Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 347 The school board has arrived, and Hogwarts is saved!
Luna still looked completely bewildered; it was hard to imagine how she managed to look at Harry with one eye while observing her classmates with the other.

When the students started practicing in groups, and Harry walked up to her, she asked in an ethereal voice, "Are you going to teach me the Iron Man Charm yourself, Harry?"

“What else?” Harry shrugged. “After all, everyone’s already in groups, I can’t let you practice alone, can I?”

Luna said "Oh," picked up her wand, and drew a circle in the air: "So what should we do now? Should we start by learning the spells, or the actions?"

“I think we should start with the basic theory,” Harry smiled and continued, “You must have studied what the Ironclad Charm is before coming to class, right?”

“Hmm.” Luna nodded. “The Ironclad Charm, the spell is ‘Protego,’ is a spell that can resist many kinds of spells. It can create a magical barrier to deflect spells and physical entities, thereby protecting specific people or specific areas—summoning spells are sometimes deflected directly back to the caster, and sometimes they dissipate or are deflected when they hit the magical barrier.”

"A very standard answer."

Harry glanced at Anne, only to find her distracted as she taught the Slytherin girl in front of her, her eyes constantly glancing in Harry's direction.

“Then,” he continued, “try to mobilize your magic and create a magical barrier in front of you.”

Luna did as she was told, but after several attempts, she still couldn't get it right.

“Don’t strive for perfect gestures; the essence of a spell is belief,” Harry said again. “Try a few more times—”

"Protego!"

A small, incomplete barrier appeared from the tip of Luna's wand, and only then did the little girl smile.

It's cute even though it's small.

“I think I’ve succeeded, Professor Potter,” she said softly.

“Keep trying, good job.” Harry clapped his hands in encouragement. “This is just the beginning. Keep practicing, keep trying until you can pull off a perfect spell.”

“Okay, Professor.” Luna smiled happily, constantly using her wand to simulate barriers of various shapes, being extremely mischievous.

Harry didn't say much, but walked to the side and began to watch the results of the practice sessions in pairs below.

It should be said that most of the students' teaching was not very successful—only Ginny's barrier was relatively outstanding; like Luna, she was able to support an incomplete barrier.

“Harry,” Anne called out, “how are you feeling?”

"What do you mean, how?" Harry didn't understand what Anne meant.

“Teaching, huh?” Annie winked with a smile. “I think applying to be a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts after you graduate would be a good option?”

“Then just kill me.” Harry rolled his eyes. “If just one school year is exhausting, I can’t imagine how exhausted I would be if I taught seven years of material…”

“The capable should do more,” Draco said from the side. His student was doing quite well; he could already support half of the barrier, though it looked a bit drafty.

Harry waved his hand without saying anything. He continued to observe everyone's practice and instruction, and occasionally answered the students' questions.

Children with talent like Luna are rare, but those who voluntarily come to the fifth-year Defense Against the Dark Arts class are all quite good. At least after one class, everyone has basically mastered the Ironclad Charm, but the degree of mastery varies.

When get out of class ended, Harry was very satisfied with everyone's progress.

This has far exceeded his expectations.

Long ago, he learned a lesson: not everyone has the same talent for magic as him.

So he didn't have high hopes at first, he just planned to fight a protracted war.

“To accommodate the new students,” Harry continued, “we haven’t covered anything else in this class. I hope you’ll review the Ironclad Charm when you get home. We’ll be learning some new spells in the next class.”

"Yay!" the Weasley twins shouted in unison.

"Can you tell us what the curse is?" Luna asked curiously.

“It’s a secret.” Harry held up one finger. “Of course, I’ll reveal the mystery in the next class, so… please look forward to the next class… get out of class dismissed!”

"Goodbye, Professor!" came the unanimous farewell from the classroom.

"Damn Umbridge, look what she's done to the students!" Harry muttered to himself before leaving the classroom with Anne.

They returned to the Great Hall together, and Annie kept asking Harry about the techniques for using various spells, which Harry patiently answered one by one.

The Saru siblings are both among the most talented in magic, as evidenced by Sebastian's ability to master the three Unforgivable Curses on his own.

What a ruthless person! Without a teacher, he learned the three unforgivable curses entirely on his own...

If he had been born a few decades later, wouldn't Voldemort have had to serve Sebastian tea and water?

Anne, clutching her textbooks, her eyes sparkling, kept praising Harry's vast knowledge.

Harry was actually quite pleased with Anne's performance. In essence, he was just a teenage wizard, only slightly more skilled in spells than others.

It's actually quite satisfying for a sweet girl like Annie to act like she idolizes him so much.

After all... if Vivi were to act like she idolizes him, he would definitely think it's fake; if it were Cassandra, he would suspect that Cassandra might have taken some kind of magic potion; as for Papiyas, she's not like that at all.

Thinking of Pappy, they had just sat down at the Gryffindor long bench when Pappy walked in from outside.

Upon entering the Great Hall, Papiyas immediately spotted Harry chatting with Anne.

They were very close; the two of them acted very intimately.

Pappy sniffed, walked to Harry's other side, and tapped the shoulder of the student to his left with her wand.

The Gryffindor student wisely made room for Pappy, who stepped over the bench and sat down.

“Harry.” She nudged Harry with her elbow.

Harry turned around and saw Pappy. He greeted her happily, "Oh, Pappy?"

"Looks like some people still remember me." Papiyas wrinkled his nose, sniffing Harry closely. "Just finished Defense Against the Dark Arts class? How was it? Your classmates' talents are giving you a headache, aren't they?"

“It’s alright,” Harry said, shrugging. “While we’re not as hardworking as our classmates back then, at least we know what we should be doing.”

Papi smacked his lips.

