Chapter 543 Unobstructed Dharma Assembly Proves the Dao Heart, Beheading Seeks the Dao and Advances
Chapter 543 Unobstructed Dharma Assembly Proves the Dao Heart, Beheading Seeks the Dao and Advances to Return to Emptiness (Seeking rewards and subscriptions.)
The summit of Mount Tai stands alone, a thousand feet high.
The jade wall of the spiritual realm reflects the ancient stars between heaven and earth, and a pure and ethereal spiritual energy flows as if it were a tangible substance, converging into a sea of white mist, supporting this sacred spiritual peak of the Taiqing Sect.
At the center of the peak, there is a huge Yin-Yang altar carved from a single piece of "Enlightenment Jade", with a diameter of over a hundred feet. On it, talismans flow and communicate with the primordial energy of heaven and earth.
These precious jades have the effect of protecting one from all evils, warding off all poisons and evil spirits, and also have a miraculous effect of calming the mind and spirit during cultivation.
Ordinary cultivators would not be able to obtain a piece of Enlightenment Jade, even if they wanted to wear it to aid their cultivation. Yet here, it was carved into a huge altar.
At this moment, this Yin-Yang Dharma Platform is where the thoughts of countless cultivators in the Earthly Immortal Realm converge—the Daoist Lu Cheng's Daoist practice site for the "Unobstructed Dharma Assembly, Beheading to Seek the Dao".
After a century of dedicated cultivation, Lu Cheng's Xuan Tian Divine Skill has returned to its perfect state across all twenty-four realms.
The innate divine and demonic origin imprint was completely repaired under the nourishment of the power of the Boundless Blood Sea Sword, and its spirituality even surpassed that of the past. It was like a dormant ancient true spirit beast, containing earth-shattering magical power.
Having cultivated to this point, the path to the Void Return Realm was now clearly visible to Lu Cheng, and he could ascend step by step to unlock the Heavenly Gate.
However, to take this final step perfectly, one must have all four elements—"Dao Heart, Dao Method, Dao Practice, and Dao Luck"—in perfect harmony.
The Dao heart must be like the perfect golden elixir, enduring countless eons without being damaged or worn down, possessing inner spirituality.
The Daoist method must be thorough and comprehensive, and its own system and the cultivator's practice must be sufficient to bear the Dao fruit of returning to the void.
To achieve true enlightenment, one must have a profound understanding of the laws of heaven and earth and one's own great path.
To attain good fortune, one needs the support of destiny and the favor of heaven and earth.
While Lu Cheng could force a breakthrough, he would then need a long period of a thousand years of cultivation to make up for the losses.
Lu Cheng Daoist had cultivated for many years and deeply understood the principles involved. Ordinary secluded cultivation and painstaking effort were no longer enough to help him take this step perfectly.
He needs an unprecedented trial, a test that can shake the peak of the ninth level of the primordial spirit and lead directly to the ultimate Dao and the return to emptiness.
Thus came the "Unobstructed Dharma Assembly, Beheading for the Dao," which shook the entire Immortal Realm.
In fact, normally speaking, for ordinary cultivators to advance to the Void Returning stage, unless they are innately gifted cultivators with the five elements spiritual roots, they all need to first complete the five elements and replenish their Dao foundation.
However, Lu Cheng cultivates the Five Qi in his chest and the Five Elements Immortal Light. His innate Five Elements are already perfect, so he doesn't need to put in this effort anymore.
What does "unhindered" mean? It means without any cover or concealment, with doors wide open. Regardless of whether one is an immortal, mortal, demon, or monster, regardless of one's cultivation level or social status, as long as one's understanding of the Dao is profound, one can enter the Taiqing Sect's Taiyue Peak to sit and discuss the Dao with Lu Cheng, and to discuss one's learning three times.
What is "seeking the Way by beheading"? It means that if I am defeated, I will cut off my own head to thank the other party. Of course, if the other party does not want it, they can take any treasures or even all the treasures present. It means that I can give up my life, let alone any material possessions.
Of course, the first of the three topics was posed by Lu Cheng, the second by the debater, and the third by Lu Cheng as well. This was the only advantage of the gatekeeper: he could seek the Dao from the other party in his area of expertise.
If one fails to achieve their goal even in their area of expertise, there is nothing more to say about the defeat.
After a century of cultivation, Lu Cheng sent out news of the Dharma assembly through his disciples.
