Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 5 I thought it was Harry Potter

Chapter 5 I Thought It Was Harry Potter
Even a century later, the Leaky Cauldron was still as dingy and small as Harry remembered.

When I pushed the door open, I was greeted by a strong smell of alcohol mixed with the smell of second-hand smoke.

Everyone here seemed to know Hagrid, and upon seeing the huge figure, several guests sitting at the bar raised their glasses and loudly welcomed Hagrid's arrival.

"Same old style, Hagrid?" asked Tom, the landlord, from behind the bar.

"Oh, no, Tom. I have something important to do." Hagrid refused, patted Harry's thin shoulder, and said in a loud voice: "I still have to take Harry to Diagon Alley."

When they heard Harry's name, the noisy chatter in the bar died down instantly, and everyone looked at Hagrid with bated breath - to be precise, at the short Harry next to him.

"Oh my God, is it really you?" The cup that Tom was wiping in his hand fell to the ground with a thud.

He hurriedly walked up from behind the bar, trotted towards Harry, grabbed his hand and burst into tears.

"Harry Potter, it's a pleasure - welcome, welcome back!"

Harry was a little surprised and a little at a loss.

Could it be that people a hundred years later still remember his deeds of wiping out the Fire Ash Snake Gang and suppressing the goblin rebellion?
Since they can recognize it, does it mean that—

He didn't know what to say. Everyone was looking at him and vying to shake his hand.

"It's an honor, Mr. Potter, it's an honor."

"I've been looking forward to shaking your hand - my heart is pounding."

After letting the wizards and Harry express their admiration, Hagrid pulled Harry aside and said, "Excuse me, everyone. I still need to take Harry to Diagon Alley to buy something."

As he said this, he rescued Harry from the crowd.

"See, I told you you were famous," Hagrid said with a smile.

Harry smiled at Hagrid and asked calmly, "Why are they - doing this?"

"Why is this happening?" Hagrid patted Harry on the back exaggeratedly. "You defeated the most terrible dark wizard of this century. You deserve this kind of respect!"

I see……

Harry nodded in understanding and breathed a sigh of relief.

I just hope he isn't recognized as the Harry Potter from a hundred years ago.

Time is a forbidden thing. Being able to travel through time and return to one's youth is enough to drive people crazy.

What's more, "that Harry" was one of the descendants of ancient magic, which was not a secret in the magic world a hundred years ago.

Dark wizards who covet ancient magic can openly attack students on their way to transfer to school. Harry doesn't think that dark wizards of this era are good people.

After returning to the age of eleven, the strength of his magic power also regressed to the level of an eleven-year-old. If it was an ordinary dark wizard, it would be fine, but if there was another thing like Lanlock, he would not be able to deal with it now.

So...it's better not to make this secret public.

Harry decided secretly in his mind.

Hagrid was still introducing it to him: "Count three blocks up - and two blocks across - all right, stand back, Harry..."

He looked down at Harry who seemed to be in a daze, thinking that the other party was still troubled by what had just happened, so he smiled and said to Harry, "Harry, did you hear that?" "Oh." Harry came to his senses and found that he had come to the wall of the Leaky Cauldron. He reached out and took Hagrid's umbrella, counted briefly, and then knocked lightly on the wall three times with the umbrella head.

The brick he knocked on shook and began to move. A small hole appeared in the middle, and the hole grew larger and larger.

Not long after, an archway wide enough for Hagrid to pass appeared in front of them, leading to a winding cobbled street with no end in sight.

"You have a very good memory, Harry," said Hagrid happily. "Welcome to Diagon Alley."

Harry returned the umbrella to Hagrid, and then asked hesitantly: "Um - Hagrid, I don't have any money..."

"Ha, you don't need to worry about that. You don't think your parents didn't leave you any inheritance, do you?" Hagrid explained to him, "Come on, since you are worried about this problem, let's go to Gringotts to get the money now."

Gringotts still looked the same, without any changes. The bank's door faced Diagon Alley, and a white stone staircase led to two shiny bronze doors.

Next to the gate stood a goblin in a scarlet and gold uniform. This was the entrance to Gringotts, and when Harry and Hagrid entered the gate, the goblin bowed to them.

After entering the first door, there is an inner hall, and further inside is the second silver door. Harry noticed that the following words were engraved on these two silver doors:
"Come in, stranger, but beware,

What will be the consequences of being greedy?
Asking blindly and getting something for nothing,

will be punished the most severely,
So if you want to take it from our underground vault
A wealth that never belonged to you,

Thief, you have been warned,
Be careful not to attract treasure, but evil retribution. "

"Like I said, anyone who would rob this bank would be crazy," said Hagrid.

The two walked to the counter in the lobby of Gringotts, and Hagrid found a place that could receive them among the busy goblins.

"Morning," Hagrid said to the idle goblin. "We need to take some money from Mr. Harry Potter's vault..."

Before he finished speaking, a sharp explosion was heard from the goblin.

"Who?! Who are you saying?!"

The fairies around stopped what they were doing and looked at the fairy who made the sharp explosion.

Hagrid was used to seeing the goblin in this state.

After all, as the savior who defeated the dark devil, it is normal for him to be famous among the goblins.

But he didn't know that the "savior" next to him had "saved" the wizarding world more than once.

"Harry Potter," Hagrid repeated.

"Harry Potter?! I know it's Harry Potter! Which Harry Potter!" the goblin asked loudly, still in a shrill voice.

At the same time, there was a buzzing sound in the lobby of Gringotts, and the goblins began to whisper to each other, seemingly discussing something eagerly.

"Which other Potter?" Hagrid said impatiently, "Of course it's the Harry Potter who defeated the Dark Lord. He's going to school this year. I'm bringing him to the Potter family's safe to get some money."

The goblin breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Hagrid's words.

"It's Harry Potter. I thought it was Harry Potter." The goblin said, and put on his businesslike face again: "So, do you have the key to the vault?"
