Weird Cultivation: I am the Yellow-skinned Taoist Master
Chapter 361 Chaos erupts on the Holy Mountain, Welcoming the Buddha of This Life Back to His Positio
At the foot of the sacred mountain, on an enormous twelve-petaled golden lotus platform.
Eighty thousand Buddhist disciples laughed in unison.
The laughter was clear and crisp, like a bell.
Cluck cluck, cluck cluck...
To everyone, including those who do not exist in the present or future Buddhas.
They all believed that this was because Buddhist disciples in this world rejoiced upon hearing the Buddha's voice.
After all, the Buddhist intent within a Buddhist disciple cannot be concealed.
The Buddhist disciples, each of whom embodies the Buddha's essence, all originate from the Buddha in this lifetime.
Although it is somewhat unreasonable.
But this Mara Dharma Assembly is precisely to resolve this matter.
There is only one Buddha in this world.
There can only be one.
At this moment, even Zen Master Ditong was moved by the grand atmosphere of the Dharma assembly.
He had never seen so many Arhats, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas in his entire life.
There are even phantom images of ten thousand Buddhas in the San Shen Wan Fo Temple.
And those two real Buddhas.
This is a great honor for him.
It would be even more honorable if the reincarnation of the Buddha in this life were not by my side, but sitting on that twelve-petaled golden lotus platform.
“Benefactor Chen, what follows is a lecture on Buddhist scriptures.”
Zen Master Ditong said to Chen Huangpi with reverence: "Of the eighty thousand Buddhist disciples who come, all can be enlightened on Buddhist principles. True Buddhist disciples will then open their mouths to speak with them, and they will reflect on each other."
“For a Buddhist disciple, He will gradually awaken to His own enlightenment during this process.”
"And for others, this allows them to perceive the Buddhist essence of the disciple and thus gain a tremendous opportunity."
This Mara Dharma Assembly will last for seven days.
Every day, the twelve-tiered golden lotus platform ascends towards the Three Bodies of Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple atop the sacred mountain.
Until the very last day.
The last Buddha's disciple, the Buddha of this lifetime, will enter the Temple of Three Bodies of Ten Thousand Buddhas, realize his own enlightenment, and attain Buddhahood on the spot.
Further on, there is the unification of the three bodies of Buddha.
To attain the true Buddhahood.
Thinking of this, Zen Master Ditong said with distress, "But Benefactor Chen, you are right beside me. Are you really going to just stand by and watch those fake Buddhist disciples become real ones?"
Chen Huangpi said casually, "When falsehood is taken for truth, even truth becomes falsehood; when truth is taken for falsehood, even falsehood becomes truth. Why bother distinguishing between truth and falsehood?"
This saying was learned from the fourth master, the heretical Taoist.
Fourth Master often said this.
So much so that Chen Huangpi subconsciously memorized it.
The brass oil lamp scoffed, "This bald monk is meddling in other people's business. Those people are indeed evil. If they could be reformed by bald monks, that would be ridiculous."
"But seven days is far too long."
"I think this Mara Magic Assembly probably won't last even a day."
It came purely with the intention of watching a joke unfold.
They wish they could turn the world upside down.
Let's turn this so-called sacred mountain upside down.
"Look, those bald monks have started chanting sutras."
Chen Huangpi pointed gleefully at a Buddha statue on the lotus platform and said, "It's a pot-bellied, smiling Buddha. Let's see if he can still smile later."
On the twelve-tiered golden lotus platform, one could see...
At that moment, a Buddha wearing a yellow monk's robe, with his chest and breasts exposed and a large belly, was holding prayer beads and bowing to a human fruit.
"Greetings, Buddhist disciple."
The pot-bellied Buddha sat down with a smile, and then said, "The so-called World Honored One, Tathagata, is what I have heard, and this is my Dharma. My Buddha Tathagata once said, 'All sentient beings suffer, and it is difficult to distinguish between good and evil.'"
“Once, a vulture was starving and searched for a hunting ground but could not find food.”
"The Buddha is compassionate, so he cut off his own flesh to feed the eagle, using his body to save the eagle, which is in line with the Buddha's principle of saving all sentient beings."
Every sound from the Laughing Buddha is filled with profound Buddhist meaning.
He was explaining Buddhist scriptures to people.
Golden lotuses emerged from the surrounding area and gradually disappeared into the fruit.
The fruit was entirely bluish-black, resembling the appearance of an infant.
Its eyes were clear and bright, with black and white contrasting sharply.
As Renguo listened to the words of the big-bellied Buddha, he felt the Buddhist sound flowing into him at all times.
Suddenly, a sound.
The fruit emitted golden light from its entire body.
And then she burst into tears.
Uh-huh! ! ! ! !
Immediately, people turned their attention to them.
