on the ground, the vertical pupils disappeared, and he remained motionless.

Lin Fu'an: "Go and take a look quickly."

Immediately, some disciples from the temple stepped forward. As soon as they got close, Lin Shuyou raised his head, startling everyone into retreating in panic.

Lin Shuyou shook his head, forcing himself to clear his head again.

He then put away his double maces and staggered toward Lin Fu'an.

"Ayou?"

Lin Fu'an inquired with concern.

Lin Shuyou nodded, pressing one hand to his aching forehead from a hangover, and pointing with the other at Lin Fu'an in front of him:

"Grandpa, kneel down and kowtow to me, wishing me a long and healthy life."

Lin Fu'an: "..."

"No, no..." Lin Shuyou slapped his forehead hard and knelt down before Lin Fu'an.

Lin Fu'an threw away his cane and reached out to grab his grandson's arm.

"Good grandson, good grandson, my good grandson."

"Grandpa, your grandson kowtows to you, wishing you a happy marriage!"

Lin Fu'an's lips twitched slightly.

Fortunately, because of Lin Shuyou's powerful performance earlier, although the people around heard it, no one dared to laugh, and they all regarded it as a side effect of that powerful force.

"Grandpa, my older brother asked me to tell you something. He said... *hiccup*!"

Lin Fu'an: "Someone, help Ayou to the inner room to rest, quickly!"

Inner room.

Lin Shuyou sat alone in a semi-reclined position on the grand master chair in the center.

The two rows below are occupied by a group of elders from the temple.

Ayou's mother brought over some hangover soup and fed it to her son in small spoonfuls.

Lin Shuyou woke up and smiled at his mother.

The hangover soup had almost no effect, and he could only overcome his drunkenness on his own. But as soon as he opened his eyes, he looked down.

Grandfather, Master, Senior Uncle, Senior Uncle, Father...

They all sat properly below, in the same posture, half-bent over, turned to the side, looking at themselves.

This is a truly novel perspective.

Lin Shuyou's mind went a little hazy again; he must still be a little drunk.

After blinking hard a few times, I wondered why everyone was doing it in this position.
Boy: "Hiccup... because they want to make eye contact with you."

Lin Shuyou: "Hiccup... Am I that short?"

Boy: "Hiccup... Don't you even look at the way you're sitting?"

Lin Shuyou then realized what was happening, and sat up straight, supporting himself on the armrest. The elders below also straightened their backs.

"My backpack..."

The mother picked up the backpack. It was very heavy, but luckily Lin Shuyou's mother was quite strong; a normal person couldn't lift it at all.

Lin Shuyou took out a bottle from his backpack, poured out a few pills and swallowed them, then took out a calming talisman and stuck it on his forehead.

Boy: "Hoo..."

Ayou: "Phew..."

The effects of the alcohol were finally suppressed.

Seeing that his grandson had finally fully regained consciousness, Lin Fu'an turned to the side and asked:
"Ah You, how about we talk about this privately first?"

Lin Shuyou: "No need, Grandpa, how's it going outside?"

Lin Fu'an: "Those three didn't die, but they're crippled. What I'm worried about now is the temple behind those three. Although the temple isn't big, and it doesn't have many people or divine books, that was in the past. Now... it's possible that their temple is actually the strongest."

Lin Shuyou: "They came to provoke us first, so don't blame us for merging those three temples first. Grandpa, you can arrange for someone to do it later."

Lin Fu'an: "Uh..."

If Ah-you said he would go by himself, Lin Fu-an thought it was fine, but if someone from the temple went...

Chen Shoumen: "Ayou, you may not be aware of the current situation at the temple. We have enough manpower, but not enough divine intervention..."

Ayou's father: "Yes, otherwise those three people wouldn't have come to our door and bullied us like that."

Lin Shuyou: "It's alright, we'll have enough divine hands in our temple soon."

Lin Fu'an: "Ah You, do you have a solution?"

"Hmm." Lin Shuyou pointed to the table in front of him. "Grandpa, let's set up a spirit medium altar here first."

