From the Ming Dynasty, we will conquer the world

Chapter 275 Dividing the troops into two groups, secretly advancing along the Chencang Pass.

Huang Mei had been on guard against possible enemy reinforcements ever since Fahai appeared.

After all, even with his supernatural powers, he couldn't detect where Fahai came from, which was an extremely shocking fact.

Even his conversation with Xuanzang just now was at most 70% genuine, with the remaining 30% being a pretense to lure out potential adversaries.

The biggest reason he dared to do this was his supernatural powers.

When Huang Mei blocked Xuanzang on the road, his cultivation was already sufficient to attain the Bodhisattva status, or even the Tenth Ground Bodhisattva. In the Heavenly Court, he could also win the title of True Lord.

Now, more than three hundred years have passed since the end of the journey to the West. After Huang Mei returned to the Western Paradise, although many of his magical treasures were taken away, he devoted himself to cultivation, meditation and enlightenment, and his supernatural powers have greatly improved.

Since following the Great Extinction Tathagata and the Demon Lord of No Heaven, he not only obtained all of Maitreya's magic treasures from the past, but his cultivation also reached a higher level, truly establishing himself at the Emperor realm.

Among the rebels who had escaped by chance, the most powerful were the Medicine Master Liuli Buddha and the Baosheng Emperor, who were only at the Emperor level and were seriously injured with all their magical treasures destroyed.

The strongest warrior, Qingyuan Miaodao Zhenjun, the Victorious Fighting Buddha, was trapped by the combined forces of the Eastern and Western emperors and was unable to escape.

Therefore, Huang Mei was confident that with his current level of cultivation, he was enough to sweep away all his enemies. It would have been better if the Medicine Master and the Baosheng Emperor hadn't come; now that they had, it would have been impossible for them to leave the Netherworld alive!

As for the rest, they are not worth mentioning.

But when this group actually made their move, Huang Mei realized she was wrong, terribly wrong.

—Damn it, where did all these True Lords, Lords of the Realm, and True Immortals come from in this world?!
Could it be that these rebels have truly found the legacy of the Daoist Master, or perhaps the place of the Buddha's inheritance?

Furthermore, the supernatural powers used by these people were vastly different from those Huang Mei had previously known. Although they were equally strict in their rules and ingenious in their structure, they were focused on pure destructive power and destruction.

The auras of those True Monarchs were already incredibly lethal, but the most terrifying was another sword intent hidden in the void, contained yet unleashed, which had already locked onto him.

Huang Mei had previously accompanied the Future Buddha to pay homage to Donghua Dijun, who was known as the number one sword immortal in the Three Realms. However, even the sword intent of this sword immortal ancestor was not as pure as this!

In the next instant, the yellow-robed monk's physical body was completely torn apart, and a Buddha statue, tens of thousands of feet tall with its head reaching the sky, stood up on the spot.

This statue is even taller than the remains of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva by more than one head, and its figure is extremely robust. It is dressed in celestial robes, holding a golden cymbal in its left hand and a crystal tree in its right. There is also a yellow cloth bag in the halo behind its head.

As this Dharma image appeared, the six Buddha images that preside over the six realms of reincarnation also slowly opened their eyes, their eyes shining with a brilliant golden light that illuminated the vast emptiness.

The seven Buddhas suppressed the netherworld, and suddenly, golden Udumbara flowers bloomed across the vast Yin land. Within each Udumbara flower sat a Bodhisattva, Arhat, Vajra, or Apsara...

But the group's reaction was beyond Huang Mei's expectations. They didn't care about the changes in the Netherworld at all. They just unleashed their supernatural powers on their golden bodies with all their might and without fear of death.

In Huang Mei's memory, the immortals of Heaven and the Buddhas of Mount Ling rarely fought so desperately because of their immeasurable lifespan and numerous incarnation methods.

After all, even if they suffer a temporary defeat, they can return with various backup plans, so there is no need to shake the foundation of their cultivation.

But the group of immortals and gods before him had no such mentality; they were only focused on killing him and didn't care about anything else—even if the price was their own life.

Therefore, neither the Buddha's appearance could frighten them, nor could the magnificent scenery of Mount Ling shake them; their only goal was to take Huang Mei's life!
This is only natural, since Di Huaiying and the others are mortals who have been tempered in the demonic tribulations of the lower realm. Their fighting spirit is far stronger than that of the immortals and gods of the upper realm who have enjoyed peace for so long.

Through decades of hardship, they have come to understand one thing: to achieve victory, they cannot be afraid of sacrifice, even if it means sacrificing themselves.

As for the so-called scenic spots of Lingshan, they are not worth mentioning in their eyes.

Because these newly ascended immortals and gods had spent several days and nights with Xu Xing's physical body, which had reached the "shattering of the vacuum" realm.

