Chapter 526 Imprisoning the Crow King, Corrupting Luojia

Chapter 526 Imprisoning the Crow King, Corrupting Luojia

"No! Why, why did you do this to my father? Everything I did was right, yet you punished me and now you're sending a clone to replace me?"

Luo Jia's eyes turned blood red, and terrifying subspace energy erupted from his body. Intense anger and jealousy made him unrecognizable.

"Hahaha! Our wonderful father has done something good too! Did you know that?"
Horus returned, and so did Magnus. Both traitors were forgiven by their father and returned home.

"So, Luojia, do you want to go back and ask your father for forgiveness? He might forgive you!" Fugrim continued.

The two were also told about the return of Horus, the Warlord, and the betrayed Primarch Magnus. This time, even King Clarice couldn't sit still.

Father has actually resurrected Horus! He has actually resurrected the man who caused the empire to fall apart, the Great Crusade to end prematurely, and who allowed him to sit on the Golden Throne!

"To hell with him! All I want to do right now is kill him, I just want to drag the fake emperor off his chair and tear him to pieces."

"I'm going to kill him! I'm going to kill that clone who humiliated me, that imposter! I'll chop him into mincemeat!" Luo Jia roared.

What a disgrace, what an irony! Father, you would rather find an imposter, a clone, to serve as the pope of the state religion!
They wouldn't even look at me, they wouldn't even say sorry to me.

Am I not even as good as a clone?
"You're talking nonsense! Father will never let Horus return, nor will he let that traitor Magnus return."

They have both completely fallen, and Horus has been killed by his father—it's all a lie!

"Luojia! Use your brain! How could a clone possibly replace you? Brother Fu, Rim is lying to you; he's always been a liar!" King Claws roared.

Having just obtained the power of the Chaos God, you already want to bewitch people? Your lies are far too clumsy.

How could we possibly believe something so absurd?
"Heh heh heh! You won't give up until you see the coffin, well then I'll show you the truth." Forgrim's laughter shook the entire warp.

He casually tore open a rift in reality, revealing the golden dome of Terra's palace and displaying the state religion's sanctuary.

The exquisitely beautiful church was sculpted with countless saints and even the figure of an emperor. People were praising the great divine emperor. This scene even gave Luo Jia a strange sense of familiarity, as if it were his own perfect city.

“Behold this ridiculous empire! Those newly born Primarchs, those pathetic mechanical constructs, those new-age Primarchs,” Vograim proclaimed.

The scene shifted once more, this time appearing on the golden throne, where the emperor's body was utterly withered, resembling a emaciated old man.

Magnus sat beside him, sharing the torment of the Golden Throne, sealing the Web, lighting the Star Torch, and guiding the Empire's ships so they would not get lost in the Warp.

This scene left King Claws somewhat devastated. He looked at the man sitting on the golden throne, next to the emperor, with disbelief.

That was indeed Magnus, that traitor!

Then, the scene began to rotate again, this time appearing on a strange planet. A tall, bald man wearing silver-white armor was standing there.

A pure white light emanated from his body, incomparably holy, as if illuminating the entire planet. Countless Chaos Warriors were purified of their warp energy within this white light and then transformed into normal humans.

That incomparably sacred figure was none other than Horus, the former Imperial War General.

“Look, look, how much Father loves Horus. Even though he committed such a terrible sin, he chose to forgive him and even gave him a more powerful light. Look how biased he is.” Forgrim continued to embellish the story.

He cleverly concealed the fact that Magnus was an Imperial spy who brought the Emperor the true names of all the demons and the magic to control them, only saying that the Emperor forgave Magnus.

The same applies to Horus. Forgrim never said that Horus was possessed by an evil god, or that whoever occupies the position of Warmaster will fall.

“Lies! Even if it were true, I would never believe a word you say unless I return to Holy Terra and see it with my own eyes. Forget about it, Fugen,” said King Claws.

"Go back to Holy Terra in person? Do you think you can go back? Go back as a demon prince, return to the Empire as a demon prince of chaos?" Forgrim said.

How naive you are, my brother! You can never go back!

However, Clark's willpower is quite strong, making it difficult to corrupt him; the focus should be on Luo Jia.

Then the scene shifts again, this time to a sacred planet, the headquarters of the state religion and the residence of the Pope.

