Chapter 125: Vajra Transformation, Martial Arts Supreme in the World

Chapter 125: Vajra Transformation, Martial Arts Master of the World (-word chapter)
Although Xu Xing had noticed from afar the valley that stretched for miles deep in the mountains, he still couldn't help feeling shocked when he actually walked in.

Even in the Wen world full of wonders of heaven and earth, Xu Xing had never seen such a magnificent landscape. What's more, this was opened up by extremely powerful human power?
Driven by this shock, Xu Xing did not even choose to approach the shadow wall that contained the true meaning of "the power of Vajra" at the first moment.

He stopped at the entrance of the valley, and walked slowly forward while reaching out his hand to touch the mirror-like mountain wall on the left side of the valley.

Whether using spiritual will to sense or touching it personally, Xu Xing did not feel any bumps or cracks on the stone wall. It was incredibly smooth and flat, with a strange orderly beauty.

Obviously, this was not a natural creation of heaven and earth. Li Ruohai's judgment was correct. This was indeed the place where the demon sect Meng Chixing fought against the third-generation Vajra successor Yuan Toudao.

Meng Chixing practiced the "Book of Tibetan Wisdom" and was an expert at controlling matter with the spirit. It seems that this valley stretching for miles was also his creation.

Xu Xing closed his eyes, and his spirit spread across heaven and earth, capturing the divine will remaining on both sides of the mountain walls, trying to deduce the full picture of the battle that year.

After challenging many historical imprints condensed from pure spirit in the "Nine Sky Boundaries", Xu Xing is now extremely sensitive to the martial arts will of the strong, and can use this as a basis to achieve a simple "tracing".

What's more, Meng Chixing's boxing skills were more condensed and stronger than anyone he had ever seen in his life. Even after decades, they were still clearly visible in Xu Xing's eyes.

As his mind became deeper and deeper, some blurry images gradually appeared in Xu Xing's eyes, as if he had really traveled through the long river of time and stepped into the battlefield of that battle that day.

The first thing he heard was a loud noise like a heartbeat. The noise continued and the entire mountain was shaking like an earthquake.

In the dense forest, a high wall made of soil and rocks suddenly rose from the ground and continued to grow backwards. Wherever it passed, the mountain peaks were split in two. It stretched for several miles before finally stopping.

In the smoke and dust, a tall, white-skinned giant who was as steady as a majestic mountain withdrew his hand, with a look of regret in his eyes.

In front of him, there was an old man with a skinny body and knee-length hair and beard. He sat cross-legged with his legs crossed, five feet off the ground, like a suspended Buddha statue.

The two men looked at each other, the old monk closed his eyes and sighed, his body and clothes disintegrated like sand, and immediately disintegrated into nothingness, floating between heaven and earth.

Xu Xing finally understood how this valley was formed.

Although this Vajra successor had cultivated his own unique "true form", when facing Meng Chixing's fist, he was still pushed back by the unparalleled pure strength.

However, because his "empty realm" did not collapse, Meng Chixing was able to advance all the way. As he continued to move forward, he also moved the soil and rocks around Yuan Tou Tuo and broke through the thick mountain wall.

However, if we say “penetrate” it might sound a bit too much of an exaggeration. If Xu Xing were to describe it himself, he would think it was a simple “separation”.

Then, Yuan Toudao's stakes became deeper and deeper, the furrows he plowed became deeper, and more soil was accumulated.

In the end, it was piled up into a wall as high as a mountain, but was forcibly smashed into a crystal jade wall by Meng Chixing's martial arts will and powerful fist strength.

The power of one person can be so strong!

When Xu Xing thought about the fact that Venerable Si Mi called the young man in white "Prince Xue Chan", he had a vague understanding in his heart.

In the original novel, Master Chong, a disciple of Yuan Tou Tuo, is the son of King Liang of Yuan Meng.

After the fall of the Yuan Dynasty, although he became a monk and a descendant of Vajra, he was still determined to restore his country and caused quite a stir in the world.

However, in today's world, although the Yuan Dynasty was destroyed by natural disasters, it still preserved many masters, dominating the frontier and possessing Meng Chixing and Ba Siba, the two top masters of the time.

With such a backer, Prince Xue Chan would naturally not experience the destruction of his family as in the original novel.

What's more, Yuan Tou Tuo also died at the hands of Meng Chixing, so Xue Chan lost the opportunity to become Master Chong.

