Chapter 359: The Great Crusade - Ahriman the Headless King

Chapter 359: The Great Crusade - Ahriman the Headless King

"Master Ahriman, what is the situation now? Where is the Primarch?"

The newly resurrected Thousand Sons warrior was filled with questions, just like the others.

In the face of these questions, Ahriman chose to play ostrich and act as if he couldn't hear them.

He gritted his teeth and analyzed the situation in front of him.
Ahriman still has four powerful Chaos Artifacts left in his hands, so this psychic barrier can hold out for a little while longer.

But he was almost reaching his limit. If Zhou Yun walked him like a dog three or four more times, he would not be able to bear it.
What a beast! What a beast! It's just Erebus!

Ahriman has been roaming the galaxy for 10,000 years, but he has never encountered such a beastly opponent.

This is not a fight at all!!

Ahriman remembered what Magnus had said to him before the battle: "That being is now bound within a mortal shell, so fragile that a single blow of witchfire would slay him."

Ahriman only wanted to greet Magnus and his family.
Zhou Yun's body was indeed fragile, but Ahriman didn't even have the chance to approach him. Zhou Yun had obviously never considered having a real fight with Ahriman.

Throughout the war, the two men were repeating the cycle of Zhou Yun resurrecting the Red Letter Warrior, Fat Tiger throwing the devil into the subspace, and Ahriman going to rescue and then getting shot.

The only reason Ahriman had held on until now was to wait for one of Carlos and Magnus to achieve the victory they promised.

Now Carlos has been defeated, and there is no news from Magnus.

Even if Magnus finally killed Sanguinius, Ahriman would probably be killed by Zhou Yun and Gileman before he arrived.
Ahriman gritted his teeth.

If it was just to defeat Zhou Yun, Ahriman had one last choice.

Stand on that position, occupy your own place in the subspace, make yourself a thorough subspace existence, and upgrade to a higher form.
Ahriman always had this opportunity,

Perturabo gave Chaos hundreds of Imperial Fist seeds and was promoted to a Chaos-less Demon Prince.

Ahriman gave his entire legion to Chaos.
He is the master of the Rubric Network, the arcane focus of all Thousand Sons' psychic powers.

He killed nearly his entire legion and sacrificed nearly all of his brothers to the Warp.
So many sacrifices, so many deaths, enough for Ahriman to gain the deep blessings of the Warp.

The souls trapped in the armor were destined to become dust. Everything gave Ahriman the opportunity to become a higher level being.

He spent 10,000 years searching for the opportunity to ascend, and regarded the ascension to a higher level of existence as a way to save his brother. He eventually found the way to ascend in the Eldar library.
But Ahriman despairingly discovered that if he were to be promoted to a competitor for a position in the Chaos, and become a being of a similar status to Inad, Vashtor, and Zhou Yun, then his brothers would be completely hopeless.

Once he begins to ascend, the timelessness of chaos begins to take effect.
The foundation of his ascension is the scarlet letter, the destruction of the Thousand Sons Legion itself. After the ascension is completed, this fate will be fixed.

From the past to the future, the destruction of the Thousand Sons will become an indisputable fact at every point in time, just as the birth of Slaanesh brought the inevitable destruction of the Eldar. The curse of all being dust will transcend the past and the future and hunt down everyone with the blood of the Thousand Sons.

Ahriman no longer dared to borrow more power from the Warp, as he could now vaguely feel the existence of that location.

"Ahriman."

Zhou Yun's voice sounded at this moment. He showed a gentle smile and shouted to Ahriman in an earnest and friendly voice:
"You seem to be unable to hold on any longer. I can let you go."

When Ahriman heard this, he was stunned for a moment.

"You, Magnus, and Tzeentch actually have no conflicts of interest." Zhou Yun continued with a smile:

"I know you don't trust the promises of the gods, so I won't make any promises. I will directly use actual benefits to influence you."

"I will help you revive a few red-letter warriors, and I just want you to leave now."

A light suddenly flashed before Ahriman's eyes. Zhou Yun's words were like a spider thread hanging from hell, giving Ahriman a glimmer of hope.

He guessed that there was a problem with Sanguinius, and Zhou Yun needed to rescue Sanguinius as soon as possible, so he was unwilling to waste any more time with him.

"Resurrect two hundred of my brothers and I will withdraw." Ahriman shouted to Zhou Yun.

"Ten. We are on the battlefield now. How can we have the time to resurrect you one by one?" Zhou Yun immediately rejected Ahriman's proposal.

"Then will you just watch Sanguinius die?" Ahriman felt that he had grasped Zhou Yun's vital point.

But Zhou Yun just gave Ahriman a strange look, as if asking what nonsense Ahriman was talking about.

"It's not like Sanguinius hasn't died before."

Zhou Yun said calmly:
"Since I can revive him once, I can naturally revive him a second time."

"Do you think it's difficult for me to resurrect the dead?"

As he spoke, Zhou Yun casually resurrected another red-letter warrior.
But this time he did not throw it into the torrent of the subspace, but directly controlled Fat Tiger to throw it into Ahriman's barrier.

"This is the first one." Zhou Yun said to Ahriman.

".But ten are too few!" Ahriman swallowed slightly and shouted, suppressing the excitement in his heart.

"It's not me who burned all your brothers to ashes!" As he said this, Zhou Yun resurrected another red-letter warrior and threw him in the direction of Ahriman.

Ahriman quickly caught it with his psychic power and placed it next to him. "It won't take you much time to revive a few more!"

"Well, for good luck, I will revive twenty-two of your brothers. Twenty-two is my sacred number."

Zhou Yun grinned, knowing that Ahriman had taken the bait:

"But I want the copy of the Book of Magnus that you have."

Ahriman took off the precious copy of the Book of Magnus from his waist without hesitation.
Although he might have guessed that Zhou Yun's original purpose included this copy of the Book of Magnus, Ahriman thought it was totally worth it to be able to use it to exchange for twelve more brothers.

Ahriman threw the copy of the Book of Magnus to Zhou Yun, and Zhou Yun resurrected the remaining twenty red letter warriors and threw them to Ahriman one by one.

Finally, Ahriman nodded slightly to Zhou Yun, and he seemed a little satisfied. Then he led the Prodigal Sons War Gang and disappeared in the tide of the warp.

Zhou Yun glanced at the tracking mirror in his hand that had already reflected Ahriman's figure, and then quickly began to act according to the plan.
He directly stuffed Ahriman's copy of the Book of Magnus into the four-dimensional pocket, and then took out the copy he obtained from the Black Library, as well as
A pair of shoes with orange and yellow interlaced.
