Chapter 291 Sanxiao Leaves Sanxian Island

The immortals and gods of both sides took action, and disputes began to break out between Da Shang and Xiqi.

Because of the strong support of the Chan Sect, Ji Chang no longer had any listless or timid mentality. His momentum became stronger day by day, and he clearly had the appearance of a future Holy Emperor.

One day, Ji Chang, like Su Hu, the prince of Jizhou, actually wrote an anti-poem in public, and the meaning of this poem was exactly the same as the one written by Su Hu.

When this incident happened, the whole world was in an uproar. You must know that Ji Chang and Su Hu are completely different. The former is one of the only four princes in the world, a king of a different surname, while the latter is just one of the eight hundred princes.

The public rebellion of a vassal king of a different surname had an irreplaceable impact on the world, especially since Ji Chang read out Emperor Xin's ten crimes in public. If an ordinary citizen committed each of these crimes, he would be punished by being cut into pieces.

Ji Chang was even more reluctant to call the other party the Emperor of Shang, and instead directly called him King Zhou.

Zhou was a tyrannical, cruel and licentious person. Ji Chang gave Emperor Xin such a title, which was naturally meant to humiliate him, and it also represented his determination to fight to the death.

As expected, all the princes in the world who had a little self-preservation idea were unwilling to call Di Xin the emperor anymore, and instead called him King Zhou.

It is said that all the people in the world are as complex as water. Water can carry a boat, but it can also capsize it. Everyone calls Emperor Xin King Zhou. Even if Emperor Xin is not King Zhou, he must be him.

When King Zhou learned about this, he was furious and without hesitation, he immediately sent the Grand Tutor Wen Zhong, who had just returned to Chaoge, to lead the army. He also ordered King Wucheng Huang Feihu to lead the army to conquer Xiqi.

But Xiqi is different from Jizhou. Xiqi is blessed by God and is naturally a place that is easy to defend and difficult to attack.

It is surrounded by mountains with water flowing in all directions. Simply connecting one or two of them can form a natural barrier.

Moreover, more princes began to pledge allegiance to Xiqi and vowed to overthrow the tyrannical Shang Dynasty.

Just like when the founder of the Shang Dynasty overthrew the Xia Dynasty, people's hearts in the world have begun to become confused.

puff!
At the moment when Ji Chang rebelled in public, countless Jiejiao immortals spat out blood, their bodies became weak, their eyes were red, and their expressions became even more violent, as if they were infected by the calamity.

Because the situation of destroying Shang has already emerged, all kinds of dragon-slaying secret treasures have fallen into the hands of many generals in Xiqi.

These dragon-slaying secret treasures cannot kill other dragons, but they are extremely lethal to the people of Da Shang.

Nearly 30% of the dragon-slaying secret treasures are used to slay the dragon of destiny of the Shang Dynasty. Each one is extremely terrifying, let alone thousands of them combined into one.

The Golden Dragon of Da Shang's luck had already suffered severe damage, and now it was targeted by these dragon-slaying secret treasures. Naturally, it was hit even harder and was no longer even one tenth of its original size.

The fortunes of Jiejiao and Dashan are connected. There are countless Jiejiao immortals who have relied on the fortune of Dashan to practice. Now that the fortune of Dashan has been damaged, the Golden Dragon of Fortune naturally begins to call for the lost fortune to return.

These Jiejiao immortals had to give up as much luck as they had borrowed, or even more. Some people with shallow roots even died and their souls were included in the List of Gods.

Guangchengzi had anticipated this, so he once again warned his many fellow disciples, apprentices, and nephews that they could use luck to comprehend the Dao, but they must never use luck to fill their cultivation base.

If one compares cultivation to a towering building, then practice is adding bricks and stones to the building. The taller the building, the stronger one is.

If the bricks are obtained by slowly comprehending the great truth step by step, they are self-bricks.

No one can take away a monk's self-bricks unless they forcibly knock down his building. But even if they knock down the building, it is impossible to damage the opponent's strength in the slightest, because all of this is his self.

Even magic weapons like the Hunyuan Golden Bowl can only forcibly cut off a part of the building and make it collapse on its own, but it is also impossible to snatch even a single brick or stone.

But if one uses luck to expand the understanding of the great Dao and thereby increase strength, then this type of bricks and stones are called luck bricks and stones.

Not only can the lucky bricks and stones not defeat their own bricks and stones, but they are also easily attracted by the luck of the outside world. If this brick and stone happens to be located in some important position, then the withdrawal of just one or two bricks may cause the collapse of the entire building.

This is why during the Dragon and Phoenix Calamity, there were almost dozens of Hunyuan Gods in the world, and there were more than thousands of Daluo Jinxians from the three tribes.

But after the catastrophe was over, not only was there no Hunyuan God left, but even those Daluo Jinxians were either dead or disabled. It would be good if there were only a dozen left out of the thousands.