But even so, he still found this place in the end. Is this the so-called historical inertia, or is it the destiny as those lamas said?

Thinking of these two words and recalling the inexplicable respect that Venerable Si Mi had for himself, Xu Xing raised his eyebrows, then looked at this man-made wonder and just smiled slightly.

No matter what the reason was, he believed that sooner or later he would discover the truth.

Xu Xing turned his head, only to see Li Ruohai, who was like him, with both hands pressed on the mountain wall, eyes closed, feeling the martial arts will left by Meng Chixing, his face full of intoxication.

After a while, she also moved her face closer. Her originally flawless and delicate facial features were immediately squeezed and distorted, and she even grinned a little. Coupled with her intoxicated expression, it made people feel extremely funny.

After a while, she even leaned forward, her whole body spread out like a gecko clinging to the wall.

Xu Xing laughed out loud on the spot.

Hearing his laughter, the girl turned her head and looked over here dazedly, with shock still in her eyes, obviously still immersed in her previous realization.

Even so, Li Ruohai still keenly caught a hint of malicious intent from Xu Xing's seemingly innocent and young face.

But when she came to her senses, narrowed her eyes, and looked Xu Xing up and down with suspicion, she didn't notice anything.

——With Xu Xingren’s immortal-level body control, he would naturally not let her see any clues.

After all, Li Ruohai was not someone who liked to dwell on things. Since she couldn't find out the whole story, the girl simply ignored it. She propped her hands on the stone wall, raised her face, stretched her body, and said with a heartfelt sigh:
"Even though there are only a few remnants, they are still so terrifying and formidable. The Demon Sect's Meng Chixing is indeed worthy of being called a wandering immortal."

Xu Xing nodded, his expression normal, and looked at the wall with a mirror:
"The power of the Vajra is indeed the best in the world."

Li Ruohai nodded in agreement.

"If it weren't for this, Patriarch Jiuru wouldn't have been able to suppress the two great Buddhist holy places, Cihang Jingzhai and Jingnian Zen Sect, with his own strength and become the number one figure in Buddhism at that time."

Although Xu Xing understood through the experiences of Qiao Feng, Duan Yu and others in the previous world that in this integrated world, those characters he was familiar with would also have different fates.

But when Li Ruohai mentioned Jiuru's experience, he couldn't help but be curious and asked:

"Jiuru has dealt with them before?"

Li Ruohai nodded and naturally told a story that was widely circulated in the martial arts world:
"In the past, Patriarch Jiuru received the true teachings of Zen Buddhism. He pointed at the sky and drew the earth, and roared in all directions. He was a famous crazy monk. He made the two major Buddhist holy places in the Central Plains, Jingnian Zen Sect and Cihang Jingzhai, unhappy, and they wanted to expel him from the monkhood.

When Patriarch Jiuru learned about this, he went to the Jingnian Zen Sect in Luoyang in person to discuss Buddhism and martial arts with the Zen master of that generation and the master of Cihang Jingzhai.

Even the "Wu Nian Zen" of the Jingnian Zen sect, which was feared by the martial arts world, and the "Cihang Sword Canon" of the master of the Zen sect, which was famous all over the world, could not shake the Vajra Dharmakaya of Patriarch Jiuru, let alone resist his dragon-elephant power.

Patriarch Jiuru fought one against two and had the upper hand. He also cursed Buddha and ancestors, and destroyed the five hundred Arhats and bronze statues of the Three Buddhas that were scattered throughout the Pure Nian Zen Sect. In the end, he left behind the verse "The sky is eternal, the wind and moon are fleeting", and walked away with a long laugh.

After this battle, the entire Jingnian Zen sect lost face, and then was affected by the natural disaster, so they simply moved from Luoyang and re-established their sect in Qinghai. "

After hearing this story, Xu Xing was also a little surprised.

Although in the original book, the Jingnian Zen Sect did move, I never thought that it would have such a connection in this world.

However, after a moment of hesitation, Xu Xing felt that Jiuru's actions were really pleasing, and he couldn't help but clap his hands and laugh:
"Swallowing the heaven and earth, he is free to do whatever he wants. What a great monk Jiuru is."

After saying that, he shook his head again, feeling a little regretful.

