The Lord of Heaven asked

Chapter 63 Preaching the Dharma

Chapter 63 Preaching the Dharma
In the early morning, the morning glow is brilliant, falling like broken gold, bathing people in warmth.

A group of children, ranging in age from four or five to teenagers, numbering dozens, were humming and exercising in the open space in front of the village facing the morning glow. The young and tender faces are full of seriousness. The older children are very lively, and the younger ones are also making graceful gestures.

Ye Xiu's bright eyes swept over every child, and he was instructing them carefully.

"When the sun rises, everything begins, and the vitality is at its peak. Although we cannot eat clouds and air as the legend says, this way of welcoming the clouds and strengthening the body has its own great benefits, which can replenish the vitality of the human body. A day's plan begins in the morning. Get up early every day and work hard to strengthen your muscles and bones, activate blood circulation and strengthen your tendons. Only then will you have the capital to survive in this vast mountain range in the future."

Ye Xiu, who was standing in front and directing a group of children, had a serious face and warned them earnestly, and then shouted: "Do you understand?"

"I understand!" a group of children responded loudly and energetically.

“Sir…” The priest of the Xi tribe looked at Ye Xiu’s actions and felt somewhat puzzled. What Ye Xiu taught was not much different from what they had said before, and they didn’t know why he did that.

"Don't worry, priest!"

Ye Xiu stopped the priest from speaking, and then continued: "The path of cultivation is filled with countless obstacles, and some people waste their entire lives without ever being able to embark on the path of cultivation!"

"If they want to practice, we first need to see if they have the aptitude. A child with good aptitude can make a great progress in practice, which is equivalent to the efforts of others in several years. A child with poor aptitude will hardly achieve anything even if he practices hard for his entire life!"

In fact, all living beings are suitable for cultivation, but there are some differences. Some children are born with extraordinary talents and are good candidates for cultivation. Such children are called immortal temples in the cultivation world.

What's more, some people are born with special physiques, and once they start practicing, their practice speed is much faster than their peers, such as Luo Lingxi's innate Taoist fetus.

There are also some people who are dull in talent and have difficulty in practicing. Without opportunity, it is difficult for them to achieve anything in their life.

However, there is another situation where aptitude is innate and can be changed through foundation-building methods and baptism with magical medicines and liquids.

The children of the Xi tribe, whose ancestor was the Great Sage, are naturally potential cultivators, but not all of them have extraordinary qualifications.

It is very difficult to change one's own qualifications through elixirs and divine liquids in the mountains of the southern border.

There are many ferocious beasts in the mountains of the southern border. If you want to enter the mountains to obtain elixirs, you will almost certainly die.

The adult male in the tribe who went into the mountains to hunt also formed a team and brought with them the magical weapons left by their ancestors before they dared to go deep into the mountains.

Therefore, Ye Xiu taught them the more essential method of breathing, allowing them to absorb the spiritual energy between heaven and earth to make up for the deficiencies in their foundation.

Although the tribe's priest had taught them the breathing method passed down in the tribe before, it was still quite superficial compared to the breathing method provided by Ye Xiu.

After listening to Ye Xiu's explanation, the priest finally understood his good intentions.

"When will you teach the Dharma, sir?" A strange look appeared in the priest's eyes, and he continued to ask.

Ye Xiu saw the change in his heart, he just wanted to practice cultivation.

"It may take another ten days. During this time, I need to explain some basic knowledge of cultivation to the children!"

After hearing that it would take more than ten days to practice, the priest instantly breathed a sigh of relief.

In the next few days, Ye Xiu explained the basic knowledge of cultivation to the children in the tribe.

It was not until the tenth day, when all the children understood the basic knowledge of cultivation, that Ye Xiu began to formally preach to them.

On this day, all the children in the tribe, led by the priest, came to the place where they usually practiced.

After all the people who were still fighting gathered together, Ye Xiu asked, "What is cultivation?"

