Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy
Chapter 105: A harmless little curse
Chapter 105: A harmless little curse (Part )
Bringing magical creatures into the Muggle world is indeed a very criminal act.
Especially unicorns, which are... the most magical creatures among magical creatures. They will be happy to complete the admission procedures for Azkaban and enjoy one-on-one tutoring from the famous silver medal teacher Dementors.
What? You ask a famous teacher?
Of course, that was Voldemort, who gave Mr. Potter one-on-one tutoring at the end of last semester.
It would be fine if he brought a small creature like the Niffler, after all, the Niffler looks like a big rat and is easy to carry... He just has some minor quirks that are harmless, such as liking to pick up gold bars at the dock.
But the unicorn—it’s a little too eye-catching.
"Of course, you were attacked by Voldemort a while ago." Harry said worriedly, "Remember what Professor Whitehawk said? It's not the thief who steals that you should worry about, but the thief who thinks about it - you have been targeted by Voldemort now, and I really doubt when he will come to the Forbidden Forest to attack you. He escaped from the dungeon..."
Pabbie thought about it and felt that what Harry said made sense.
If Voldemort sets his sights on her again, it will be difficult for her to escape without Harry's help this time...
This Voldemort...is indeed not a human being.
Ah, it's not my fault. Who could have thought that the despicable Voldemort would ambush me in the dark? I'm over a hundred years old! She thought.
Thinking about it this way, Pabbie felt that he should indeed go with Harry.
"Then I can't follow you outside, can I?" Pappy said worriedly, "If you are caught by the Ministry of Magic, you will be brought to the Wizengamot Court - buying and selling unicorns is a serious crime."
"The box with the Traceless Extension Charm." Harry patted the suitcase. "I trust you. You won't eat all my books."
"Ah! You!" Pappy grabbed Harry's clothes and swung them back and forth in a muffled voice: "Harry~ Harry~ Who do you think I am!"
"but……"
Pabbie then said that she shook her head and the horns disappeared.
"I can hide it."
"Cool." Harry touched Pappy's head in surprise. "Hey, it's really gone. How did you do that?"
"I won't tell you." Pappy said softly.
"Okay." Harry opened the suitcase. "How about... you jump in first?"
"No one noticed?" Papy asked in a long voice, looking behind Harry.
Seeing that there was indeed no one there, Papi jumped into the suitcase.
"Turn on a lamp for me!" Pabbie shouted from the suitcase.
Harry waved his wand, conjured up a bright lamp for Pappy, and stuffed it into the suitcase.
"Come on," Harry said, "I'll take you away first..."
He closed his suitcase and snuck his way to Hogwarts Castle.
Neville had been looking for his toad since he'd left - thankfully, all the Gryffindors were helping him, and after a dragnet search of the entire castle, he finally found the toad in a corner of the girls' bathroom.
Notices were sent to every student, warning them not to use magic during the holidays.
"I was actually hoping they'd forget to give us this thing," Fred and George said in unison, looking very regretful.
For the first time ever, Hermione agreed with what they both said.
"I think so too. Not using spells for a long time at home will lead to rustiness." Hermione stuffed the letter under the plate: "I think I should talk to the headmaster about this situation..."
"It's Ministry rules, Hermione," said George.
"Then report this situation to the Minister of Magic," Hermione said again.
"I don't think those old stubborn people in the Ministry of Magic will listen to you, Miss Know-it-all." Fred chuckled: "I think the probability of you becoming the Minister of Magic is greater than the probability of the Minister of Magic listening to your opinion."
Hermione rolled her eyes at both of them. These two twins just loved to joke around.
I?
Minister for Magic?
Do not make jokes.
I am just a witch from a Muggle family. Those wizards who worship pure-blood will never allow a Muggle-born to be the Minister of Magic.
After having breakfast in the Great Hall, the students of Hogwarts also set out on their journey home.
Hagrid was still responsible for guiding the students onto the fleet anchored on the lake, and when Harry passed by him, he stuffed a bag of berries picked from the Forbidden Forest into Harry's hand.
