Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 78 Mars is dazzling tonight

Chapter 78 Mars is dazzling tonight
Hagrid looked down at Harry as if he had heard some unbelievable fairy tale.

"Finding poachers? Oh, Harry, this is not what a first year like you should be doing."

His big hairy head was shaking as he spoke, and his beard was trembling.

Harry noticed that there were some scorch marks under his beard.

"Just a suggestion, Hagrid," said Harry, and then asked with concern, "Hagrid, what's happened to your beard?"

"Oh, it's nothing." Hagrid waved his hand with a smile, his face became kind: "It was Norbert who burned it, it's nothing."

"Norbert? Who's Norbert?" Harry became interested.

Did Hagrid keep some magical creatures in the hut?

"Norber is my Norwegian ridgeback..."

Hagrid covered his mouth with his hand halfway through his words.

Having known Hagrid for so long, Harry kind of understands Hagrid's personality.

This big friend seems to have been born with truth serum and can't keep any secrets.

It can breathe fire, and it's Norwegian. Harry immediately thought of a dragon.

"Norway? Is it a Norwegian Spinosaurus?" He looked at Hagrid.

Hagrid nodded impatiently, looking into Harry's green eyes, and didn't hide them anymore. "Yes, it's a Norwegian Spinosaurus. It thinks I'm its mother. It's very cute and clingy."

Cute? Clingy?
Harry tried to associate the two words with a dragon, but alas, he failed.

"You bought it?" he asked with interest. "You know, a dragon egg costs a lot of money. I remember you said that your dream is to raise a dragon?"

"No, I didn't buy it," said Hagrid, wiping his nose. "I won it last month, when I was drinking and playing cards with a stranger in Hogsmeade - who, to be honest, was probably dying to get rid of it."

"A dragon egg like this should be able to sell for a lot of money in Knockturn Alley. Why would he be so eager to get rid of it?" Harry looked at Hagrid. He always felt that something was wrong.

If it was just this one thing it would be fine, but it was too much of a coincidence, just like how he got the three-headed dog Fluffy, which made people feel very strange.

"Maybe he..." Hagrid said this and suddenly felt something was wrong.

He looked down at Harry. "Wait, Harry, how do you know about Knockturn Alley?"

"I heard it from someone else." Harry chose to evade the question. "I think you should be careful, Hagrid. It's very likely that this person has some ulterior motive."

"Who knows." Hagrid spread his hands, and the huge crossbow almost poked Fang at his feet.

This thing is called a bow, but it is actually a crossbow.

"Come on, Hagrid," Harry said to Hagrid, who did not look frightened at all, but rather quite happy.

As for the Forbidden Forest, I used to come here often, with Pappy Sweeting, or with Cassandra, or with Veratria. Returning to the Forbidden Forest is like returning home.

Hagrid glanced at the back of Harry's head and a question mark slowly emerged in his mind.

Are the first-graders of today so mentally strong? They can remain calm in the face of such a dark forest, and even look forward to it?

"We're not here to play, Harry!"

Hagrid tried to make the atmosphere more serious. Relaxing like Harry just now would not be beneficial for the journey to the Forbidden Forest. Instead, it would be dangerous because of laxity.

"You are in solitary confinement now!" he reiterated.

"Okay, Hagrid." Harry smiled at Hagrid. The Forbidden Forest was very quiet at night, except for the rustling sound of the wind blowing into the woods and the sound of gurgling water.

Apparently there is a stream nearby.

If memory serves me correctly, that stream is home to a creature called a "mud monster" whose tongue can be used to prepare potions.

It was a bit boring to walk like this, so Harry thought he should talk about something.

"Hagrid, are there many magical creatures in the Forbidden Forest? I mean, your cottage is right on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, so you must come into contact with them often, right?"

"Oh, to be honest, I'm good friends with them all." Hagrid said with a smile, "The magical creatures in the Forbidden Forest are all very cute. If it weren't for the inappropriate time today, I would definitely take you to meet my old friend, Aragog."

"Aragog?" Harry thought the name was a bit confusing. It sounded like it should be related to some arachnid thing?
"Yes, it's a little cutie I adopted when I was in school." Hagrid looked a little nostalgic, "He..."

Before he could finish, Hagrid suddenly became alert.

He dragged Harry and quickly retreated behind a tree.

Of course Harry also realized that something was approaching quickly, and he took out the wand belonging to Dawimar, but considering that Hagrid was around, he put the wand back and took out his own wand.

Hagrid pulled a huge feathered arrow from the quiver on his shoulder, placed it on the crossbow and drew it fully, then raised it towards the direction of the sound.

"Who's there!" he shouted, "Come out! Don't hide, I've got you!"

Fang was also running left and right under Hagrid's feet, staring at the direction where the sound came from, barking loudly.

The bushes shook again, and just as Hagrid was about to lose his patience, a voice came from within.

"It's me, Hagrid, Ronan."

Hagrid relaxed a little, but still did not lower his weapon.

After a while, a man came out from the bushes... a horse?

He is a red-haired centaur. His upper body is human and his lower body is horse - the color of the horse's body is the same as his hair, both are brown-red.

A ponytail was swinging behind her, and she looked a little unhappy.

"Oh, it really is you, Ronan." Hagrid finally relaxed, dropped his weapon, and walked up to shake hands with the centaur.

The centaur didn't look very happy. He said sadly, "It's not a good night, Hagrid. It looks like you want to shoot me with your bow and arrow."

"We must be on our guard, Ronan," said Hagrid, patting his quiver. "There's a bad fellow on the prowl in these woods... Oh, yes, it's Harry Potter."

He finally remembered Harry and began to introduce Ronan and Harry to each other: "Harry, this is Ronan. As you can see, he is a centaur."

Harry didn't think it was anything strange; he had seen centaurs before.

When Vivi and I came to the Forbidden Forest to protect the small animals, some ignorant centaurs mistook them for poachers.

The result was obvious. Although Vivi was always gentle when she was with him, she obviously lacked a certain patience when facing the centaurs.

"Good evening." Ronan was still as melancholy as ever, and his greeting to Harry was a little perfunctory.

He raised his head and looked into the night sky with an extremely solemn expression.

"Mars tonight... is blindingly bright," he said.
