The wizard era begins with the alchemist wizard

Chapter 26: Diverting the trouble to the east (Seeking follow-up reading)

"what!"

Richard drew out his sword, and his breathing began to change rhythm. Behind him, Ellie also took out a wand from her luggage, and the flash of magic was looming.

"Don't do it, it's me! Locke!"

The bloody figure wiped his cheek, revealing a simple and honest fat face.

"Lorcan? Didn't you team up with someone? How did you end up like this?"

After saying that, Richard winked at Ellie secretly, and the latter moved to Richard's luggage and took the fireball staff in her hand.

Something is not right with Loken, it seems like something is chasing him.

A few more noises were heard in the dense forest, and the sounds seemed to be the sounds of magic missiles.

Locke's face changed, and the boots on his feet suddenly flashed a light.

"It's a long story, we'll talk about it later."

Then the fat man ran into the woods in a flash, and finally shouted at Richard:
"Now that we have the stuff, let's split up and run!"

Now no matter how dumb Richard was, he knew he was being fooled.

"Friend, I have nothing to do with that person!"

Richard shouted into the forest, and his heart began to pump out waves of heat. His magic power was rapidly consumed, and was replaced by scales growing on his body. In just one or two breaths, his body was covered with black scales.

Several human voices were heard in the forest, but the language was not wizard language, but then Richard heard a voice.

hum!
A buzzing sound reached Richard's ears, and he swung his sword without thinking, and the blade hit a blue stream of light. Behind the stream of light, several magic missiles tore through the force field barrier of the wizard robe and hit Richard's body. If it was before the blood alchemy, these missiles would be enough to kill Richard, but now, Richard just groaned, turned around and shouted at Ellie.

"Do it!"

Ellie waved the staff, and the magic power entered the staff head through the body of the staff, turning into a deadly spell in an instant.

The orange-red fireball smashed into the dense forest like a meteor, bursting into flames that shot up into the sky.

boom!
The surging air waves carried soil and rocks towards Richard, but under the protection of the black scales, the aftermath had little effect on him.

"Are you all dead?" Ellie asked in a trembling voice.

This was the first time Ellie saw the secondary fireball technique. The red flames and the thunderous sound all looked like the legendary divine punishment.

The gods punished sinners by sending down thunder and fire.

Flames began to ignite in the forest, the inevitable cost of using Fireball.

Richard stared into the fire with his eyes fixed. He had a feeling that someone was still alive.

Woo!
A figure stood up from the fire, and with him came a strong wind, a strong wind summoned by magic.

The wind fanned the flames, and the originally small fire quickly expanded under the strong wind.

Richard took a step forward and instantly rushed into the fire.

The hot air rushed through his lungs, like flowing coals burning Richard's trachea.

But Richard didn't care at all. All he had eyes for was the figure that brought the strong wind.

Finally, Richard rushed to the figure, but he only saw a person whose body was burnt black and whose gender could not be identified. The strong hatred made the person stand up from the fire and release the last spell.

"I'll send that bastard down to keep you company."

Richard slashed off his head with his sword.

The strong wind summoned by the spell stopped instantly, but the wildfire had become uncontrollable.

"Lorcan..." Richard gritted his teeth.

All of this was caused by Locke's diversion of blame before he left.

Back at the camp, Ellie was now covering her mouth and nose, trying to rush out of the fire.

"Hold me tight." Richard held Ellie in his arms and said in a deep voice.

"Ah."

Richard picked up Ellie and rushed into the fire. Relying on his amazing physique and the protection of his scales, Richard actually made a way out of the fire.

"Master Wizard, come here!"

As soon as he got out of the fire, Richard saw Old John waving at him from afar.

The old guide didn't seem to give up on his customers.

When Richard came to Old John, he saw a small river.

"Master Wizard, let's hide in this river and the fire will be put out soon." Old John called out.

"Extinguished? How to put out this fire?"

Richard looked at the expanding fire and thought that in his previous life, he would have to dig firebreaks and send out helicopters to solve the problem. "Haha, it seems that the wizard doesn't know the rules of the Black Rock Mountains." Old John looked at the expanding fire and jumped into the water with a splash.