"Thank you, Hagrid," said Harry happily.
"Share with your friends," said Hagrid, grinning. "If you need rock biscuits, or stoat sandwiches..."
"No, Hagrid, we all have lunches," said Ron quickly.
He was terribly afraid of the texture of rock pancakes and the hellish taste of stoat sandwiches.
God knows why this big guy Hagrid likes to cook dark food so much?
"Remember to write to me, Harry." Hagrid waved at them. "And the rest of you."
"We will." Ron smiled and waved goodbye to Hagrid.
After getting on the train, Harry, Ron and Hermione found an empty compartment.
Neville and Seamus were picked up early by their parents, so they did not take the Hogwarts Express.
This train is called an express train, but its actual speed is... well...
The last time the train was speeded up was because Mr. Septimus Malfoy generously donated money to upgrade the train's operating system.
"Time flies by so fast." Ron said with emotion, "You know, this feeling is really unreal, but also very relaxing - God."
"What you should know, Ron," Hermione kindly reminded, "is that Professor Snape and Professor Binns have assigned us summer homework - my God, a paper that is eleven inches long. I don't know how to write it..."
"It's only eleven inches." Ron said nonchalantly, "You just need to write bigger, and make the line spacing and word spacing wider. Then you can use the least amount of words to meet the eleven-inch length, right?"
"Oh thank you Ronald." Hermione rolled her eyes: "You don't think Professor Snape is an idiot and doesn't know your little clever tricks?"
"Professor Snape may not be smart, but Professor Binns is definitely not smart." Ron said with a smile: "I bet that even if Professor Binns collects these assignments, he won't mark them because he can't even touch them!"
The joke was a little too hellish, so much so that Hermione laughed for a moment with a sad heart.
"I think--"
Before Ron could finish his words, there was a knock on the door of the box.
"Come in," said Hermione.
The door to the box was opened, and standing in the doorway was a Hufflepuff boy.
"Oh, Cedric." Harry greeted him. "Harry, Ron, Hermione." Cedric smiled brightly. He was not shy at all. He looked at the three children and asked, "Can I sit here?"
"Of course." They said together.
Cedric sat next to Harry, looked at Harry and said, "Actually, Harry, I have something to talk to you about."
"What's the matter?" Harry opened a bag of Beebe Every Flavour Beans, took out a brown one, and handed it to Cedric, asking him to take one to try as well.
Cedric pulled out a fiery red one, looked at it in his hand, and said, "I... um, I heard you formed a dueling club in Gryffindor? Is that true?"
"Right." Harry took a sip of the every-flavored beans.
Chocolate flavor, very delicious.
"Oh, that's it." Cedric also ate the candy bean, but ended up revealing a mask of pain, with his handsome face flushed red.
Ron lowered his head and chuckled, feeling a little gloating.
Hermione nudged him gently with her elbow, asking him not to be so obvious.
"Chili," Cedric sniffed.
Harry took the unopened can of Coke from the table and handed it to Cedric. Cedric took the can, opened it with a click and took two big gulps, which got rid of the spicy feeling.
"Well, I have to admit that Muggle drinks are still very magical - look at these bubbles?" Cedric sighed, and then said, "This is it. I want to ask you if you can let Hufflepuff students join your dueling club."
"No problem." Harry did not refuse to accept some Hufflepuff classmates: "But there is one thing, don't let the professor know - because the dueling club will practice some harmless little evil spells on each other."
Hermione's eyes widened when she heard "harmless little jinx".
Holy shit! Are you really going to teach that stuff in the duel hut?!
Poor Cedric hadn't realized what Harry meant yet, a pleased smile appeared on his handsome face.
"Thank you, Harry, thank you," he said. "I can't believe you accepted my request. You know, before I came here, many people didn't trust my judgment. They thought you wouldn't accept students from other colleges."
Harry smiled.
"We are all students at Hogwarts, Ced—can I call you that?"
