Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 304 Harry's Invitation

Chapter 304 Harry's Invitation

Harry understood Pappy's subtext.

The implication was clear: it's your business if you've eaten too many red beans and are feeling lovesick, but I haven't lived enough yet, and I don't want to die.

Harry, with a strong survival instinct, immediately pulled out his crystal ball and said to Papiyas, "You're right, Papiyas. I've decided to send Vivi a message now and invite her. What do you think?"

“Of course it’s great,” Papiyas said with a smile.

A short while later, Vivi answered the phone.

"Hi, Harry." Vivi seemed to be in good spirits. "Are you on holiday?"

"Yes," Harry nodded. "It's vacation time, and I was thinking of going to the beach. Do you have time? Want to come along?"

“I won’t be going, Harry.” Vivi rubbed her eyelids. “There’s been so much going on at the department lately. Even managing to squeeze in a visit to the Triwizard Tournament is a rare treat. I hope you guys have a good time.”

"Fine." Harry didn't know whether he should be disappointed or happy; his feelings were quite complicated.

After hanging up the phone, Papi made a peace sign.

"Yay!" she said with a smile. "It seems Vivi doesn't object to us going out. Um, where should we go? Harry? Think about it, where should we go?"

“Let’s go to the Isle of Wight,” Harry said. “It’s said to be the most beautiful island in Britain. Maybe we can go and have some fun together? To relax a bit…”

The Isle of Wight, also known as the Isle of Wight, is a famous tourist destination in the UK, hailed as the most beautiful island in England, and also a favorite island of the British Royal Family.

The Isle of Wight is very small, only half the size of London, and you can drive around it in just an hour. The island has a unique landscape, with steep cliffs and gentle beaches, beautiful scenery, and a pleasant climate, making it perfect for tourism.

“Come on, take me with you!” Hermione raised her hand, and when everyone looked at her, she chuckled, “You guys definitely need Muggles to do the planning, right? My dad has been to the Isle of Wight before, so having him guide us will definitely save us a lot of trouble.”

"Alright," Harry agreed with a smile. "So, what about Ron? Are you coming? Should you invite your family along?"

“Of course,” Ron replied with a smile. “Let me see… Aside from Charlie raising dragons in Romania, I think anyone else could go, like Bill…”

“Or we could invite Fleur.” Harry grinned lewdly. “Doesn’t she like Bill? We could take this opportunity… and bring her sister Gabriel along for a getaway, since they’re just killing time anyway.”

“Great idea.” Ron clapped his hands. “It’s settled then. I’ll tell my parents when I get home, and I’m sure they’ll agree.”

But Harry still faces a problem: Cassandra.

"And what about Casey?" Papby asked at the opportune moment.

“Kathy…” Harry took a deep breath, “Well… I’ll go ask her. I don’t think she’ll refuse us, what do you think?”

Papi shrugged.

"Hard to say."

With a mix of trepidation and excitement, Harry found Cassandra waiting for the house-elf at the entrance to the common room.

“Oh, isn’t this Harry?” Cassandra asked with a smile. “Why aren’t you looking for that fat guy? Why are you here looking for me?”

The fat one?

Harry tapped his head; he knew Cassandra was referring to Papiyas.

After all, among the people who could make Cassandra so sarcastic, Vivi certainly wasn't fat; she was at most a slightly stronger little guy. As for Papiyas… well, after all…

That stuff is mainly composed of fat.

“Listen, Casey.” Harry reached out and put his hand on Cassandra’s shoulder. “I’m thinking of going to the Isle of Wight during the holidays, maybe take a vacation. Would you like to come along? Or… I think we could invite Lucius and his family too, so we could all get together and relax. What do you think?”

"So it seems that woman Grindelwald rejected you, didn't she?" Cassandra said with a smile. "Looks like I'm just your backup plan, Harry..."

“I just planned to ask a few of you to come along…” Harry felt his head start throbbing again. “There are no backup options. You are all my wings.”