Furthermore, countless rare treasures, divine elixirs, and magical artifacts were displayed atop Mount Tai. From that day onward, countless orbs of light floated in the void around the summit of Mount Tai, radiating precious light from within.
There are Void Returning Crystal Cores taken from ancient beasts, containing exquisite fragments of laws; there are Xuanhuang Merit Pagodas brought from the Tongxuan Realm, radiating boundless pure light; there are Seven Cultivation Primordial Spirit Pearls spinning rapidly, their demonic power contained within; and there are countless immortal gold materials, longevity pills, and spiritual root herbs that are rarely seen even in the Earthly Immortal Realm... A dazzling array of treasures, surrounded by celestial glow, making the entire Mount Tai resemble the "Treasure Rock" of ancient legends.
Such a feat is enough to drive the vast majority of cultivators in the world mad.
A hundred years of cultivation, three years of spreading the teachings throughout the world; when the three-year period is over, the Dharma Assembly will begin.
As dawn broke and the first wisp of purple aura appeared in the east, it was overtaken by the even stronger spiritual energy and celestial light emanating from the summit of Mount Tai.
On the Yin-Yang altar, Daoist Lu Cheng slowly opened his eyes, his gaze deep and profound, as if containing the ancient starry universe.
"The Way has no high or low, but the Dharma has true and false. Today, I, a humble Taoist, have set up this unobstructed Dharma assembly, offering my head in the name of seeking the Way, to invite fellow Taoists from all over the world to jointly comprehend the Great Way and verify what we have learned."
Lu Cheng Shenjun's voice was not loud, but it resounded clearly in the hearts of everyone nearby, like the imperial edict of the Great Dao, carrying a strange power of comfort and enlightenment.
"Today's topics are three: First, what is the Dao Mind? Second, of the myriad methods of the Dao, which is the foundation? Third, what is returning to emptiness?"
As the voice faded, the void around the Yin-Yang altar rippled slightly, revealing three rows of golden Daoist characters—the three topics themselves. The characters hung in the air, each one radiating spiritual light.
After a brief silence, a beam of light shot from the distant mountains and landed on the edge of the Yin-Yang Dharma Platform.
He was an old Taoist priest with white hair, from a medium-sized sect, and his cultivation was at the late Nascent Soul stage.
The old Taoist priest first bowed solemnly to Lu Cheng and said, "Lord Lu, I am unworthy. I have spent four thousand years cultivating the Tao in two lifetimes, but it has been in vain. I wish to ask you to teach me 'what is the Tao Heart'?"
Lu Cheng nodded slightly upon hearing this: "Please speak, fellow Daoist."
The old Taoist took a deep breath and said loudly, "The heart of the Tao is the heart that seeks the Tao. It is steadfast and unwavering, like refined gold that has been refined a hundred times and will not be worn down by countless eons. This is the true heart of the Tao."
This is a common understanding in the cultivation world, and many cultivators below the Yin-Yang Dharma Platform also nodded in agreement.
Lu Cheng remained calm and countered with a question:
"If the heart of the Dao is merely a stubborn rock, even if it remains unyielding through countless eons, it will not manifest its spirituality or generate wisdom. Can this rock attain the Dao? In the pursuit of the Dao, is 'seeking' preceding 'the Dao'? If one is fixated on 'seeking,' is one already falling into the inferior path of 'attachment to self'? If the heart of the Dao is only stubbornly firm, what will happen when it encounters the gentlest water or the invisible wind?"
Here, Lu Cheng uses imagery: his will is like a fierce fire, and his wisdom is like a gentle stream. He is no longer discussing the Dao, but rather offering guidance:
You have cultivated for four thousand years, so why haven't you even broken through to the Nascent Soul realm? The key lies here.
Lu Cheng's voice was calm, yet every word struck the old Taoist's heart like a thousand pounds.
The white-haired old Taoist was speechless. His understanding of "unyielding Taoist heart" seemed thin and one-sided under Lu Cheng's questioning of "combining strength and gentleness" and "breaking through ego".
He attempted to refute his arguments, citing Daoist scriptures and classics, but Lu Cheng always managed to point out the flaws in his words from a higher-dimensional perspective, getting straight to the heart of the matter:
"Such people, whose hearts are clouded by the Dao, have long lost the will to reflect on themselves and turn back. They are obsessed with the path of the Dao, and even though they are entangled in karmic obstacles, they are still crazy. Even if they suffer countless calamities, they will not turn back. If they do not suffer the calamity of death and soul destruction, even if the world collapses, it will be difficult to awaken them. Foolish child, do you still not understand?"
