Fu Xicheng looked at Jiang Yuning, unaware that the slight upturn of her lips had already betrayed her true emotions.

"Ningning, you're overthinking it."

Jiang Yuning decided to stop pretending. Even though Fu Xicheng's wounds hadn't healed yet, judging from his appearance, he seemed to be able to move around freely without any problems.

She had originally planned to stay with him for a week, but now it seemed that wasn't necessary.

Grandpa Fu walked in, leaning on his cane. He was old, but he still loved his grandson dearly.

Grandpa Fu didn't linger. He had just flown back to Kyoto from abroad and hadn't even had a sip of water before rushing over.

His words were full of love and care: "You rascal, you should rest well and take good care of yourself."

Fu Xicheng nodded and replied, "Don't worry, I value my life more than anyone else now."

After Grandpa Fu left, Fu Xicheng lay back on the bed and closed his eyes.

Jiang Yuning moved closer to him and asked with concern, "Fu Xicheng, what's wrong?"

"I just feel a little tired and want to close my eyes and rest for a while."

Jiang Yuning was torn. She actually wanted to spend a few more days with Fu Xicheng, but she couldn't get over that mental hurdle.

"Fu Xicheng, maybe I shouldn't leave."

Fu Xicheng slowly opened his eyes. He understood Jiang Yuning's thoughts. If he continued to stay here, perhaps her heart would no longer be with him.

"Let's forget about it. You should go back to Haicheng."

Fu Xicheng lay flat on the bed, his eyes flickering slightly. "Is that all? I thought we were just getting started."

They had been kissing for several minutes, but he still wasn't satisfied. She felt she had done enough.

She found that the man in front of her seemed never to be satisfied.

Fu Xicheng kissed the top of her head and whispered, "Ningning, let's do it again."

Jiang Yuning lay down beside him, her arms aching and numb. She said in a nonchalant tone, "If you want it, do it yourself."

He was worried that Jiang Yuning wouldn't be able to handle it.

He gazed at her for a long time, but ultimately did not make any further move.

Jiang Yuning was anxious; if Fu Xicheng didn't continue kissing, she would leave.

She urged him, "Are you sure you can do it? If not, I'm getting up."