The Laughing Buddha is quite famous in Buddhist countries in China, not only for his great power but also for his profound Buddhist teachings.
His words immediately caused a stir among the Buddhist disciples.
“Look, the Buddha’s disciple cried three times and then fell silent. This is the beginning of his enlightenment.”
"Then the Buddhist disciple spoke up and began to debate with him."
"We'll find out soon whether this Buddha is truly the reincarnation of the Buddha in this life."
As those expectant, excited, and fervent voices fell to the ground.
However, to their disappointment...
After the Buddhist disciple closed his mouth, he stared intently at the pot-bellied Buddha.
They didn't even bother with debate, let alone any physical movement.
Upon seeing this, the Laughing Buddha said, "The Buddha is compassionate. The Buddha saves all sentient beings, and sentient beings also save the Buddha. This humble monk is explaining Buddhist scriptures to the disciples, so why are they silent? Could it be that what this humble monk said is incorrect?"
"That's bullshit."
Chen Huangpi sneered, "My person is indeed an evil being. They are only in their infancy now, unable to speak. Even if they have a thousand complaints, they can only stare helplessly."
A person's life is equivalent to sixty years in a single day, and thirty years in a single night.
After leaving the Demon Tree and being reincarnated by the Samsara Palace into this Buddhist Kingdom in the Central Plains, it lost that strange ability to grow rapidly.
Therefore, no matter how much Buddhist scriptures are explained or how much the Buddha's teachings are conveyed to people, it will not be effective.
The man stared intently at the pot-bellied Buddha.
Actually, it was disgusted by what it heard and wanted to eat the pot-bellied Buddha.
However, it is now trapped in this physical form, and without its evil body, it can do nothing.
But the brass oil lamp was stirring things up: "Master, with my ability to conceal ourselves, no one here can find us. Besides, you are now quite powerful and have many tricks up your sleeve. Are you really afraid of them?"
Hearing this, Chen Huangpi's heart stirred slightly: "Huang Er, are you trying to stir up trouble again?"
He was actually quite unhappy too.
However, most of the time, people were just watching the spectacle with amusement.
The only slightly annoying thing was that, as the master of the Demon Tree and the source of these human fruits, he could clearly hear the voice of the Big-Bellied Buddha expounding Buddhist scriptures and his Buddhist intentions.
But Chen Huangpi really didn't have any intention of stirring up trouble.
Although the master said that whether to seek stability or act recklessly on this trip to the Buddhist kingdom in the Central Plains was up to him to decide.
But one must have the means to be reckless.
The brass oil lamp chuckled wickedly, "Family member, aren't you the one who loves to reason the most? Why don't you use this human fruit's mouth to have a good talk with those bald monks and make their Buddhist hearts collapse?"
"Isn't this bad..."
Chen Huangpi frowned and said, "Although I like to reason, I never speak without reason. I have never read Buddhist scriptures. Wouldn't it be very embarrassing if I couldn't win an argument with them?"
If it refers to medicine classics or medical books.
Chen Huangpi naturally took the lead, but he had never actually read a single Buddhist scripture.
They knew absolutely nothing about the classic stories of those Buddhist kingdoms in China.
"Isn't there someone who understands this?"
The brass oil lamp pointed at Zen Master Ditong: "What did that fat bald monk mean by saying he was cutting flesh to feed an eagle?"
Zen Master Ditong said with a sharp mind: "It is about good and evil. A vulture will die if it has no food. The Buddha cut off his own flesh to feed the vulture. He was both saving the vulture and letting the vulture save him."
"So, the big-bellied Buddha is portraying himself as a Buddha, while mistaking that person for an eagle?"
Chen Huangpi looked puzzled.
If you say it that way, then he will understand.
Zen Master Ditong said, "Benefactor Chen is indeed wise and insightful, able to understand immediately upon hearing this."
Chen Huangpi waved his hand.
Then, he reached out and slapped his hand, and a coffin appeared out of thin air under his buttocks.
The Zen Master Naditong looked bewildered upon seeing this.
The brass oil lamp sneered, "You don't understand, do you? That's good. This coffin is your lotus throne, Benefactor Chen, which is much more precious than those damn Buddha seats."
As for the Golden Horn and Silver Horn...
They were both startled by the coffin.
Silverhorn, in particular, sniffed and smelled the scent of Jianmu wood on the coffin.
But the coffin made of Jianmu wood did not frighten them.
After all, they had gnawed on the bark of the Jianmu tree.
They were absolutely fearless.
Most importantly, they smelled an indescribable and terrifying odor inside the coffin.
He seems somewhat like the abbot...
But it doesn't quite seem like it.
It felt like I'd experienced something similar before.
However, the Golden Horn and Silver Horn exchanged a glance and both saw confusion in each other's eyes.
