Red Dragon has magic

Chapter 302 Team formation

Chapter 302 Team formation
"Brother, you don't want to cause trouble for the frost worms...those big guys are scarier than dragons."

Lyon was still muttering about heading to Snow Flow Canyon when he suddenly heard an enthusiastic voice. He turned around and saw no one. He looked left and right but no one was there.

"Keep your head down. I'm here."

It was not until that enthusiastic voice sounded again that Leon finally found the owner of the voice, a short halfling who was jumping around. Judging from his attire, the dagger and crossbow on his waist, he was definitely a wanderer.

“Thank you for your reminder.” When he was outside, especially now in human form, Leon was quite polite.

Unless he revealed his dragon form, no one would believe that he could defeat the frost worm. That thing required a world-class master to deal with. He was too lazy to explain so many things and said, "I don't have the courage to cause trouble for the frost worm. I just want to see the frost worm and broaden my horizons."

That being said, the frost worm is so powerful that it must have many rare alchemy materials on its body. If Leon is lucky enough to see a frost worm, he definitely wouldn't mind killing it.

"Don't even look at it." The halfling warned, "If there are really frostworms in the Snow Flow Canyon, you might get eaten if you get close... Those big guys will suddenly drill out from the frozen ground and eat anything they can swallow with their big mouths."

"Okay, thank you, I understand." The halfling meant well, and Leon did not show any impatience.

"You look very strong." The halfling looked up and down at Leon with his round eyes. He could recognize that the clothes and shoes Leon was wearing were all magical equipment. The most important thing was Leon's face full of extraordinary charm. "You are a warlock, right?"

"No, I'm not a warlock, but a druid." Lyon joked that after mastering the seventy-two transformations, he could easily pretend to be a druid.

The halfling's eyes were filled with distrust.

"I'm not lying to you. Why would I lie to you? I'll just turn myself into a bear and show you how it works." As long as it didn't take much time, Leon didn't mind playing with the halfling. Mainly because he believed that the halfling must have something to say when he approached him. After thinking about what to turn into, he moved his shoulders and turned into an owlbear.

With a thick, fluffy bear-like body covered in feathers, a large size, keen vision and sense of smell, and multiple attacks, the Owlbear is extremely ferocious. It is an absolutely terrifying existence for the low-level adventurers who make up the majority of the Adventurer's Guild.

As soon as Leon's transformed owlbear appeared, it immediately caused a commotion in the entire Adventurer's Guild Hall.

The halfling touched Leon's arm carefully, and almost jumped up at once, shouting, "Really, it's real, a real owlbear."

Leon growled, regained his human form, and said, "Now you believe I'm a druid."

"Tell me." Leon said, "What do you want to talk to me about?"

"First, let me introduce myself." The halfling straightened his chest and said, "Crivdo, my name is Crivdo."

Leon nodded without comment.

"People have been missing in Whalebone Town in Dagger Bay recently. We have been commissioned by the Lord of Iron Harbor to investigate the disappearances. We are in need of a druid now." Clifford looked at Leon expectantly. "Do you want to earn some pocket money?"

"Didn't you think I was a warlock and flirted with me?" Leon laughed. "You should need a warlock, not a druid."

"Warlocks are fine, druids are fine too," said Clifford. "We mainly need spellcasters."

"Although I'm a druid, I specialize in transformation and I hardly know any spells. I'm afraid I'll disappoint you." Leon shrugged.

"It doesn't matter whether you are a spellcaster or not, the main thing is that you are strong." Clifdo smiled, "Owlbear, that is an owlbear, this is the first time I have seen a druid who can transform into an owlbear. Can a druid transform into an owlbear?"

Cliffe grumbled, waiting for Leon to join them and preparing delicious food for him.

“I haven’t decided to join you yet…” Leon has something to do now. He needs to go meet the Frostworm, and then go to Bern to find Edwin. It’s almost time to visit the Adventurer’s Guild. He has no interest in playing the role of an adventurer for the time being. He was about to refuse when he saw a girl walking towards him from the corner of his eye.