“Oh, greedy fellow,” Cassandra said with a laugh. “Well, since you’ve already extended the invitation, I’ll reluctantly accept… to the Isle of Wight, right? I’ll need to talk to Lucius and the other man about it.”

“Hmm.” Harry breathed a sigh of relief. “When you have news, go to number twelve Grimmauld Place to find me, or have Dobby come and give me a message.”

“I’ll call you.” Cassandra took out the crystal ball. “Remember? Oh, you must have forgotten, you gave me a crystal ball made by Mr. Lemaître…”

"You're coming to Number Twelve Grimmauld Place tonight!" Harry roared. "I'm going to show you who you can't mess with!"

Cassandra covered her lips with the back of her hand, but her beautiful eyes were looking at Harry with amusement.

“You said it yourself!” Cassandra said, turning and walking into the common room, leaving Harry standing there bewildered.

He had a naive guess that Cassandra was deliberately trying to provoke him in order to achieve this goal.

But he has no evidence.

After finalizing the arrangements, Harry returned to the entrance of the Great Hall.

Pappy, Ron, and Hermione were still standing there waiting for him. When Harry returned, Pappy jumped over and asked, "So? Did she say yes?"

“She agreed,” Harry nodded. “When you get back, ask Newt if he wants to go out and have some fun… Oh, and tell Theseus, and also tell them Vivi isn’t coming back.”

“Even if Vivi comes, they won’t refuse your invitation,” Papiya said with a smile. “What happened back then wasn’t Vivi’s fault, so you can rest assured.”

On their way back to King's Cross Station, the weather was completely different from when they came to Hogwarts last September.

The sky was cloudless, with only the sun hanging high in the sky, freely radiating its heat.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione spent a lot of time finally finding an empty cubicle and sitting down.

The piglet was hidden by Ron's tuxedo robes again because it kept squealing; Hedwig was dozing with her head tucked under her wings, while Jack the parrot was perched on Hermione's shoulder, eating a croissant with one foot in his hand.

The train carried them south, and a lively conversation began in their compartment.

A moment later, the Weasley twins and Draco arrived, followed by Seamus and Neville. They discussed animatedly what Dumbledore would do to stop Voldemort's resurgence until the lunch cart arrived, at which point they stopped talking.

"What would you like to eat?" Draco seemed pleased. "Never mind, have a little of everything, it's on me."

After saying that, he took out a few Galleons from his pocket and handed them to the woman selling food.

The table was covered with food; seven Galleons is a very powerful purchasing force.

They were covered in snacks, both on their bodies and legs. Parrot Jack had given up on the croissant and started attacking the crucible cake instead.

"Don't waste food, Jack!" Hermione sternly tried to stop Jack the parrot from wasting food, but... she couldn't stop him.

“Ron must have told you, right?” Harry looked up and asked the twins. “We’re going to the Isle of Wight together for the summer holidays… By the way, Seamus and Neville, are you two coming?”

“I’m not going,” Seamus said helplessly. “My dad signed me up for a few academic tutoring classes. I’m going to learn about Muggles—you know, my mom is a witch and my dad is a Muggle.”

“I can’t go there either,” Neville said with a hint of regret. “Grandma won’t let me go out and wander around; she trusts Dumbledore’s judgment.”

“And what about you?” Harry turned to Draco. “When you get back, ask your dad if he wants to come to the Isle of Wight with you.”

“Don’t worry, Harry,” Draco said, patting his chest. “My dad definitely won’t refuse your invitation.”

They chatted for a bit, then began their struggle with lunch.

"Who wants to play Pop-Up?" Fred asked, pulling out a deck of cards after dinner.

"Come on, come on, let's do it together," George said. "We're just killing time anyway, might as well find something to do... We're still a long way from the station, you don't think the train will arrive any second now, do you?"

His words were met with a response from everyone, and everyone in the box except Hermione joined in the crackling and exploding.

Playing cards can indeed make people forget about time, especially when everyone is having fun together.