Not long after they arrived in the human world, they were assigned to guard the gate of the library.
Later, due to a change in the world, the Sutra Repository was restored to its original state.
Only Golden Horn appeared during that period.
Most of the time, they both remain in the old ways.
If I had to say where I experienced it...
That must be the old look.
"Could it be that the old man is in Huangpi's coffin?"
"Why the old temple? Couldn't it be the abbot? He was one of the Daoist masters, and since the Daoist masters are dead, I reckon the abbot is not far from death either. He might even be lying in there."
"Master won't die!"
Chen Huangpi was communicating with the man when he heard Jinjiao and Yinjiao's unreliable words. He glared at them angrily and scolded, "If you talk nonsense again, I'll throw you two into the Book of Souls."
"The Book of Souls contains Ah Gui!"
"Golden Horn, do you know how ruthless Ah Gui can be!"
Golden Horn was so angry it gritted its teeth at the mention of the name "A-Gui" (鬼). But now that it was finally allowed to roam outside, it had no intention of going into the Soul-Hooking Book to fight the Soul-Reaping Ghost.
It thought maliciously to itself, "I'm not the same as before. Once I get tired of being outside, I'll go into that Soul-Snatching Book and teach that wretched ghost a lesson! I'll make that wretched ghost pay!"
It hadn't thought of that.
Chen Huangpi was actually using the ghost to scare it.
The Soul-Reaping Demon is currently dormant and undergoing transformation in the Book of Souls. Putting Golden Horn and Silver Horn into it would only ruin things.
As for what happens after the vengeful spirit awakens.
I reckon that Golden Horn and Silver Horn might not be able to defeat the Death-Reaping Ghost.
Then look at the big-bellied Buddha on the lotus platform.
The big-bellied Buddha showed no sign of a smile at this moment.
He looked around and strangely discovered that not only himself, but also the other Arhats, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, no matter how they spoke Buddhist scriptures to their respective disciples, received no response.
It's as if they have no awareness at all.
But that's it.
The Buddhist disciple corresponding to the pot-bellied Buddha suddenly twisted his neck.
A strange meaning also flashed in his large, clear eyes.
Chen Huangpi is manipulating people and fruits.
Or rather, this person has now become his alternate form.
That's why it's considered unconventional.
That's because Chen Huangpi can control this person to do many things.
But the human's instincts remain.
That is, hunger, cruelty, and an indescribable irritability.
After getting used to the human fruit's body, Chen Huangpi suddenly braced himself with his tender arms and sat cross-legged. At first glance, he really did look quite dignified.
It's just not quite there yet.
After all, when the Buddha spoke, it was a melodious chant, imbued with Buddhist intent.
Fortunately, dried tangerine peel has a similar ability.
He activated the radiant light within the temple of his heart, but did not release it; he merely drew upon its power.
"Big-bellied Buddha, so you're the one who wants to convert this Buddhist disciple, right?"
"The Buddha's disciple has spoken!!!"
All eyes turned to them instantly.
Feeling the gazes upon him, the big-bellied Buddha breathed a sigh of relief.
He wasn't afraid of Buddhist disciples speaking up; he was afraid of them not speaking up.
“What the Buddhist disciple says is very true.”
The Laughing Buddha regained his smile and said calmly, "Today I save you, and tomorrow you will save me. This is the original intention of the Buddha cutting off his own flesh to feed the eagle. Good and evil, right and wrong, are all my Buddha."
Chen Huangpi nodded: "In that case, then cut off your flesh. This Buddhist disciple is hungry and wants to become a vulture."
"Cut...meat?"
The smile on the big-bellied Buddha's face froze: "Buddha's disciple, what I am talking about is a story, the true meaning of the Buddha. This is not how one talks about Buddhist scriptures."
Chen Huangpi said, "So you mean what you're saying is nonsense?"
"The so-called allusions are naturally past events."
“Since we’ve spoken about it, we should set an example by doing it ourselves.”
"Or are you simply not prepared to sacrifice your own flesh to feed the eagle?"
His words were delivered from a very tricky angle.
The big-bellied Buddha is even more strange. The story of cutting off one's own flesh to feed an eagle is just a legend. How did it suddenly become that he had to cut off his own flesh to feed the Buddha's disciples?
“Buddha’s disciple, I am naturally aware of this.”
The big-bellied Buddha patiently said, "But the story is just a story, it can't be taken seriously."
Chen Huangpi said, "I understand. The Buddha never cut off his own flesh to feed the eagle. This story was made up by you. It seems that this Buddhist disciple cannot be converted by you."
"Where does this fabrication claim come from?"
The big-bellied Buddha frowned and said, "If you, my disciple, wish to use this to explain Buddhist principles to me, then please eat my flesh."
