Chapter 742 is our home

“I think he’s a very nice person,” Yu Xia said.

Kleeman's good mood today was completely ruined by that one sentence.

In his mind, "he's good" meant "I like him".

He gripped the steering wheel, wanting to lash out, but then he remembered that Yu Xia was currently suffering from amnesia, and the only people she interacted with most, besides him, were Catherine.

"Besides you, he's the one who cares about me the most," Yu Xia said softly.

After she finished speaking, it was as if a burst of fire could be seen erupting from his body.

She added fuel to the fire, "I'm so glad you brought me out today. If you don't usually have time, I can also let Catherine do it."

"What do you want him to do?" Kleeman's voice was cold and agitated.

"Kriman, are you angry?" Yu Xia looked at him in surprise and confusion.

She didn't seem to understand why he was angry.

“I spend every day alone in that room,” Yu Xia said softly, clutching the hem of her skirt. “Cather would bring me lots of books, letting me learn about the outside world. She would tell me stories, lull me to sleep, and so on.”

Kleeman: "Enough!"

Yu Xia was startled by his voice, and then tears welled up in her eyes.

Seeing that she was about to cry, Kleeman realized that he had lost his composure and wanted to hug her. But as soon as his hand touched her, he felt a sharp pain in his right arm, and the parasitic alien in his body began to surge again.

He slammed his fist on the back of the chair and stumbled off the aircraft.

As Yu Xia watched Kleeman leave the aircraft, the delicate tear in the corner of her eye turned cold.

To destroy a person, first make him mad.

Yu Xia looked out at the sentries through the aircraft's windshield.

They paid little attention to Kleeman; their eyes remained fixed on her.

They are Kaiser's men.

She looked down at the dagger Kleemann had given her; now, Kleemann was the knife she was sharpening for Cather.

A few minutes later, Kleeman returned to Yu Xia's side.

He stuffed a bag of colorful candies—whether he bought them or stole them—into her arms, then started the aircraft as if nothing had happened.

"What he can do, I can do too."

After a long pause, Kleeman spoke.

“If you like it here, I’ll bring you here often,” he said. “Tell me what you want to do.”

Yu Xia unwrapped a lollipop and stuffed it into his mouth.

Kleeman paused, then turned to look at her.

Yu Xia smiled at him, "Don't be angry. Cather is good to me, and I know you're good to me too."

Kleeman tasted the sweetness in his mouth and felt as if the flavor was seeping into his flesh and blood.

Looking at Yu Xia's smile, a thought popped into Kleeman's mind: Hide her, hide her away so no one can find her.

As the aircraft took off, Yu Xia's field of vision broadened, and the bustling city came into view.

She saw a familiar tower in the distance.

That's the Snake Division's watchtower.

"What's that?" Yu Xia asked, pointing at the watchtower, feigning ignorance.

Kleeman quickly chewed and swallowed the lollipop in his mouth. "The watchtower is our home."

"Home?" Yu Xia: "Can we go back now?"

"Not yet."

Kleeman's aircraft flew forward for a while longer before stopping.

“We can’t go any further,” Kleeman said. “Our teleportation points have distance limitations.”

Yu Xia looked outside, and an invisible force distorted the surrounding scenery.

Just as she had guessed, the teleportation point had some kind of limitation. But she had experienced long-distance teleportation several times before without this kind of range restriction.

It's possible that this restriction was intentionally set.

Yu Xia pondered deeply. If she wanted to teleport all the guides away, she would have to overcome this limitation. She would have to go back and ask Alex and Visi how to solve it.

*
"came back?"

As Yu Xia emerged from the teleportation point, Catherine came to greet her.

"Having fun?" Cather tried to put her arm around her, but Kleeman pushed her away.

Yu Xia nodded and took a colorful lollipop out of her handbag and handed it to him.

Kleeman snatched the candy away too.

Yu Xia then took out another lollipop and gave it to Cather.

Catherine quickly took it this time, ignoring Kleeman's fierce, possessive look, and smiled at Yu Xia, saying, "It seems you're in a good mood today. It's my fault for not thinking of taking you out for a walk."

“No need,” Kleeman said. “I can take her.”

Kaiser said, “You still have a lot to do. If you want us to go back sooner, do what I say and get those things done. We have a lot of enemies now.”

Kleeman said, "I will take care of them one by one."

“You are now the young master of the Snake Clan.” Cather’s tone became more serious. “You cannot act recklessly before we deal with our enemies.”

Catherine glanced at the girl beside her. "If you don't think about yourself, think about her too."

Before Kleeman could say anything more, Catherine said to Yana and Caesar, who were standing by watching the show, "Send her back."

"."

Accompanied by Yana and Xize, Yu Xia returned to the room hidden deep inside the castle.

Accompanying them back was the dark guide named Meteor.

With him around, Yu Xia didn't dare to casually connect with Alex and the others.

She didn't see Alex Sivi on her way back from the teleportation point to her room.

"Lady Ivy, where did you go today?" Yana asked Yu Xia in a relaxed tone while checking her physical condition.

Yu Xia glanced at Meteorite standing in the corner of the room without changing her expression, and asked Yana, "Why do you call me Ivy?"

Yana looked at her in surprise.

Xize immediately replied, "This is a respectful title we use for powerful guides."

Yu Xia: "...I'm very powerful?"

She opened her hand, and a faint spiritual energy emerged from it, as unstable as smoke, and soon dissipated from her hand.

Yu Xia used her mental power several times, but it quickly dissipated.

She sighed and smiled at Xize and Yana, "You may have made a mistake. I'm not some powerful guide. Just call me by my name, Yu Xia."

When Yana saw her smile, her heart ached terribly.

The noble and powerful Ivy had even forgotten who she was.

Without even guessing, she knew what Cather had done to her.

“Little Guide Yu.” Xize put his hand on Yana’s shoulder and said to Yu Xia, “From now on, we will be the doctors in charge of your health. You can tell us if you feel uncomfortable or if you are in a bad mood. We can cure anything.”

Yu Xia smiled and said, "Okay, may I know your names?"

“My name is Xize,” Xize said.

“My name is Yana.” Yana wrote her name in her palm.

“Yana,” Yu Xia said, “I seem to remember that there was someone who looked a lot like you in the hall before.”

Yana said, "That's my twin brother, Alan."

Yu Xia: "Is he a doctor too?"

Yana: "He was just an ordinary sentry."