When Xu Xing was reading novels in his previous life, he was quite indignant at the group of hypocritical evil nuns in Cihang Jingzhai. After knowing that he had come to this world of Zongwu, which was supposed to be mixed with the Huang worldview, he was also prepared to teach them a lesson.

However, he never expected that this achievement had allowed Jiuru to take the lead.

It's a pity, it's really a pity.

But it doesn’t matter. With the old monk as an example, wouldn’t it be better if I learn the “great Vajra power” and go to pay homage to the mountain under the name of the Vajra successor?
Just as Xu Xing was thinking about it, Li Ruohai's expression looked a little strange.

Judging from the fact that this little brother just showed that he knew Li Chimei very well, he is definitely not the kind of master who would hide away from the world.

But why didn't he even know about this widely circulated case in the martial arts world?
Although Xu Xing noticed Li Ruohai's emotional ups and downs, he didn't say anything, because he understood that although this girl seemed cold and arrogant, she was actually very emotional, but just quite restrained.

Now where she is going, no one can figure out.

Xu Xing just raised his head and looked at the thick and wide screen wall, his eyes full of excitement.

On that day, he fought with Tian Jue in Shaolin Temple. After the old monk broke free from the constraints of the Six Paths of Reincarnation Formation, he used his profound martial arts skills to create a wonder similar to "Dharma's Shadow", which made all the monks in Shaolin Temple admire him.

The reason why Tianjue was able to carry out reforms and rectify the atmosphere in Shaolin Temple so smoothly in the future was largely due to the miraculous performance of Bodhidharma.

But now, Yuan Tou Tuo's projection has nothing to do with any substantial energy such as internal force and true qi. It is just a pure spirit.

In essence, it is just like the historical projection that Xu Xing once saw in "Nine Sky Boundaries".

However, the historical imprint can last forever thanks to the characteristics of the unique realm of "Nine Sky Boundaries".

The reason why Yuan Toudao's photos are still so clear after decades is due to his extremely profound Zen practice.

Secondly, it is because of this unique crystal jade disk.

It seems that Meng Chixing did not want the "Great Vajra Power" to be lost in the world, so he used his spiritual power to create the jade disk to carry Yuan Tou Tuo's final divine will.

The demeanor and mind of this demon sect leader are indeed extraordinary.

Xu Xing looked at the jade disk again, slapped the back of his head, and his soul with brilliant golden light floated out from the fontanelle. He closed his eyes and sat cross-legged, imitating the old monk in the disk.

Although Li Ruohai and Xu Xing have not been together for a long time, they have developed a considerable degree of tacit understanding after fighting side by side twice.

Seeing that Xu Xing's soul had left his body and began to comprehend the mystery of the "Vajra Power", she also came to his body, stuck the gun into the ground, and looked at the wonders left by Meng Chixing again.

Although Li Ruohai is young, she has a plan for her martial arts path. This can be seen from the fact that she took the initiative to propose to go to Dongdao Island to obtain the Wuxiang Divine Needle.

Although "Vajra Power" is the world's top-notch martial art that can directly break the void, it does not suit her temperament.

In comparison, Meng Chixing's path is more valuable for reference.

Therefore, even though he knew that there was a rare magical skill in front of him, Li Ruohai still controlled his temper and started from the stone wall left by Meng Chixing.

Just like that, two figures, one big and one small, sat cross-legged side by side in the valley, exploring their own future in martial arts.

After Xu Xing's soul left his body and was freed from the constraints of his flesh, not only did his sensitivity to the vital energy of heaven and earth increase dramatically, but his efficiency in comprehending the will of martial arts also greatly increased.

He and Yuan Tou Tuo just looked at each other, and many insights emerged in his mind. That was the basis of the "Great Vajra Power" and the "Thirty-two Body Forms". Xu Xing was also very familiar with it.

In fact, although the three worlds he experienced each had their own martial arts systems, they also had some similar origins.

For example, the "Garthāna Mandala" demonstrated by the Four Secret Masters and the "Miraculous Transformation of the Blessing of Vairocana Tathagata" learned by Xu Xing both come from Tibetan Buddhist scriptures and have the same fundamental principles.

Therefore, Xu Xing was able to use his true meaning of Vairocana Tathagata to break the mandala field of the Four Secret Master so easily and plunder half of the Four Secret Master's cultivation.

The thirty-two forms of the "Great Vajra Power" are also consistent with what Xu Xing had learned before.

