Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy
Chapter 428 Saving Private Sirius
Chapter 428 Saving Private Sirius
In the afternoon, Sirius took Miss Farley and Percy back to number twelve Grimmauld Place.
The reason for bringing Miss Farley is self-evident, and the reason for bringing Percy is not only because Percy is his secretary, but also because the Weasleys are currently spending Christmas at 12 Grimmauld Place.
Merry Christmas, Mom! Merry Christmas, Dad!
As soon as Percy entered the house, he wished his parents a happy holiday—but he was quickly hugged by his mother.
Percy, whom the older generation considered "the most promising," has always been his parents' pride—although he made a mistake a few years ago, he has since reformed.
As the saying goes, "To know one's mistakes and correct them is the greatest virtue," and that is the principle at play.
But even setting aside the views of the older generation, Percy is actually the most successful one now. After all, he served as the chief secretary to the Minister of Magic for two years, and now he has been promoted—Percy is now the director of the Division of International Relations and Cooperation, the same position Sirius Black once held.
Just think about it, a director in his early twenties has a very promising future.
Bill also stood up. As the eldest brother in the family, he gave Percy a wicked grin and opened his arms.
Percy stepped forward and hugged Bill as well.
“They all say you’re not like a Weasley, but I think you are a Weasley through and through,” Bill said, patting Percy on the back.
After Bill came Charlie.
He's not too busy with work lately, so he can go back to the UK with his family for Christmas this year—instead of being all alone raising dragons in Romania.
One or two years is fine, but it's actually not as happy as spending time with family.
Then it was the turn of the two twin brothers.
“Hey, isn’t this our Director?” the Weasley twins chuckled, their sarcastic tone sending a chill down the spine. “Look, he didn’t even have time for his brothers’ shop opening—what a big shot, isn’t he?”
"Hey, you two!" Percy clenched his fists.
“You’re not the big-headed boy from Hogwarts anymore,” George said, making a face at him. “Neither of us are Gryffindor students, so you can’t tell us what to do.”
“If you need it, Percy,” Sirius suddenly said, “I can transfer you to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. That way, you can look up the relevant laws and regulations to see if either of them has broken the law.”
"This is too cunning!" Fred and George protested in unison. "You're protecting each other!"
"Haha." Percy chuckled wickedly and hugged his two twin brothers.
Then, two notes appeared on his back.
The one on the left says "I am", and the one on the right says "Fool".
It's clear that even if he becomes Minister of Magic in the future, he still can't avoid being pranked by his two younger brothers.
Sirius pulled Miss Farley to sit on the sofa, next to Harry.
Cassandra stood up from Harry's side and sat down next to Miss Farley, and the two chatted happily.
"How are you feeling? Nervous?" Harry asked Sirius. "You're getting married soon."
"What do I have to be nervous about?" Sirius gave Harry a puzzled look. "Do you think I'm the kind of person who gets stage fright?"
“Oh, that’s not what I meant.” Harry grinned mischievously. “I meant those Muggle girl posters in your bedroom—”
Sirius froze instantly.
Yeah, holy crap!
How could I have forgotten about this?!
You should know that his room was covered with posters of Muggle girls, all kinds of scantily clad girls in bikinis, extremely sexy.
The biggest problem isn't the posters themselves, since they can be stuck on and then peeled off. The problem is that Sirius Black used a permanent sticking spell to attach them, in order to show his rebellion against his family.
This is a really big problem.
“Look,” Harry said to his godfather with a smug look, “now this is the problem you need to solve the most. I don’t want my future godmother to see these scantily clad posters the first thing she sees when she walks into the room.”
Sirius is panicking now, he's really panicking.
This is incredibly awkward.
Actually, he didn't really like these Muggle girls. He posted them just to show his rebellious spirit.
But women are clearly not rational beings.
“You have to help me, Harry,” Sirius said resolutely. “Gemma can’t see this. If she does, she might… laugh at me.”
Yes, as a true Slytherin girl, Miss Farley might not be jealous of a few Muggle girls—but she could certainly use this to her advantage and keep Sirius in check for the rest of her life.
"Didn't you try Curse Stop?" Harry asked.
“That’s a permanent adhesive spell!” Sirius whispered. “Instant stop spells won’t work—”
“Or we could just tear that wall down,” Harry suggested, offering yet another far-fetched suggestion.
Sirius suddenly looked at Harry with the eyes of someone looking at an idiot.
You're demolishing your own load-bearing wall, aren't you?
“I’ll go ask the twins.” Harry stood up, suppressing a laugh, and walked over to Fred and George.
“You two,” Harry glanced up at Miss Farley, who was still chatting and laughing with Cassandra, and continued in a low voice, “I need your help—”
"Oh, help?" Fred and George exchanged a glance, then said cheerfully, "Tell me, what help? We'll definitely help you if we can, Harry, trust us—"
“Alright, to make a long story short,” Harry cleared his throat and said to Fred and George, “as you know, Sirius is getting married to Miss Farley—”
“Yes, we know, we have a pretty good memory,” Fred said.
“That’s not the point.” Harry, seeing that Fred was about to habitually steer the conversation away, quietly corrected him: “Look, Miss Farley is now at Number Twelve Grimmauld Place, but here’s the problem—have you been to Sirius’s room?”
"Never been there," they both said in unison.
“Let’s go together now,” Harry suggested.
Without saying another word, he led the two of them toward Sirius's room.
