Chapter 104:103: The Resurrection Stone and the Terrified Dark Lord

Chapter 104:103: The Resurrection Stone and the Terrified Dark Lord

Defense Against the Dark Arts professor's office.

After Ian was caught by Gilderoy Grindelwald outside Dumbledore's office, he was brought here by the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher without any hesitation to wait. As for Gilderoy Grindelwald himself, according to what he said, he needed to go and see what Dumbledore had found first.

The communication between the headmaster and his best friend obviously would not last too short. Ian had thought about sneaking back to the dormitory, but he was still worried that Gilderoy Grindelwald would run to the dormitory and catch him back.

Ian was a man who cared a lot about his reputation. During the day, the fact that Snape had kidnapped him in public in the classroom had already become a rumor. Who knew what secrets he and Gilderoy Lockhart would have spread in the school if he was kidnapped by Gilderoy Grindelwald in the middle of the night.

"What a terrible night."

Ian stared at the cup of tea that Gilderoy Grindelwald had made for him. It was placed in a simple and elegant porcelain cup. The body of the cup was delicate and smooth, the glaze was as warm as jade, and it exuded a faint luster. The appearance, color and texture were so ingenious that they were obviously exquisite porcelain from the ancient oriental country.

The British Empire has always upheld an oriental admiration for tea and tea sets since ancient times, but things like this are not common in Hogwarts and many wizarding families.

Most wizards actually have some closed-door thinking, so Grindelwald is obviously a person whose thinking in this regard is completely different from other wizards. In the entire office that seems to have been redecorated, in addition to tea sets, there are also many items with cultural symbols from many countries.

Russian pine furniture, Persian carpets, Japanese wind chimes, African percussion instruments and wood carvings, items produced in different countries are all collected in this office.

There was even an ancient oriental broadsword hanging on the wall, as well as a staff from a culture that Ian could not recognize, overlapping on the wall, forming an X-shaped pattern.

It was like the interweaving of reality and magic... Although these things all had some magical aura and were alchemical creations, they were mostly extraordinary modified items, just like the Weasley family's cars. I wondered how Grindelwald dared to use them so openly to decorate the office he had occupied.

"What an elusive guy." Ian had always heard that Grindelwald was a wizard supremacist, and his ideas were slightly less radical than Voldemort's slogan of pure-blood supremacy. However, he was somewhat surprised to see some Muggle things in this room.

Technology products.

Yes, a refrigerator, an oven, a television, a washing machine, and even a disassembled computer, all of which were relatively expensive Muggle technology products in this era.

Grindelwald may indeed be very rich, or he may have embezzled Gilderoy Lockhart's property, but Ian is more inclined to believe that he broke into the home of a Muggle tycoon and did some zero-dollar shopping that was ahead of its time. It is also unknown why this wizard supremacist would be interested in Muggle things.

"To understand the social situation of Muggles?" Ian felt that based on the things in this office, Voldemort's servant Quirinus Quirrell might not even be able to get the position of Muggle Studies professor after returning. Take a look, there is even a box of pickles on Grindelwald's shelf that has been enchanted so that it will not spoil.

It was filled with a variety of Korean kimchi. Grindelwald had clearly grasped the cultural essence of the Great Cold Kingdom, and this level of understanding even exceeded that of the Muggles themselves in the early 1990s. Of course, compared to the labels hanging under other collections, the label under the kimchi box did not contain any of Grindelwald's insights and cultural analysis.

There were only five question marks like “????” - Grindelwald even had a long speech about the ancient Eastern countries, but it seemed that he could not make any analysis on the culture of Korea.

"That's understandable. Who wouldn't be confused after seeing their situation..." Ian waited for Grindelwald in boredom, and during this time he was curious about Grindelwald's collection in the office. Except for the modified radio, all those technological products could not be used in Hogwarts.

Even though Ian, who practiced both physics and magic, could use magic to create a stable and lasting electric current, he was still unable to start even one electronic device. This situation actually came to Ian's attention after he accidentally discovered that his tape recorder could not play the recording about Daphne Greengrass.