However, that was not a martial art from the Northern Song Dynasty, but a Buddhist body-building method from the Ming Dynasty.

When Xu Xing was in Southern Shaolin that day, he had seen the Buddha body of the Chakravartin, which had almost all the thirty-two characteristics.

After he achieved an indestructible body, he possessed the thirty-two characteristics of a Buddha's body and even reached a perfect state of "becoming a Buddha in this very body and having no leakage in the Dharma body."

Although the thirty-two aspects of the "Great Vajra Power" are not a kind of physical achievement, but an extremely strange means of attack, or a method of applying true energy, Xu Xing was able to comprehend them extremely quickly after comparing them with each other.

In the original work, the practice of "Vajra Power" also follows Buddhist principles.

The practice of the "Thirty-two Aspects" is only to enable practitioners to comprehend the principle that "the Thirty-two Aspects are neither aspects nor non-aspects", so as to condense their own "true nature", which is what the martial arts of this world call the "empty realm".

In order to break the supreme path of the void, the warriors of this world embark on the road of "empty realm". In fact, it is precisely to seek constancy from change, to first fix their own existence in the vital energy of heaven and earth, and then seek independence.

Although Jiuru's "Great Vajra Power" also reflects this characteristic, there are also considerable differences between them.

The "empty realm" of ordinary warriors will show many differences due to different personal cultivation levels.

However, if one practices unique skills that are aimed at breaking things, such as "Heavenly Demon Strategy", "Cihang Sword Canon", "Eternal Life Art", "Circulating Six Void Technique", etc., the "Empty Realm Field" formed will be similar and the difference will not be too big.

If breaking the void is likened to crossing a river, then the vital energy of heaven and earth is the mighty torrent that stretches between the two banks.

If ordinary warriors want to reach the other side, they need to build a "raft", which is also the "empty realm".

These unique skills themselves symbolize one "boat" after another that has successfully crossed the river. Although they cannot be said to be an absolute smooth road, they are definitely invaluable guides and have even formed a fixed pattern.

Later generations only need to make slight modifications to the shape and form of these "rafts", and there is no need to design a completely new "raft" from scratch.

But the "Great Vajra Power" is different. Although this martial art has only been passed down to the present day, three people have developed three completely different "true forms".

The ultimate goal of the "empty realm" is to break the void, and the most important thing is solidity and immutability.

This is also why the Dharma Realm structure of the Four Mystics is so rigorous, so that it can withstand the impact from the external world to the greatest extent.

But the essence of "Vajra Power" is not "invariability" and "solidity", but rather "change" itself.

In other words, Jiuru adopted a modular design, leaving behind 32 interrelated yet independent components, providing sufficient freedom for later generations.

According to the Diamond Sutra, the so-called thirty-two marks of the Buddha are actually the manifestation of the Buddha's external appearance in the eyes of sentient beings. The discussion of the thirty-two marks is not unified in many scriptures.

In fact, the thirty-two marks do not have a fixed symbol. Instead, they are manifestations of the thirty-two most extraordinary and incredible external forms that were highly regarded by the Indian people at that time.

Based on this, the Buddha preached the Diamond Sutra to tell sentient beings that it is not advisable to define the true nature of Buddha based on the external appearance manifested by the Buddha.

The so-called thirty-two marks are nothing more than the marks of the Chakravartin that the Buddha shows to the world in order to encourage all living beings to follow the good path.

Of course, if it were only the parts for shipbuilding, the "Vajra Power" would naturally not be enough to be compared with those other established magical skills.

In Jiuru's view, the vital energy of heaven and earth is an ever-changing existence.

What's more, there are many fellow travelers trying to cross the river, and the water flow is even more complicated.

If we blindly pursue stereotypes, perhaps they can be broken at a certain period of time, but once the world changes drastically and the "river" changes its course, these successful experiences may become obstacles to those who come later.

Therefore, what Jiuru really wants to cultivate is the ability of later generations to observe the "water situation", that is, to adapt to the situation.

If we use a Buddhist metaphor, it is the Vajra nature.

The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the six realms respond to people’s thoughts and transform into billions of incarnations with infinite changes. They appear in various forms before all living beings, all of which are manifestations of this power.

