Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 31 Order of the Phoenix

Chapter 31 Order of the Phoenix

Weekends at Hogwarts are holidays, just like schools in the Muggle world.

So Harry chose to set out in the dead of night, firstly to avoid his roommates, and secondly to have a good sleep the next day.

The Chamber of Secrets is located beneath Hogwarts Castle and is a secret room that is carefully protected by ancient magic.

If Harry and Veratia had not helped Richard Czechdower fulfill his wish before his death, this place might not have been discovered.

It was this unique place that became the place where the two of them exchanged their experiences in ancient magic - Professor Rookwood in the portrait always complained about this.

In the words of Professor Rookwood - a sour smell permeated this sacred secret room!
Harry felt a little awkward as he skillfully cast the Disillusionment Charm on himself.

When I looked down, I found that my body was invisible, but my feet were exposed.

Little black man, show off...

This damn age, he complained secretly in his heart. Being young means that the strength of magic is not enough to support certain spells.

Just like the magic of Apparition, the minimum age to obtain a license is seventeen, for this reason.

Harry didn't know when the rule was established, but a hundred years ago, one had to pass the Apparition test implemented by the Department of Magical Transportation before being able to use this magic.

Countless wizards have gotten into trouble because of their inexperienced Apparition, and always left some parts behind.

Those who are luckier will only have their eyebrows and hair left; those who are less lucky will only have their arms and legs left - some may even have their upper and lower bodies separated.

Fortunately, Harry used the Disillusionment Charm, so even if his magic power was not enough to support his full potential, he didn't have to worry about having his arms and legs cut off.

It's the late night now, so there's no need to worry about being discovered.

Then a strange scene happened. A pair of feet were clattering on the road. If a student who was out for a night walk suddenly saw it, he would be so scared that he would faint.

Harry is not a person with poor directions. He has been to the Chamber of Secrets countless times. Going back there is like going home.

Walking down the spiral staircase to the bottom of the castle, Harry looked up hopefully, but was surprised to find that what appeared before him was not the familiar gate, but a wall.

"Damn it!" Harry cursed under his breath, and he remembered that this place had been reinforced by the two of them using ancient magic.

Unless you are someone who can use ancient magic, you cannot see this door.

The awakening age of ancient magic is fifteen, which means that Harry has to wait until at least fifth grade to open the door and enter the map chamber.

Harry did ask Vilatia why she had to use ancient magic to reinforce the map chamber.

In order to avoid being discovered by people like Lanlock who coveted ancient magic, this is what Vilatia said to Harry at the time.

But Harry always felt that Veratia's real reason was not this, but he had no evidence.

He wandered around the door for a long time but couldn't find a way to break the code, so he had no choice but to give up.

In addition to the map secret room, there are two other places.

One is the crypt below the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, and the other is the Room of Requirement on the eighth floor.

Sebastian had told him about the crypt, and Omnis had been furious about it - but in the end he had approved of Harry.

The Room of Requirement was discovered by Veratia after she transferred to the school in the fifth grade. He really didn't want to go to the dungeon in the middle of the night, as it always reminded him of a prison.

But now that he thought of the crypt, Harry was also wondering if the place where they practiced magic together in the past could also be used?
Hmm... let's go to the Room of Requirement and take a look. As for the Crypt, I'll go there next time.

Having made his decision, Harry continued walking up to the eighth floor and stopped opposite the portrait of the troll beating Barnabas silly with a club.

"I want a secret meeting with the Order of the Phoenix," Harry thought to himself, pacing back and forth three times.

A magical thing happened. There was a slight sound on the wall, and a gorgeous door appeared in front of Harry.

"Success!" Harry was delighted, pushed open the door and walked into the Room of Requirement.

Since Harry was thinking of the conference room of that year, everything was just as he remembered. On the four walls were ornaments of the four colleges, from Gryffindor to Slytherin.

In the era when Phineas Black was the headmaster, the unity of the four houses was something that no one could imagine today.

House bias? There is no such thing. As long as you hate Principal Black, we have something in common!
Even the Slytherin classmates are the same.

The furnishings of this conference room remain the same, but things and people have changed.

The friends who left laughter and joy here at the beginning, I don’t know where they are now.

"Dicko?" Harry called the house-elf's name, but there was no response.

This house-elf was the butler assigned to him by Professor Weasley. When he lived in Hogwarts, it was Dicko who took care of his food and daily life.

Later, after Veratia transferred to another school, the number of people Dicko had to serve increased from one to two.

Not getting a response, Harry untied the ill-fitting Disillusionment Charm and sat in his seat, just as he had at the party a hundred years ago.

"I think our organization should have a name." Velatia wiped the beak of Phoenix Fiona with her fingers and said softly, "Harry, you are the bond between us. This name should be chosen by you."

Harry has always had trouble coming up with names, but when he saw the phoenix, he suddenly had an idea.

"Why not call it the Order of the Phoenix," said Harry. "We have a phoenix, after all."

"What a random name, Pot." Cassandra's grey eyes showed a hint of disgust. "The Order of the Phoenix? I'm going to throw up..."

"I think it's pretty good, right?" Sebastian put his arm around Omnis's shoulders and giggled as he expressed his approval of the name Harry had given.

Omenis lowered his head and hummed lightly to show that he did not object.

The snort was not directed at Harry, but at Sebastian, who had no sense of boundaries.

"Five to one." Pappy Sweeting of Hufflepuff raised her hand.

"Seven to one." Gareth and Amit Sakaha from Ravenclaw raised their hands together.

But Cassandra said slowly: "A vote? How childish! I didn't say I disagreed with stupid Pot's silly name - unanimous approval."

"Friends, I..." Harry looked up, only to find that the long table in front of him was empty.

"I really miss you guys," he said.