This is a shrine world. At this moment, as the Pope's genetic prototype, Luo Jia is writing a verse praising Rhodes and the Emperor. The original Luo Jia in the space suddenly stops breathing. The scene that haunts his dreams is clearly revealed in the crack—before the magnificent state cathedral, a being with the same appearance as him is writing a verse.

Then that version of myself stood up, dressed in magnificent papal robes, and came outside the church.

Amidst the prayers of millions of believers, "he" himself, draped in a holy robe adorned with scriptures and holding a scepter inlaid with the emperor's sacred relics, began to communicate with the people in a very gentle manner, bestowing blessings upon them—the blessings of an emperor, the blessings of the crown prince of a great empire.

"That's... my clone?" Luo Jia's voice was broken beyond recognition. The ashes of the Perfect City suddenly burned in her memory.

The sacred texts he wrote by hand are now crowning the imposter, and even more absurdly, the false emperor is exonerating this man of his crimes!

I have committed no crime whatsoever! If I had to say there was one, it would be that I was too loyal!

Foghrim savored his brother's devastated expression, squinting as if admiring a work of art.

"What a brilliant irony! The fortress of faith you painstakingly built with your own heart and soul has ultimately become someone else's ladder to godhood."

He suddenly leaned close to Luo Jia's ear, his demonic whisper piercing straight into her soul: "Do you know why Horus and Magnus were able to return? Do you know why your clone can become the Pope?"
Because what a father needs is never a real son, but only an obedient tool. You, my brother, are unwilling to be a tool.

"Hahahaha!" Fugrim let out an extremely maniacal laugh.

“You’re right, I want revenge, I want to destroy this clone.” Luo Jia’s eyes were unwavering.

"Have you finally figured it out, my dear Luojia?" Fugrim opened his arms to welcome the raging chaotic energy. The space behind him was tearing apart, revealing the phantom of the Throne of Joy.

"Join my Dark Holy War! Let us nail that clone to the Golden Throne and drink the wine of vengeance from the false emperor's skull!"

“You’re right, my brother, we will use that false emperor’s head to hold the wine,” Luo Jia said.

A crimson energy invaded Luo Jia's body, transforming him from a chaotic, undifferentiated demon prince into a demon prince belonging to Slaanesh.

Clark's raven claws dug deep into the ground, and he saw Luo Jia's skin peeling away to reveal the surging chaotic runes beneath.

Even more terrifying was the future vision that Forgrim presented—countless Imperial citizens wailed under the iron hooves of the Chaos army, their flesh twisted into a breeding ground of chaos; the Emperor's Royal Guard turned into walking corpses in purple flames, yet still maintained their kneeling posture.

This is an absolutely terrifying scene!

"You're insane! This will set the entire galaxy ablaze!" The Raven King hurled his shadow spear with his last ounce of strength.

But the weapon transformed into a flurry of rose petals the instant it approached Fugrim, carrying with it a cloying, putrid stench.

Fugrim chuckled as he caught a petal, watching it melt into a sticky liquid in his palm, feeling an unprecedented sense of bliss.

"Burning? No, my dear Clarks, this is sublimation." His figure began to split and blur, each clone enacting a different, terrifying future: "Humanity will forever be immersed in ultimate pleasure, and their suffering will become my sweetest brew."

Foghrim turned gracefully, his snakeskin cloak brushing against Klax's visor: "Stubborn raven, don't you want to know the truth? Is that mummified corpse sitting on the throne really our father?"

"Shut up!" Clark's shadowy wings unfurled with a roar, and thousands of ravens poured forth from beneath them, forming a black hurricane. "I will not listen to another of your blasphemous words!"

Fugrim laughed even more gleefully. "Then let your loyalty rot away, dear Clarkes." The demon prince's voice suddenly turned into a chorus.

Raven King Clarence was sealed away by Forgrim using the power of chaos and taken back to his ship, while Luo Jia himself became his new demon prince.

Now he must continue to lie low, waiting for Slaanesh's Chaos Godhood to completely merge with him.

On the planet of mythical beasts, in the palace of Rhodes' wives and concubines, the goddess of love, Elsa, was also pale, but she revealed a happy smile.

Because she has successfully forced out about 70% of Slaanesh's chaotic divine authority, and the remaining 30% is about to be completely broken away from.

She also sensed that a new Slaanesh had been chosen, a new host had been selected by the power of chaos, and would soon replace her as the new Slaanesh, and would die in her place.