It's not that he forgot to complain, he just found that he couldn't bring any evidence to complain. Of course, the fact that Miss Daphne Greengrass had been very honest recently was also the reason why Ian didn't make trouble. Otherwise, a sentence like "Professor, what does mudblood mean?" would definitely be enough to make Daphne Greengrass uncomfortable for a while.

Ian originally planned to go around Hogwarts and ask every professor, and mention Daphne Greengrass to every professor, but Daphne Greengrass's attitude of reforming herself saved her - Aurora said that she no longer dared to discriminate against any young wizard of Muggle origin.

She was even more afraid of Ian than the professor. Ever since the last Marcus incident, Daphne Greengrass would immediately choose to take a detour when she saw Ian from a distance. Even if it was raining outside, she would pretend to go out to bask in the sun. Her main point was to avoid Ian even if it rained.
In the class shared by Ravenclaw and Slytherin, she would turn herself into a transparent person. Whenever Ian looked at her, she would tremble like a sieve and crawl under the table.

Ian felt that he was not a very vengeful person, he just held a slight grudge, so he did not continue to think about Daphne, but occasionally used a "staring" look to scare Miss Greengrass for fun.

This was just a small episode in daily life. What is worth mentioning is that through this incident, Ian realized that not only was there no electricity in Hogwarts, but the use of electrical appliances was also not allowed.

It was obviously cast under some kind of magic or interference. Even if Ian could produce a stable rated current through alchemy, he still could not use Muggles' electronic products here.

"Only magically modified items are allowed to function..."

Ian didn't quite understand the reason for this situation. When he asked the portraits, they only told him one thing - there is a story behind every school rule.

Perhaps something had happened in Hogwarts before, or perhaps there were similar situations in the entire wizarding world. Ian's limited experience did not allow him to guess the answer to the question.

"No matter what, there is definitely a future for magic plus technology. It is definitely more promising than a single skill tree." Ian has always had his own alchemical ideas in this regard. For example, it is the fuel that limits the flight range of a spacecraft, but if it is a spacecraft driven by magic, it will immediately be different.

The expensive space fuel is both heavy and expensive. It's not like the magical wizards who only need three steamed buns a day... maybe with a little pickle?

Ian looked at the pickle box on the shelf again. At this moment, accompanied by footsteps from the direction of the door, Gilderoy Grindelwald, who had talked with Dumbledore for a long time at night, finally came back.

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for quite some time." His attitude towards politeness has always changed a lot. Gilderoy Grindelwald seems to be in a good mood now. "It's just that our headmaster is too enthusiastic. I wanted to leave as soon as possible, but he still talked to me about many things in the past."

No one knew whether this was true or not. Ian could not sense Gilderoy Grindelwald's inner thoughts. He could only judge from the smile on Gilderoy Grindelwald's face that the old man did have a good conversation with Dumbledore.

"You will never guess what I saw. He received a letter from someone unknown. He treasured the letter so much that he didn't even want me to touch it."

Gilderoy Grindelwald walked into the office cheerfully. "Aurora must have told you about our family's talent. Our stingy headmaster was obviously worried that I would "see" something in that letter. He didn't know that when I walked in, I saw a scene that he absolutely didn't want to happen."

"No matter what is in that letter, someone will steal a photo from it in the near future." Gilderoy Grindelwald looked a little gloating. "If he let me read the letter, I would definitely tell him, but now...ha, let the stingy person worry about it himself."

Maybe old people have the same bad taste as children.

Ian lowered his head.

No one dared to talk.

He could trust Dumbledore, but obviously did not dare to trust Grindelwald, so he could tell Dumbledore some things, but he certainly did not want Grindelwald to know.

of course.

If Grindelwald cheated, there would be nothing we could do. The only thing that the cheaters couldn't check was the cheaters, even if they were just Xiaokai, but that was a nearly unsolvable situation.

"Maybe it's a letter from Aberforth?" Ian had become accustomed to pretending to be stupid. No matter if it was useful or not, it was better to pretend than not to pretend at all. To be honest, it was really tiring. There were too many old monsters. After he came to Hogwarts, he had gained an additional ability called [Acting].