"Okay, then what?"

"Then……"

Lin Shuyou hesitated, but it was Xiao Yuan's order, so he had no choice but to obey.

"Then, all the Lin clan members in the temple, come and kowtow to me."

As soon as he finished speaking, the whole place was silent.

Lin Shuyou scratched his head, looking quite embarrassed, and said:

"I had no choice; it's the procedure, and we had to go through it."

Chen Shoumen: "Ayou, this temple was originally intended for you to take over, and now you are more than capable of being the temple's abbot, so I think..."

Lin Shuyou: "Master, you don't have the surname Lin, you have no right to kowtow."

Chen Shoumen: "..."

"Tap tap tap!" Lin Fu'an tapped the ground with his cane. "Didn't you understand what Ayou said? Everyone here with the surname Lin, come over and prepare to kowtow. Those who aren't surnamed Lin, go outside and arrange for the younger generation with the surname Lin to line up. Hurry up and go!"

Soon, two-thirds of those present left their seats.

Chen Shoumen was also carried out.

Although the temple is known to outsiders as the Lin Family Temple, Lin Fu'an does not consider family or surname as a constraint. Lin Shuyou's father was not as talented as Chen Shoumen, so the current temple master is Chen Shoumen.

Soon, only the elders of the Lin family, who were related to Lin Shuyou by blood, remained in the room.

The True Lord system requires bloodline as its foundation.

Before Lin Shuyou got married and had children, if he wanted to develop his career... he could only look upwards.

Lin Fu'an: "Ah You, Grandpa, Grandpa, do I need to kowtow too?"

Lin Shuyou: "Grandpa doesn't need to kowtow."

Lin Fu'an didn't feel relieved after hearing this. Instead, he asked, "Does not kowtowing mean it's over?"

Although he didn't know exactly what he would get, Lin Fu'an knew that his grandson, and the person behind his grandson, wouldn't make such a statement without a reason.

Lin Shuyou: "Okay, then that's all."

Lin Fu'an: "Then I'll kowtow once, I'll go first!"

As he spoke, Lin Fu'an, leaning on his cane, walked up to Lin Shuyou.

Lin Shuyou unconsciously lifted his feet and turned his body to the side; he was still not used to this scene.

The boy said, "Let me do it. That way, you'll feel better, and they'll feel better too."

Lin Shuyou immediately agreed.

The next moment, his vertical pupils opened, and the aura of a True Monarch descended.

The White Crane True Lord sat serenely behind the offering table, his sacred aura enhanced by the smoke from the incense.

"Those who wish to join the tutelage of my True Lord, step forward and kneel in order!"

Now, the Lin family members below were all relieved.

Lin Shuyou's father wiped his face hard with his sleeve a few times.

Lin Fu'an refused any help, flung his trousers aside, and knelt before the White Crane True Lord:

"Greetings, True Lord! Please bestow your blessings!"

White Crane True Lord:

"Now that you have joined my ranks, if you ever encounter evil spirits harming humanity, you may call upon my name!"

Lin Fu'an felt a warm current flowing through his blood, which seemed to lighten his already severe injuries.

After Lin Fu'an got up, the rest of the people all followed suit.

Finally, there's Lin Shuyou's father.

With the old man leading the way, he had nothing to worry about. After kowtowing, sweat began to bead on his forehead.

Next, the door opened, and the Lin family members outside came in one by one to kowtow.

It is quite obvious that the closer the blood relation to Lin Shuyou, the more immediate the feedback after kowtowing.

This means that those with more distant blood ties will have to put in more effort to summon a spirit medium to possess them. While the True Lord system enhances the individual strength of a True Lord, it also brings drawbacks in development.

Li Zhuiyuan did not intend to transform all the officials and generals into True Lords, as that would undoubtedly lock up the future development potential of the officials and generals.

However, due to their relationship with Lin Shuyou, the Lin family has long been regarded as part of their side.

To maintain influence within the reorganized leadership, it is essential to have a force directly under one's control.