The Dao is there, objectively real, flowing through the universe, existing neither for saints nor for demons. Your blind, fervent faith, without seeking enlightenment or studying its principles, how can you attain the Dao even after four thousand years of arduous practice?
Before long, the old Taoist priest was sweating profusely. His stubborn Taoist heart was on the verge of collapse from the questioning. Finally, he sighed and bowed respectfully, completely convinced of his superiority.
"The divine lord's cultivation is profound and wondrous; this humble Taoist has learned much from you."
After speaking, he withdrew dejectedly.
In this first battle, Lu Cheng won effortlessly, without putting in any effort at all.
The Dharma discussion thus began, with cultivators from all over the world and from different lineages arriving in droves to take the stage.
A Confucian scholar once said that "righteous spirit is the heart of the Way," to which Lu Cheng countered with "Heaven and Earth are not benevolent."
A high-ranking Buddhist monk once said, "To understand one's true nature is to realize one's Buddha-nature, which is the mind of the Way." Lu Cheng then asked, "Is demonic nature also part of the mind of the Way? How can one distinguish between them?"
A sword cultivator said, "Go forward without hesitation, and a clear sword heart is the Dao heart." Lu Cheng then asked, "If the road ahead is a bottomless abyss, should you still go forward without hesitation? With a clear sword heart, can you see the filth within yourself?"
Even more demonic giants arrived late at night, attempting to confuse his Daoist mind with sophistry, but Lu Cheng exposed their disguises, and with a flash of sword light, their demonic thoughts vanished, and they fled in disarray.
The topics of the Dharma assembly also extended from "Daoist mind" to "the foundation of Daoist methods" and "the true meaning of returning to emptiness." Lu Cheng sat upright on the Yin-Yang Dharma platform, like a stabilizing pillar in the sea, or like the vast ocean of Dao itself.
He quoted extensively from classical texts, readily drawing upon them, from the profound sayings of the Tao Te Ching to the subtle truths of the Diamond Sutra, from the creation of Nuwa to the origins of gods and demons, from the mortal world to the mysteries of the higher realms.
Lu Cheng Daoren's discourse is not confined to any one school or sect, but rather integrates and points directly to the Great Dao.
Sometimes it is like a gentle spring breeze, enlightening the mind; sometimes it is like a thunderclap, breaking through people's confusion; and sometimes it is like a gazelle hanging its horns, leaving no trace, only endless aftertaste and contemplation for the listener.
As time went by, Lu Cheng Dao Ren seemed to transform into a witness and interpreter of the Daoist teachings that had lasted for millions of years.
Regarding the "foundation of Taoism," he said: "All methods return to the origin, and their foundation lies not in supernatural powers and transformations, but in 'truth' and 'oneness.' Returning to simplicity and truth, all methods return to oneness. Supernatural powers are branches and leaves, while Taoist practice is the root. If the foundation is not solid, the stronger the supernatural powers, the more severe the backlash will be."
Proving the Way through force? Force is also a form of the Way.
This was not the first or second time that the Taiqing Sect had held such a large-scale Dharma assembly, so although it seemed to be proceeding smoothly, it actually had its own strict rules and regulations.
For the first six days, the order in which the cultivators registered will be followed. After that, if they wish to discuss the Dao with Lord Lu Cheng, they must win in the small Dao discussion at the foot of Mount Taiyue to be qualified.
At the same time, the Taiqing Sect itself is known as the best in Daoist discourse. Even if the cultivators of the Taiqing Sect are envious of the spiritual pills and treasures on the summit of Mount Taiyue, they will not go up on the stage to discuss the Dao at the beginning of the Dharma Assembly, thus wasting the mental energy of their own cultivators.
The Daoist masters of the Taiqing Sect often join the Daoist debates in the middle and later stages of the Dharma Assembly. They defeat challengers from all sides in the smaller Daoist debates before heading to Mount Taiyue to debate with Lord Lucheng. If they lose, there is nothing to say. If they win, Lord Lucheng is practically beheading himself to seek the Dao. Naturally, the cultivators of the sect will not allow the Lord Lucheng to be beheaded. Instead, they will take a treasure, and both sides will benefit. In fact, the Lord Lucheng will even owe you a favor.