"Of course, Harry." Cedric was even happier. "I think if it's a duel, practicing some harmless little evil spells is really not a big deal. After all, how can we make a better counterattack if we don't understand them? What's more, we also need some useful spells to fight against the bad guys among wizards."
"Of course." Harry smiled and said, "As you said, the purpose of our Dueling Lodge is to make our classmates understand the dangers of society."
"Okay, Harry, thank you." Cedric stood up: "I think I should go. They are still waiting for me to go back and inform them of the results."
"Okay, bye, Ced." Harry nodded with a smile.
Ron and Hermione said goodbye to Cedric together. The sunny and cheerful boy said goodbye to them one by one and turned to leave the box.
By the time Cedric closed the door, Hermione couldn't help herself.
"Good God! Harry, are you really going to teach us that... that jinx?"
"What are you so excited about, Hermione?" Harry gave Hermione a strange look.
"Am I excited?" Hermione hit her thigh with her hand: "No, Harry, I still want to correct you. Don't let certain families lead you astray..."
Certain families?
Surely they are talking about the Gaunts, Harry thought.
"You're wrong, Hermione. It's really just a harmless little curse." Harry said to Hermione with a smile, "Don't let your imagination run wild all the time."
"Oh? Oh!" Hermione was stunned, and then she understood what Harry meant.
"It turns out to be a harmless little curse. I thought it was..." Hermione thought for a long time, gesturing with her fingers in the air, and didn't dare to say the spells out loud, "... "
"The Imperius Curse?" Harry asked with a raised eyebrow.
Hermione rolled her eyes at him. "Do you really have to say this spell, Mr. Potter?"
"This is part of my study plan," Harry said to Hermione. "The Imperius Curse... is the course you will learn in the next stage."
Hermione froze, and the liquorice wand in her hand fell to the ground with a thud.
"No, what did you say?" she asked in disbelief.
"The Imperius Curse is our next learning goal." Ron repeated nonchalantly, "If I heard correctly."
Hey, it’s just learning. Isn’t it the same to learn something?
Ron has let it go and decided that it would be right to follow Harry's progress - after all, neither the professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts nor the mysterious person could beat him, right?
"Will we not be caught by the Ministry of Magic if we learn this spell?" Hermione said in despair, "Oh my God, if someone finds out, we might be expelled..."
"As long as we don't get caught, it'll be fine." Harry crossed his legs and said to Hermione, "This spell is quite special, Hermione. You have to know that if you are cursed many times, you will develop resistance to it. I'm not trying to make you master the spell itself, but to temper your will and make you resistant to it."
You see, this is the art of speaking.
After hearing what Harry said, Hermione felt that learning this little spell was not so difficult to accept.
"Well, if that's the case, I think we should try to practice it." Hermione said, "After all, dark wizards won't reason with us, right, Ron?"
"Yes." Ron nodded decisively.
As the train was about to arrive at the platform, Harry and the others changed their clothes.
Finally, the train slowly stopped at Platform 9 and 3/4.
The exit process was very slow and it took them a long time to queue up in a long line and walk out of the platform.
A wizened old guard manned the ticket gate, only allowing two or three people through at a time so that they wouldn't come in and out of the solid wall in large numbers at once and attract the attention of the Muggles.
"You must come to my house this summer, Harry." Ron invited Harry: "You don't know, my mother has been talking about you..."
"Ok, no problem."
Harry patted Ron's arm. This was part of his plan.
"When I finish what I'm doing, I'll visit your home."
When leaving the station, Harry also saw Mrs. Weasley, who was picking up Ron, the twins and Percy with her little daughter Ginny.
Harry expressed his sincere gratitude for her Christmas gift and once again accepted the invitation to visit the Weasleys during the summer vacation.
He took a deep breath as he walked out of the platform.
Ok……
Next stop, should be the Leaky Cauldron?
No, we should go to Knockturn Alley to stock up - how could we practice harmless little spells without a second wand?