After saying that, the Laughing Buddha waved his hand at his abdomen.
In an instant, a piece of white meat fell in front of Chen Huangpi.
Chen Huangpi shook his head and said, "Too fat. Do you have any thinner ones?"
The pot-bellied Buddha remained silent, only cutting flesh relentlessly.
Gradually, an idea began to pop into his head.
The Buddha's disciple is the reincarnation of the Buddha in this life.
Although, apart from the one that is unique, the rest must be fake.
But before the distinction is made, any of the other Buddhist disciples could be genuine, and they should all be treated with utmost seriousness.
Moreover, the only Buddhist disciple who has spoken is the one right in front of us.
Consider it from this perspective.
The strange words spoken by the Buddhist disciple could not be considered fallacies.
A Buddhist disciple can't really be hungry and want to eat meat, can he?
Chen Huangpi had no idea that the big-bellied Buddha was thinking the wrong thing.
He shook his head and said, "Lean meat gets stuck in my teeth, how can this Buddhist disciple eat it?"
The big-bellied Buddha then chopped off pieces of flesh that were both fat and lean.
"Buddha's disciple, how is this meat?"
"No way."
Chen Huangpi said, "I am currently just an infant, and I haven't even grown any teeth yet. How can you expect me to bite me?"
"Chop everything into minced meat, chop it very finely."
"What about this time?"
"It still doesn't work. They can't tell the fat from the lean, and they smell terrible when they're all mixed together."
Chen Huangpi kept making demands.
The big-bellied Buddha was initially a little annoyed, after all, even Buddhas have anger, but gradually, his anger subsided.
"I save my Buddha, and my Buddha saves me."
The Laughing Buddha thought to himself, "Could it be that I, the Buddha, am saving me? My body is nothing but two hundred bones. What does it matter if I remove the flesh and blood? The flesh is just a stinking bag of skin. If I remove the flesh, I will see only white bones."
He gradually figured out some strange things.
This is not orthodox Buddhism.
Rather, it's a very strange and sinister approach.
Let's look at ourselves again later.
The big-bellied Buddha suddenly realized that he had cut off all the flesh and blood from his own body.
Even the cartilage was cut into minced meat.
All that's left is a clean skeleton.
"My Buddha is merciful."
The skeletal Buddha with a large belly clasped his hands together and said joyfully, "Disciple thanks the Buddha for saving me and for teaching me the Impure White Bone Contemplation."
Chen Huangpi scoffed, "Does shedding your flesh and blood make you clean?"
The pot-bellied Buddha said, "Every bone is white; how can it be unclean?"
Chen Huangpi said, "Clothes make the man, and gold makes the Buddha. A man without clothes is like a wild beast, and a Buddha without a golden body is ugly and cruel. This Buddhist disciple will not save a monster like you."
As he spoke, he pointed to the Buddhas around him.
The Laughing Buddha's expression changed slightly; he saw how terrified the other Buddhas were looking at him.
A body of white bones, hideous and cruel.
It lacks any sense of solemnity or majesty.
Thinking of this, the strange Buddhist teachings he had come to understand kept pounding in his heart.
Ugly, so ugly!
"I beg Buddha to save me."
"The skin can be shed or put on."
Chen Huangpi grinned, and then his human-fruit body instantly collapsed, with all the golden light flowing into the minced meat that the big-bellied Buddha had chopped off.
Upon seeing this, the pot-bellied Buddha immediately reached out and scooped up some minced meat, intending to stick it onto his own skeletal body.
Soon, an even more hideous and grotesque monster appeared.
"Hahaha, I've become a Buddha!"
The pot-bellied Buddha grinned maliciously, "My Buddha is merciful, my Buddha saves me!!!"
He felt a strange power growing within him.
Those powers came from the flesh and blood he shed.
However, in the eyes of the other Buddhas, this was not enlightenment at all, but clearly a transformation into something evil.
To be precise, when it shed all its flesh and blood, leaving only its skeleton, it already showed signs of turning into an evil entity.
It only fully erupted after the flesh and blood were gathered around its body.
"Act immediately!!!"
"Slay this demon!!"
The various Buddhist figures instantly made their move, immediately suppressing the pot-bellied Buddha and trapping it within the twelve-petaled golden lotus platform.
Below.
The brass oil lamp stared in disbelief: "Master, how did you turn this pot-bellied Buddha into something sinister?"
It's a bit hard to understand.
It seemed as if Chen Huangpi had only moved his lips slightly.
That pot-bellied Buddha was like a fool; he killed himself.
"Nonsense, what do you mean I turned him into an evil being?"
Chen Huangpi touched his chest and said matter-of-factly, "A big belly can hold a lot, but it can't hold the suffering of all living beings. A fat belly can't fatten the world. He has been converted into a Buddha by me."
