Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 43 Is Hogwarts the Death Eaters’ Lair?

Chapter 43 Is Hogwarts the Death Eaters’ Lair?
Before Harry could react, he noticed Hermione sneaking towards the staff seats.

What is she going to do?
Harry forgot to continue spelling the broom to stop for a moment, and the broom shook violently, almost throwing him off.

"Wow--" There were bursts of exclamations from the stands.

"What on earth is Hermione going to do?" Ron was holding a telescope, but he couldn't see Hermione, so he asked Hagrid anxiously.

"I don't know either," Hagrid answered unconsciously, clasping his hands together and concentrating on praying for Harry.

Harry, who was in the sky, saw Hermione squeeze into Hermione's stand, and before Hermione could do anything, he felt the force that made the broom swing back and forth disappear.

What's going on? He wondered as he watched Hermione set Snape's robes on fire.

"You're on fire!" someone around Snape shouted. Snape, who had been concentrating on staring at Harry's broom and chanting a spell, finally came to his senses and quickly stood up to put out the fire on his robe.

Looking at his appearance, I really felt sorry for that robe.

Harry was a little confused. What was going on?

But Harry didn't have time to think carefully. Just as he was lost in thought, a streak of golden light suddenly passed before his eyes.

It's the Golden Snitch!
In a flash, Harry swung his broom and gently sank down. With his quick eyes and hands, he reached forward and caught the thief.

He raised his hand high, and a golden snitch hummed in his hand.

"Harry Potter caught the Golden Snitch! Gryffindor plus 150 points!" Lee Jordan shouted excitedly: "Gryffindor wins 170 points to 60!"

Madam Hooch also rode over on her broom and blew the whistle to end the game.

"Gryffindor wins!"

Harry landed lightly on the ground, and his extremely excited teammates came down one after another, surrounded him and cheered loudly.

"Potter! Potter! Potter!"

The Weasley twins, in particular, were like copy and paste; not only were their movements identical, but even their slogans were exactly the same.

"Professor McGonagall!" Harry held the Golden Snitch high up and shouted to Professor McGonagall who was outside the crowd, "I caught the Golden Snitch!"

However, Professor McGonagall came up and asked worriedly, "Potter, what happened to you just now? Is there something wrong with the broom?"

"It's okay, Professor." Harry chose to lie, "I didn't catch the broom just now. I was too nervous, my hands were sweating, and they were a little slippery-"

"So that's how it is." Professor McGonagall smiled, folded her hands like a girl, and said excitedly, "Great, great, we won!"

"We won!" Wood raised his fist high and shouted, "We finally beat Slytherin!"

God knows, Gryffindor has never beaten Slytherin in Quidditch since he entered school...

After celebrating for a while on the field, Harry politely declined the invitation to return to the Gryffindor common room with his teammates, and was instead pulled into Hagrid's hut by Hermione and Ron.

"It was Snape who did it!" Hermione said firmly, "Ron and I saw it clearly. He was casting a spell on your broomstick, muttering to himself, and staring at you."

"Nonsense!" Hagrid retorted. He had just focused on Harry and had not noticed Snape's actions at all. "How is this possible?"

"I just went to the stands and cast a flaming spell on Snape's robes, and then Harry's broom stopped shaking." Hermione said, "This fully proves that it was Snape who cast the spell." "Impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Hagrid retorted with a twisted thick eyebrow, "Professor Snape is a professor at Hogwarts, he has no reason to do this. Since you suspect him, then tell me, why would he do this?"

Yeah, why?

Hermione opened her mouth, not knowing what to say. Instead, Ron argued, "You know, Snape is the head of Slytherin. He doesn't want Gryffindor to have more points than Slytherin in the house, so he did this..."

"That's impossible!" said Hagrid irritably. "If it was someone else who was cursed, then what you said might be possible - but Harry, it's impossible!"

"Why?" Ron asked in amazement.

"Don't ask, I won't tell you anything." Hagrid quickly shut up. He didn't want to gossip about the grievances of the previous generation.

What's more, he had promised Dumbledore and Snape to keep these things secret.

"But, Hermione." Seeing that Hermione wanted to ask more questions, Harry spoke to divert Hermione's attention.

He also wanted to know Hagrid's reason, but since Hagrid was unwilling to tell him, he didn't want to force him.

"What's wrong Harry?" Hermione asked over her shoulder.

"I noticed it when you climbed up to the staff stand just now," Harry whispered. "My broom stopped shaking before you cast the spell on Snape - he was still staring at me and casting the spell, but the broom didn't shake at all."

"Bloody hell, how did you see that?" Ron asked in astonishment, "Dude, you're wearing glasses."

"That's a necessary skill for a Seeker, isn't it?" Harry gave an impeccable reason.

Hermione stood up and paced back and forth in Hagrid's hut, one hand on her elbow, the other hand supporting her chin, frowning as if she was talking to herself: "If that's the case, who else could it be? Harry, are you sure?"

"I think Professor Snape may not like me, but he is definitely not the one who wants to kill me." Harry said firmly.

Then he changed the subject and raised another question.

"What puzzles me is that Headmaster Dumbledore was in the stands, why didn't he stop my broom from being cursed?"

"Or let's ask it another way. Why did that person dare to curse my broom in front of Headmaster Dumbledore?"

Ron suddenly had an idea and raised a finger.

"Eh? Could it be that that person was instructed by Dumbledore?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he was elbowed by Hermione.

"Ronald! What are you thinking? Is Hogwarts the lair of Death Eaters?" She was as angry as an angry lioness.

Ron stuck out his tongue, scratched his head and said, "Of course I know that's not the case. I'm just trying to liven up the atmosphere."

But obviously, the scene was even colder.

"Of course I don't doubt Headmaster Dumbledore," Harry said firmly, tapping his fingers unconsciously on the table again, "but I just question why he is indifferent."
