Red Dragon has magic

Chapter 386 Tunaras

Chapter 386 Tunaras
When the Githyanki freed themselves from the illithids, Vlaakith took them to a six-armed god-corpse floating in the Astral Plane.

The body has been reduced to a single rock, its lower half destroyed in ancient times, and from its lower end extend floating boulders larger than the castle. Tunarath is built entirely on the upper half of the body, with the central area located in the chest and the ancillary areas extending outward along the six arms and head.

Even though Leon was now considered knowledgeable, he was still shocked for a few seconds by Tunaras... Strictly speaking, he was shocked by the six-armed corpse.

Leon didn't think much about it. He dived and landed on the shoulder of the six-armed corpse. As soon as he landed, he saw a Githyanki patrol boat. Five Githyanki warriors holding huge swords jumped out of the Githyanki patrol boat and surrounded him.

"What do you want to do?" Leon was very easy to talk to, otherwise if a violent and arrogant red dragon was here, a fight might have started.

"What is your purpose in trespassing into Tunaras?" said the Mohawk-haired captain. "Why don't you surrender?"

The Githyanki are equally arrogant, and all of them have bad tempers. In a certain game, the foul-mouthed Githyanki are considered to be among the few Githyanki with good tempers. Without waiting for Leon to speak, he raised his greatsword and slashed at Leon. He would subdue him first if there was any problem.

Leon relied on shapeshifting to transform into a human form. He was not a human, but a humanoid dragon, retaining a considerable number of attributes. At this moment, he pushed the giant sword away with a casual flick of his hand, and slapped the Mohawk-haired captain in the face with his backhand. From the corner of his eye, he noticed that other Githyanki warriors were attacking him, and he swung them all away with his tail.

The Mohawk-haired captain got up from the ground, covered his swollen face and looked at Leon. He couldn't understand how a human could suddenly grow a tail and be so powerful. It didn't stop him from calling for reinforcements. He looked at Leon vigilantly and said, "You can't run away... Here they come, reinforcements are coming."

I just called for support, and the reinforcements are coming. Is the support so fast? Leon turned around with the Githyanki warriors and saw a Githyanki wearing mithril armor, followed by two Githyanki flying over together. They looked familiar.

"Captain Keslak, it's Captain Keslak!" The Mohawk-haired captain looked at Leon viciously, "Captain Keslak is here, kneel down quickly, and I'll give you a quick death."

“Captain Dunes, he was the one who trespassed into Tunaras.” The female Githyanki warrior pointed at Leon, “He also injured so many of us.”

When Duns saw Leon's face, his eyes shrank slightly, then slowly expanded. A long-lost memory emerged, and he slapped the female Gisyanki warrior in the face, no lighter than Leon's, and said, "You have eyes but no pearls, and you don't recognize the Dragon King."

Why does this plot look so familiar?

Leon was afraid that Duns would say "Welcome back, Dragon King", so he quickly said: "I am not a Dragon King, you can just call me that... It's good that you are here, you explain to them that I am not an enemy, I am your friend and ally."

Dunes didn't care that the Githyanki warriors were not only not wrong, but on the contrary they were doing their duty. It was a sin to offend the great god opposite. That god of death could kill an army of fire giants with a gust of wind and chop off the head of the heir of the fire god with a sword. He said coldly: "Kill them all."

“You’re done. You’re dead.” The female Githyanki warrior said, suddenly realizing that she was disarmed. “Wait, are you mistaken?”

Leon still had a good temper and said, “It hasn’t come to that. They are also working for the sake of it. Don’t shout for war and killing at every turn.”

"They didn't know Lord Lyon, that's wrong. But since Lord Lyon said so... go to Glask and receive the punishment." Duns said, "Why don't you thank Lord Lyon quickly."

Leon had heard about Grask from Saloveith. It was a district in Tunaras, a labor camp for the Githyanki. There was muddy land as far as the eye could see, and once the Githyanki broke the law, they would be sent there to receive punishment, which was usually non-fatal and rarely even caused physical harm, so he did not try to persuade them again.

Waving his hand to drive away the thankful Gisyanki warriors, Leon really didn't expect that he would become the protagonist of such a classic plot. He felt a little subtle and said, "Shouldn't the Gisyanki knights normally come? Why did you come in person?" "This is a military zone." Duns explained, "I just happened to be here."

"Why is Lord Lyon here?" Duns continued, "Your sister should be in the Dragon's Lair."

"I'm not here to look for her. I'm here in the Star Realm and I came to take a look. As a red dragon, I'm really unqualified for not having been to Tunaras." Leon said, "Don't worry about me. I can just go around by myself... Don't worry, Saloveis told me that I won't go into the Queen's District."

Saroves told you not to wander into the Queen's District, where the Queen's Whispering Palace is located. Didn't she tell you that you need an invitation to enter Tunaras? That's right, a red dragon wouldn't care about such trivial matters. Duens hesitated, thought for a while and said, "Lord Leon is new here, I'll have someone accompany you on a tour."

"No need." Leon said, "I want to go around alone."

"Then Sir Lyon, take this." Duns gave Lyon a token, "As long as you hold this, no one will bother you without seeing it."

Regardless of whether Duns would immediately tell Vlakis that he had come to Tunaras, Lyon left with the token and looked around at the messy streets of Naras. Both sides of the street were filled with various buildings of different styles that were moved from different planes.

Many Githyanki raiders have a particular obsession with buildings, and they will forcibly take structures from the Material Plane or elsewhere and place them on Tu'narath.

The Githyanki never sell goods to travelers, nor do they buy from travelers - if they want something, they just take it away. For this reason, there is no formal market on Tu'narath, but there are some informal markets.

Lyon didn't know how he ended up at a market place, when he suddenly heard someone calling him.

"Dear guest, would you like to see the goods?"

Leon looked in the direction of the voice and saw a short, fat penguin with a red scarf on his upper body... hiding in the alley and waving at him.

Leon really did cram in some knowledge related to the astral world, and he quickly recognized what that penguin was. It was the Dorval Penguin Man, because his appearance and movements were very much like a penguin. He was a businessman at heart, always looking for the next business opportunity.

The Dorval Penguin's group is called a monopoly alliance. Their transactions are always conducted in secret. They like to do business in all kinds of dark streets and remote corners, even if the things they buy and sell are neither illegal nor dangerous.

Leon didn't like penguins, and said bluntly: "Stupid penguin, get out."

When Leon drove away the Dorval Penguin, Dunes entered the Queen's District and entered the maze of the Whispering Palace through a small path that only passed under the statue of Gis.

The main hall of Vlaakis is a grand hall supported by obsidian pillars, located in the center of the labyrinth. Vlaakis, flanked by two red dragon guards, sits on her throne to receive audiences.