Chen Shoumen, as an outsider, could also represent the traditional officials and generals. Both existed together in the Lin Family Temple, which was equivalent to the anchor that Li Zhuiyuan had driven into the new official and general system.

In his early years, Lin Fu'an possessed great ambition and boldness. Later, he and Chen Shoumen wisely kept the secret. Now, they have finally obtained what they have longed for.

Opportunities are something that depend on whether you have the qualifications to seize them.

Clearly, the boy was very satisfied with Lin Shuyou's grandfather and master.

If Li Zhuiyuan decides to go public, then the Lin Family Temple will be a genuine force under the Dragon King's command.

White Crane True Lord: "What are you all standing there for? Merge those three small temples with me!"

Soon, a group of Lin family members rushed out of the temple gate, then split into three groups and headed straight for the three small temples.

The Lin Family Temple has a much greater foundation than them, and its disciples are far superior in both quality and quantity. The previous decline is just that it is now difficult to start a spirit writing ritual.

Now, the wind has shifted.

Each group of disciples stopped in front of the other's temple and then collectively began to practice spirit writing.

"Please summon True Lord White Crane!"

"Please summon True Lord White Crane!"

Sitting inside the Lin Family Temple, Lin Shuyou felt his strength being constantly drained away.

White Crane Boy: "It's been a long time since I've been summoned by spirit mediums. I really miss this feeling."

When Lin Shuyou needs help, the White Crane Child can concentrate all its power to deal with him, but in normal times, it can send its power out to do odd jobs.

Lin Shuyou took a painting out of his bag.

Lin Fu'an took it, opened it, and saw that it depicted Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

However, Li Zhuiyuan deliberately modified the Bodhisattva's appearance, painting him as Sun Baishen.

Lin Shuyou: "Grandpa, Master, immediately make a copy of this painting to replace the Bodhisattva images in our temple, and the statues of gods also need to be remade."

Lin Fu'an: "I've also contacted other temples; they trust me. Should I ask them to replace these as well?"

Lin Shuyou: "Okay."

Chen Shoumen: "The statue of the White Crane True Lord also needs to be rebuilt, right?"

Lin Shuyou: "Reshape it. Place it under the Bodhisattva statue, but leave one space on the Bodhisattva's lotus pedestal."

Lin Fu'an and Chen Shoumen exchanged a glance, both knowing who should have the vacant spot.

If that person succeeds in crossing the river and becomes the Dragon King, then perhaps his own temple will have to enshrine another statue of the Dragon King.

While ethereal deities may be high above, the martial world still values the principle that local officials are more powerful than distant ones.

Lin Shuyou stood up, recalling the moves that Brother Bin had taught him before they parted ways;
With his left hand behind his back, right hand raised forward, chest out, head held high, gaze firm, he said in a deep voice:
"These petty villains are bullying their superiors and dare to overthrow and enslave our officials and generals. They are truly turning the world upside down!"

From this day forward, my Lin Family Temple will take the lead in raising the banner:

"Honor the Bodhisattva as the legitimate authority, and reorganize the officials and generals!"

……

"That guy surnamed Li is really something, Tan Daban. You probably didn't expect this at first, did you?"

Zhao Yi sat on the floor, a bloody hole he had pierced between his eyebrows. He placed a cotton wick inside and lit it.

The light was very strange; although it was burning, it only produced flames and not much light.

Liang Yan and Liang Li, who were lying on either side of Zhao Yi, were surrounded by a shimmering glow.

In terms of talent, Zhao Yi only admires that guy surnamed Li.

Li Zhuiyuan would even stop specifically to deduce Zhao Yi's latest progress through memory recollection, which was also a form of recognition of Zhao Yi.

It's in their nature to pluck feathers from a passing goose.

The simplest and most direct manifestation of this is that they learn anything very quickly.

This "lighting the sky lantern" technique was a secret art invented by his ancestor Zhao Luhai. Zhao Yi had seen it and figured it out himself.