Compared to Xu Xing's physical achievements, even the real Mount Ling or the Thirty-Six Heavens of the Heavenly Court are nothing.

All these factors combined have led to the current situation!
-

Beyond the Netherworld, and even beyond the Realm of Earthly Immortals, the Great Destruction Tathagata and the Demon Emperor were locked in fierce combat.

The Great Extinction Tathagata threw a punch, which struck the Demon Emperor squarely in the chest, creating a hole. The Demon Emperor was not to be outdone, and his giant arm swept across, shattering the Great Extinction Tathagata's head and causing his Dharma form to sway.

Both of these powerful beings excelled in magical power and martial arts. However, when they fought, it was a simple contest of accumulated strength, without involving any changes in the laws of magic.

But it is precisely this kind of battle that is most awe-inspiring. If it were in the material universe, the aftershocks of just one of their clashes would be enough to annihilate countless stars.

Fortunately, the boundless void outside the Earthly Immortal Realm continent is filled with endless chaotic energy and has no stars, making it a perfect battlefield for them.

Even so, their battle could be described as one that wouldn't stop until the world was turned upside down!
After yet another clash, even the majestic Buddha face of the Great Extinction Tathagata, with its fierce and wrathful expression, couldn't help but reveal a joyful and unrestrained laugh.

"What a fiend! No wonder you dared to trespass on my Buddhist sacred land. Come, come, and see how the Buddha subdues this demon!"

The Great Extinction Tathagata attained enlightenment through the Zen of destruction and killing. His opponents were either celestial emperors or demon lords of the lower realms, and his killing intent and malevolent aura were among the best in this world.

However, the Buddha imprisoned him for this reason, not wanting him to do anything more, causing unnecessary bloodshed and ruining the great cause of Buddhism.

Therefore, the Great Extinction Tathagata has not truly exerted his full strength or displayed his abilities for thousands of years.

Even in that calamity of the past, most Buddhas, including the previous World Honored One, were burdened by karma and had no choice but to voluntarily pass away.

The Buddha that the Great Extinction Tathagata personally killed was only a minor future Buddha; apart from Maitreya, not a single soul was worthy of his remembrance. Now, encountering the Demon Emperor, a powerful being of equal strength, the Great Extinction Tathagata was naturally overjoyed and determined to cause chaos and upheaval!

Although the Demon Emperor was not a pure battle maniac like the Great Destruction Tathagata, he still derives enough pleasure from this evenly matched battle. Naturally, he will not refuse the Great Destruction's invitation. With a long roar, he charges forward again!
After their next exchange, Da Mie's expression suddenly changed. His once dignified Buddha-like face now revealed a fierce and menacing look as he coldly said:
"What a monster! He actually used a feint to attack my Six Paths of Reincarnation, sending someone to ambush me. What a scheme! What a scheme!"

"The Buddha pitied your cultivation and respected your profound skills, and originally intended to spare your life to make you a worthy opponent. However, you did not understand the will of Heaven and acted recklessly, so you could not be spared!"

The Demon Emperor didn't actually know what Da Mie was talking about, but when he thought about his previous strange encounters, he had a guess in his mind.

However, given the current situation, Da Mie would not listen to his explanation. He spread his hands, and the chaotic energy behind him surged and churned like a great tide.

The Great Extinction Tathagata's palms opened and closed unpredictably, his hand seals constantly changing. His Buddha image transformed into a dazzling glazed light, and the swastika between his eyebrows spun up, growing bigger and bigger and bigger!
In an instant, the swastika symbol transformed into a giant wheel, hovering over the chaotic ocean. The Great Extinction Tathagata seemed to have become the center of all things, manipulating everything in the world.

As this "Great Extinction Wheel" turns, the passage of time, the layers of emptiness, the flow of all primordial energy, and even all things are suppressed, and then they turn endlessly.

From the Demon Emperor's perspective, the vast area spanning hundreds of millions of miles, even light-years in diameter, was ruled by this "Great Annihilation Wheel," which swirled and rotated.

Countless smaller wheels emerged, resembling guardians. On the sunken giant ship left by the Demon Emperor in the Immortal Realm, small wheels also appeared on the bodies of the demon warriors.

Hundreds of millions of demons exploded and died, turning into endless vortexes of flesh and blood that swirled and flew ceaselessly.

The Demon Emperor's expression changed.

His path of cultivation was modeled after that of the Primordial Demon Ancestor. Although he did not establish a system of demon races that spanned the universe, he combined his own genes with the supernatural powers of the Plague Lord to cultivate a group of absolutely loyal demon warriors.

These demon warriors were not only the Demon Emperor's capable assistants in conquering the starry sea and establishing a vast empire, but also an important part of his own supernatural powers.

