Chapter 30 Pulling
S.W.O.R.D. is an extremely special force in the Marvel universe.

Its name literally means - Intellectual World Observation and Response Bureau. In the comics, the base of this part is Conqueror Kang's spaceship in space. Because its shape resembles a sword, the abbreviation is also called Sky Sword Bureau.

Unlike S.H.I.E.L.D., S.W.O.R.D. is a department that specializes in dealing with outer space. Its purpose is to resolve interstellar disputes and protect the Earth from space. The department is composed of both Earthlings and aliens and is very powerful.

But here, S.W.O.R.D. is not that grand. It is just another secret organization established by the U.S. government after disbanding S.H.I.E.L.D.

This new version of S.W.O.R.D., whose full name is 'Intelligent Weapons Observation and Response Center', is currently led by Maria Rambeau, the black female pilot in Captain Marvel.

Ever since the Captain Marvel incident, after Maria Rambeau learned of the existence of aliens, she has always hoped that there would be an organization in the world capable of dealing with alien invasions.

At first, she joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and secretly monitored and handled confidential events with Nick Fury, including Asgard and several alien beings coming to Earth.

But SHIELD was disbanded due to the trouble with Hydra, and Maria Rambeau was forced to return to her military post.

It now seems that the US government should have reactivated this plan and established a secret department similar to the previous SHIELD. However, no one knows who is the mastermind behind this organization.

"Tianjian Bureau, is this the official name? If not, I suggest you change it. It's too monotonous." Su Ze smiled while crossing his arms.

"Kid, I don't know who you are, but you have no right to speak here." The man who called himself Taylor Hayward had a unfriendly look on his face.

"Really? So you're planning to violate the Sokovia Accords? You know, this is a major agreement signed by more than a hundred countries. Oh, that's right, this is not the first time you've done this. You're double-standard, I understand."

After being retorted by Su Ze, Hayward's face became even worse. He turned his head to look at Okoye, but the other party had no intention of speaking and was obviously watching a show.

Turning his attention back to the man in front of him, Hayward spoke.

"You are right, but Tony Stark is dead. According to the agreement, Vision's body will automatically belong to the internal management of the Avengers, which means that our S.W.O.R.D. is in charge."

"How come I don't know that S.W.O.R.D. is now an insider of the Avengers? And you said Tony Stark is dead. Please give me reasonable evidence, otherwise I will sue you for framing your boss." Su Ze did not back down at all.

At this time, he had already remembered who the guy in front of him was. This Tyler Hayward was none other than the acting director of S.W.O.R.D. in the American TV series "WandaVision".

This guy not only took Vision's body from Wakanda, but also dissected it for research, and used Vision's remains to create a new "White Vision" specifically for special secret operations of S.W.O.R.D.

But this guy is not the acting director now, he is just a person in charge. Su Ze will not be afraid of him.

"Stark is not my boss."

Hayward said this almost with gritted teeth, then he glared at Su Ze fiercely, turned around, took out a report from the staff behind him, and placed it in front of Su Ze.

"What is this?" Su Ze took the document.

"The containment documents of the Disaster Control Bureau. As a company working exclusively for the government, they are responsible for repairing and handling property damage caused by the actions of the Avengers. They also have the right to contain the 'remains' left on the battlefield."

Hayward raised his hand and tapped on the document before continuing.

"The main investor and shareholder of this company is Tony Stark. Now they have given us the right to reclaim Vision's body. This should not violate the Sokovia Accords."

Hearing this, Su Ze frowned. Why is there something about the Disaster Control Bureau here?
No wonder Ms. Kalina said that this matter was difficult to handle, and Captain America and Rhodes kept silent about it. It turned out that the matter was more complicated than they had imagined.

The Disaster Control Bureau is called a "bureau", but it is actually a company.

This organization was funded and established by Tony Stark during the Battle of New York. Their main responsibility is to send special personnel to repair and rebuild street facilities after the Avengers fight with the enemies.

In addition to Tony Stark, the government is also an investor. Since the company signs contracts with local governments, it enjoys great power in the collection and distribution of materials and property.

However, we can't think too highly of this organization just because Tony Stark funded its establishment.

A company is established to make profits.

It is not surprising that people would do anything for profit, and there are some such radical elements in the Disaster Control Bureau.

Spider-Man's villain Vulture went bankrupt because his business was taken away by the Disaster Control Bureau, and he was finally forced to take the risk and embark on a path of crime.

In the comics, the Stanford Disaster, the fuse of the Civil War of Heroes, also had the shadow of the Disaster Control Bureau behind it. This was a clue discovered by Wolverine, and the reason those people did this was just to get the reconstruction contract for the area.

In today's world, the Disaster Control Bureau can be said to be lawless.

After a long period of secret development, they have now become a huge company based in the United States, backed by Stark and the government. This allows them not only to intervene in various departments, but also to use Stark's technology.

Some people say that the establishment of the Disaster Control Agency is the result of Tony Stark's compromise with the government, while others say that this is just a large-scale game of capital.

But in any case, it must be admitted that the current Disaster Control Bureau is clearly beyond Tony Stark's control.

The fact that they produced a document handing over the handling of Vision to S.W.O.R.D. is enough to prove that there must be some unknown deals behind the two organizations.

I just don’t know what Tony Stark, who is far away in space, would think when he heard the news.

Seeing that Su Ze didn't speak for a long time, Hayward smiled coldly.

"Is there anything else you want to say?"

"Have."

Su Ze raised his head, then took out his cell phone and a business card.

"I want to make a phone call for consultation. Can I have five minutes?"

"I don't care who you want to call, but this matter is not something that anyone can interfere with, and this is a matter between the U.S. government and Wakanda. I advise you to do it."

Hayward pointed at Suze and was about to say something, but when he saw the name on the business card, his face froze and he couldn't help but clench his fists.
