Chapter 26 Good morning

On a path climbing up to the middle square, Jinx protected Isa with one hand and held a flare in the other. Seeing that the old-style flare stopped spraying after a short while, Jinx shook it vigorously.

This sentence is very familiar. Silko once said it to Sevika in front of Jinx.

And now, Jinx is using this sentence on herself.

But Hilco was not angry. Instead, he put his hand on his forehead and sighed. Then, he raised his hand and said softly, "Your rebellious period seems to have come a little late, but I understand. Okay, go ahead, don't hurt her, take her back, and remember, don't hurt her."

Hilco raised his voice in the last sentence.

When Sevika, who was standing behind Silko, heard this, he looked at Silko's back and frowned, but immediately returned to normal.