Before we knew it, the train had arrived at King's Cross Station.

“Remember to write back,” Harry said to them as they stood at the front door. “We’ll meet at number twelve Grimmauld Place, okay?”

"Don't worry," everyone replied in a noisy murmur.

Cassandra had intended to go back to the Malfoys' house with Draco, but Harry grabbed her slender wrist.

"What?" Cassandra looked at Harry with a mocking expression.

“You’re not allowed to leave,” Harry said, feigning ferocity. “You offended me at noon today, and I’m going to get my revenge tonight—but don’t worry, I’ve already had Draco inform Lucius and the others.”

“Fine,” Cassandra said helplessly, “we’ll go back together, but could you please let go of my wrist first?”

Harry didn't say anything, but his hand moved down and gently touched Cassandra's slender and soft little hand.

"Is this okay?" Harry asked with a cute expression.

"I just can't do anything with you..." Cassandra sighed softly.

“Harry, Cassandra.”

The Godfather's voice rang out from not far away; he was standing beside a black Bentley, waiting for the two of them.

"Sirius." The two greeted him together. Harry, holding Cassandra's hand, walked to the Bentley and asked curiously, "Is this your new car, Sirius?"

"What do you think?" Sirius said happily. "The latest model this year. I have to admit, Muggles really do have their own aesthetic style when it comes to designing these kinds of things..."

As he spoke, he lowered his voice and said to Harry, "I also modified this car to make it more suitable for wizards... Of course, Arthur must never see this."

Harry knew that Arthur was referring to Ron's father, Arthur Weasley, who was the Director of the Department for the Prevention of the Misuse of Muggle Items and was in charge of regulating such misuse of Muggle items.

“I don’t think it’s a big deal?” Harry asked with a chuckle. “It’s just some modifications. You know Mr. Weasley has modified his car too… As long as the Muggles don’t see it, it’s not a big deal.”

“And those idiots at the Ministry of Magic.” Sirius Black took his hand out of his pocket, opened the car door, and said, “Get in, we’ll go back and have some dinner together tonight—”

After they got into the car, Sirius pressed the Muggle shield and invisibility buttons.

“Then,” he said, “take off!”

After saying that, the car shot up from the ground and soared into the sky.

“So,” Sirius put on his cool sunglasses, “you should be graduating this year, Cassandra? What are you planning to do after graduation?”

“Me?” Cassandra looked up and thought for a moment, then smiled slightly and said, “I plan to stay at Hogwarts and apply for the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.”

"Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?" Sirius turned around, pulled down his glasses, and asked exaggeratedly, "Merlin's motorcycle, huh? I wouldn't recommend you apply for that position. Don't you know? It's cursed by Voldemort; no one can hold it for more than a year..."

“You should always give it a try,” Cassandra said.

“Wait a minute…” Harry suddenly asked suspiciously, “A motorcycle? Does Merlin have a motorcycle?”

“Of course not, it’s just an exaggerated way of expressing surprise,” Sirius said nonchalantly. “If you take it seriously, you lose, Harry… James once talked about Merlin’s antlers. Do you think Merlin would have antlers?”

“It’s said he’s a natural Animagus, capable of transforming into any form,” Cassandra suddenly said. “If he transforms into a deer, he might actually grow antlers.”

"Okay." Sirius thought about it and realized it really made sense.

“Oh, right, Godfather,” Harry said again, “I’m planning to go on vacation to the Isle of Wight during the summer holidays. Would you like to come? I’ve invited the Weasleys, the Scamanders, the Grangers, and the Malfoys. Would you like to come along?”

"So lively?" Sirius was intrigued, deeply intrigued.

He's naturally a playful and mischievous person, so how could he be absent from this kind of event?

So he said, “No problem, let’s go together—the Isle of Wight is said to be the most beautiful island in Britain, but I’ve never been there. This time I must see for myself whether the Muggles are exaggerating or not, and see if the Isle of Wight is really as beautiful as they say.”