One day, two days, three days... ten days, eleven days, twelve days...
Time flew by amidst the intense clashes of ideas and flashes of wisdom.
Beneath the Yin-Yang Dharma Platform, more and more cultivators from all corners of heaven and earth gathered, while above the sea of clouds, celestial birds and auspicious beasts hovered and listened.
Countless cultivators experienced sudden enlightenment as they listened, their bottlenecks were broken, and quite a few even broke through their magical power realm on the spot.
The awe these cultivators felt for the figure on the Yin-Yang altar transformed from admiration for his cultivation level into genuine admiration for his wisdom and Taoist attainments.
This is also the terrifying aspect of the first principle of the Taiqing Sect's Daoist theory: Daoist theory can objectively improve a cultivator's Daoist cultivation.
As time went by, a full twelve days passed. For the first six days, Lu Cheng directly presented three topics, inviting all cultivators to discuss the Dao.
For the next six days, the format would be: Lord Lu Cheng would pose a question first, followed by the debaters, and finally Lord Lu Cheng would pose a final question. This would ensure that the debates remained within the scope of the Daoist arts that the organizers were most proficient in.
Gradually, thousands of people took to the stage to discuss the Dao, including many long-established Nascent Soul elders from the Taiqing Sect and senior figures from other major sects. However, none of them could truly shake Lu Cheng in the slightest.
This Taoist remained as steadfast as an ancient rock, unmoved by wind and waves.
In the end, even several Void Returning cultivators came in person. However, these were truly high-ranking cultivators from the Earth Immortal Realm. Their best achievement was defeating Lu Cheng on their own topic, but they had one win and two losses, losing to Lu Cheng in the overall debate.
Lu Cheng has mastered the Taoist Transformation and Ascension Technique, and his immortality has reached a minor level. This is a great divine power that no one in the Earth Immortal Realm has mastered for tens of thousands of years. In this field, even Void Returning cultivators would find it difficult to defeat him, unless some ancient immortal from tens of thousands of years ago were to be born. However, cultivators of that level would probably look down on what Lu Cheng has given this time, and would be even more reluctant to part with his reputation.
The three rows of suspended golden Daoist inscriptions shone brighter and brighter over time, as if they had absorbed the wisdom and essence of countless Daoist scholars.
The atmosphere at the summit became subtle and somber as the sun set on the twelfth day.
The many magical artifacts and treasures displayed in Lu City still shone brightly, and the "beheading" wager seemed more like an unattainable possibility.
Many cultivators gathered on and around Mount Tai, their feelings a mix of emotions. They felt proud that such a brilliant and talented individual had emerged from the Earthly Immortal Realm, yet they also sensed a subtle sense of loss and pressure.
Is it really true that no one can refute him?
Just as all was quiet except for the howling mountain wind, a figure slowly walked up an inconspicuous path from the back of Mount Taiyue.
The person who came did not ride a magical light, nor did he use any magical artifacts; he simply traveled on foot.
He wore the most ordinary gray robe of a servant in the Taiqing Sect, his hair and beard were all white, his body was hunched, his face was old and withered, and he held a worn-out bamboo broom in his hand, as if he had just finished sweeping some remote corner.
His aura was faint, almost like that of an ordinary mortal, which seemed out of place in the magnificent celestial scene before him.
Zhang Zhaodi, who was guarding the entrance to the mountain path, frowned slightly and was about to step forward to ask questions and stop them.
The old Taoist priest sweeping the floor raised his head, his cloudy old eyes looking towards the Yin-Yang altar, his gaze calm and unwavering. When Zhang Zhaodi's eyes met his, she felt a strange tremor in her heart, as if she were being stared at by an unfathomable abyss, and she subconsciously stepped aside.
The old Taoist priest walked unsteadily, step by step toward the Yin-Yang altar that everyone was watching.
His appearance initially did not attract much attention, until he walked to the edge of the Yin-Yang Dharma Platform. Amidst countless astonished, puzzled, and even slightly disdainful gazes, he slowly sat down cross-legged, right on the cold edge of the Enlightenment Jade, forming a stark contrast with the solemn and dignified Lu Cheng in the center of the Yin-Yang Dharma Platform.