Perhaps because Ian had already told Grindelwald that he was going to Dumbledore to complain, Grindelwald did not seem to connect him with the letter.

At least that's how it looks on the surface.

"He and his brother have not had any contact for a long time. Even though I have been staying in one place and have not come out, I still understand the situation in the outside world."

Gilderoy Grindelwald raised his eyebrows. "This involves something in the past... From your expression, it is obvious that you already know what happened back then."

I can only say that Ian does have acting skills, but the level is not very high.

“Only a little.”

Ian hurriedly drank the tea tactically. The tea was clear in color, with an elegant light green, as fresh as young leaves in spring, but drinking it made him feel like he had licked some Coptis chinensis on his tongue.

It was really bitter... Ian, who didn't believe it, took another bite and found it was really bitter and strange. He suspected that this was a prank played on him by Gilderoy Grindelwald on Halloween.

"Hahahahaha~"

Ian took another sip, still grinning, like someone who was drinking iced Americano for the first time. Gilderoy Grindelwald didn't care about Ian's curious cat-like reaction.

His expression was somewhat regretful, and his tone was also remorseful. "That tragedy changed everything. It also means that some prophecies will indeed make the prophet pay a price."

"Our talents allow us to see some of the future, but if we cannot correctly interpret the fragments seen by the prophecy, the prophet will suffer the backlash from the prophecy."

"I have been cautious enough now, but I still feel that I am not cautious enough... I hope you can keep this in mind too." Gilderoy Grindelwald looked at Ian meaningfully.

"I'll alert Aurora."

Ian blinked and continued drinking his tea.

"I'm not worried about the child. She always has some...unique interpretations of the future she sees. This may be a talent that allows her to avoid punishment." Gilderoy Grindelwald's expression was a little awkward, and his tone of voice was helpless.

"Is the predicted thing bound to happen?" Ian was not old enough to take divination classes, and he was somewhat curious about one of the most mysterious magics in his world.

"That depends on how many wizards believe in it... I generally don't reveal this little-known answer to others, because it almost represents the common weakness of prophets." Gilderoy Grindelwald put his hand on Ian's head and rubbed Ian's still thick hair.

"Of course, for a lovable little wizard like you, I am willing to answer all your questions." Gilderoy Grindelwald stood behind Ian.

One of his eyes turned slightly white, and then the scene reflected in his eyes changed, but the scene he saw did not change from the scene he had seen over the years.

"Oh, by the way, if the things you want to predict are subversive enough, even the most outstanding prophet will find it difficult to truly see the future. I think this is also closely related to the influence of history." Gilderoy Grindelwald's voice was very gentle, and he still patiently added to Ian's explanation.

His eyes returned to normal, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly. He was not disappointed because he did not see the new scene. For him, just seeing the flags being raised in the scene was enough.

"What if I'm a fortune teller, and I make a prediction that I didn't actually see, but because I'm so famous, everyone believes my prediction?"

Ian watched Gilderoy Grindelwald approaching him. Since he couldn't run away anyway, he could only learn as much knowledge as possible from the prophet who had left his mark in history.

"That's a great question. Almost no one would make such an assumption. Wizards can indeed guide the direction of the future, because the future is uncertain before it becomes the present."

"Different prophets may see different futures, and can choose to direct the present towards the future they want. But for your situation of assuming a future that has not been predicted, even those famous prophets may not be able to give you an accurate answer to this question." Gilderoy Grindelwald sat opposite Ian and made himself a cup of tea that made Ian feel bitter and dizzy.

"Ok."

Ian continued to drink his tea with some regret.

"What do you taste?"

Gilderoy Grindelwald suddenly asked curiously.

"Bitter, pure bitterness."

Ian answered honestly.

"Yes, this proves that you are living a happy life." Gilderoy Grindelwald's words were very interesting, and Ian couldn't help but look at the teacup in his hand thoughtfully.