He is now healing the Liang sisters in this way.

In the previous wave, he "annihilated his entire family" and gained a lot. What is happening now is actually a redistribution of merit.

Of course, the fact that they could do this much shows that the Liang sisters do indeed hold a very important place in Zhao Yi's heart.

They were still the naive women he had tricked into joining the team, but he couldn't bear to give them up.

The mobile phone was standing right in front of me, and we were on the phone.

At that moment, Tan Wenbin's voice came through the mobile phone:
"Well, I thought we were just forcibly intervening as righteous people and reaping the benefits, but I really didn't expect Brother Xiaoyuan to make such an arrangement until he told us about it himself."

"It's normal that you didn't expect this. Although in the martial arts world, might makes right, if you can not only be strong enough, but also raise a legitimate banner, you will be invincible!"

"Okay, long-distance calls are expensive. I've already picked up the person, so let's not chat any longer, alright?"

"Ha, you've borrowed all my people, and I'm not even allowed to ask questions? Looking at all the teams traveling along the river, who else can lend out their men like I can?"

“You’re from another team, so this is called ‘borrowing’.”

"Let Xu Ming answer the phone."

"Row."

"Boss, it's me."

"The guy surnamed Li only wants A-Jing. I insisted on sending you along too. Do you know what your mission is?"

"I know, I'll protect A-Jing."

"Pooh!"

Xu Ming: "..."

"You need to protect the man surnamed Li. He doesn't have many men under him right now, so you should make a good impression."

"Boss, I understand."

"Be more discerning. The man surnamed Li is generous; as long as you do something, he won't let you down."

"I understand, boss."

"Let A-Jing answer the phone."

"Brother Yi, it's me."

"Ah Jing, listen to your brother Yuan, understand?"

"Well, I will."

On the other end of the phone, Chen Jing nodded vigorously.

Actually, he initially wanted to follow Brother Yuan, but Brother Yuan clearly didn't want him, so he could only follow Brother Yi.

He could never say such things again, because Yi-ge had been really good to him.

A smile appeared on Zhao Yi's face.

When the man surnamed Li suddenly asked to borrow someone from him, he agreed without hesitation and immediately arranged for the person to be put on a plane to Lin Shuyou's hometown.

The feeling of using other people's food to support your own troops is simply wonderful.

It's a pity, but I can't leave right now because I'm treating Ah Yan and Ah Li's injuries. Even if I stop now, the losses caused by the treatment won't be recovered quickly. If I go, I can only be a cheerleader.

Otherwise, he would have arrived immediately, even if he didn't care about the Li family, he would have gone to support his friend.

Tan Wenbin: "Alright, team, I'm hanging up now. We need to head over and meet up with Brother Xiaoyuan."

Zhao Yi: "Meet up? You think your little brother Yuan will be waiting for you here? Has he already taken Runsheng to that old temple of the official general in the mountains?"

Tan Wenbin: "Hehe, as expected, you can't hide anything from the other teams."

Zhao Yi: "Isn't it obvious? The conference is in a few days. Why do we have to wait until the conference starts before we can enter? This isn't a TV drama."

Tan Wenbin: "Xiao Yuan only has Run Sheng by his side, I need to go help him."

Zhao Yi: "The fact that he dared to take Runsheng alone shows that he has confidence. In the official's headquarters, aren't the most important things those Yin gods?"
This is where the importance of 'legitimacy' comes into play; legitimacy is something that must be fought for.

Do you think the remaining spirits would rather follow those so-called mysterious people or the 'Bodhisattva whose appearance has changed'?
If they have no other choice, they can only bow their heads.

But if there were a choice,
Of those Yin spirits, aside from a few who switched allegiance early on, most of the rest will become helpers to that man surnamed Li.

"Yes, the other team is right."

"Do you want me to tell you about the mysterious identities of that group again? I think you probably don't even know them now."

"you know?"

“I didn’t know at first, but after your preliminary investigation, I found out that the man surnamed Li took A-Jing from me. Don’t forget, I was also on Fengdu Ghost Street that night.”