"I am but an old sweeper in the mountains. I have heard that the Divine Lord is holding a grand Dharma assembly to discuss the Dao and prove one's heart. I am moved by this and have come to seek your guidance." The old Taoist's voice was hoarse and low, like the rubbing of withered leaves.
The mountaintop erupted in uproar. How dare an old servant with such meager magical power step onto the stage to discuss the Dao?
He actually sought advice from the Lu City Divine Lord, who had defeated countless heroes across the land? This is utterly absurd.
However, the moment Lu Cheng, who was in the center of the Yin-Yang Dharma Platform, saw the old Taoist appear, his usually calm eyes finally showed a very subtle ripple.
He did not show the slightest disrespect because of the other party's identity and aura. On the contrary, he sat up slightly, his expression becoming more focused than ever before, even with a hint of solemnity and respect.
"This person's aura is profound and lingering. Which reclusive senior from our sect could he be?" This thought flashed through Lu Cheng's mind, and naturally he dared not be impolite.
"Please speak, senior." Lu Cheng's voice was more solemn than when he addressed any of his previous challengers.
The old Taoist priest sweeping the floor looked at Lu Cheng with cloudy eyes, as if he could see deeper into him. He slowly opened his mouth, asking the first question, a question that had been discussed countless times:
"I'm not here to discuss philosophy with you. I just have a question to ask. If you can answer it, I'll turn around and leave."
"Lord Lu, you say that the Dao heart must endure countless tribulations to remain unbroken, and must combine strength and gentleness, break free from ego, and possess spiritual wisdom... This old man is dull and foolish, but I have only one question:"
"You sit here now, setting up this 'decapitation debate' scheme, using your life and spiritual treasures as bait to challenge cultivators from all over the world. Have you already developed a desire for victory, a desire for fame, or a fear of defeat? If these desires arise, where is your Dao heart?"
boom--.
These words were like a divine thunderbolt striking a calm lake. They were also like an invisible sharp edge piercing the deepest part of Lu Cheng's Dao heart.
The area around the Yin-Yang altar fell into an instant of deathly silence.
All the cultivators, including the higher-ups of the Taiqing Sect, held their breath and stared in disbelief at the withered old Taoist.
Yes.
You, Lu Cheng, keep talking about the Tao and proving your heart, breaking free from ego.
But you wagered "decapitation" to challenge the world, and you have never been defeated, enjoying boundless glory.
Have these twelve days of glory quietly planted a seed of "victory is inevitable" in your heart? Has it fostered arrogance of "being the only one who is supreme among all cultivators"? Has the "decapitation" stake instilled a hidden fear of failure itself?
If that's the case, is your current state of mind still that pure and innocent heart seeking the Way? Or has it been tainted by the defiled thoughts of "victory, defeat, fame, and gain"?
This question is too harsh and cruel.
It perfectly avoids all explanations of the mysteries of the Dao Heart, directly interrogating Lu Cheng's current state of mind.
Is it the original intention of "seeking the truth", or have we unknowingly become addicted to everything that comes with "winning in debate"?
This is a trap of "knowing but not doing" that all monks may face.
Lu Cheng fell silent upon hearing this.
The other party was trying to kill him; even Lu Cheng himself hadn't expected them to ask that question.
He sat upright on the Yin-Yang altar, his usual calm expression gone. He did not immediately refute, nor did he cite any scriptures.
In his deep eyes, it seemed as if a storm was brewing, and stars were being born and dying. The scenes of countless brilliant debates over the past twelve days flashed through his mind, and the subtle changes in his mindset brought about by countless victories were ruthlessly analyzed and examined.
Time seemed to stand still at the summit. The celestial clouds ceased their flow, and even the mountain wind held its breath. Countless gazes focused on Lu Cheng, awaiting his answer, or... defeat?
I don't know how much time passed; it might have been just a moment, or it might have been as long as a century.
The storm in Lu Cheng's eyes subsided, replaced by an unprecedented clarity and composure, like a clear blue sky washed clean by a downpour.
He spoke slowly, his voice still calm, yet carrying a sharp and resolute edge that severed all illusions:
"Fellow Daoist, your insight is as keen as a torch, directly pointing to the heart. This question is like a wake-up call." He paused slightly, his gaze sweeping over the thousands of cultivators below, finally settling on the old sweeping Daoist, and said loudly:
"Lu Cheng set up this 'Decapitation Debate' with the intention of tempering his Dao heart and verifying his learning. However, after twelve consecutive victories and being showered with praise, the desire to win has quietly grown, and the fear of defeat has followed him like a shadow. This is the first sign of inner demons, which are obscuring the true nature of reality. Fortunately, this fellow Daoist enlightened me with a word."