But now, the very foundation of his power has become the weapon of the Great Destruction Tathagata. How could this thieving bald man's Buddhist teachings be so despicable?!
Although the Demon Emperor did not yet understand the extent of the Great Annihilation Tathagata's divine power, he had already sensed the threat posed by this "Great Annihilation Brahma Wheel" and thus unleashed his killing move for the first time.

Although these demon warriors made of flesh and blood were controlled by the "Great Annihilation Brahma Wheel," the true power of the Demon Emperor remained unshaken.

—That is the sunken behemoth far away in the Immortal Realm!

Now, sensing the call of this supreme demon, the ship, which spans hundreds of thousands of miles, spontaneously turned its bow, pierced through countless universes, traversed the boundless void, and arrived at the very center of the battlefield.

In its ship form, the sunken behemoth was already comparable in size to a giant planet, but this was not its full potential; rather, it was in an "energy-saving mode" that was compressed to the extreme to reduce energy consumption.

The sunken behemoth itself was actually a giant war weapon forged by the Demon Emperor using his own demonic form. The demonic warriors residing within it were merely consumables such as energy and fuel.

Now, this colossal ship has begun its transformation after tens of thousands of years. The towering mountains and vast oceans that had accumulated on its hull are now like dust and dew, easily shaken off and scattered into the rolling chaos.

The avatar that the Demon Emperor is now using has also merged into the sunken behemoth, as if it has injected a crucial touch of spirituality into the behemoth, truly awakening it.

The giant god made of steel suddenly opened its eyes, feeling the hunger emanating from every mechanical part of its body and every demonic cell. It reached out and grasped the seemingly infinitely vast "Great Extinction Wheel"!
If you raise your perspective without limit, you can see a colossal, terrifying being whose very form evokes images of holiness, turning a wheel with both hands.

The surrounding chaotic energy surged more and more violently, wave after wave, as if it would never stop. After an unknown amount of time, the tremor finally subsided, leaving only the giant god transformed from the Demon Emperor standing in place, still as majestic and sacred as ever.

But he felt no joy at defeating a powerful enemy, only a furious rage at being fooled!
Because the Great Extinction Tathagata was no longer here, the Demon Emperor's only perceived opponent was that roulette wheel!

Although the Great Extinction Tathagata practiced the method of destruction and was known in the upper realm for his martial arts obsession and battle maniac, he was, after all, born into the Buddhist sect. It wasn't that he didn't know how to use various supernatural powers, but that he simply didn't like to use them.

However, now that Da Mie has sensed another powerful force infiltrating the Six Paths of Reincarnation that he is focusing on, he will naturally not stick to the method of direct confrontation.

Ultimately, for the Great Extinction, the only ultimate goal is to kill all sentient beings in the world, achieve pure extinction, and attain blissful Nirvana; fighting is merely a means to an end.

He had a fairly clear and accurate assessment in his mind: at least at this stage, the arrangement of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, or rather the Netherworld, was more important to this ultimate goal than defeating the Demon Emperor.

Therefore, he decisively abandoned the battle with the Demon Emperor and withdrew.

The Great Extinction Tathagata had barely shifted his attention from the battle when he noticed something amiss. After a moment's thought, he revealed a cold smile:

"You cunning scoundrel, your feint attack is quite clever, but how could your rudimentary spatial magic possibly fool the Buddha's eyes?!"

A being of such great supernatural power as the Great Extinction Tathagata has long surpassed the scope of the so-called divine eye. With a single glance, he can tell that although there are changes in the six realms of reincarnation, they are still within a controllable range.

On the contrary, the void path leading to the Underworld Kingdom of Mount Tai, although seemingly without any abnormalities, was immediately and silently annihilated when the divine sense of the Great Annihilation Tathagata swept over it, as if it had been swallowed into a dark black hole.

This is not some kind of supernatural power or magic, but merely a trace left by a great supernatural being who passed by.

Da Mie is now genuinely curious about where all these powerful beings suddenly came from in the world.

Unlike the long-standing cooperative relationship between the Demon Emperor and the Plague Lord, the relationship between Da Mie and Wu Tian is more independent. The two are not even cooperating, but merely admiring each other.

Therefore, Da Mie was unaware of many truths about that battle and was not interested in them, so naturally he did not know the origin and achievements of the Demon Emperor.

Adding to this the True Martial Emperor, who is currently in the "Mysterious and Boundless World" and has severed the connection between the three realms with his own power, and this mysterious powerhouse, there are now a total of three.

Could it be that Wutian and that Great Celestial Venerable's scheme has indeed reached its most critical juncture, which is why it has provoked the most intense backlash in this world?
The Great Extinction Tathagata was unaware of the details, but he knew one thing—this battle had indeed only just begun! (End of Chapter)