Within the temple of the heart, the radiant light is undergoing a transformation.
He did not activate the radiant light; otherwise, the moment the radiant light swept across, the pot-bellied Buddha would immediately turn into an evil entity and then vanish into nothingness.
However, this is how Hao Guang's abilities are utilized.
Chen Huangpi seemed as delighted as if he had discovered a new toy.
The light shone forth, and from its opening uttered seductive and demonic sounds, instantly turning the pot-bellied Buddha into a malevolent being.
Furthermore, it seems that Haoguang also benefited from this.
"Master said that Hao Guang can be released and withdrawn at the same time."
Chen Huangpi thought to himself, "If I can turn people into monsters, I can also turn monsters into people. If I debate Buddhist scriptures with these bald monks, I might be able to fully nurture Hao Guang."
Haoguang is not yet in its full potential.
One thing is missing: change.
Then look at those Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats who are preaching to people.
Chen Huangpi's eyes lit up.
He never liked these gold-plated, worthless Buddha statues.
What I saw and heard along the way made me realize how disgusting the Buddhist kingdoms in China were.
It's safe to say that even if people lined up to be beheaded, they wouldn't accidentally kill innocent people.
Because there are no good people at all.
Even the Zen Master Ditong next to him is no good either. If Chen Huangpi didn't still have a use for him, he would have sent him to the Western Paradise to meet his Buddha long ago.
"Huang Er, protect me!"
Chen Huangpi sat cross-legged on the coffin, his eyes slightly closed, and made a hand seal.
He wants to divide his mind into countless parts.
It differentiated into the bodies of 79,999 individuals.
Then, using the power of the radiant light of the Heart Temple, he debated with these Buddhas and converted them.
Soon, as time passed little by little.
The many Buddha figures on the twelve-tiered golden lotus platform were getting restless.
Those Buddhist disciples didn't know what was going on.
Suddenly, as if they had all awakened, they all started talking about Buddhist scriptures and debates.
And the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who were being debated by them all seemed increasingly out of sorts.
"Hehehe! I have become a Buddha!"
"I got it!"
"May the Buddha have mercy and deliver all sentient beings!"
A chilling aura emanated from those twisted figures.
The Buddhas, who were originally dignified and solemn.
Now they have all become extremely terrifying and cruel, their mouths spouting obscure and evil decadent music.
The big-bellied Buddha is one thing.
That was just an exception.
It also proved that the Buddhist disciple was a fake.
But now, it seems like all Buddhist disciples are fake.
"Something's wrong! Something's wrong!!!"
"The Mara Dharma Assembly, could it really be attracting the Heavenly Demons?"
"Stop! All of you stop! No debating with a Buddhist disciple!!!"
As the sun set, chaos erupted at the foot of the sacred mountain of Dajue and Dawu.
And on that mountain peak.
Two beams of light overlapped.
The magnificent voice of the Buddha of the past resounded.
"The World-Honored One, the Tathagata Buddha, once saw Mara."
Mara said: "Buddha, I will destroy your Dharma and destroy your Buddhism."
The Buddha said: How to destroy it?
"Mara replied: I will spend eighteen thousand years destroying your Dharma and Buddhism, and let my demonic children and grandchildren put on robes, gild their bodies, and enter the temples to spread my heresies and corrupt your believers."
"Wherever the Buddha is then, I will be there."
"One thought can make you a Buddha, one thought can make you a demon."
This is a story known throughout the Buddhist world of China.
Now that the Buddha of the past has brought this up again, it has instantly reminded many Buddhas of this matter.
The Future Buddha said, "Of the eighty thousand Buddhas, only one is the true Buddha of this world. If there is a true Buddha, then there must be a false Buddha. The false Buddha is a descendant of Mara, who corrupts my Dharma and my Buddhism."
"Let him go, for where there is demon, there is Buddha."
"The last disciple of Buddha is the true Buddha of this world."
"When the Buddha's light shines upon all and demons are vanquished, that will be the day when Buddhism flourishes."
The Buddhas of the past recount the past; the Buddhas of the future expound on the future.
After the two Buddhas finished speaking, they disappeared.
With the Buddha no longer here, it's actually quite difficult for them to do anything.
However, the convening of this Mara Dharma Assembly was their doing, and this situation was expected, so everything was under control.
Upon seeing this, all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats joined their palms together and uttered words of compassion.
Of the original 80,000 Buddhist disciples, only 3,000 remain.
As the saying goes, "If I'm not in hell, who will?"
I offered myself to the demon, and in doing so I found the Buddha.
This was a great awakening for them.
"This is the true classic of Buddha's incarnation!"
