The Wolf of Los Angeles.

Chapter 298 Falling out

At the door of the hotel suite, Paris looked at Britney, who had calmed down and collapsed, and said to the hotel manager who came over to inquire, "I will compensate for all the damaged items and decorations. Please don't disturb us for the time being."

The hotel manager knew Paris and said, "Okay, but please be careful with your voice and don't disturb other guests."

Paris said, "I will."

The hotel manager then left.

Paris closed the door and went to see Britney, only to find that she had fallen asleep in a daze.

She tried to pull her away, but she was very heavy, so she simply took a goose down quilt and covered her with it.

Paris had never seen Britney like this before. She sat on the sofa thinking about what had just happened and felt it was horrible.

If this continues, Britney will definitely go insane.

Paris left the living room, went into the bedroom, called Hawke, and quickly told him the situation.

In the Twitter office, Hawke considered everything and said, "You do what we planned, and I'll send someone to assist you."

This was the first time Paris had done something like this, and she was unsure: "Hurry up and get someone over here."

Considering that they were all women, Hawke called Campos and asked him to send Betty and Fiona over.

Paris found Britney's cell phone and removed the SIM card as Hawke said.

This meant that Jamie couldn't contact Britney immediately.

Half an hour later, there was a knock on the door of the suite, and Paris saw a strange Latin American woman.

Fiona whispered a few words and then reminded him, "If everything goes well, I will accompany you and Britney home as your new assistant."

Paris asked, "You can't come now?"

"I'm a new face." Fiona said quickly: "Britney just made a fool of herself. If I show up, it might arouse her suspicion. But if you're alone, many things will be easier to say. Only when she wakes up herself, it's appropriate for me to show up."

Paris took out her cell phone, entered her own number, dialed it and returned it: "Wait for my call."

Fiona went downstairs.

Paris returned to the room and waited for a while, and Britney finally woke up.

She saw the mess on the ground and was stunned for a moment. Then she recalled and said, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. I suddenly lost control."

Paris was a little nervous. She took a deep breath and organized her words in her mind: "I came to you today for this matter. I didn't expect that I would answer a phone call. Before I could tell you, you went crazy."

Britney looked apologetic: "I don't know what happened."

"I filmed it, you can take a look, it's horrible." Paris took out her laptop, opened the video transferred to the hard drive, and clicked the play button.

Britney stared at the screen, and when she saw the crazy woman, she lowered her head in shame.

Is that me? I'm totally crazy!

Even crazier than the last time he smashed the glass door.

Britney was about to cry: "I wasn't like this before, why did it become like this?"

Paris said: "I came to you today for this very reason."

She took out the mouse and clicked on another audio file. "I got this from Fox. A freelance reporter sold a piece of news about your father to Fox TV. My Running with Paris has always been in cooperation with Fox. The producer who bought the news is familiar with me and knows that we are close friends, so he notified me. After listening to it, I bought it back."

If it were anyone else, Britney might have been skeptical, but she heard the conversation: "My dad?"

While the audio was playing, Paris clicked on a few more photos and showed them to Britney: "The reporter also took photos."

Britney recognized them immediately. One was her father Jamie, and the other was a man she had met at the Hilton party, but she couldn't remember his name.

The conversation continued, and Britney's expression became uglier the more she listened. Her brain wasn't working very well, but she wasn't a fool.

The two men discussed recklessly how to drive her crazy, then control her and do some asshole things.

Thinking about what happened to her in the past two days, Britney finally began to suspect her father.

She suddenly remembered what her agent Larry Rudolph had said some time ago, that all the money she earned had been embezzled and her account was empty.

Britney didn't quite believe it before, but now she is becoming more and more suspicious.

Once this person develops a prejudice or suspicion against someone, he will inevitably doubt all his actions.

Britney told Paris about her agent.

The latter had received Hawke's advice and immediately said, "Ask your agent, and then check the account directly through the bank. The financial manager is your father's man, so don't alarm him."

Britney called Larry Rudolph, then contacted the bank and discovered that her two accounts combined had less than $5000.

She still remembers that this year's revenue exceeded 10 million US dollars.

There are only two people who can mobilize funds in this account, Britney and Jamie Spears.

Facts once again proved that everything said in the recording was correct.

Paris conferred with Britney for a while, and the latter called Larry Rudolph to come over.

Larry Rudolph had listened to the recording, seen the scene, the pictures and the video, and glanced at Paris inconspicuously.

With his experience, he felt something was wrong.

But Larry didn't say anything about it because it was in his interest as a broker.

If Britney really drives Jamie Spears crazy and is completely controlled by him, her acting career will be ruined.