“It’s this…”

"I have been preparing for that grand show for a long time, and its curtain may well be raised from here."

……

"boom!"

Runsheng used his shovel to shovel the person blocking his way into a nearby rock, then continued to move forward with his shovel.

The group above, intimidated by Runsheng's imposing presence, dared not advance any further and instead retreated continuously.

Li Zhuiyuan followed Runsheng up the mountain step by step.

An elderly man dressed in white stood above, his face showing distress, watching the two people, one big and one small, climbing the mountain.

Not long ago, a group of people went up the mountain. The temple tried desperately to stop them, but they couldn't.

In the end, the old man himself had no choice but to surrender to the other side due to the circumstances.

But who would have thought that a similar scene would repeat itself so quickly.

What surprised him even more was that all the formations and restrictions on the mountain were inexplicably ineffective against the two climbers, one big and one small.

At least during the last resistance, that group had more people, and they put up a good fight. Although they were ultimately defeated, at least they tried their best.

But these two people left far too casually.

The old man wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. He had a premonition that he had surrendered too soon.

If only I had known, I should have gone to jail with those who refused to surrender. If the jail door had been broken open, I could have regained my identity. But now... I have no way out.

"Go! Stop them! Anyone who dares to retreat will die!"

However, none of the guys in front of him listened to him and continued to back away.

Those tough guys in the old temple that day either died in battle or were imprisoned. The remaining wave of surrenderers were already lacking in fighting spirit. If they were truly willing to risk their lives, they wouldn't still be standing here now.

The old man was helpless. He wanted to scold them to wake them up. If they changed sides again, the first thing those people in the dungeon would do when they came out would be to settle scores with them.

"Charge! Charge!"

Li Zhuiyuan frowned slightly, raised his hand, and blood mist filled his palm. He pressed down, and the dragon spirit stirred.

In an instant, the formations and restrictions that had previously lost their effect were activated again, but this time, they were applied to the people blocking their way.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Men and horses were thrown into chaos, resulting in heavy casualties.

This time, even the old man himself didn't dare to resist anymore, and turned around and ran away faster than anyone else.

They've run out of options; they can only rely on that group to deal with them.

After walking along the mountain path, we arrived at a platform.

From here, up to the old temple building, there are two more platforms like this.

Judging from its appearance, it should be a testing ground for the temple of the chief official. In secular temples, if they want to send their young disciples up, they must go through these layers of tests.

Li Zhuiyuan could see the stone statues and animal statues used as tests.

Lin Shuyou must have also passed through this level before.

A man in black appeared ahead.

The old man, as if seeing a savior, hurriedly went up to report: "Sir, these two are too strange, we really can't stop them..."

"puff!"

A red tongue emerged from the black-clad man's mask, piercing the old man's neck, before he was hung up completely.

The old man's blood rapidly drained away, gradually turning him into a dried-up human body.

Immediately afterwards, the red tongue flicked out again, slinging the fleeing people around it.

The man in black's belly grew larger and larger, gradually resembling an inflating balloon.

After he had killed everyone, he spoke in a hoarse voice:
"A bunch of trash!"

"Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!"

Four figures landed behind him, and four men in black, dressed the same as him, stepped out.

In addition, there were five men in black approaching from the platform.

Li Zhuiyuan looked up at the bulging belly.

These people are quite clear-headed; they mobilized all the people they could, but didn't manage to pull off any moves that would allow them to pass the test.

But they weren't smart enough; they protected the buildings here too well. They probably really wanted to consolidate the power of the officials and generals and bring it under their own control.

Li Zhuiyuan looked at the stone statues and lions on the platform, and the bases of these statues were trembling slightly.

"Kids, I advise you to keep your eyes open. This world is vast, but it's also small. Don't accidentally provoke someone you can't afford to offend."

Li Zhuiyuan: "You've wrapped yourself up so tightly, so that I can see a little more clearly?"

"Kid, I'm giving you a friendly warning because you don't know what kind of being you're provoking."

