Red Dragon has magic

Chapter 33 Massacre

Chapter 33 Massacre
The cultists couldn't understand how the hunt for a killer of gnolls ended up targeting a red dragon.

A red dragon would not live high on the top of a mountain. Even if it did not sleep in a lava river, it would at least take a nap in a hot spring emitting billowing heat waves. How could it just randomly choose a small river to lie down... Is that a trap set for the war group?
The red dragon stood up abnormally, and God knows where it found a sword, and it seemed that it could use it.

A red dragon warrior who can use weapons, or a barbarian?
For a moment, the cultist thought it would be more realistic for the demon lord Yeenoghu to suddenly appear in front of them from the abyss. He wanted to say something, but he didn't know where to start.

"Why, you don't want to continue?"

Lyon had seen that the Gnolls that surrounded him did not include Flinder Gnolls, nor any other special creatures. For example, the Blood Beast, a monster that combines the head of a giant badger, the legs of a deer, and the body of a giant hyena, and is keen on torturing and devouring humans. Or the Susuwa Demon Dog, a demon in the form of a spotted hyena.

But even if there were those things, he didn't care at all. He could fly, fight when he wanted to, and leave when he wanted to.

It was a rare opportunity for him to soak in some water and reminisce about the past, squinting his eyes and basking in the sun comfortably, but he didn't expect to be disturbed... In a sense, it was just a grumpiness after waking up. Leon was not in a good mood right now, and he knew very well that trying to communicate with the werewolves was the quickest way to get into their stomachs.

In doing so, without waiting for the cultist on the opposite side to speak, Leon raised his sword.

It was at this time that the cultist finally realized that fighting was inevitable. He pointed a three-headed flail at Leon and said, "Kill him."

"Kill him and present him to Lord Yeenoghu." Yeenoghu Fangs began to howl.

All the gnolls howled.

Leon chopped down the nearest gnoll scavenger with his sword. Once he stood up, he couldn't move, and he couldn't reach any further.

A hail of arrows was fired by the Gnoll Hunters.

The bows picked up from the villagers were equipped with ordinary arrows, and they were not sharpened at all. Even when they were pulled to the full length, they could not break the hard scales on Leon's body... If they stood in front of Leon, it might cause some damage because the scales on his throat were not that hard. Unfortunately, they stood around him.

The white dragon is a little bit stupid, but other dragons are only smarter than humans.

A dragon will not use its breath weapon to make an attack and then charge at its foe to engage in hand-to-hand combat with its bare hands and blades. Doing so would quickly reduce even the most powerful dragon to a pile of stinking, scaly flesh.

Leon has a human soul, so he is more cautious than a dragon. The reason is simple - the fighting power of the Horror Ape is actually very strong, but everyone always says that humans are no match for wolves, dogs, or even geese. This is because in people's minds, getting hurt means losing.

A Gnoll is not worth mentioning, but a Gnoll regiment must still be respected. Seeing the Gnoll warriors coming up with pitchforks in their hands, Leon immediately spread his wings and flew up.

The witch has a way to deal with Leon's flying, but these gnolls can't. Apart from shooting him with bows and arrows, they have no other way.

Leon circled in the air and landed on the roof of the mill.

Dragons do not rely on magic to fly, but their flight is due to their unique anatomical structure and metabolism. Dragons weigh much less than other creatures of the same size, but their muscles are exceptionally strong. For this reason, although Leon looks big, his weight is not as big as expected, and it does not affect him from stepping on the roof of the mill and not collapsing the roof and falling off.

Looking down at the gnolls, Leon threw his sword up, and with a shout of "Go", he controlled the flying sword to harvest the heads of the gnolls, starting with the long-range gnoll hunters.

The cultist's expression was distorted and confused by this scene. He had never seen such a weird battle in his life. Could this red dragon be a priest? Otherwise, why did the "spiritual weapon" appear again?

"Charge forward, charge forward quickly," he would shout now.

Except for the werewolf hunter who used long-range throwing to throw Leon, the rest of the werewolves all swarmed to the side of the mill and tried to climb onto the roof. Leon had no choice but to recall the flying sword, holding the hilt and cutting off heads. He chopped off the heads of the brave warriors one by one, and they fell to the ground.

Yeenoghu Fang also rushed up. It was quite intelligent and knew to climb up the mill without being seen by Leon, but it certainly couldn't hide.

Yeenoghu's fangs were quite strong, so Leon had to chop and bite it, and finally follow up with a tail strike... Even so, he could only knock it down. Leon didn't know how many gnolls he had chopped down, and he was having a great time when he saw the cultist walk up to him, holding a three-headed flail and pointing it at him.

"Red Dragon, do you dare to fight me head-on?"

A hot pot meal was enough for him to call him godfather. God knew how shameless Leon was. He laughed at that time: “I dare not.”

The cultist didn't expect Leon to answer like that, and his expression turned ugly.

"Cowardly reptile." The cultist had a gloomy expression, his strong chest rose and fell twice, and he spat at Leon. Of course, he was standing far away from the red dragon, so he could not spit at it.

Leon was calm, because he was the one who had the advantage of the terrain, so he was very stable. Some people even laughed and said, "I have only heard of people who are dogs, but I have never heard of people who are dogs of dogs."

Leon's defense was not broken, but the cultist was a little broken: "How dare you insult Lord Yeenog."

"I was just insulting you."

"Don't ever come down."

Leon did not answer the cultist because he had to deal with Yeenoghu Fang that had climbed up the mill again, and this time he killed it with one sword.

Most of the gnolls were killed, and the remaining ones had no fighting power. Leon excitedly jumped down from the mill, stood in front of the cultists, and said, "The opportunity for a head-on battle you have been waiting for is here."

After all, he was a follower of Yeenog. The cultist licked his lips and chose not to run away. He roared, and a faint blood-red light surrounded his body. He rushed towards Leon holding a three-headed flail. What greeted him was Leon's raised hand, and a freezing spell.

The cultist didn't talk about friendship, bonds, or the future, so of course he was no match for Leon, who was much stronger than him.

"I'm not only good at using a sword." Leon watched the cultist fly up with a three-headed flail in his right hand.

"Why?" The cultist knew he had lost. "Why attack us?"

"You attacked me first." Leon said innocently, "It was the same then, and it is the same now."

Hearing this, the cultist coughed up two mouthfuls of blood.

I won’t tell you the truth about the gnoll who died at the beginning because I didn’t know the truth, but there was no need for the red dragon to lie.

This time, he was indeed determined to find the murderer, and then commanded the team to find the Red Dragon.

"You destroyed a village, and adventurers will soon come looking for you. You will all die sooner or later... just consider it a little sooner." Leon said "comfortingly", stabbing the cultist's chest with his sword, and crushing the cultist's heart with a flip of his wrist.

ended?
It’s not over yet, it’s just beginning.

"This thing should be a magical weapon."

Leon picked up the cultist's three-headed flail and pushed away the severed hand that had been holding the handle.