"Practicing cultivation means becoming an immortal and gaining powerful strength!" a child answered loudly.

Although there were no practitioners in the tribe, when the Heavenly Palace came to test the immortal seedlings, they would also talk to them about the benefits of practicing.

"That's right and that's not right. Let me ask you again, is the sky clean?" "It's cloudless, the sky is clear blue, so it's naturally clean." Although they didn't know why Ye Xiu asked this, the children in the tribe still answered.

"Wrong, the dust is endless." Ye Xiu opened his palm and said, "Even within this small space of my palm there is endless dust."

"What do you mean?" When these words were spoken, the children present were instantly confused. Even the priest had a look of confusion on his face, wondering what this had to do with spiritual practice.

Ye Xiu was very calm, like an immortal from the otherworldly world, and continued: "What do you think this endless dust is?"

"What could it be? It must be dust!"

"It is dust, but it is not dust." Ye Xiu said calmly.

After hearing Ye Xiu's words, the already confused child became even more confused.

"I understand it is dust, but if it's not dust, then what is it?" The priest could understand a little and then asked.

"It is the world, a vast world." Ye Xiu said calmly and naturally.

"It's a vast world. Are you kidding?" the priest was puzzled.

The children's eyes were filled with confusion, not knowing what Ye Xiu was talking about.

"In the future you will understand that this speck of dust, this blade of grass, this tree is a world."

"Can you please speak more directly? I feel like I'm listening to a foreign language. Although the literal meaning is easy to understand, I don't understand the deeper meaning behind it at all."

The priest didn't understand what he meant and asked humbly.

Ye Xiu sat there, smiled faintly, and said: "Let's not talk about this today. What I want to say is that there are endless dust in the world, and each dust is a world. Similarly, our bodies are the same. You can't see anything, but they contain endless doors, just like the dust in the world. The seemingly tiny body contains countless doors. Continuously opening these doors and discovering the true self is cultivation."

Ye Xiu was calm and asked, "Now, do you understand what cultivation is?"

“It seems that I understand a little bit.”

"Okay, you will slowly understand it in the future. Now, I will tell you what the sea of suffering is. There are countless ways to practice in the world, but none of them can open the path to immortality from now on."

All living things in the world, except for a few special ones, are basically born weak, but they have endless potential in their bodies. The spiritual world calls them "gates", and such "gates" are as countless as the dust between heaven and earth.

One flower one world, one leaf one bodhi.

Each "door" of the human body is equivalent to a world. Through various mysterious methods, we can constantly open the "door" of potential in the body, discover the "true self", and release divine power. This is cultivation!
Although there are countless doors of potential within a living being, there is always a starting point and a sequence for opening these doors.

The starting gate for the Heaven-Covering Method is the Wheel Sea Secret Realm, followed by the Dao Palace Secret Realm - the Four Poles Secret Realm - the Dragon Transformation Secret Realm - the Immortal Platform Secret Realm.

They correspond to the human body, the place where sperm is stored below the navel, the five internal organs in the chest cavity, the limbs and hands and feet, the spine that supports the body, and the brain that controls the body.

The chakra is located below the navel of the human body. It is round in shape and about the size of a palm. The origin of it is called the Life Source Chakra, also known as the Wheel of Life.

It is the origin of all life and the place where the human body stores essence. Ordinary people use it to give birth and reproduce.

For cultivators, the Life Source Wheel is the foundation of their practice and the source of their divine power. If one wants to embark on the path to immortality, this is the starting point.

The sun and the moon rise and set, and the years pass. Time will leave its mark on all things in the world, just like trees, which will have an extra ring on them with every passing year.

The same is true for the human body. With each passing year, time will carve a scar on the Source Wheel. When the scar covers the entire Source Wheel of Life, it is the moment for it to collapse, and the person at this time naturally reaches the end of his life.

According to legend, if a cultivator can keep his life source wheel crystal clear, without marks or scars, and always as fresh as when he was born, then he will have hope of becoming an immortal.
