The world is in trouble

Chapter 63: Remarks on the release of the book, you should be happy 1

Chapter 63: My thoughts on the release of the chapter. You should be happier!
It will be on the shelves at midnight tomorrow, December 12st.

I have been in this industry for 20 years.

I don’t know how many times this has been put on the shelves, and I don’t know how many times I have expressed my gratitude for it.

After being married so many times, you might have become numb to it.

But after putting it on the shelves so many times, I am still so nervous, even more nervous, this damn sense of immersion.

In my career, I have written fantasy, history, science fiction, urban...

Well, that's nothing to be proud of.

But this time, it is really a big transformation.

If I say that it was for breakthrough innovation, that would probably be a bit false.

The most important reason is to make progress. (Thank you, Biscuit Master and Night Snack Master, for your affirmation and encouragement. Thank you for your help, really.)
I have said before in the Reading class that you should not try too hard when writing, otherwise you will become narrower and narrower.

Readers are tired, and authors are tired too.

I'm actually talking about myself. I'm the one who is most likely to go overboard.

So every time I start a new book, there are not many readers left over from the previous book. It’s very tiring every time I start a new book. It’s like climbing a mountain over and over again from the foot of the mountain. It’s really hard and sad.

Not many readers stayed with my previous book because I tired them out.

So I decided to do subtraction.

Emotions, reduce the intensity.

Add characters, details, and emotions.

The previous book chose a historical theme, which was to constrain itself with the theme. Compared with fantasy, it is more realistic and has less room for creativity.

The result is not bad. This is the first book of mine that has received much more orders in the first 24 hours after it was completed than when it was first published. (Of course, this is also related to the fight against piracy.)
But...some parts of the previous book were still too intense.

So, this time I chose the city, a more realistic subject, to constrain myself.

Force yourself to improve, to write characters, to write details.

Rebirth literature is meant to take readers to dream, and if it is real and detailed enough, it will be easier to fall asleep.

So for this book, I spent much more time and energy writing each chapter, trying to use my own emotions to capture the emotions of the characters in the book, and then spread them among the characters.

The writing speed is much slower than before.

For a while, the results of this book were improving very quickly, and I became a little unbalanced. I wanted to progress even faster and higher.

Then, I accidentally brought out the rhythm of my previous fantasy and historical writing.

When I was writing this book, I had already decided to use 70% emotion and 30% technique.

But when I got anxious, I couldn't help but use more techniques.

Now I tell myself again that this book is for progress and to expand a wider writing space.

My life is good in all aspects now, so there is no need to be so anxious. Try to be more relaxed.

Okay, okay.

I tell myself again at this moment, be calm.

Write with 70% emotion and 30% technique.

The rest is left to the market and to you readers.

Sometimes, I am particularly envious of those talented authors.

I am a hard-working author who writes and thinks hard.

Every day there is a period of time when I feel active and another period of time when I feel depressed.

Once you become frustrated, your writing sensitivity will decrease, and you will involuntarily write intensely and force the pace.

So I told myself to try to be happier.

You have a good life, be happy.

I think deeply, even excessively, every day.

I’m struggling with myself every day, trying to find the best balance in writing.

I really envy those talented authors.

I tell myself again now.

You should be happier!
Everybody should be happier.

I will continue to work hard and write with 70% emotion and 30% technique.

If I go too far again, please be tolerant and I will notice and correct it.

Then I'll keep trying.

I hope to bring about a new destiny between us.

thank you all!