"To me, this is a sweet tea, but it has changed its taste recently." Gilderoy Grindelwald chuckled and took a sip, then suddenly responded to Ian's previous question, "In fact, as far as I know, Merlin once made a similar attempt, and in the end he warned future generations in his legacy not to be curious about it..."

A response that seems a bit vague.

But it obviously hides some accurate information.

"That's okay too?"

Ian's eyes widened in shock.

"Wizards are magical enough, Ian, but I can't give you a definite answer now." Gilderoy Grindelwald smiled brightly with Lockhart's face.

"Because some things still need time to complete verification."

His words are very informative.

Ian's already wide eyes widened even further.

"What did you do?"

Ian couldn't help but ask.

"Of course it's just a small misleading. As for the purpose..." There was a gleam in Grindelwald's eyes, but Ian, who was sitting opposite him, didn't have such good eyesight, otherwise Ian might be able to see it clearly. Every flash of the pupil represented a different future that Grindelwald had seen.

The scenes are different and there are huge differences, but in almost every scene, the glory that seems to be constant in history is absolutely full of cold death - hundreds of prophecies in the past few decades are without exception.

Greater benefits come at a price. Grindelwald's prophecies never contained the future that Dumbledore wanted to see, but always contained a smaller price and a greater prospect.

only.

"It's time to put an end to the stupid things our headmaster might do. After all, some things require the participation of great people like him so that we can get the answer to your question just now." Grindelwald stood up and straightened his clothes. His single eye finally fixed on a foggy scene.

The fog is dissipating.

But things in the fog are still not clear enough - Grindelwald not long ago did not completely deceive Dumbledore, he also threw himself into challenging the highest achievement of the prophets.

"Of course, your participation is indispensable."

The smile on Grindelwald's face became even brighter, and his tone was meaningful.

"Professor, where do you want to take me? Hogsmeade?" Although Ian would not be having a small class tonight due to the holiday, he still didn't want to waste time learning new knowledge every night.

Time is proficiency, professor!
Of course, if Grindelwald only took him to Hogsmeade, he might have found an opportunity to bring the book "Advanced Dark Arts" which was placed in Snape's cabin to school.

"A little further."

Gilderoy Grindelwald walked to the desk and took out a golden box from it. He threw the box to Ian who was sitting across the desk with some disgust.

"what is this?"

Ian looked at the cube in his hand without any gaps. He felt the weight of the gold and wanted to verify it with his mouth, but he didn't dare to do so because Grindelwald was here.

"A container containing something that Dumbledore didn't allow me to deal with." Gilderoy Grindelwald changed his scarf and admired himself in front of the mirror for a long time.

"It will be useful immediately."

Gilderoy Grindelwald adjusted his clothes, walked to the cabinet where various collectibles were placed, turned around and stretched out his hand to Ian without saying a word.

"Horcrux?"

Ian shook it.

next moment.

Ian understood the purpose of the Korean kimchi box - Gilderoy Grindelwald pinched the kimchi box with his other hand, and an invisible force seemed to surge in the air, enveloping them.

Ian and Gilderoy Grindelwald disappeared directly in the office. It was obvious that the pickle box was made into a door key. The surrounding scene seemed to be distorted and stretched by a powerful magical force until it completely disappeared. The whistling wind and colorful colors filled Ian and Gilderoy Grindelwald.

Spinning, flying... and even jumping a little. It was like riding an invisible train, heading towards a distant destination.

It was much better than the feeling of Apparition. When the power of the portkey gradually weakened, Ian's vision became clear again, and he found himself being taken to the wilderness.

"The Gaunt family once lived here. Do you know where this is?" Gilderoy Grindelwald beside him still maintained the appearance of Lockhart. After all, he was still imprisoned, so he certainly couldn't use his appearance to move around, otherwise it would be difficult to explain what was going on with the "Grindelwald" who was now imprisoned in Nurmengard. "Professor, are we here to catch the old corpse in the mountain village?" Ian was fooled by Dumbledore once, so of course he wouldn't be fooled a second time, so he just looked around curiously.