If explained according to the Tibetan Tantric Buddhism, the word "Vajra" at this time is not a metaphor for the solidity of the self, which cannot be destroyed by external things, but a metaphor for the wisdom and virtue of the Tathagata's inner realization, which is sharp and can destroy confusion and obstacles to verify the truth.

Only with the nature of Vajra can one truly reach the state of viewing all conditioned phenomena as dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows, like dew and lightning, and that all phenomena are not phenomena.

Only when one possesses such a nature can one observe various aspects from the perspectives of self, others, sentient beings, and the living being, and use the most extraordinary and subtle appearance in the eyes of others to transform oneself, and finally see one's true self.

If one does not realize his true nature and concentrate his Vajra Heart, he will surely get lost in the endless changes of sentient beings, lose his own spiritual wisdom, and eventually turn into a demon or heretic, constantly changing.

After truly understanding the true meaning of the Vajra's divine power, even with Xu Xing's level of concentration, he couldn't help but smile with joy.

The principles described in it coincide with his theory of "true form and Dharma body". In essence, they are both based on spiritual will to give rise to all kinds of incredible changes.

In fact, according to Jiuru's idea, after seeing the self-image of oneself and achieving no self-image, no person-image, no sentient being-image, and no life-image, the power of transformation will no longer be bound by the inherent image in the minds of sentient beings, and can be transformed into various incredible external images based on the improvement of sentient beings. However, in this world, people seek to "break the void". Once they consolidate their "original image" and form an "empty realm", they understand that it is difficult to "transform" as they wish because they are afraid of changing the structure of the field, and they are afraid of the disaster of "losing themselves".

Therefore, even though he had glimpsed this realm, it was still difficult for him to put it into practice. He only recorded his ideas, and when the environment of heaven and earth changed drastically in the future, later generations might be able to give it a try.

Apart from this somewhat feasible conjecture, Jiuru was left with a hypothesis that could be described as wild.

If, on this basis, one can go one step further and reach the state of seeing all things as non-things, which is seeing the Tathagata, then the power of transformation will no longer be bound by the appearances of the human world.

It is even possible to transform into another body as one thinks of it. It is said that whatever achievement others want to achieve will appear before them.

What Xu Xing valued were these two unprecedented achievements.

After all, he was a visitor from outer space and had the Haotian Mirror in his hand. If he wanted to leave this world, he didn't need to take the orthodox path of "breaking the void", so Jiuru had no worries at all.

The confidence that Xu Xing had in reaching such a state came from his body, which had been tempered through thousands of trials and tribulations and was almost a spiritual being of heaven and earth.

Generally speaking, according to the common sense of martial arts in this world, once the true appearance is determined, it is difficult to change, because the true appearance is the product of the body, spirit, and true energy being mixed together after many times of running-in. Changing any one of them may cause unpredictable consequences.

But in Xu Xing's opinion, the most important factor that makes one's true nature unchangeable is the physical body which is the basis of existence.

True Qi is energy, which has the nature of being ever-changing. Not to mention the illusory spirit. The physical body, which only exists as material, is difficult to change easily.

Moreover, the bodies of the warriors in this world had already melted a lot of evil energy long before they achieved the Void Realm.

Although such action makes their bodies stronger, it also makes it difficult for them to transform their flesh and blood into spiritual power like Wen-type warriors, turning it into qi when dispersed and condensing it into shape when gathered.

This is why, when the Void Realm Grandmaster unfolds the field, he uses the physical body as the central pillar, but Xu Xing's physical body is different from that of any other warrior in this world.

His physique had already shown qualities that transcended material existence as early as the time he achieved human immortality. The "body fire" that burned his body and soul was a clear example of this.

After arriving in the Wen world, with enough spiritual energy absorbed, it became the physical body of the "true form of Dharma body". The degree of change was further improved, and even showing a ten-foot combat body was easy.

If one cannot achieve the "state of transformation" with such a body, then I am afraid no one in the world can achieve it.

Moreover, Xu Xing also wanted to try, while practicing the "Great Vajra Power", whether he could build a temple in a snail shell and refine the "field" into the realm of the physical body according to the experience left by three generations of Vajra descendants?
If it can be realized, can the "field" be disguised?

After all, compared to crossing the river by boat like the warriors in this realm, Xu Xing still prefers the exhilarating feeling of fighting the wind and waves with bare hands and clearing a path.

All these ideas required Xu Xing to practice them one by one, and were bound to take a lot of hard work, but he did not feel tired at all, but instead enjoyed it.

