Paula felt sleepy while holding the mermaid's tail. She didn't know when she fell asleep. When she woke up, she found herself in the bedroom, with no one beside her. The mermaid was nowhere to be seen.

She propped herself up and suddenly felt something hard against her palm.

She raised her hand and opened her palm, revealing a blue scale lying there. Paula chuckled softly, "So it wasn't a dream after all."

"I forgot to ask him where he lived."

"I wonder if he would be interested in becoming my personal musician."

For a long time afterward, Paula never saw Ryuga again. She strung the scale on a rope and wore it around her neck, and her sleep improved significantly.
