Chapter 82 She

"Come on, let's go back."

Hagrid put on his crossbow and said to Harry, "It's getting late, and you still have class tomorrow - if I remember correctly, it should be Professor Snape's Potions class tomorrow morning. You don't want to be late for Potions class, do you?"

Even Hagrid had heard of Professor Snape's great reputation in the school.

"All right," said Harry, and followed Hagrid out of the Forbidden Forest.

After a while, they met a centaur.

Harry noticed that the centaur was very handsome, with hair the same color as Draco, both platinum, and a silver horse body. He looked like the prince charming in countless girls' dreams.

"Hagrid," the centaur came up to them and asked anxiously, "What about the unicorn - the unicorn? The dark wizard?"

"Don't worry, Firenze," Hagrid patted Harry's shoulder. "Miss Pappy is fine. Harry rescued her, and the dark wizard was driven away...but Miss Pappy still has wounds on her body."

"That's good..." Firenze breathed out, he looked at Harry and gave him a friendly smile.

"Harry? Really? Thank you, thank you for saving Miss Pappy."

"It's what I should do." Harry didn't say much.

“Are you the Potter boy?” Firenze asked again, his sapphire eyes sparkling.

Before Harry could answer, Bane's voice was heard.

"What did you tell him?" Bane ran over and said angrily, "Remember, Firenze, we swore an oath not to go against the will of heaven! Didn't we see the signs shown by the movement of the planets?"

"I'm sure Firenze thinks he's doing this with the best of intentions," Ronan said in a sad voice, paddling the ground nervously with his hoof.

Bain looked at Ronan angrily. "With good intentions? What does that have to do with us? The centaurs are concerned with the predictions of the stars! There is no need for us to run around like donkeys following a human who got lost in our forest!"

"Miss Pabbie is injured! She is so kind! That black wizard... that black wizard actually dared to attack her! Tell me, Bane!" Firenze said here, and suddenly stood up on his two hind legs, "Who do you think saved you when you were surrounded by the eight-eyed giant spiders when you were a child!"

"The secret of the planet? That's the secret you're talking about!" Firenze was so angry that his hair was flying. "I must resist that guy! I can't let him hurt Miss Pabbie again! Bane! Centaurs are not an ungrateful race! If necessary, I will stand on the side of humans!"

With that, Firenze no longer looked at Bane and Ronan, and turned to motion for Hagrid and Harry to go together.

"Why is Bane so angry?" Harry asked puzzled.

Firenze did not answer, but sighed and asked Harry: "Harry, can you tell me what you encountered?"

Harry omitted the part about Cruciatus and the chat with Pappy and only talked about the first half.

"Harry..." Firenze suddenly stopped.

Hagrid and Harry didn't know what he was going to do, so they stopped too.

"Do you know what unicorn blood can be used for?" he asked.

"I don't know." Harry answered honestly.

"This is because harming or killing a unicorn is an extremely cruel thing." Firenze said seriously, "Only those who have nothing but want everything will commit such a heinous crime... The blood of a unicorn can prolong your life, even if you are already dying, but you must pay a heavy price for it! In order to save your own life, you slaughtered a pure, weak and helpless life, so from the moment its blood touches your lips, you will have a half-dead life, a cursed life."

Harry thought for a moment and said to Firenze, "If I have to be cursed for the rest of my life, I think I might as well just die."

"Correct," Firenze agreed, "unless you're just using it to prolong your life so you can drink something else - something that completely restores your strength and spells - something that makes you immortal. Mr. Potter, do you know what is hidden in the school at this moment?" Harry thought of the shadow's target almost instantly.

"The Philosopher's Stone!" he said loudly, "Could it be that... the person who wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone was..."

He felt like he was close to the answer, his heart pounding in his chest.

Some say that man is dead, died at the hands of the one-year-old—

But he couldn't believe that such a powerful dark wizard would die so easily?
But now, Firenze's words made his breathing quicken.

Now it seems that there is only one truth!
Revenge tastes... sweet, doesn't it?

"It seems that you should know that there is a person who has been waiting silently for so many years, eager to make a comeback; there is a person who holds on to life tightly, waiting for the opportunity."

Firenze was very pleased with Harry's quick understanding.

This kid... maybe he should learn divination, he thought.

"Impossible!" Hagrid said on the side, "The Philosopher's Stone can't be stolen so easily. It is protected by Professor Dumbledore. As long as he is in school, the You-Know-Who will never succeed!"

Firenze did not answer, but just looked at Hagrid with an indescribable look.

"The stars told me my prophecy." Firenze lowered his head and whispered to Harry, "Trust the centaurs' astrology. We rarely make mistakes."

"But you're wrong this time!" muttered Hagrid, seeming unhappy that Firenze had offended Dumbledore.

Soon, the edge of the Forbidden Forest appeared before them.

"Then let's say goodbye here," Firenze said to the two.

Hagrid waved to Firenze: "Goodbye. Anyway, thank you for the reminder - I think I should go and remind Professor Dumbledore."

"Come on, Harry, let's go back together." Hagrid looked up at the night sky and said to Harry, "It's going to rain. Let's go back to the castle."

Just as Harry and Hagrid entered the castle, spring thunder rumbled.

The white unicorn shuttled through the dense forest, like an elf in the forest, with light and agile steps.

The rain fell softly, passing through the dark night, along the gaps between the branches in the forest, and hitting her body.

She came to the stream, lay down gently under the evergreen pine tree, trying to find a shade.

The rustling of cool wind mixed with rain swept through the woods, and the occasional cries of animals made the atmosphere of the dense forest even more desolate.

A faint white light flashed on the unicorn's body, and soon a beautiful girl in Hufflepuff robes and short hair appeared in the spot.

But her body is transparent.

Pappy sat on the ground weakly with his back against the pine tree, covering his face with his hands and sobbing softly.

Silvery white ghost tears flowed through the gaps between the fingertips and fell onto the black land.