After half a day of contemplation, Xu Xing opened his eyes. There was no golden light in his eyes like Prince Xue Chan had just seen. They were still as clear as before, and even the aura around him had not changed at all.

Li Ruohai is still upset about his momentary negligence in allowing Xu Xing's physical body to fight Li Chimei alone, so he is paying close attention to the changes in his physical body.

As soon as she sensed movement, she opened her eyes.

Seeing that Xu Xing's aura had not changed, Li Ruohai thought that he had gained nothing, so he gently rubbed his hair and comforted him naturally:

"Although 'Great Vajra Power' is also a Buddhist practice, it is not the same as your Tibetan Tantric Buddhism after all. It is normal that there is no gain for a while.

If it really doesn't work, let's stay here for a while. There's no rush to go to Dongdao."

Xu Xing did not deliberately get rid of Li Ruohai's hand. He just turned his head and looked at the mountain wall, saying calmly:

"I have already understood 50% to 60% of the true meaning, which is enough."

"Five or six out of ten?"

Li Ruohai was stunned, obviously not expecting Xu Xing to understand so quickly.

But she did not doubt the truth of this statement. Instead, she frowned and said with concern:
"In that case, why not learn it all at once?"

Xu Xing smiled faintly:
"No need for that. Only about 50% or 60% of the truth is worth my time and effort. The rest is insignificant."

Hearing this, Li Ruohai was stunned. Countless expressions changed on that stern and beautiful face in an instant, and even his tall and straight chest rose and fell slightly.

The girl took a deep breath once, twice, three times, and finally couldn't help but speak:

"Sometimes, I really want to punch you."

Xu Xing's expression remained normal. He just raised a thumb and praised:

"You are frank and have a good temper. You are worthy of being my chosen disciple."

Li Ruohai was completely speechless now. He just turned his face away, too lazy to look at this shameless child pretending to be young.

Xu Xing ignored his cheap disciple who was making trouble, but turned around, clasped his hands together, bowed deeply to the stone wall, and said in a deep voice:
"I will definitely repay you for your kindness in passing on the Dharma in the future."

Li Ruohai heard the seriousness in his words, raised his eyebrows like two thin sharp blades, and couldn't help asking:
"For this 50% to 60% of the truth, you want to go to the Magic Master Palace?"

Xu Xing nodded as a matter of course:
“Even if this incident had not happened, I would have discussed martial arts with Meng Chixing and Pang Ban sooner or later.

Besides, a favor, no matter how big or small, should be repaid, so a little trouble is nothing."

After Xu Xing finished speaking, he raised his head and asked:

"If I don't want to cause trouble, why would I come here? Miss Li, do you want to come to this world and have nothing to do with you?"

Li Ruohai frowned, crossed his arms, raised his eyebrows again, and asked in a very straightforward manner:

"What do you think?"

Xu Xing clapped his hands and laughed:

"That's why we can go together."

He turned his head, looked towards the eastern sky, and said leisurely:

"I'm new to your place, and I only know the general idea of many things. Along the way, I hope Miss Li can help me solve my doubts."

Li Ruohai nodded. She was curious about Xu Xing's background and took this opportunity to have a conversation with him.

Now that the matter here was settled, the two of them headed eastwards, heading straight to Dongdao Island.

Along the way, Li Ruohai also gave Xu Xing a lot of common sense about the world.

The first thing to talk about is, of course, the natural disaster that lasted for several years and left endless harm, as well as the power structure of the world in the decades after the disaster.

Xu Xing also realized that although the development of martial arts in this world was better than that in the Northern Song Dynasty, it did not present a situation of warring factions and wars everywhere.

This is because during the long process of development, the martial arts forces had already completed their internal integration, and almost 80% to 90% of the masters were controlled by several major leading forces.

A master cultivator like Li Ruohai is extremely rare.

In the Northern Song Dynasty, although the power of the imperial court had been weakened to the extreme, both Zhuge Zhengwo, the leader of the righteous path, and King Zuo Wu, who intended to rebel, had to work within this framework.

The gang fighting that followed was also mostly an extension of the infighting and hostility among several major factions in the court, such as the battle of Wuliang Mountain and the incident against Qiao Feng.

But in this world, even the imperial court itself no longer exists, and the focus of the world's attention has shifted to a few major leading forces.