Night fell on Halloween night.

The sky seemed to be stained with thick ink, the stars were hidden, and the moonlight seemed to be avoiding at this time. Only a few faint rays of light barely penetrated the thick clouds.

far away.

A dilapidated wooden shed stood in the wilderness, with a ray of moonlight shining on the mottled old house, adding a bit of weirdness to the place.

The trees around were twisted and dense, as if they were witnesses of nature's curse on this land. Their branches drooped, as if they were countless ghost hands, silently reaching out in the night, trying to catch every creature that strayed into this place. The wind whimpered through the treetops, making a whimpering sound like the whispers of dead souls.

"Old corpse in the mountain village? You are right. There is a Horcrux here. We need to hide it from our principal so that he has no chance to touch it."

Gilderoy Grindelwald walked forward with Ian.

His voice was somewhat teasing, "Of course, I might also take revenge on you. After all, Aurora said that you think I am not as good as Dumbledore. Maybe I will bury you right here."

Maybe there was no one around.

Grindelwald deliberately changed himself Gilderoy back to his original form. The handsome old man made a sinister expression, as if he was going to ask Ian if he was Dumbledore's favorite child the next moment.

"Goo~"

Ian swallowed.

Can you not be nervous?
He is really Dumbledore's favorite child in Hogwarts!
Ian's hand had already touched his wand. Of course, Grindelwald could not hide his little action, but it made Grindelwald laugh happily.

"Aurora is right, you are really brave, little boy." After saying that, Grindelwald walked in front of Ian. Their destination was obviously the dilapidated wooden shed in the distance.

"We all know how poor Aurora's reading comprehension is!"

Ian quickly defended himself as he followed.

"Tsk tsk, you are complaining about my blood relatives in front of me. I might really get unhappy and leave you here and let you walk back to Hogwarts." Grindelwald is the best face-changing king. He was raising his eyebrows as if he was joking in the previous second, and his tone became serious in the next second.

This is obviously more threatening than being buried alive.

"Aurora and I are good friends. She definitely won't think I'm complaining about her. I promised to prepare a Christmas present for her. She will definitely cry if she doesn't receive it."

"Besides, I have prepared Christmas gifts for you and Dumbledore. You may not like Christmas gifts, but you don't want Dumbledore to not receive a decent Christmas gift this year, right?" Ian's tone was full of tea flavor. He was obviously betting that Grindelwald and Dumbledore were really good friends.

"Hahaha~"

Grindelwald laughed very loudly, which disturbed the sleeping creatures in the forest. Many black shadows fluttered on the trees, probably birds resting on the branches at night.

"Someone."

Before reaching the shed in the distance, Ian saw several men in suits who were not sleeping at night and were actually following a nun in circles in this mountainous area. Just like the hen and chicks in the game of Eagle Catches Chicken, the nun was walking in front, and several men in suits were blindfolded and put their hands on the shoulders of the person in front.

The nun seemed to be looking for something with these men in suits - when Ian found them, Grindelwald's laughter obviously disturbed them.

"wizard!"

The nun screamed as soon as she saw what Ian and Grindelwald were wearing, which made the men in suits shudder and tear off the cloth covering their eyes.

They were trying to take something out of their waists, but all they could see was a dark mass at night. Ian immediately felt his scalp tingling, and when he raised his wand, a blue flame shone.

But Grindelwald was obviously much faster than him.

"Everything is forgotten!"

This is probably the best interpretation of the character being cosplayed. Gilderoy Grindelwald used Lockhart's signature skill and made several Muggles faint on the ground with their eyes rolled back.

"Some people say that I am a dark wizard trained by Durmstrang, but I think that Durmstrang is obviously far inferior to Hogwarts in training dark wizards."

"First there was Tom Riddle, and now there's Ian Prince? Wow, you guys are really good." Grindelwald turned his head and watched Ian slowly put away the Fiendfyre.

“That’s a gun!”

Ian was shocked.

He actually wanted to get to the heart of the matter.

"I know what they want to get. In fact, these people who use squibs to find us have existed many, many years ago."