It was because when the catastrophe reached its climax, the luck of the three tribes was greatly damaged, and they had to start calling upon the extracted luck. These lucks were then transformed by the three tribes into self-cultivation and turned into bricks and stones for the building.

The result is obvious. The ending of these sacred things is that the buildings collapse, their cultivation is destroyed, and those who come out of the luck are taken away by the luck again.

Of course, the biggest reason why Jiejiao is different from the three tribes of dragon, phoenix and so on is that there is a saint named Tongtian in charge, who can ensure that the fortune of Jiejiao is maintained at a certain level no matter what.
But this level can only barely keep these people alive, but it would be extremely difficult to maintain their previous cultivation.

Especially without the protection of human luck, these people were too closely involved with the Shang Dynasty and had now been completely dragged into the disaster.

In the Conferred God Platform, the Conferred God List was whirring and the Divine Whip was shining. There was no telling how many names appeared on the list, and almost all of them were doomed.

Nearly 99% of the names are the names of the ancient immortals of the Jiejiao Sect, and naturally they will be known to the Six Saints.

In this regard, Laozi sighed, Nuwa ignored it, Jie Yin and Zhunti were happy to watch the show, Yuanshi Tianzun smiled, and Tongtian Jiaozhu looked livid.

However, the Six Saints had already agreed that no saint could take action during the catastrophe unless all the saints agreed. Even if Master Tongtian regretted the lives of his own disciples, he had to endure it temporarily.

"No, if Wen Zhong and Huang Feihu cannot defeat Xiqi, the fortune of the Shang Dynasty will be further damaged, and my disciples will also accept their fate!"

On the Jin'ao Island, in the Biyou Palace, the leader of the Tongtian sect frowned. He took the Qingping sword in his hand and put it down again and again. He wanted to take action immediately, but he could only throw it aside. It was really not satisfying!
Tongtian Patriarch murmured, "Whatever, whatever. Everything is determined by fate. Even if he is included in the Conferred God List, he will not be free in the future in the Heavenly Palace. Why should I bother with it?"

After realizing this, Master Tongtian became more relaxed, but there seemed to be something strange on the Sanxian Island.

Looking from afar at the numerous Shangqing immortal lights on the nearby immortal islands dimming in an instant, Bixiao's pretty face was quite dissatisfied: "Big sister, in my opinion, we should attack immediately to reverse the decline!
Now we are sitting alone on the fairy island, enjoying ourselves, but many of our brothers and sisters are wandering outside, lonely and helpless, and even in danger of dying. How can I tolerate this!"

Qiongxia was also somewhat moved, and said slowly: "Yes, sister, I think what I said makes sense. If we continue to stay, who knows if the commander will be disappointed in us."

Unlike his two younger sisters who were moved, Yunxiao was calm and composed, with no expression on his face.

Her beautiful eyes were tightly closed, obviously trying to comprehend the truth. Her hair was glowing with light, and a figure was looming in the cloud above her head. It was her Goddess Baiyun, the Good Corpse.

Lady Baiyun sat on the ceiling, holding the Hunyuan Golden Bowl in her hand, and there was also an illusory figure on the ground, with a faint smile, which was obviously about to solidify. Yunxiao had unknowingly stepped into the stage of beheading two corpses, that is, the seventh level of Hunyuan. The speed of his cultivation progress was simply jaw-dropping.

Seeing that their sister didn't say anything, the two girls hurried forward, constantly pulling her hands and acting coquettishly, hoping that Yunxiao would agree to let them go out.

Being disturbed by his own sister, Yun Xiao couldn't pretend he didn't hear anything, so he had to open his eyes and frowned, saying, "You two enemies, I don't let you go out for your own good.

If you go out, you will definitely get into trouble, and now is the Conferred God Tribulation. If something goes wrong, the three of us sisters may be included in the Conferred God List. Do you want me to be separated from you?"

Bi Xiao pouted and said, "I have the Golden Dragon Shears, how could I be killed like this? Maybe I will kill one or two immortals from the Chan Sect to prove my Jie Sect!"

Yunxiao just couldn't stand Bixia talking about killing people all the time, so he immediately scolded her, "What are you talking about! Killing this and that? If you really have the ability, why not just kill the entire Conferred God Calamity!"

After being scolded by Yunxiao, Bixiao felt very aggrieved. He turned his face away and decided not to say anything.

Seeing this, Qiong Xiao quickly tried to smooth things over, saying, "Don't be angry, big sister. I was just acting on impulse. It shows that I have grown up, which is a good thing."

Yunxiao sighed heavily, then reached out and pulled Bixiao over to sit down.

Bixiao was twisting and turning at first, unwilling to sit down, but after Yunxiao patted her, she calmed down.

Then she pulled Qiong Xiao over and sat down next to her.

Yun Xiao held her two sisters' hands and said earnestly, "I know what you are thinking, you just can't stand seeing Jiejiao being humiliated, so you want to take action immediately to save the situation.

But you also need to know one thing, that is, God's will is like a knife, and every knife will kill those who are not in line with its will. Now it is destined that those junior brothers and sisters will be included in the List of Gods.