Larry, the agent, currently earns millions of dollars from Britney Spears. Paris was somewhat apprehensive, but soon discovered that things were just as Hawke had expected, and the agent was completely on Britney Spears' side.

Larry was very angry and said to Britney: "What I said to you before is not even half of what Jamie did. He is not a qualified father, but a vampire. He only wants to control your life and suck your last drop of blood!"

Britney was very angry and felt something burning in her chest, but she had been controlled by her father for many years and the influence was engraved in her bones.

She said, "Maybe he just made a mistake for a moment."

Larry's eyes went dark and he almost vomited blood on the spot. He thought to himself, you've been hanging out in the Mickey Mouse Club since the early 1990s, and in your ten-year Hollywood career, you haven't gained any experience or lessons?
Paris's brain wasn't working very well either. She wanted to speak but forgot the words for a moment, so she said, "I'm going to the bathroom. I'll talk to you when I come back."

Entering the bathroom, she took out her notepad and looked at the information Hawke had specifically asked her to record during their discussion.

With these as hints, Paris knew what to do.

Paris came out of the bathroom and regained her confidence. She said to Britney, "Since you are still unwilling to give up and still have fantasies, why don't we try to see whether he treats you as his daughter or just wants to suck your blood!"

Britney has feelings for Jamie: "I want to... see it with my own eyes."

Larry was direct: "What do you want to do?"

Paris first said to Larry: "You leave here in a while and call Jamie to ask him to come out and meet. Britney and I will go home."

Then she looked at Britney and said, "When Jamie comes home, don't tell him that you were crazy today. If he asks, just say no."

Britney still held on to her fantasy: "Okay."

Paris added: "I asked my assistant to bring some things over and decorate them at your house. I won't allow anyone to hurt my friends!"

The three talked for a while, and Larry left quickly. He went out of the hotel and made a phone call to meet Jamie.

Soon, Fiona knocked on the door of the private room.

Paris left her phone number and asked the hotel manager to estimate the loss and send the bill directly to her. She got into Fiona's car from the underground parking lot and went directly to Beverly Boulevard and arrived at Britney's home.

The car was driven into an underground garage that was seldom used and was well covered.

The three of them entered the villa.

Fiona asked Britney a few simple questions and found out that there were hidden cameras installed in several rooms where the father and daughter often went.

By now, Paris had basically stopped talking.

Leave all matters to the people sent by Hawke and wait for the results.

Paris and Fiona went upstairs and into Britney's bedroom.

The latter took out his laptop, called up the camera footage, and checked the situation on the first floor.

Paris quickly took out her notepad, reviewed the key points, and familiarized herself with the next steps in order to deal with the next situation.

In several places, she called Hawke specifically because Hawke anticipated three developments.

Downstairs, Britney sat in the living room, feeling uneasy.

She didn't know how long she waited before Jamie Spears walked into the living room.

When the latter saw his daughter, he asked, "Where have you been? You didn't even say hello to me. Do you know I'm worried?"

These words made Britney relax a little, and she felt that her father still had feelings for her.

Jamie asked with seeming concern, "No accidents happened today, did they?"

"No." Britney still remembers: "I've been fine, maybe I was under too much pressure that day."

Jamie was slightly surprised. Manninger had mentioned that drugs would develop resistance over time, but this was only a few times used? Wasn't resistance developing too quickly?
Thinking about the appointment with Larry Rudolph just now, the two had another big fight and completely fell out with each other.

Jamie felt that he had to control Britney as soon as possible, otherwise if an adult started making a scene, it would be difficult for him as a father to handle it.

Fortunately, he made a patch in advance: "It seems that the beauty water is effective. Wait a moment, I will get some more."

Britney sat still: "Okay."

Jamie went into the kitchen, closed the door, took out mineral water from the refrigerator, poured it into a large decanter, took out a box from his pocket, took out the medicine powder and poured it in, and added some sugar.

Stir well, dissolve the medicine completely in the water, and pour it into a kettle.

Jamie took it out and placed it on the low table in front of Britney.

In the bedroom on the second floor, Fiona saw everything clearly through the surveillance camera and told Paris: "Call Larry and ask him to find a way to lure Jamie away."

Paris quickly called.

In the living room, Britney, with her last fantasy, asked, "Dad, can I not drink this?"

"No, you have to drink it." Jamie acted like a strict father: "These can cure your illness."

Britney stopped talking because she would lose control of herself if she continued talking.

Jamie's cell phone rang, and it was the financial manager calling.

Larry Rudolph wanted to check the accounts and had a lawyer come to the office.

Jamie cursed to himself and prepared to go out.

Before leaving, she specifically reminded Britney: "Be sure to drink the beauty water on time!"

This was not enough. He said, "Dear, go shopping with Paris to relax yourself." (End of this chapter)