Zen Master Ditong said excitedly, "Many demons and their offspring have infiltrated Buddhism, intending to defile the teachings of Buddhism. It is only waiting for Benefactor Chen to awaken, purify Buddhism, and save all sentient beings!"
Chen Huangpi laughed at his remarks.
The brass oil lamp burst into laughter: "You know what, what those bald monks say actually makes sense. Mara's Dharma Assembly, Mara's children and grandchildren, aren't those 80,000 Buddhas just Mara's children and grandchildren?"
"As for the true Buddha, I have indeed never seen any true Buddha in this Buddhist land of China."
"Even if there is, it's you, Chen Huangpi."
"I don't want to be a Buddha."
Chen Huangpi sneered, "Besides, where are the Buddhas here? They're clearly all demons."
The entire Buddhist kingdom of Central China is a living hell.
From top to bottom, all are sinking into the sea of demons.
Chen Huangpi found the Buddhist scriptures laughable. If such things were true, Mara would have already accomplished them long ago. Otherwise, how could there be a story of the Buddha stepping down to eat people, or monks enclosing land and committing evil deeds?
“Yellow-skinned father, aren’t we looking for the Jianmu tree branch? Why are we wasting our breath on these bastards? Why don’t we just kill them all?”
Jin Jiao couldn't understand the point of Chen Huangpi doing this.
It felt quite happy, though.
But if I keep watching, it gets a bit tedious.
Chen Huangpi patted Jinjiao's head and said with a smile, "If the Buddha does not appear in this world, how can the three bodies of Buddha be united? If the three bodies of Buddha are not united, where does the so-called Bodhi tree come from?"
The Bodhi tree is a branch of the Jianmu tree.
Silver Horn asked in confusion, "But those people are all your demonic offspring, Yellow Skin Father. Can these things become Buddhas?"
Chen Huangpi said, "Of course not, but it's getting dark soon, and we'll see after dark."
"After dark, will you, Yellow-skinned Father, become the Buddha of this world?"
"He's no Buddha, he's only Mara."
The brass oil lamp laughed incessantly, finding it absolutely brilliant.
This trip to the Buddhist kingdom of China was far more interesting than anything before.
At this moment, it also understood how clever the abbot's methods were and how insidious his intentions were.
He cut off his position as the Buddha of this life early on and turned it into relics.
Today it is today.
It should be here.
However, this time the brass oil lamp did not harbor any malicious thoughts about the abbot.
It just felt that the abbot was playing too dirty.
When the upheaval in the world first began, it was estimated that they had already planned it out clearly. They usually kept a low profile, waiting for this moment to launch a sneak attack on the Buddhist Kingdom of the Central Plains.
I just don't know if that old turtle who lived for two eras is the result of the three Buddhas merging into one.
After all, whether it is the Buddha of the past, the Buddha of the future, or the Buddha of the present.
These three Buddhas are all very independent.
It doesn't seem to be a simple matter of multiplying one into three.
As time passes little by little.
The Mara Dharma Assembly is still ongoing.
However, as the number of Buddhist disciples decreased, the twelve-tiered golden lotus platform gradually rose up the sacred mountain.
When they reached the halfway point of the mountain, only three thousand Buddhist disciples remained.
Three thousand Buddhist disciples.
There will inevitably be three thousand Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats who will expound Buddhist doctrines with him, thus inducing the true Buddha of this world to be reincarnated.
But soon, one by one, the Buddhist disciples revealed their true colors.
These Buddhas are corrupted by evil and obscure decadent music, causing them to become distorted and transformed into something evil.
Until the very last Buddha statue.
The Buddhist disciple had rosy lips and white teeth; though he was only the size of an infant, his handsome features were undeniable.
This Buddhist disciple had never spoken before.
This is also the last one that Chen Huangpi kept to buy time.
"Could this be the reincarnation of the Buddha in this life?"
"If only one of the eighty thousand Buddhist disciples survives, could he possibly be a demon's offspring?"
"Who will explain Buddhist scriptures to the Buddhist disciples of this generation?"
That's a very insightful question.
The only one still responding to this Buddhist disciple was a Bodhisattva, a Bodhisattva with a dragon's head and a human body, but with only one eye on the top of his head.
She was known as Luang Phor Bodhisattva.
Luang Phor Bodhisattva was somewhat disappointed.
Because she had tried everything she could, but still couldn't get the Buddhist disciple of this life to even glance at her.
For her, this meant missing out on an incredible opportunity.
It is quite clear that this is the Buddha of this world.
If she can help the Buddha of this world achieve enlightenment and regain his Buddhahood, she will surely have a place in the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas.
But once it's missed, it's missed.
If you can't do it, you can't do it.
"Let this Buddha do it!"