Even the remnants of the Mongols who are now entrenched outside the Great Wall can only survive by relying on the strength of the Dalun Temple and the Demon Master Palace.

Rather than saying that these two martial arts holy places were the guardians of the Mongols, it would be better to say that the Mongols were their vassals.

This is why, even though Xue Chan is a descendant of the royal family, he has to study in the Magic Master's Palace.

Compared with these two martial arts holy places outside the Great Wall, which are full of talented people and masters, the martial arts world in the Central Plains inevitably seems to be a little lacking in succession.

It was because the natural disaster happened at such a coincidence that several great masters of the white path who were the pillars of the Central Plains martial arts were all shattered into pieces, leaving almost no inheritance.

Among the generation that grew up after the change in the sky, no one can compete with the "magic master".

Therefore, at the level of top combat power, Zhongyuan can only rely on several old masters who used to explore the "Jingyan Palace" with the hero Chuanying, such as "Shuangjue Guai" Bikongqing, "Qi King" Ling Duxu and others to support the scene.

As for the two holy places of Dongdao and Xicheng, they were mortal enemies of each other and hardly participated in the struggle between the Central Plains and the Mongols.

Hearing this, Xu Xing couldn't help but feel curious.

If the righteous path was just as Li Ruohai said, then how on earth could they defend the Central Plains in the face of Ba Siba and Meng Chixing, two half-step broken masters on the verge of ascending to heaven, and even prevent the Mongols from moving south even a single step?
When Li Ruohai said this, his face, which was always full of confidence, showed for the first time a look of reverence that Xu Xing had never seen before.

In fact, what really prevented the two land immortals from going south was not a group of old masters, but a mountain, or rather a person on the mountain.

That person was called Zhang Sanfeng.

The reason why it is said that among the masters who were destroyed when the heaven changed, “almost” no one left behind any inheritance was because of the existence of this old Taoist Zhang.

No one knows where Zhang Sanfeng came from. The first time he appeared in the world, he was in the form of an old Taoist priest, at the Ten Absolute Passes where the "Supreme Master" helped Donglai attain enlightenment and ascend to heaven.

So many people believe that Zhang Sanfeng is Ling Donglai's successor, but Zhang Sanfeng has never answered this question directly.

But if he is said to be a successor, this old Taoist seems a little too old and his strength is a little too strong.

Therefore, there is another saying secretly circulating in the world.

In fact, Ling Donglai did not ascend to heaven at all. It was just that something unexpected happened during his practice, and he eventually became the Zhang Sanfeng he is today.

Since this old Taoist was born, he has made very few moves, but all of them have been stunning and astonishing.
The most commendable thing was that he single-handedly suppressed the "voids" left by several broken masters, quelled the riot of the vitality of heaven and earth, and stopped the disaster caused by the natural changes in advance.

After this incident, Zhang Laodao even convened a gathering of heroes from all over the world on Mount Wudang. With his small number of men, he made the eight major sects that were once famous in the white world all bow down to him and call him "the world's master of martial arts."

Even the Cihang Jingzhai and Jingnian Zen sects, who were always known for their mysterious behavior, acknowledged the old Taoist priest's identity as the leader of the martial arts world.

It is said that during the meeting that day, Ba Siba and Meng Chixing also came hiding their identities and fought with Zhang Sanfeng, but they felt they had no guarantee of victory, so they withdrew.

This is the origin of the "Tianxiahui".

Since then, the old Taoist priest has sat on the top of Mount Wudang, dedicated himself to repairing the "hole" with his own original "Ten Yang Realm", and rarely appeared in the world.

It is only the occasional sight of "Ten Suns in the Sky" in Wudang Mountain that reveals the existence of Master Zhang to the world.

However, there are rumors in the martial arts world that although Zhang Sanfeng, the paperhanger, has averted a disaster, he has also made the already difficult task of "breaking the void" even more difficult.

Anyone who wants to take the last step will have to fight with the old Taoist priest. The reason why Ba Siba and Meng Chixing have been living in seclusion in recent years is to prepare for this matter.

Moreover, since this news came from the only descendant of the great hero Chuan Ying Chuan who remained in the world, Living Buddha Ying Yuan, few people doubted its authenticity.

Many people also believe that the reason why Ying Yuan was willing to live in Dalun Temple was to get rid of Zhang Sanfeng so that he could take the last step to meet his unparalleled father Chuan Ying, whom he had never met.

