I'm in Warhammer, please don't praise Doraemon

Chapter 601: Loyalty to the Silent King!

Chapter 601: Loyalty to the Silent King!

Why are there so many traitors?

The King of Silence's words caused the astrologer Orichen's mind to pause for a moment.
If he and the Silent King were still alive, Eurycan would definitely ask the Silent King: who has the tumor in his brain, the Silent King or Eurycan?
The Silent King destroyed his entire race and destroyed the master control protocol that could unite all the Necromancers in space under a single will. What right does he have to demand that the Necromancers remain loyal to him?
But when Eurycan looked at the long spear wreathed in the Silence King's hand, and felt the chilling anger emanating from that tall, slender body, his voice seemed to rust.
Was that gun not destroyed back then?

No wonder that person was so wary of the Silent King, just because of this spear.
Eurycan was speechless.

Although the Silent King was not a wise ruler, he was undoubtedly a powerful one. Almost any undead would feel a sense of fear when facing him, as if they had become a lowly creature, only fit to grovel at his feet, and a strange fanaticism and loyalty would arise in their hearts.

Orikan often suspected that the Silent King retained some form of control protocol, thus preserving some control over the Necromancers in space.

Faced with the Silent King's cold questioning, Eurican's logical mind even began to generate a series of illogical thoughts, and he began to wonder if his identity as a spy had been exposed.
Even a strange impulse arose in his mind, urging him to kneel before the Silent King and confess all his sins.

“But thanks to you, Master Orikan!” Hapsartas, the Radiant One beside the Silent King, suddenly changed his tone, from condemnation to praise for Orikan.

"Hmm?" Eurican paused for a moment, still under the influence of the Silent King's power, not yet fully free, and his thoughts were not very clear.

"If you hadn't provided the list of hidden traitors in advance, we would have wasted a lot of resources, outstanding payments, and military pay on those traitors!" Hapsartas of Radiance praised.

"Oh!"

Euricane exclaimed "Oh!" as if he had just realized something.

Not long ago, Orikan gave the Triune Council a list, claiming that the list contained hidden traitors and that their supplies should be cut off, their outstanding payments refused, and their pay and reinforcements removed to prevent them from defecting with large amounts of property belonging to the Silent King to the enemy.

But actually, that list was given to Eurycan by the one who was wavering between the Space Necromancer Emperor and the Overlord under the Silent King.
These patriarchs and overlords had been wavering between Allah and the King of Silence, but the King of Silence's actions of cutting off their supplies, final payments, and military pay pushed them completely toward Allah.

But the Silent King still believed that it was Euricane who had exposed the hidden traitor in advance, thus saving him from wasting a lot of wealth.

Or rather, the Silent King didn't really care whether those people wavered or betrayed him.

He was an extremely confident individual; for him, loyalty that wasn't absolute was tantamount to absolute disloyalty.
"You've really worked hard," Hapsartas the Radiant comforted Orikan.

“Serving His Majesty the Silent King is no hardship!” Eurican said righteously.

The three saints all showed expressions of admiration.

"Master, you are truly a loyal and devoted minister! With you by my side, the revival of the Necropolis Empire is in sight," praised Hapsartas of Radiance.

Eurycan once again paid his respects to the Triune Council, but did not forget the main purpose of his trip.

Hapsalas of Light listened as Orikan observed the trajectories of the stars and predicted the future, nodding repeatedly as he listened.
"Does Master Orikan mean that the little thief Anlakel intends to gather all the traitors in the Volian-Vash system to conspire to overthrow our dynasty and rebel?" Hapsaras of Radiance asked, his eyes flickering as he stared at Orikan.

Eurycan nodded in agreement, and then the three saints fell into a deathly silence, as if the Silent King was having an unseen conversation with the other two saints.

This was certainly not calculated by Eurycan. His astrology is a science, not some mystical witchcraft like Eldar prophecies, imperial revelations, or numerology, which can draw inaccurate conclusions without any evidence.

The principle behind this science lies in predicting the flow of time by observing the trajectories of stars, and finding the inevitability of that one moment amidst infinite possibilities.
The problem is that while Eurycan's science is rigorous, the universe itself is not so rigorous. Due to the existence of subspace, temporal distortions occur frequently, and Eurycan often has to correct these errors in the galaxy himself.

The Volian-Vash system is located on the edge of the Ghost Realm, a region now swallowed by warp storms and where time is disrupted, making it impossible for Orikan to observe such a precise future.

This information also came from that person, but Eurican actually had some doubts as well.