A Buddha descended to earth; when he opened his mouth, he spoke only Buddhist principles, and when he closed his mouth, he spoke only Buddhist scriptures.
But the Buddhist disciple of this life still did not speak, only looked at him calmly.
Then, one Buddha after another descended the stage.
But none of them worked.
As darkness approached, the many Buddhas grew even more anxious.
Buddhist scriptures say that when the Buddha was born, the sun shone brightly in the sky.
Therefore, it must be during the day, not at night.
at this time.
The past Buddhas and future Buddhas couldn't stand it anymore.
They couldn't understand why the reincarnation of the Buddha in this life didn't respond to any Buddhist chants. Surely this one couldn't also be a demon's offspring.
The twelve-tiered golden lotus platform has now been raised to the top of the mountain.
Just one step away, the gates of the San Shen Wan Fo Temple will open, welcoming the Buddha of this lifetime back to his rightful place.
"When all Buddhas pay homage to the One, it is your turn to face the consequences."
At the command of the Future Buddha, all the Buddhas in the magnificent Wanfo Temple, whose heads had been chopped off, descended from their lotus platforms.
The Buddha of this life is not here; neither the Buddha of the past nor the Buddha of the future can leave Wanfo Temple.
Therefore, they could only send their own disciples.
These Buddhas are different from those outside; they are the true forms of Buddhas manifested on the petals and leaves of a twelve-petaled golden lotus.
Before his head was cut off, he was a being comparable to an immortal.
Of course, although it is known as the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas.
There is actually no such thing as ten thousand Buddhas; in essence, there is only one Buddha.
The Three Bodies of Buddhas are in front, and the Ten Thousand Buddhas are behind.
There has only ever been one Buddha.
Just as all sentient beings can become Buddhas, the one who becomes Buddha is this very Buddha.
The gates of the San Shen Wan Fo Temple remain tightly closed.
But numerous headless and mutilated Buddhas appeared out of nowhere.
This greatly shocked the Buddhas outside.
"Wish-fulfilling Buddha!"
"Brahma Buddha!"
"The Greatly Compassionate and Merciful Savior Buddha!"
"Why have these Buddhas become like this? Where are their heads?"
It should be understood that for thousands of years, the Three Bodies of Ten Thousand Buddhas Great Perfection Holy Mountain has been a sacred place, a place they can never set foot in.
No one is allowed to enter the San Shen Wan Fo Temple.
To them, Buddha is omnipotent and supreme.
But see you today.
Those supreme Buddhas had all had their heads chopped off.
They've all become so incomplete.
These kinds of Buddhas don't look as much like Buddhas as they do.
And at this moment.
Those Buddhas who had revealed their true forms slowly turned their compassionate gazes cold.
"The Buddha is flawless."
“Your sins are grave, so let your blood wash them away.”
These ten thousand Buddhas descended and unleashed a massacre.
These false Buddhas were summoned to convene the Mara Dharma Assembly, so that they could use Buddhist principles to influence the true Buddha of this world.
Now they're all getting involved themselves.
These ugly fake Buddhas naturally have no reason to exist.
"May Buddha have mercy, please don't kill me."
"After you die, you will ascend to the Western Paradise. There is no need for such panic. I am here to guide you!"
Under the cover of night, the murderous intent was fully revealed.
With ten thousand Buddhas descending to slaughter and reap the spoils, there was naturally no chance for those false Buddhas to survive.
It only takes a moment.
The moment the crimson moon hangs high in the sky, the entire sacred mountain is bathed in golden blood.
Corpses littered the ground, piles of white bones staring defiantly.
Thick black smoke billowed from the bones, seemingly about to transform into demonic offspring.
But then the two round lights at the top of the San Shen Wan Fo Temple shone.
The black smoke dissipated, and the Buddha's light shone brightly.
goooo...
Within that hidden supernatural power.
The Zen Master Ditong, who had managed to survive, swallowed hard. His legs trembled, and he knelt on the ground in terror.
There was a time when he also wanted to participate in this Mara Dharma Assembly.
For him, this was the moment of his life's glory.
However, in retrospect, this was not a time of glory, but rather the approach of death.
"Buddha... Buddha..."
Zen Master Ditong subconsciously looked at the Buddha sitting on the coffin.
However, his Buddha in this life has changed drastically at this moment.
He was wearing a black and gold Taoist robe.
Her dark hair was draped behind her.
His expression was cold and stern, with a golden-black vertical line visible between his eyebrows.
In Chen Huangpi's eyes, an unusual phenomenon appeared: the bright moon rising above the sea of thunder.
He entered the state of the Six Yin Gods.
Moreover, within the temple, the brilliant light was spinning wildly, like a sphere of chaotic color.
The mind temple has achieved complete mastery, reaching its ultimate perfection.
Even the kidney temple and liver temple were shaking continuously at this moment.