Grindelwald looked at Ian meaningfully and said, "It's hard for you kids today to imagine what happened to the wizards who were captured by this group of people back then... When I was in Japan, I saw them completely dissect a wizard, and every organ was used to study why we can do magic."

"A lot of people say that my ideas back then were extreme, but obviously some Muggles are even more extreme than me. The strong prey on the weak, this is the inevitable conflict between different species." Grindelwald didn't know if he had deliberately waited for this time to bring Ian here to "accidentally encounter" this group of wizard seekers.

No matter what the situation is.

He was indeed using these people to preach to Ian, "Look at them. When they found out we were wizards, their immediate reaction said a lot."

"I never wanted to exterminate Muggles, but I don't want Muggles to exterminate us... Maybe there are friendly people among them, but if the initiative is on our side, I believe there will be more friendly people and not less. Tolerance and peace? It can only be guaranteed to be realized 100% when we are the winners." It has to be said that even after being imprisoned for many years, Grindelwald's speaking ability is still as outstanding as what Ian had seen in Dumbledore's memory.

"Dumbledore wouldn't let me learn this from you."

Ian quickly brought up the old headmaster. He felt that he was being indoctrinated with dangerous ideas, and he didn't want to be brainwashed by Grindelwald like those saints.

"He also didn't allow me to kill anyone."

Grindelwald spread his hands and looked at the unconscious people with some regret. "But he didn't say that he doesn't allow me to help others regain their youth."

Ok.

As expected, the old ones are more ruthless.

This is probably just restoring other people's memories to factory settings.

"Don't worry, I don't want to change your mind. I just want to tell you some realities." After saying this, Grindelwald did not talk about the conflict between Muggles and wizards again.

They came to an ordinary-looking old shed. The walls of the old house were covered with moss, and the tiles on the roof were falling off, revealing the rafters inside. The area around the old house was overgrown with weeds, mixed with some yellow nettles, whose leaves glowed green in the weak moonlight.

This was clearly an ominous place, as one or two nocturnal creatures were roaming around in this desolate land. Their cries were sharp and shrill, adding a touch of horror to this eerie scene.

"Oh, those people will never find this place even if they search for their whole lives. Not to mention the gap between Squibs and wizards, the gap between wizards is equally huge." Grindelwald looked at the legendary family mansion in front of him. It was located in the tangled trees between two steep hillsides, half hidden and half visible.

Ian was also observing with curiosity. Dense nettles grew around the house, all the way up to the windows, which were very small and covered with thick, old dirt.

And on the gate was nailed an S-shaped dead snake.

It symbolizes the pure-blood family of Salazar Slytherin, and this is the house where Voldemort's mother Merope Gaunt, uncle Morfin Gaunt, and grandfather Marvolo Gaunt lived. Perhaps the group of Muggles that Ian and Grindelwald encountered knew about the existence of wizards nearby from the news passed down by Voldemort's father who escaped.

"There are traces of magic here."

Ian waved his wand, and lines of hidden protective magic appeared. Grindelwald beside him nodded approvingly and raised his wand and waved it as well.

immediately.

More protective magic that Ian had not seen appeared.

"Sigh~"

Ian had already felt how much Tom Riddle valued the protection of this place. He was afraid that if the group of Squibs and Muggles really found this old house, they would suffer a very miserable end. He identified the means used in the old house. In comparison, Grindelwald's punishment just now was really a blessing for those people.

"If you ask me, it would be better to find a stone, make a Horcrux and throw it into the sea." Grindelwald curled his lips and wiped away all the protections with his wand in disgust. There were so many protections that even someone with his strength took a long time to use, which shows how crazy Tom Riddle was.

"I think he might as well make the entire planet into his Horcrux." Ian blinked, and the old man and the young man began to comment on the famous mysterious man Voldemort.

"If he had that ability, would he still use it as a Horcrux?" Grindelwald pushed open the door nailed with rotten snake bones, and a gust of dust from the house blew directly in his face.