"Sirius's room is covered with posters of Muggle girls," Harry said somewhat awkwardly on the way. "And back then, to show his rebellion against his family, he even used a permanent-sticking charm on those posters, so they can't be removed now."
“Think about it,” Harry said again, “what would Miss Farley think if she saw these things? What would she think?” The twins grinned at Harry.
"Aha!" Fred and George high-fived. "Looks like we've got something on the Minister of Magic, haven't we?"
“I think we can take advantage of this opportunity to get the minister to give our business the green light…” George whispered to Fred.
"No, wait a minute." Harry's face darkened. "That's not the point. The point is we need to get these things down here quickly—"
They stood at the door of Sirius's room, Harry opened the door, and the two followed him inside.
The first thing I noticed was the incredibly erotic posters pasted behind the bed.
“Cool.” Fred whistled. “Looks like our minister had great taste when he was young…”
He glanced at the figures of the women in the poster and remarked with admiration, "They look very healthy..."
She's definitely healthy, her figure is amazing, you can't even see her toes when Da Lei looks at her.
“So,” Harry said, “we need to figure out a good way to get rid of these things that have been permanently glued on—”
"How about Curse Stop?" George quickly got into the zone, stepped forward, drew his wand, aimed it at the posters, and tapped them with a spell.
The poster did not elicit any response.
"Looks like that won't work. What about the Curse of Annihilation?" Fred asked. "I remember Harry seemed to know that spell?"
Harry nodded, walked up, and pointed his wand at one of the posters.
"Finite (All Curses End)!"
However, it still didn't work. He reached out and tried to peel off the poster, only to find that he couldn't peel it off at all.
“This is awkward,” Fred said, rubbing his chin. “I don’t think these things… can be removed with magic at all. How about we try smashing this wall down?”
“No, this is a load-bearing wall,” Harry said quickly. “If we remove this wall, the whole house will be in trouble.”
“Well, there’s not much else to do then,” Fred shook his head helplessly. “Or you could try our latest product—a fast-acting color remover, which can quickly remove the color from things…”
"Did you bring it?" George asked.
“I brought it.” Fred pulled a wallet made of dragon skin from his pocket and took out a small bottle from it.
Clearly, this dragon-skin wallet also contains the Seamless Stretch Charm.
It seems their business is really profitable; they're even using dragon skin wallets...
Fred took the small bottle, squeezed out a little liquid, and spread it evenly on the poster.
“It really works!” Fred perked up and pointed to the fading posters, saying, “Look, this poster is fading, the design is disappearing… Come on, George, let’s coat all the posters with this liquid. It’s definitely a viable solution.”
Harry wasn't idle either; he stepped forward to lend a hand and together they removed the images from the posters.
The effect was remarkable; the colors faded. But here's the problem: fading the colors doesn't mean the pattern disappears completely; you can still see the outlines of the women.
“I’m out of ideas,” Fred said, spreading his hands. “I’m really out of ideas, brother—”
Just then, Ron and Hermione's voices rang out from outside; the two were clearly having a pleasant conversation in the hallway.
Of course, Draco's voice and Neville's voice are also included.
Harry quickly went out and called the four of them in.
As the saying goes, three cobblers are equal to one Zhuge Liang, Harry believed that if these people brainstormed together, they would eventually find a solution.
“How about…” Hermione suggested, “we could try the Cutting Charm. I think it might be able to cut off a little bit of the wall plaster, but we could get these posters down. What do you think?”
“No.” Draco pondered for a moment, then said, “That would seem rather abrupt, wouldn’t it? What would my uncle be supposed to say if Miss Farley asked?”
In terms of seniority, Sirius is indeed Draco's uncle, since he is Draco's mother Narcissa's brother.
“I think…” Ron suddenly said, “You’re all overcomplicating things. Why don’t we just put up some more posters? Wouldn’t that cover them up? If we’re worried about them not being sturdy enough, we can use a permanent adhesive spell on them.”
After he finished speaking, the entire room fell into an eerie silence.
Ron swallowed hard. He thought about it for a moment and realized he hadn't said anything wrong.
"What's wrong with you?" he asked cautiously.
“You’re a genius, Ron!” Hermione exclaimed, hugging Ron tightly. “My goodness, how come we didn’t think of such a brilliant idea? You’re so clever, Ron!”
"As the saying goes, even the wisest person can make a mistake, and even the most foolish person can have a stroke of genius. That's the point," Draco said sourly from the side.
But he quickly regretted it and desperately wanted to take back what he said.
Making sarcastic remarks about Ron had become a subconscious habit for him, but now he really didn't want to offend Ron anymore.
The reason... is very simple.
However, Ron was clearly overwhelmed by Hermione's hug and didn't pay any attention to Draco's words; his mind was filled with "Hermione hugged me."
Look at this silly child...

“Alright, our next task is to find some harmless, wholesome posters.” Fred interrupted the two who were embracing, coughing as he said, “Ron, go and see if there are any Quidditch or similar posters left? I remember you really like to put those up in your house, you have quite a few above your bed, right?”
“I’m going right now!” Ron said quickly. “I just bought a lot of posters, we can use them here—consider it my wedding gift to Sirius, what do you think?”
Everyone laughed when they heard Ron's words.
“Hurry up,” Harry said. “If we don’t go soon, Miss Farley will find out—”
However, at that moment, several voices sounded again outside the door—Miss Farley's and Cassandra's; they had already reached the door.
"Damn it!" Harry's face darkened. "I'll go outside and find an excuse to get them out of here. You guys get moving!"