Although we have the will to defy the heaven, we don't have the strength to do so. If we just charge forward, there will be no other choice but death, so I would rather save you and destroy my reputation."

After hearing this, Bi Xiao could not help but refute: "The teachings of my Jie Sect are to seize a chance of life and force a way out of a road that is doomed to death. How can we follow the heart of the Chan Sect that follows the will of heaven? Isn't this too much of a loss of our prestige?"

Qiong Xiao also hesitated and said, "Yes, big sister, if someone knows that we are hiding and not showing up, then our reputation will be lost. At worst, I will accompany you to lose your reputation.

But if someone deliberately slanders and spreads rumors, and Master knows about it, he might suspect that we are disrespectful. Wouldn't that be a loss? We must please Master.

Faced with his sister's questioning, Yunxiao did not suppress her blindly, but reached out and took out a copy of "Huangting Neijing Jing".

This sutra is a collection of Taoist texts from Hongjun Daozu's preaching, compiled by the Six Saints. Out of compassion, they specially released it to the world of prehistoric times so that anyone can understand it.

The "Huangting Neijing Jing" contains the true meaning of the great Dao of seven saints, but this meaning is hidden too deeply, and ordinary people cannot get even a word of it, and can only sigh while sitting on a treasure mountain.

Therefore, even if the "Huangting Neijing Jing" was spread throughout the ancient world, few people were willing to read it carefully. After all, instead of spending time trying to figure out the sage's intentions, it would be better to explore the great truth on their own.

However, all powerful monks would read the "Huangting Neijing Jing" more often, hoping to get some inspiration from the saint's path.

Not to mention Yunxiao, even the saints’ first disciples such as Guangchengzi, Xuandu Master, Duobao, Yaoshi, and Maitreya often took out the "Huangting Neijing Jing" to read. It was really new every time they read it, and they had special insights every time they read it.

"Tell me, why did our master let us read the Huangting Neijing Jing in the cave instead of the Biyou Jietian Zhenlu?" Yunxiao asked.

Qiong Xiao was a little puzzled, but Bi Xiao was smarter. He rolled his eyes and said immediately, "That's because the Huangting Neijing Sutra contains seven saintly truths. If you can figure out one of the truths, you can get some saintly love."

Yun Xiao praised: "Yes, what I said is right, if we can understand the true meaning of other saints besides Master, we can get some incense.

That saint will also value us more. The reason why Guangchengzi can move freely in the east and west and up and down must be that he has seen the great ways of several other saints.

Look at the many celestial beings, bodhisattvas and Buddhas from the Western Paradise who come to Kunlun Mountain to discuss the Dao. Guangchengzi would occasionally come out in person to converse with these gods and Buddhas.

Whether it is the way of expounding the heavens, the great way of nirvana, the great way of tranquility or even the Buddhist way, Guangchengzi can speak fluently, and is not even half as good as those celestial beings, bodhisattvas and Buddhas.

Even Xumi and Medicine Master personally admitted that their understanding of their master's great Dao was not as good as Guangchengzi's, and even their understanding of Buddhism was on par with theirs.

And Master did not ask us to regard Guangchengzi as the primary target for elimination. It can be seen that Guangchengzi has comprehended a lot of Master's Heaven-Smiting Great Way, so naturally he can get along well with people from all directions.

So I don't let you provoke him, it's for your sake, and I also want you to understand more about the Huangting Neijing Sutra. I have understood a little bit of the meaning of Chantian Dadao, and I was just about to tell you. "

After hearing Yunxiao's earnest teachings, the two girls felt ashamed.

However, Qiong Xiao felt a little guilty, and couldn't help but say, "Big sister is right, but we have something that we don't know whether we should tell you."

Yunxiao said all that was in her heart, and she seemed much more relaxed. She smiled and said, "We are sisters who spend every day together. If there is anything that is difficult to say, just say it."

The two girls looked at each other, and Bixiao pursed her lips and said, "We have never dared to tell you, elder sister, that Shen Gongbao came to report the rescue not long ago, and elder brother has already rushed to Chaoge to help nephew Wen Zhong to defeat the Xiqi army."

"what!"

Even though Yunxiao was prepared, he was almost frightened to death by the news.

She stood up immediately, without even having time to say a few words to the two women, and instantly turned into a cloud like a rosy glow, and quickly headed towards Chaoge.

If you ask Yunxiao who he cares about more besides his two younger sisters, it is undoubtedly his eldest brother Zhao Gongming.

Now that Zhao Gongming was led into disaster by Shen Gongbao, Yunxiao was furious and angry. He wished he could tear that despicable man apart alive and grind his bones to ashes to vent his anger!
She even suspected that this was a trick set up by Guangchengzi to take her elder brother's life.

But the most urgent task is to persuade Zhao Gongming to come back as soon as possible, rather than dwelling on these things.

The two girls looked at each other, but then they also turned into clouds of light, picked up various treasures, and immediately chased after Yunxiao.