No one had visited this place for many years. Ian covered his nose in disgust. After cleaning up, he was finally able to see the layout of the room clearly - it can only be said that the furnishings in the room are really very simple, with broken chairs everywhere and a broken table.

The kerosene lampshades on the wall were also mottled and it was difficult to restore them to normal even after cleaning. Even for Muggles, such living environment was definitely considered poor.

It's hard to imagine that this is where the descendants of Leitlin live.

It can only be said that the Gaunt family was once very rich and prominent, but their wealth had long been squandered. By the time of the last generation of the family, they could only live in such a simple house. The last generation of the family members included father Marvolo, son Morfin and daughter Merope. And Merope was the biological mother of Voldemort Tom Marvolo Riddle.

"The things are here." Although Grindelwald had never been here before, his eyes were fixed on one of the broken cabinets the moment he entered the door.

This is probably the power of prophets.

"Take out the box I gave you and open it." Grindelwald walked to the cabinet, opened the drawer, and an extremely exquisite ring appeared before his eyes.

There was a black gem on the top of the ring. He did not touch this legendary treasure, but turned to look at Ian who was studying the golden box.

"Click~"

It took Ian a while to finally understand the working principle of this thing. After triggering the mechanism, the inside of the cube-shaped golden box cracked open like petals.

There was already a locket inside - Slytherin's locket.

Ian was a little confused when he saw the locket that should have belonged to a certain family appear here. He looked up suddenly and saw Grindelwald looking at him with a smile.

"This thing..."

The main reason why Ian lost control of his expression was that he felt that things were a bit too outrageous. Harry Potter hasn't even started school yet, so how come three of Voldemort's Horcruxes have already been found?

"Put this ring together with the things in your box." Grindelwald signaled Ian to go over, and then watched Ian pick up the Resurrection Stone from the drawer.

He obviously didn't want to touch the Horcrux.

"Although I don't think you would do anything stupid, I still think I should remind you not to think about wearing this ring, at least not before clearing the curse on it."

Grindelwald gave the instructions seriously.

Ian nodded.

He looked down at the two Horcruxes in the golden box and still felt a little dreamy.

"The Resurrection Stone, Slytherin's pendant." Grindelwald walked forward and just stared at the things in the box calmly, without any of the pursuit for the Deathly Hallows that he had in the past.

"There is a close connection between them, and our poor Dark Lord didn't even realize this." His words stunned Ian.

"What connection?"

This was clearly an area beyond Ian's knowledge.

"I don't know either, but you can study it slowly. I just read more books." Grindelwald spread his hands and walked straight towards the door.

"You want to leave this with me?"

Ian quickly followed Grindelwald out of the shed.

"Dumbledore doesn't want to destroy it, and I don't want it to stay here and disgust me. You are the only person he and I trust. You must not let Dumbledore see the Resurrection Stone."

“This thing can’t resurrect people, and even the ones summoned aren’t the real dead.” Grindelwald reminded Ian and was about to take out the Korean kimchi box that served as a door key.

"Wait for me."

Ian quickly raised his hand to interrupt Grindelwald's actions.

Under the puzzled gaze of the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Ian began to run around the old Gaunt house, like a lost ant or looking for something.

"What are you doing?"

More than half an hour later.

Grindelwald finally couldn't help asking. He saw Ian come back and use the things in the house to make various tools, and then he excitedly dived into the depths of the jungle.

"I still have to go back and prepare for tomorrow's class!"

Grindelwald regretted not spraying mosquito repellent potion before going out. He couldn't help but give an unpleasant reminder to Ian who was making various noises in the distance.

"I'm coming!"

Ian, sweating profusely, ran over carrying a large backpack.

"what have you done!?"

Facts have proved that the prophet is indeed not omniscient. The shock and horror in Grindelwald's voice are no less than that of Snape when he saw Ian brewing the love potion.

no way.

Who made Grindelwald see... so many intact human bones in Ian's backpack? The number was terrifying, and there were hundreds of lost teeth alone.

"You dug up the graves of the entire Gaunt family!?"

There will always be people who are horrified.

Why can't it be the first generation?