Speaking of this, even Li Ruohai's expression was a little complicated.

Although she is a martial arts fanatic who is determined to "break the void", she is unwilling to let the world suffer from disasters again for her own sake, and she is even more unwilling to go against Zhang Sanfeng, an old immortal who is willing to sacrifice for the people.

However, Li Ruohai quickly calmed down.

After all, even with her age and talent, it would probably take her decades to take the final step. By that time, it would be hard to say what the world would be like.

After hearing these things, Xu Xing became a little shaken, his eyes widened, and he could hardly control himself. It took him a long time to calm down.

Zhang Sanfeng, hey, what a great Zhang Sanfeng!

Although he was full of interest in this old Taoist who was "the world's best in martial arts", Xu Xing also knew his own limitations and forcibly suppressed his excitement, and just let out a long breath.

Based on Li Ruohai's narration, the thoughts of the Four Secret Masters, and the remaining information of Yuan Toudao, Xu Xing had a clearer understanding of his current strength.

With his current skill level, even if he were to face a veteran master of the second level of the Void Realm, he would probably have a hard time and would not be sure of winning.

If a great master like Meng Chixing took action, Xu Xing would have to flee, let alone Zhang Sanfeng who could suppress the world alone, repair the holes in heaven and earth, and smooth out the torrent of vital energy?
However, although he came to a clear conclusion in his mind, Xu Xing was not discouraged at all.

He looked into the distance and couldn't help but grin, revealing a row of round white teeth. His smile was extremely happy, even with a bit of innocence and childishness that was purely in line with his appearance.

Such a world is really the best for Xu Xing.

——The positions of good and evil are clearly distinguished, without so many twists and turns. There are magnificent scenery worth appreciating, and there is also a martial arts pinnacle that stands tall between heaven and earth, waiting for him to challenge.

With such emotion, Xu Xing devoted more energy to learning the "power of Vajra" on his journey eastward.

He hoped to utilize the portion of purified true Qi in his body that belonged to the Four Secret Masters as soon as possible, recast his true form and body, and gain the confidence to fight against those peak martial artists.

At the same time, Xu Xing also devoted part of his attention to guiding Li Ruohai in his practice.

Although Li Ruohai entered the martial arts world very early and made a great name for himself, he had no master to guide him. Even the secret book of "Wedding Dress Magic" was obtained by chance. What he learned was full of strong personal style.

This is not a bad thing at this stage of vigorous progress.

But if she wants to go further and more steadily on the path of martial arts, she will need to spend more time in the future to calm down and quietly sort out what she has learned.

When Xu Xing went north to venture into the world of the Ming Dynasty, he remained silent in the Xianchao Pavilion for several years before he finally achieved the master's boxing skills.

Therefore, Xu Xing did not teach her any new martial arts for the time being. He just taught her some basic knowledge and cognition about the structure of body and spirit, the vital energy of heaven and earth, physique, and true energy based on his own experience, so that she could understand the reasons as much as possible.

Only with these understandings can she break away from the stage of relying on instinct and inspiration to fight, and re-examine her martial arts from a high-level perspective to form a complete system.

In fact, Li Ruohai's self-created "Liaoyuan Spear Technique" was also an attempt in this direction.

Now with Xu Xing's help, she has cleared many obstacles, made rapid progress, and completely condensed the "empty realm" into shape, entering the realm of a grandmaster.

While Li Ruohai was refining the "empty realm", Xu Xing was also observing her changes and discussing with her the secrets of constructing the "empty realm".

Although Li Ruohai is young, he has created his own spear technique from scratch and has become a master. He has his own insights into martial arts.

Although such insights seemed a bit fragmentary and unsystematic compared to the disciples of large sects who had a solid foundation, they were imaginative and original, and Xu Xing benefited a lot from them.

Although Xu Xing wanted to take Li Ruohai as his apprentice, he now had to admit that he had indeed underestimated this young girl.

Rather than master and disciple, they are now more like fellow Taoists who cooperate sincerely and help each other. Perhaps this is the true meaning of being in the same boat.

While practicing in full swing, Xu Xing gradually felt that the terrain around him was getting higher and the climate was getting warmer and more humid.

After listening to Li Ruohai's words, he realized that they had arrived in Shuzhong.