"I am not your Buddha."
Chen Huangpi said coldly, "I will not convert you, but I have used you these past few days. Killing you would not be my style, but letting you go would make me feel even more disgusted."
"So, you might as well become an evil spirit."
After saying that, he flashed a dazzling light across his chest.
In an instant, Zen Master Ditong transformed into an evil being.
It was grotesque and twisted, and the long-healed fontanelle on its head was open, like a passageway.
But then, Zen Master Ditong let out a wail and lost himself.
It looked at Chen Huangpi with utmost awe.
But now it only harbors malice, and it wants to vent it.
But it hasn't found its target yet.
A gaping maw loomed large before it.
Silver Horn shouted, "Shut up! I'm spating you out of my life and you still look at me like that? Bah! You lowly bastard! Your flesh is still rotten!"
Let's look beyond the concealed supernatural powers.
The enormous twelve-tiered golden lotus platform is shrinking.
It shrunk to the size of a cradle, leaving only the last Buddha statue sitting on it.
Ten thousand Buddhas arrived in a throng.
This time, however, Chen Huangpi wouldn't wait for them to ask questions before reciting Buddhist scriptures.
The man sneered and said disdainfully, "You commit acts of killing, and you call yourselves Buddhas?"
The headless Buddha said, "The Buddha of this world is unaware that by laying down the butcher's knife, one can instantly become a Buddha. Although we have committed acts of killing, we are still Buddhas."
The man nodded, then stood up and urinated.
The Buddhas, not understanding, asked, "What Buddhist principle is this, Lord Buddha of this age?"
Renguo Dao pointed at the puddle of urine and said, "There's no Buddhist principle involved. I just think you're shameless, so I peed on you so you can see yourselves."
After saying that, the man collapsed instantly, and billowing black smoke rose into the sky.
All eighty thousand Buddhist disciples are sons and grandsons of demons.
The Buddhas were stunned, dumbfounded, and looked at this scene in disbelief.
So, where is the true reincarnation of the Buddha in this life?
And just then.
Chen Huangpi emerged, a coffin hanging above his head and the Void Sword at his waist.
Behind him, in the shadows.
A twisted figure slowly crawled out.
It was none other than the Buddha they had been longing for in this world.
The Buddhas suddenly realized the truth and bowed in unison, saying, "Greetings to the Buddha of this world."
No need for formalities.
Chen Huangpi coldly said, "I ask you, is it true that laying down the butcher's knife will instantly make you a Buddha?"
"Of course it's true."
"very good."
Chen Huangpi nodded, then suddenly drew the Void-Piercing Divine Sword from his waist. In an instant, the sword light soared into the sky, and he cleaved the headless Buddha in front of him to death with a single strike.
The golden body of the headless Buddha collapsed.
All of its magical power flowed into Chen Huangpi's shadow.
A faint, round light appeared behind Chen Huangpi's head.
The Buddhas were greatly alarmed.
They did not understand why the Buddha in this life should commit acts of killing.
No matter how you look at it, the Buddha before you in this life is the real and true one.
The Buddhist aura surrounding him was impossible to suppress.
Mara's demonic offspring can impersonate the Buddha in his childhood, but this also tells them what the true Buddha of this world looks like.
Moreover, Chen Huangpi exudes too much Buddhist aura.
It exerted an extremely terrifying suppressive force on them.
It would be impossible for anyone other than the Buddha of this world to accomplish such a miraculous feat.
"Buddha, why are you doing this?!"
"Don't worry about it."
Chen Huangpi flicked the blood off the Void-Piercing Divine Sword and questioned, "Now that I've laid down my butcher's knife, can I become a Buddha?"
"This……"
"Yes, you are the Buddha of this world, so it is only natural that you can become a Buddha by laying down your butcher's knife."
next second.
The sword light swept past another headless Buddha.
Another Buddha has fallen to Chen Huangpi's sword.
Chen Huangpi asked, "Now? Can I become a Buddha?"
Just then, the voices of the past Buddha and the future Buddha came from that temple.
"Yes! You can do it!"
When the Buddha returns in this life, he will naturally gather all Buddhas into one body, which is what they believe is the proper thing to do.
It is that coffin hanging above the head of this Buddha in this world.
Why do they give us such a terrifying feeling?
And this is the posture of the Buddha in this life at this moment.
It seems like I've seen it somewhere before.
The reincarnated body naturally looks different from the Buddha in his previous life.
When it truly returns to its original state, it will revert to its original form. Of course, the unification of the three bodies of Buddha is another interpretation.
But now, both the Buddha of the past and the Buddha of the future feel that something is not right.
What exactly has this Buddha been reincarnated into?
It feels as if Buddha and demon are one. (End of Chapter)