He suddenly stood up, stood in the center of the Yin-Yang altar, his robes fluttering without wind, and looked around.
"Since that's the case, today, Lu Cheng will use this promise of 'beheading' to carry out the act of 'severing the heart.' Sever this 'desire to win.' Sever this 'desire for fame.' Sever this 'desire to lose.' The inner demons have manifested; they must be severed." Before he finished speaking, he pointed his fingers like a sword and, without hesitation, made a mock slash towards his own neck.
Amidst the gasps and fear of countless people, the Taiyue Peak Master, Daoist Lucheng, was decapitated, his body splattered with blood.
The genius Taoist's head was actually severed by his own sword.
A look of wild joy flashed in the eyes of the withered old Taoist opposite him. He had just secretly used the inner demon technique of the sect to fully induce the opponent's inner demon, but he did not expect it to have such a good effect. With just a few words, he defeated and killed the most outstanding genius of Taiqing Sect in ten thousand years.
However, the next moment he was horrified.
The reason was that the Taoist priest in front of him had clearly cut off his own head, yet he stood up and even walked towards him carrying his own blood-dripping head.
That head was even continuing to speak:
“Fellow Daoist of the Qiankun Holy Demon Sect, I have lost this debate. Unfortunately, the sect rules stipulate that Taiqing disciples must kill any remnants of the Qiankun Holy Demon Sect upon encountering them, or they will be punished for treason. I'm afraid you won't be able to take my fine head and all my inheritance!”
"You actually managed to cultivate the Taoist immortality!"
The withered old Taoist priest cried out in horror at this moment, his demonic heart, cultivated for ten thousand years, was also difficult to control.
The Qiankun Holy Demon Sect was the mortal enemy of the Taiqing, Yuqing, and Shangqing sects hundreds of thousands of years ago. In the past, the Earthly Immortal Realm was invaded by the Demon Realm, and the demonic atmosphere was overwhelming. The thirty-three demonic sects ravaged the world, and no one could control them.
At that time, the leader was not the nine sects of the human race today, but the Qiankun Holy Demon Sect, which established its own religion and claimed supremacy!
This sect, which uses demonic methods to unify all laws, gathers evil cultivators from all directions, and its arrogance is overwhelming. When the righteous cultivators of the human race want to rise up, the Qiankun Holy Demon Sect, together with all the demons in the world, fights against the founders of the Taiqing, Shangqing and Yuqing sects for ten thousand years.
Finally, the three patriarchs led their disciples to the South Sea, activating seven ancient demon-sealing platforms to slay twenty-five Mahayana demon lords of the Holy Demon Sect. The demonic blood they forged soaked into the abyss, and even today, living beings can still sense the lingering howls of these gods and demons. This event is historically known as the "Blood Sea Illuminating the Heavens," ranking first in the ten-thousand-year conquest of the Dao and Demonic Realms!
Even so, the Qiankun Holy Demon Sect was not destroyed. Instead, it hid in the Earthly Immortal Realm, waiting for the next invasion of the ancient demons and the decline of the three human sects.
Even the current decline of the Taiqing Sect is inextricably linked to this sect.
Back then, the Taiqing Sect was the strongest of the three religions and the undisputed leader of the nine human sects. However, due to the bloody battle with the remnants of the Qiankun Holy Demon Sect, it has been weakened ever since.
Upon realizing his identity had been exposed, the Taoist casually ripped off his skin, revealing a demonic body with horns on his forehead and dark skin. He then transformed into a streak of gray light and prepared to flee.
However, at that moment, a rumbling sound broke out.
The sky above Qin Yue Peak suddenly changed color.
High in the endless sky, winds rose and clouds surged, and the vast primordial energy of heaven and earth swirled wildly, forming a massive vortex of primordial energy covering tens of thousands of miles. At the center of the vortex, faint chaotic lightning was brewing, emanating a terrifying heavenly might that even made a primordial spirit tremble in his soul.
The Tribulation of Returning to Emptiness has already been triggered.
At the same time, the entire defensive formation of the Taiqing Sect closed in, encircling the gray rainbow and inverting it into a world within the formation.