She was a slender girl with a waterfall of silver hair that fell softly behind her. Her skin was as white as snow. She was wearing a slightly worn leather windbreaker that tightly wrapped around her slender body. A stylish long sword was hung around her waist, with complex runes carved on the hilt. The soles of her deerskin boots were covered in mud and dust.

"Clifford, you come back first, I will persuade him." The silver-haired girl waved her hand to drive the halfling away.

Leon said nothing and looked at the silver-haired girl quietly.

"My name is Isilie." The silver-haired girl raised her head and looked at Leon, expecting him to introduce himself.

Leon did not refuse Isili and answered: "Leon." "Leon?" Isili tilted her head slightly, "This is a pseudonym, right?"

"Real name." Leon said, nodding slightly.

"What a strange name." Isili said to herself, "I seem to have heard it somewhere before."

Leon raised his eyebrows, thinking that the Kingdom of Beren was thousands of kilometers away from Watchport, and his name should not be able to spread that far. It should be limited to the Talia Alliance and the Empire had heard of it.

"Where have I heard of this before?" Isili frowned and thought about it, but still had no clue. "Forget it, I can't think of it anymore."

Lyon smiled, but at the same time felt a little disappointed that he was still not famous enough.

As expected, Isili didn’t care about Leon’s name anymore. She walked around him and said, “You said you were a druid, but you don’t look like a druid at all.”

"Do I have to wear leather armor to be a druid? Druids are not lacking in the ability to wear metal armor, they just don't want to do so, just like vegetarians can eat meat but don't want to." Leon remained calm and said, "The creed of my school of druids is that green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver."

Isili nodded, suddenly moved closer to Leon, and said, “But how do you explain the scales on your cheekbones?”

Leon subconsciously touched his face, but didn't feel any scales. It was not until he saw the sly smile on the silver-haired girl's face that he realized he had been tricked.

"You are not a druid." Isili paused and said, "You are not a dragon vein warlock either."

"If I'm not mistaken, you are a dragon." Isili pointed at Leon. "Am I right?"

Leon crossed his arms and said, "Why don't you continue to guess what kind of dragon I am?"

Isili stared at Leon, bit her finger, and said, "Gold dragons are good at transforming into animals and humanoids, but they are generally aloof and cold, value their privacy, and don't like to joke. Silver dragons often use humanoid forms, but I'm sure you're not a silver dragon. Bronze dragons are also good at transformation, like humanoid forms, and are full of a strong sense of justice... You can't be a gem dragon."

"I can't guess what kind of dragon you are, but knowing that you are a dragon is enough." Isili leaned against Leon, "Ah, you don't want others to know that you are a dragon, do you?"

"If you don't want people to know that you are a dragon... that will be very troublesome." Isili wrinkled her nose and threatened, "As long as you join us, I promise not to tell others that you are a dragon."

“Can I return this sentence to you as it is?” Leon narrowed his eyes, “Silver Dragon sister.”

Yes, the moment Isili appeared, Leon saw her true identity, a rare teenage silver dragon, a teenage silver dragon was actually roaming around outside.

Isili curled her lips and said, "I knew I couldn't hide it from you."

"So what rights do you have to threaten me?" Leon asked back.

"Because I'm not afraid of trouble." Isili put her hands on her hips and said self-righteously, "I'm not afraid of trouble, but you definitely are."

"Okay." Isili patted Leon's arm. "If it's nothing important, just help us... for kindness and justice. You don't want to see people continue to lose their fathers, sons, and husbands."

A silver dragon that came to the door was obviously more important than Edwin, and more important than the frost worm. Leon smiled and said, "Don't regret it."

"Why should I regret it?" Isili asked puzzledly, "Are you worried about any danger?"

"It's just an investigation into a missing person case," Isili said decisively. "I guess it's the work of the sea hag."

"Do you know a sea hag?" Isilie continued. "It is said that a sea hag is the ugliest type of hag. It has pale skin covered with slimy scales, hair like seaweed, and eyes that look lifeless like a doll."

Leon looked at Isili and smiled.

"I haven't entered my youth yet, so don't dream about it." Isili rolled her eyes at Leon.
