Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 52: Wizard Duel!

Chapter 52: Wizard Duel! (Seeking investment and follow-up reading)

Wizards duel?

Hearing Gemma Farley's words, the students watching were suddenly in an uproar.

The fifth-grade students openly challenged the first-year students to a duel in public.

Is this a distortion of human nature or a loss of morality?

Harry raised his head and met Gemma's ocean blue eyes.

"Miss Farley, you want to challenge me to a wizard duel?"

"Yes, Mr. Potter." Gemma looked serious, but did not draw her wand: "You choose the time and place. No assistants are needed. We will duel one on one."

As the head of Slytherin, even though she knew it was unreasonable, she still had to stand up.

Otherwise, if morale is low, how can we lead the team?
"Why?" asked Harry.

It's not that he had any sympathy for women. There were many beautiful women among the dark wizards a hundred years ago, and Harry showed no mercy when he threw barrels of explosives at their pretty faces.

He just wanted to ask a question.

"You can defeat seven sixth-year students and prove that you are more than just a first-year student." Gemma said, "If you win, I promise that no Slytherin student will bother you; if you lose, then apologize to Slytherin House."

"No, I don't mind the trouble." Harry said nonchalantly, "If I win, I hope Parkinson and Flint can apologize to Hermione - as for the trouble I cause, I don't think the Slytherins can be any trouble."

Harry really hated Flint.

Of course, there was discrimination against Muggles in Hogwarts a hundred years ago.

He knew the term Mudblood from a man named Derek Flint.

The man also deliberately knocked over Harry's food plate while he was eating. Gareth stood up for him and was severely beaten back by him.

However, Derek Flint never bothered him again after that. Gareth said that it seemed that Derek Marcus became so honest because his father was severely warned by the school board.

Although Gareth repeatedly stated that his aunt Professor Weasley was not a member of the Board of Directors, and even the headmaster could not interfere with any decision made by the Board of Directors, Harry still felt that it was the result of negotiations between the Vice-Headmaster and the Board of Directors.

Why didn't the school board take care of Cassandra Malfoy? When he was in his first year, he still thought to himself that Malfoy would mock him for being lazy, arrogant, and not studying when he had nothing to do, and even wanted to take him in as a follower. She was really annoying.

Jemma frowned slightly. She didn't really want to have a conflict with Harry. She challenged Harry to a wizard duel only because he spoke rudely to Slytherin.

It would be fine if she was an ordinary Slytherin student, but she is a prefect.

Status brings not only glory but also obligations.

"Get out your wand, Miss Farley," said Harry.

He drew out his wand and motioned for his friends to step back to avoid being affected by the spell.

"Harry..." Ron was a little worried. He had heard Percy mention Sister Farley's name more than once, saying that she was the best student in Slytherin.

What convinced Percy was not only Sister Farley's outstanding academic performance, but also her "not-so-Slytherin" personality.

"Don't worry, Ron." Harry smiled at Ron, "Take good care of Neville. He must be feeling uncomfortable after getting hit on the back of his head. I'm here."

Ron wanted to say something else, but Hermione grabbed his sleeve and pulled him aside.

"I'll be the referee!" Draco appeared out of nowhere and looked at Harry with ill intent.

The students who were watching also moved aside. Gemma stood in the middle and asked uncertainly, "Mr. Potter, don't you need to take a break?" "Thank you, but no." Harry bowed gracefully to Gemma, "Ms. Farley, do you need me to teach you the basic etiquette of dueling?"

Gemma held her wand across her chest and bowed to Harry as well, performing an impeccable duelling salute.

"Three!" Draco raised his hand high.

"two!"

"one!"

"Expelliarmus!"

Almost at the same time, the two of them cast disarming spells on each other.

With a crisp bang, a ball of orange-red flame exploded between the two of them. That was where their spells collided.

Gemma flicked her wrist slightly, and the statue behind her seemed to come alive, walking towards Harry menacingly.

Seeing Gemma use Transfiguration, Harry also waved his wand, moving the two sets of armor at the door, and stabbed the statue with a spear.

At some point, a vine had quietly come to Harry's feet.

Harry easily burned the vines with flames, then used his armor to block the evil curse fired by Gemma, and then knocked her unconscious.

It was the first time for the students to see such an exciting wizard duel, especially the first-year students. They held their breath, stared with wide eyes at the two people dueling in the middle of the field, and even forgot to breathe.

Seeing the spell coming, Gemma dodged to the side, but she didn't expect a red spell to fly towards her.

It was Harry who predicted the direction she would dodge and fired a Defeat You attack in advance.

"Protego!" Gemma waved her wand to block the disarming spell.

But in addition to this disarming spell, there was another spell following it.

The energy of the armor that was used to resist the disarming spell was no longer enough, and it was too late to add another layer of armor. Gemma could only watch the spell coming towards her.

"Incarcerous!"

The spell hit Gemma's body, and a rope suddenly appeared, binding her tightly, and she fell to the ground in the snow with a thud.

The Hogwarts school uniform is loose and comfortable. When tied with ropes, the beautiful figure that was originally hidden under the magic robe is fully revealed.

Without the support of its master's magic, Gemma's statue collapsed to the ground.

Two men in armor holding spears crossed on both sides of Gemma's neck, one on the left and one on the right, as if they would make her neck bleed as long as she dared to resist.

"You lose, Miss Farley," said Harry gracefully.

He thought he was a gentleman because he treated women as if they were his all-out opponents to be beaten.

"I give up." Gemma admitted defeat very straightforwardly.

Harry waved his hand, and the two suits of armor returned to their original positions, and the ropes on Gemma disappeared.

Someone in the crowd sighed, as if expressing regret that the rope had disappeared.

"Then it's time to make good on your promise, Miss Farley." Harry held out his hand.