"We have a guardian god in the Black Rock Mountains."

It happened in a flash. Just as Old John finished speaking, Richard heard a roar that echoed throughout the forest.

A huge figure flew out from the depths of the Black Rock Mountains. It had three snake-like heads, broad bat wings on its back, and its entire body was covered with scales.

"That's... a giant dragon!" Richard said in a trembling voice.

The monster flew to the fire scene, opened its three bloody mouths and sucked fiercely. In an instant, the flames in the entire fire scene turned into three torrents that continuously flowed into the monster's mouth.

"It...what is it doing?"

Old John stroked his beard and said, "What else can we do? Put out the fire. According to you wizards, the patron saint is absorbing the fire element from the fire scene now."

"Fire element?" Richard murmured with a dazed look in his eyes.

In the wizard's worldview, the most primitive state of matter is not atoms, electrons, quarks or the like, but instead the four elements of earth, wind, water and fire.

All matter is made up of four elements.

In the wizard's worldview, flame is the embodiment of the fire element, and burning is the release of the fire element in matter.

The flames of the fire took the giant beast more than ten minutes to kill. After the flames were all gone, the giant beast flapped its wings and returned to the depths of the mountains.

"Alright, Master Wizard. Let's go back. Hopefully, the things I baked might still be edible."

Old John walked out of the water and wrung the water out of his clothes.

"Old John, will you track her?" Richard put Ellie down, with flames of hatred burning in his eyes.

"Track? Of course Old John can do it." Old John said with some complacency, "I'm not bragging, no one in this forest can disappear under Old John's nose."

"That's good." Richard nodded and turned to look at Ellie. Although Richard had protected most of Ellie's body when he came out, some minor burns were inevitable.

"How does it feel?"

Ellie rubbed her head and said, "I'm a little thirsty. Do you want to kill the fat guy?"

"Yeah." Richard nodded, "You want to stop me?"

"How is that possible?" Ellie rolled her eyes at him. "I'm not crazy. This fat guy has caused us so much trouble. It would be a bargain for him if we kill him with a knife later."

"That's good."

Richard secretly breathed a sigh of relief. If Ellie became madame-like, he might lose a friend in the future.

A trace of hatred flashed across Ellie's face. The fire seemed to have evoked dark memories of her entrance examination.

"Take me with you when you kill him later. I just learned a curse spell, so I'll just practice on that fat guy."

"Curse spell?" Richard was surprised.

"Don't get me wrong! I'm not going to curse anyone!" Ellie explained hurriedly, "You don't come out very often, so you don't know that there have been several curse murders among the freshmen recently."

"I learned it to protect myself if someone curses me."

Richard said nothing, and Ellie became more and more anxious.

"Please believe me! I really did it to protect myself!"

"Well, I know you don't want to kill anyone." Richard nodded, and then looked at Ellie with a surprised look.

"Ellie, you know, curse spells are not learned by people, but chosen by spells. If you don't have what the curse school calls "spirituality", you won't be able to use the spell even if you get the model."

"Ah?" Ellie said in panic, "Then my magic stones would have been wasted!"

That was fifteen magic stones, her entire savings.

"I read it in a book, too." Richard said thoughtfully.

The Curse School has always been the most mysterious and the least populated of the five schools. Their spells may seem absurd, but they can kill people without anyone noticing. Legend has it that the truth wizard of the Curse School once cursed a world to death with a spell.

"The talent of a curse wizard is very rare. I hope you don't waste the magic stone in vain, Ellie." Richard smiled and then called Old John.

"Old John, let's go. I'm going to kill that fat guy today!"

……

The edge of a valley not far from the fire.

"Looking at the noise, those people should be dead." Loken looked at the Guardian God flying back to the depths of the mountains and murmured, "Those two guys are pretty powerful. They can make such a big noise that even the Guardian God has to be dispatched."

But then he smiled triumphantly, rubbed his hands, and took out a notebook with a little dirt on the cover from his arms.

"But no matter how powerful he is, he still became my scapegoat.

It's a senior apprentice's notebook, written in wizard language. It would be a crime if I didn't steal such a good thing."