Were they not as diligent and hardworking as our classmates back then? That's for sure!

What was the environment like back then? You could encounter several magical creatures of level XXX or higher danger just by walking a short distance outside, or run into dark wizards, or poachers…

What now?
The magical world today is, if not turbulent, at least calmer than it used to be.

It's not surprising that the students didn't feel that sense of urgency.

“And what about you?” Papiyas asked. “Besides having me fight against that Umbridge, is there anything else you wanted to do with me this time?”

As she spoke, Papiyas brought her little face close to Harry's, so close that Harry could smell her fragrance.

“Of course I am.” Harry was no longer that naive, innocent blockhead; he was now terrifyingly strong. “Actually, the main reason is that I missed you…”

Papiyas's eyes softened instantly, and she threw herself at Harry, planting a deep kiss on his cheek.

If it weren't for the inappropriate occasion, she would have given him a passionate French kiss.

Anne, standing behind Harry, pretended to vomit and rolled her eyes, clearly displeased with Pappy's behavior.

“I’m so glad, Harry,” Pappy said, releasing Harry. “I’m so glad you thought of me—I’ll be staying at Hogwarts this year, don’t worry.”

After a quick dinner, Harry returned to the Gryffindor common room.

Pappy... she has a place to stay. She'll stay in Newt's tent. Anyway, Newt's tent has been enchanted with the Unseen Stretch Charm, so there are plenty of rooms inside.

Besides, even without Newt, Mr. Flamel's alchemy hut could easily accommodate Pappy.

Umbridge hasn't yet discovered that Mr. Flamel is in Hogwarts, since Mr. Flamel's alchemy hut is protected by the Faithful Charm, unless Mr. Flamel wants Umbridge to know.

But even if she found out, there was nothing she could do to Mr. Lemaître.

After all, Mr. Lemaître was a legendary alchemist, and even Fudge would have to treat the old man with utmost respect.

If something goes wrong, it could be a major diplomatic incident.

Back in the common room, he saw Ron and Hermione sitting at the table, Ron looking very upset.

He leaned closer to take a look and saw that Ron was writing a paper for Potions class.

Not far away, the students were making a fuss around the twins.

Fred and George seem to have finally perfected a quick way to skip class and are demonstrating it to the cheering crowd.

Fred first bit the orange end, then immediately vomited violently into the bucket in front of him. He then forced down the purple end, and the vomiting stopped immediately.

Every now and then, Lee Jordan would lazily clean up the vomit, using the Vanishing Charm that Draco used on Crabbe and Goyle during Potions class.

The common room was filled with the sounds of vomiting and cheers as people placed orders with Fred and George.

"This is so hard to concentrate!" Ron said, sounding a bit frustrated. "Hermione, won't you help me stop them?!"

As he spoke, Ron crossed out the amount of the sphinx-headed eagle-claw powder that he had written incorrectly for the fourth time.

“I can’t. They haven’t made any technical mistakes,” Hermione said through gritted teeth. “Eating dirty things is their right, and I can’t find a rule that says other fools can’t buy it unless it’s proven dangerous—which doesn’t seem to be the case…”

She, Harry, and Ron watched as George sprayed his vomit into the bucket, swallowed the rest of the sugar, straightened up, smiled, and opened his arms, earning a long cheer.

“I don’t know why Fred and George only got three OWLs certificates,” Harry said, watching Fred, George, and Lee collect coins from the eager crowd. “They did a good job…”

“Oh, all they know is some useless fancy stuff,” Hermione said dismissively.

"Useless?" Ron exclaimed. "Hermione, they've already taken twenty-six Galleons."

“I saw it.” Hermione pouted. “But that’s none of our business, Ron. We should be focusing on our own things, shouldn’t we?”

Ron sighed, took a bite of his licorice wand, and continued to struggle with his thesis.

The crowd around the Weasley brothers didn't disperse until late, and then Fred, Lee, and George sat there counting money again. Long after midnight, Ron and Hermione could finally enjoy the quiet of the common room.

Fred finally closed the door to the boys' dormitory, proudly shaking his money box, which made Hermione frown.

“This kind of behavior is really hard to judge,” Hermione said, pursing her lips. “They’ll corrupt the rest of Gryffindor.”

"Is it possible that they were just bad to begin with?" Ron asked, chewing on a twisted candy.

"Come on, you!" Hermione tapped Ron on the head with her wand. "Would you die if you didn't disagree with me?"

“If you keep hitting me, I’ll keep contradicting you,” Ron said seriously.

Hermione snorted and said nothing more.

The next morning's lesson was on spells, and the spell we practiced today was the Spell of Attraction.

Professor Flitwick no longer pays attention to Harry in class, since he knows that no matter what spell he teaches, Harry can always use it skillfully and proficiently.

Sometimes he wondered why a good kid like Harry wasn't a Ravenclaw.

it's a pity!
“I think,” Ron whispered, tilting his head, “that while the Summoning Charm is very useful, why can’t it be used on people?”

“Who says you can’t?” Harry looked at Ron with a puzzled expression. “I’ve told you about this before, haven’t I? Although the Summoning Charm can’t be used on people, it can be used on people’s clothes, which is actually the same as using it on people.”

“I think I vaguely remember,” Ron said uncertainly, “but I can’t remember when you said it.”

As he was pondering this, Hermione warned him sternly, "Watch out for your frog, it's about to run away."

“The frog is coming!” Ron said, pointing his wand at the frog.

The frog fell back into his hand in frustration.

"I saw Pappy back yesterday?" Hermione suddenly asked. "Is she back to uphold justice? After all, you see, Umbridge is practically..."

At this point, she lowered her voice: "She has already angered both heaven and man, and someone should definitely stand up and stop her."
