Chapter 499 Alien Empera VS. The Great Devourer's Clone

“I can see your loyalty to the empire. This battle is one you cannot withstand. Just retreat.”

"Leave the rest of the battle to me, you don't need to worry!" Rhode used his powerful psionic energy to transmit this message directly to the ears of all the human commanders present.

"May your military prowess be assured, great Primarch, we believe you will achieve final victory." The numerous mortal commanders nodded to Rhodes, then each piloted their battle barges, destroyers, cruisers, and frigates toward the center of the star system.

"Make room at the edge of the galaxy, as Rhodes instructed, clear at least several light-years of space within a radius." Tartarus approached Rhodes and said, "Great master! This opponent is very strong; the aura it exudes is terrifying."

This so-called Great Devourer is definitely not simple. Not only does it possess immense power in the physical universe, but it is also on par with those four in the subspace, and even more ancient than them.

"Let me have some fun, Great Devourer!"

After the Dark Universe Emperor finished speaking, he slashed down with his sword, which was tens of thousands of meters long, unleashing a terrifying dark sword aura.

The dark energy of the Alien Empera surged through the universe. The tens of thousands of meters long Empera Blade carved a pitch-black crack. Wherever the sword energy passed, space distorted, and even starlight was swallowed up. This was absolute dark power.

The dark sword energy slashed at the Great Devourer's clone like divine punishment, instantly cleaving through its thick biological carapace. Purple-black insectoid blood gushed out like a waterfall, condensing into strange crystals in the vacuum.

The Dark Universe Emperor succeeded with just one strike.

The Great Devourer unleashed a deafening psionic shriek, causing the entire star system to tremble and countless wrecked Zerg hive warships to be pulverized by the sound waves.

Its wound writhed rapidly, and new flesh and blood regenerated at a visible speed. At the same time, countless psionic runes appeared on its carapace, forming a honeycomb-shaped psionic defense matrix.

The ten-thousand-meter-long blade of the Alien Empera tore through the void, and the slashes, condensed from dark matter energy, instantly vaporized the meteorite belts along its path.

The Devourer clone emitted a high-frequency psionic shriek, its three pairs of scythe-shaped forelimbs crossed to block, and a honeycomb-shaped psionic matrix appeared on its carapace. The shockwave that erupted when it took the slash head-on caused the surrounding space to distort.

"Foolish organism, I will devour you. My body is invincible and immortal." The Great Devourer unleashed a terrifying psionic attack, but it was neutralized by the dark energy of the Dark Universe Emperor.

“Regeneration? Let’s see how many times you can regenerate!” Alien Empera sneered, gripping the sword hilt with both hands. Dark energy gathered like a storm, and the blade swelled again, transforming into a massive black blade that traversed the galaxy, slashing once more at the Great Devourer before him.

"Dark Annihilation Slash!" This sword strike is no longer a simple physical attack, but an energy burst infused with the laws of darkness.

When the sword fell, even space itself was torn apart, forming a brief subspace rift.

The Great Devourer's clone was cleaved in two by this sword strike, its massive body tilting to either side, and countless Zerg units rapidly decaying under the influence of the dark energy.

The insectoid clone that was cut in half did not die. Its two halves twisted and deformed, splitting into two independent individuals in just a few seconds! Not only that, their carapaces became thicker and their psionic energy fluctuations became stronger, clearly evolving during the battle.

"Foolish dark life forms, your attacks only make us stronger." The whisper of the Hive Will echoed directly in the minds of the Empera aliens.

The two giant Zerg clones simultaneously opened their massive mouths, spewing out two torrents of bio-plasma, the intense energy enough to evaporate the planet's surface.

This clone of the Great Devourer is interesting; it can even launch split attacks.

Alien Empera was instantly engulfed in a destructive torrent of energy, his dark armor emitting a piercing metallic creaking sound under the intense heat.

A terrifying burst of dark energy erupted, and the Dark Universe Emperor erected a giant dark energy shield on his body, successfully withstanding the attack.

"Hmph, is that all? Is this all the strength you have?" The voice of Alien Empera came from the energy storm, and then he stepped out unharmed, dark energy forming an absolute barrier around him.

"If this is all you've got, then this fight is far too boring. Warm-up over, now I'm going to fight seriously."

The Dark Universe Emperor clasped his hands together in front of his chest and unleashed a massive wave of dark energy towards the two Great Devourer clones in front of him.