Why would Alla'kel, who is clearly the representative of the undead, betray his position? And at such a crucial moment.

If, during the meeting of the Twenty-Two Dharma Kings and the Silent King at Allah's Kael, the Silent King himself were to directly attack them.
With just the spear in the Silent King's hand, at least a portion of Anlakel and those viziers would die.
The fact that he died before achieving his goal was undoubtedly a devastating blow to Alla'kel's rebellion. And without Alla'kel as his useful representative, it would be difficult for him to gather a new group of undead.
Was that person certain that the Silent King wouldn't take direct action?
“The Great Silent King Szalak said: Master Eurykian underestimates the heroes of the galaxy.” Hapsarath the Radiant chuckled twice, as if to say that even Eurykian could make mistakes.

"Huh?" Eurykan paused, not understanding what Haplusar the Radiant meant. Haplusar the Radiant slightly waved his metal arm, and a magnificent star map appeared in mid-air.

That is the region that humans call the Neferim Sector or the Ghost-Exorcising Dead Zone, and that the undead call the Anti-High Heaven Matrix.
The area is now shaped like layers of a donut.

At the very center is the region that still maintains the Anti-Solar Matrix, completely isolating the subspace. This region still belongs to the Silent King.
The outermost ring is marked in red; that ring was devoured by warp storms, the polarity of the Blackrock Matrix was reversed, and it is the area now occupied by humans.
Outside the Spirit Exorcism Zone, human forces formed a semicircle, covering one half of the zone, while the other half consisted of forces from Storm King Imotek.

This Storm King has not yet publicly announced his betrayal of the Silent King, nor has he obeyed the Silent King's commands. Instead, he lies in a corner of the battlefield like a wild beast waiting to be hunted, waiting for his chance to strike.

With a flick of his finger, Hapsarath the Radiant pointed to the location of the Volian Vash system.
That location was precisely at the boundary between the outer edge of the Exorcism Dead Zone and the Anti-Supreme Heaven Matrix.
"Masters often reside in astrological offices. Although they are well-versed in astrology, they do not understand tactics, strategy, or politics."

Hapsalas the Radiant said in a boastful tone:
"The treacherous officials actually chose this location, which is close to the territory we control, rather than a safer place, to plot their scheme."

"It's as if they're deliberately trying to lure us into attacking them; it's clearly a trap laid out right before our eyes."

"Of course, we three saints are not questioning the master's prophecy, but we think that Alla Kell has already become a pawn."

Eurykan remained silent for a moment. Of course, he could see what Hapsarath of Light was saying. Why was there any need to boast about something so obvious?
But Euricen disagreed with his conclusion.
Orikan believed that given Allahkel's importance, it was unlikely that the One would abandon Allahkel.

But the Silent King despises Allakel, or rather, he despises almost everything. He seems to instinctively regard everyone else in the galaxy as fools, which is one of the reasons why he is easily deceived.

He only saw it as a clumsy trap, completely unaware that there were traps within traps.

“How can my wisdom rival that of the King of Silence?” Euricane said, bowing his head slightly.

Hapsaras of Radiance nodded in satisfaction.

How could he possibly have the nerve?

If the Silent King's wisdom truly surpassed that of Orichen, he should have adopted Orichen's suggestion and refrained from the biological transformation.

“Then, Your Majesty, shall we spare the sinner Anlakel?” Eurican inquired.

"Master Orikan, if you find a tempting bait in the wild, but there's a trap hidden underneath, what would you do?"

Hapsarath the Radiant didn't wait for Orikan's reply and continued speaking to himself:

"It is neither foolish to step into a trap, nor to abandon the bait."

Instead, they went elsewhere to find a stick and used it to pick out the bait.

"We must tell Storm King Imotek about this and have him step into this trap for us."

Orikan paused for a moment, then looked up and carefully examined the location of the Volian Vash system, seemingly realizing something.

"As expected of you! As expected of you!" Euricane praised repeatedly.

Along with Orikan's praise, Hapsarath the Radiant let out a satisfied, low laugh.
In the subspace at the edge of the Neferim sector,

Phoenix Sages Chapter ship Imperial Glory
Thor, the former commander of the Phoenix Sage and former leader of the Forged Warband, who was once captured by the Necromancer General Zandreik, is currently escaping aboard this ship.

In the long corridor behind him, the sound of metallic footsteps echoed, as cold as death itself.

But death didn't seem in a hurry to take Thor's life. He emitted an eerie green light and paced around the ship that he had clearly invaded and taken control of, like a hunter hunting Thor.