What if I said... I know?

……

Below the main hall of the Guanjiangshou Temple.

The original mountain spring cave has been transformed into a water prison, where a group of injured people are imprisoned, many of whom are still unconscious.

A long-haired young man walked among them, followed by a robust, yellow-bearded middle-aged man.

"Why not just kill them all? What's the point of keeping them alive?"

The long-haired youth shook his head: "The ones who are truly useful are actually them. Who would want their subordinates to be spineless cowards who surrender at the drop of a hat?"

"But they are stubborn and inflexible."

"You'll figure it out sooner or later."

The long-haired youth walked up the steps and arrived at the main hall above.

Inside the main hall, oil lamps were lit, and above each lamp hung a statue of a deity.

In the temple of the chief officials, all the chief officials and their spirits are enshrined.

At this point, half of the lights had gone out, and the statue above had cracked.

This means that the Yin spirit it represents has fallen.

The remaining half, however, were dim in luster, a testament to the current weakness of these Yin spirits.

The two figures at the very front are the Generals of Increase and Loss. They are very dark, and only after a long time does a little light appear to symbolically flow.

As for the very back, there was only one lamp, and no statue above it; that should have been the spot for the White Crane Boy.

In its heyday, the old temple was brightly lit, and all the statues of gods seemed to be bathed in rosy light, exuding an aura that was difficult to describe in words.

The current predicament here serves as a stark contrast to the decline of the Guanjiangshou lineage.

As the long-haired youth approached, three statues, along with the lamps below them, moved toward him and landed on his body. These three statues were dazzlingly bright.

The long-haired youth pointed upwards and said, "See? The three of them are your role models. I really can't understand what you're still holding on to. Only by submitting to me can you have a new future."

Some statues began to sway slightly, indicating a stirring of emotion, but most statues remained silent.

The long-haired youth looked at the two generals, one representing the increase and the other the decrease, who were at the very front of the line, and said:

"You two should be more sensible and set a good example. You shouldn't have forgotten me. The Bodhisattva is no longer here, so it's only right that you submit to me!"

A breeze blows, and the friction makes a sound.

The light below flickers due to the addition and subtraction of the second element.

General Zeng: "We only venerate the Bodhisattva."

General Sun: "How dare you, you beast, bully me!"

Upon hearing this, the long-haired youth was not angry; instead, he laughed loudly:
"Alright, alright, even if you're unwilling to submit to me, I've found you a new way to get ahead."

"Isn't the gate of the Dragon King worthy of your kneeling and worship?"

"Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"

The three statues of surrendering gods above the long-haired youth's head emitted cracking sounds, and their originally brilliant radiance dimmed considerably.

The bearded man spoke up: "Someone has swallowed a portion of their essence."

At this time, there was a noise outside.

The bearded man walked to the entrance of the hall, glanced at it, and said, "Someone is trying to break into the mountain. You're right, those surrendered good-for-nothings are indeed useless."

With a wave of his hand, the man sent all the men in black who had been standing outside the hall rushing toward the mountain gate.

The long-haired youth said, "Those who know the Bodhisattva is not here and dare to break into this old temple at this time are not ordinary forces in the martial arts world. Let's not cause any trouble. Right now, it is most important to subdue these Yin spirits."

"Just announce your name and scare them away."

The blond-bearded man nodded, took a deep breath, and when he spoke again, a roar like that of a lion resounded:

"Dragon King Yu has erected this flag. All other irrelevant persons, please leave!"

The sound reached Li Zhuiyuan.

The group of men in black standing in front of Li Zhuiyuan all stood at attention, clearly proud of their status.

Li Zhuiyuan reached out and tugged at Runsheng's arm.

Runsheng bent down and turned to the side.

Li Zhuiyuan whispered to him.

Runsheng nodded and stood up.

The next moment, the lines on Runsheng's body surged, his energy gates opened, and an even louder roar erupted as he retorted:
"With beasts in power, how dare they call themselves the Dragon King's court!"
